Givenchy Harvest 2010 Organza Neroli

I received this by accident. I had ordered the Ylang version of the same year but they sent this instead. Since I was curious about it, I opened it. It's ok. Really, not bad! I think I need to wait for cooler weather to give it my final opinion. I wish it had more vanilla, a little more balmy/balsamic. I get a lot of orange and some amber but it isn't as rich as I'd hoped. If I compare it to L'Occitane Mediteranee.....Neroli, it's a less mature scent and doesn't develop beyond its orange opening. And when I say orange, it's almost like Tang orange flavored drink, not neroli and not true oranges. Meh, for now, not bad is precisely my conclusion. I'll give it time and then decide. But it does confirm that the Ylang is what I really want!

Comparing classical Organza that I am wearing today wrist to wrist with Organza 2010 Neroli Harvest it differs the most in top notes, that after half an hour go into the background anyway. Neroli makes it colder and fresher in top notes, to the point of being nearly unrecognizable as Organza. Once the neroli melts with the background we have nearly identical scent to the classic but less powdery and fit for a day. Which is a great feature because the classic reads typically an evening scent. Thanks to neroli this version of Organza seems to fit also spring, while the classic is the best for autumn and winter. It lasts 3 days on skin.

It's lovely, rich and potent. It reminds me a little bit of Eau Aimable from the Couvent des Minimes, mixed with the original Organza. Very sweet, aromatic, full, a bit old school and elegant. The longevity is great - I just took a bath and can still smell it! Organza Neroli smells like autumn in a bottle. An auburn, intense, sunny autumn. Love.

Beautiful, divine,so comforting , smooth and velvety. The neroli brings out all its beauty.I sprayed this at the department stores today and I could not stop smelling my wrist. Better and softer than the original if that is possible. Great for summer nights out! I think I have found my perfume for next summer!

Very fresh. All I can smell is orange blossom. It may say neroli, but its more of an orange blossom. I have a few neroli scents and they are more green and crisp. This one is more flowery and sweet. Not bad, but not great either.

It smells exactly like bubblegum. Seriously, I can't help thinking about these popping pink bubbles! Very sweet, very sticky, but, strangely, still rather pleasant. Drydown is less sweet, with nice wood and spices. It's easy to overdose on this perfume, in this case the scent becomes suffocating, thus the wearer should apply it very sparingly. I wouldn't wear it myself, but still it's a very joyful smell. Lifts one's spirits immediately, like walking past a bakery with freshly baked sweet rolls, if you know what I mean.

Organza Neroli 2010 harvest as the name consists is all about neroli. I usually don't like neroli,it's bitter and a bit sour on my skin,but in this attempt it accompanies Organza's base in a lovely way.You will find the woody-vanilla Organza's base with a new orange-neroli aspect.It is creamy and a bit sweet,in fact that's my only complaint..Lately,I can't stand sweet fragrances although I used to like them.Overall,it is a very nice creation,if you like orange or neroli go for it!It also lats very well,almost all day!

Although has a lot of vanilla, it's not sweet and overwhelming. It is creamy cozy and uplifting. Neroli is prominent and it is lovely. Not sour, not bitter, but a sweet neroli-orange fresh smell. It's not a loud perfume but it makes a statement and lasts for hours. I love it!
