Givenchy Play Eau de Toilette

This cologne has gone from a cologne I I thought was good from a cologne that I LOVE and it has a lot to do with the attention and compliments I've gotten from women. In fact, this is the 2nd most complimented fragrance I own only bested by Aventus. The smell is very appealing. It to me brings together the best of both worlds of fresh scents and gourmands and combines it in a very crowd pleasing way. This opens up very citrusy from the lemon but also peppery. The openings is nice and appealing but it's the heart and drydown is where it's at. From there it's pretty linear but in the heart and drydown the coffee comes in to smooth the fragrance out and although there's no vanilla you do get something in there that resembles a sweet vanilla. So once you get to the drydown you get a very fresh but also sweet,citrusy fragrance with some pepper in the background that makes this a very appealing and inviting fragrance. The scent to this is great and it really surprised me to how well received this is ! In fact, my girlfriend loves this stuff and insisted that I bring it on vacation because she found it be s day but also relaxing ! Overall rating 8.5 out of 10 ! Amazing scent that gets compliments ... Only knock on this scent is that I wish it projected and lasted longer This is also my girlfriends favorite cologne on me and the 1 that she always requests I wear on vacation. Also this year I wore it in San Diego and got complimented by a lot of women when I wore it. Ladies love this stuff !!!

I just received this as a birthday gift! I wanted it so bad ever since it launched... You can never go wrong with Givenchy, seriously. At first glance though the bottle threw me off. A givenchy cologne with fake buttons on it? Uh Oh, not good... YES GOOD! The liquid sealed inside is incredible! :) It's such a mellow, comfortable, warm, refreshing, clean, modern, soft, gentle and classy scent. I hope you get the idea lol. The citruses are just perfect, very uplighting and the pepper gives the citruses a great undertone. I think there are secret ingredients in this or something because the four listed above are just too incredible to be true for this cologne. If I could compare the way this smells to other colognes I'd say it's Dior's Homme Sport combined with the same light drydown effect of Givenchy's Pi Neo. The longevity is great too. It last on me all day, as usual. I never get sick of the fragrance either. Ok we all have been wondering the same thing: Which is better? The Original or Intense? And really there is no answer to that. It all comes down to personal preference. They smell very similar, with citruses and coffee being what I smell the most in them. The Original has more of the citruses, whereas the Intense has more of the coffee. I see Givenchy Play staying in the department stores for a looooong time. But hey, what Givenchy fragrance hasn't? There is a reaaasoooon ^^v

This is what confidence smells like. Like you just walked out of the woods and then dumped spiced rum all over yourself and rolled around in some vanilla ice cream that has little slices of lemon in it.It is not an overpowering adolescent cry for attention, no this scent is personal and sexy and not for those without charm. Girls will sit closer to you and slowly slide closer and closer until they are on top of you. Guys will envy you. Needless to say buying this is a good life choice. I feel like this scent works for both summer and winter and could possibly be worn year round. Go ahead and make it your signature. The scent will stay on you through out the day, I usually spray 3-4 in the morning and can still smell it when I get home at the end of the day. The projection is perfect. It is not over-bearing, yet not weak to the point where you have to put your nose against your skin, its just right. I wear the intense version but am not such an advocate of it. It is very sweet and not as versatile, though it has the same stats a this gem. Although I must say for the dry-own, Intense gets it right too. It has a great woodsy smell to it that sticks after the sweet coffee smells goes away. Don't be afraid to try new things, buy Play.

Great fragrance. I haven't smelled anything like this. The citrus on here along with the fresh spicy is okay, and the coffee notes makes it better. The opening is citrus with a small hint of coffee in the background. After it starts to drydown, the coffee notes take over, but not too sweet like the intense version. When the coffee notes become stronger, the citruses begin to fade away but still i the background. This is perfect for gourmand lovers who don't want something too sweet. I don't see this doing well in the hot summer days. It's better for summer nights or cool summer days. Best if worn during the Fall and Spring or a night out. A person might be able to wear it for the Winter. If the citrus notes were toned down a bit, it would be my signature scent and I would give it 5 stars (2-3 sprays max) Age group: 18+ Projection: 4.5 stars Longevity: 5 stars Smell: 4.75 stars Versatility: 4.75 stars Overall: 4.75 stars

@Matt Abdul To me Play and Play Intense share a lot of similarities, the big difference however is that PI is much sweeter and has a lot less citrus. I doubted between the to and sampled them side by side for about a month. I eventually went for the original Play because Play Intense is a bit to sweet which makes it less versatile. Moreover I think that the original Play has more of a classy vibe to it due to the bitter sweet citrus. Don't be fooled by the poor longevity of Play, I think that this is one that you nose gets used to very fast. I feel like it's gone in 30 minutes but I had people telling me that I wear to much perfume even though I wore 2 sprays of Play in the middle of winter and I had it on for about 5 hours. Hope this helps :)

I wish they would bring this back, I stopped wearing any fragrances for like for 5 years. Play used to be my signature scent and I used to get a ton of complements on it from women and more importantly I really like it. When I got back into fragrances a couple of years ago I went to buy it and found that it had been discontinued. I have been searching ever since for a replacement and haven't found a suitable replacement yet. It was that journey that has turned me into a frag head and I have found multiple other scents that I enjoy now. and has turned into my new hobby. I just wish now that I could smell Play one more time to see if it is good as I remember or have my tastes changed.

I prefer my scent be very pleasing to me and tolerable to others. This one fills the bill quite nicely. I really enjoy the subtle scents, and this one is very subtle. Oftentimes, someone will walk past you and it's the equivalent of a kid with a souped up stereo with a giant sub in the trunk driving by with the windows down and some offensive rap turned up to max volume. This isn't what I'm into. Play is your favorite song enjoyed by you at an acceptable level being played through your earbuds and everyone noticing you enjoying the music. Nah, all the above is crap! I just enjoy how it smells and it isn't overpowering to me and hopefully others.

Play's slightly bitter opening citruses are vibrant and juicy-I love the scent of orange peel. The freshness of the top joins the heart seamlessly; the light woody notes and subtle coffee accord blend well. I sometimes find coffee heavy in other frags yet it's very soft and pleasant here. The touch of sweetness in the base grounds the scent nicely, adding depth. This is quite young, but still has a touch of Givenchy elegance. Very nice sillage, good longevity and do I find Play outlasts its sweeter, heavier Intense partner.

I love Givenchy Play. It's clean, fresh and bright. It's perfect for the office, after the shower, daily activities, etc. I consider this fragrance in the same category than Boss Bottled : it's not the same kind of scent, but both are nices, safes and versatiles (i even think than Play is more versatile because to wear Boss Bottled in summer it's not a good idea). Nice surprise for me, longevity + 8 hours with a moderate projection (like most of my fragrances).

This was always one of my favourite fragrances but unfortunately I ran out around 7-8 years ago. I just came across a very similar smelling fragrance called Tempo by City Rhythm and it’s insanely close to this (and Play Intense too) If you too are heartbroken that Givenchy play has gone away I highly recommend getting yourself a sample to try it for yourself and get a little reminder of this amazing discontinued gem.

This used to be my signature and I went to get a new bottle because I'm running low and I find out it's discounted. VERY disappointed 😞 Now I've got to hoard my last 15 ML so that future generations can know just how smooth and wonderfully this stuff is/was. Compliment through the roof on this stuff. Great for office, casual and a suit. I sincerely hope they bring this back at some point without butchering it.

One of my absolute favorites, It was something I sprayed on and made me feel like that "cool guy"..It was a great high-quality summer scent that I can't find in any other men's fragrances today..Just like with Armani Attitude..Didn't realize until now that both have that coffee/citrus combo..Something about that combination was magic. I really miss those fragrances..Nothing ever comes close to them!

Sigh... The early batches were so good. I remember my girlfriend smelled it in a magazine (back then they would put fragrances in magazine advertising folds) and she liked it so much she insisted that we buy it. It was strong and I got many compliments. Then it was reformulated, and then finally discontinued. Don't bother with it unless you can find an earlier release.

My wife got me this for christmas and I must say that I love this fragrance. Givenchy knocked it out of the park with this one. Very well blended,long lasting, and just smells plain good. The day after I got it I wore it to a dinner with friends and family and got a compliment not long after my arrival. Definitely a keeper in my book and I definitely reccommend it.

I own both the Play and the Play intense, this is a fresh smelling, little bit playful and kind of unique frag. I tend to wear this inon days that I know I'm going to be working late or heading out straight after an appointment because the 2 fragrances compliment each other well, the Play in the morning then Intense before I head out.

Underated fragrance : fantastic for the summer...(in my top 5 for this season). Play is appropriate too for the rest of the year. longevity and sillage like most of the fragrances : 8 hours with moderate projection (obviosly, it's not One million, A men, Ultramale, etc.). It's smells very nice. It's a safe scent.

This is one of the best male fragrances out their. I highly recommend this to everyone! It's not overpowering but sweet at the same time but masculine. I love it and think everyone should have it since it's so good! This gets a 9.25/10 because of how well the scent is!

Used to be my signature scent six years ago. Amazing citrus cocktail opening with woody/coffee/semi-seeet development. Complements magnet. Super beautiful, versatile and safe. Just can't go wrong with it. Performance was Ok

I still think about this fragrance, it was probably my first freshie and definitely my first designer that I took from my father growing up in my very early teens. I wish I could find it, if not for the nostalgia of it all

One of the best perfumes I ever had. I had the 2011 batch and I cherished every ml of that bottle. There is nothing available today that can match its composition. Pretty much got laid every night I wore it.

I have to join the crowd, I miss this fragrance. See it on the top tier of my fragrances but must use it sparingly since it is discontinued . Maybe Givenchy will bring it back....we can only hope.

The only one perfume for men that I use for myself!!! I love it. Totally! It's the perfect smell of my man, and it's really attractive, when I wore it to the club I saw girls smelling the air :)))

I prefer this one over intense. Beautiful fragrance, it does share some similarities with Robert Graham’s Valor. If you can get a bottle for a decent price, get it!

If you're into reviews, the lack of depth from FernandoB lead me to believe it is a fake/lie review. Especially this late in the game.

Such a shame this was discontinued, yet all their other repetitive fragrances carry on. Warm, citrus, uplifting.

Man I miss this stuff... Wish they'd bring it back!

Got this as a gift from my family at the begining of my visit over summer 2012 after graduating HS and before starting university. I immediately associate it with that summer and the shenanigans of those days; hanging out with friends at shisha places, the summer heat, the mediterranean sun and sea breeze, and driving my dad's Chevrolet listening to the theme songs of that summer on the radio. It was the end of a life chapter and the start of new one, and for me this fragrance captures a snapshot of that unique period of transitioning into adulthood. I also used it throughout my early university years, so it brings back memories of those times as well, mainly freshman year. Regarding the fragrance itself, I had some fragrances at the time, but I didn't know much about notes or how to assess quality. I remember thinking it had a bit of a deoderant-ish sporty feel. In retrospect, it was probably the youthfullness coming from the combination of the freshness and slight sweetness, probably a bit of a psychological effect from the bottle design, and maybe some slight scent similarity with Axe Dark Temptations. The coffee note did not smell realistic (i.e. unlike something like Kerosene follow/followed), in fact, I never knew it had a coffee note until I looked up the notes, and I've been drinking coffee since 9. I don't know how unique it was when it came out in 2008, but I haven't come across that many fragrances that smell like it. I tried Rochas Man in store, which gets compared to the intense version more than the EDT. Despite similarities in some notes, they aren't in clone territory, and I prefer the givenchy's as they're of higher quality and more modern. Valentino Green Stravaganza doesn't smell the same, that one is more about freshness. Play EDT's performance was a let down. If I remember correctly, it projected a foot or two for 30 min - 1 hr, and stuck closely for maybe 5 hrs. Keep in mind this was the vintage formulation, probably a 2011 bottle or older. I didn't use it often, and barely made it through half the 50 ml bottle. Eventually, in 2017 or 2018 I decided to try and finish the bottle as it just lingered around. So I put it in my car, which my father took to get repaired one day and the mechanic stole the bottle. Sadly, that was the end of my journey with Givenchy Play EDT. In summary, it was a decent, fun, and not too serious cologne that I used casually during the day, but I was never really that impressed. It's ideal for a sporty young man, but can work for anyone really. Nonetheless, I find it shocking that there are people trying to sell a bottle for $250 - 400 usd on ebay. DO NOT pay that much! It was an alright scent, I would only buy it out of nostaligia if I find a bottle for around $50. The intense flanker is significantly better, but also not worth $400 usd either, I got lucky and found a half-full Intense bottle on marketplace for about $85 usd. For 400 usd you can buy a top of the line niche bottle.

25AUG22: Just received my bottle today. First spray (3 to chest)... I'm getting Citrus, Pepper and something else...something woody? I'm not getting any coffee...yet. This is such a light fragrance...it's barely there, but you feel it more than smell it. I think I'm just sensitive to the Pepper tho.... (Felt the same way with "Ferragamo F-Black"...just worse...lol. That frag made me have sneezing fits and made it hard to breathe...like someone shot me with pepper spray.) So far, this is such a well blended fragrance! It's got the Citrus that is right there an easily able to be picked up, but if you let the scent linger on your nose..the Tobacco and Vetiver pop up and make their presence known...but not loudly...smoothly and quietly. If there's really a coffee note in this...I think I'm going to have to buy a backup bottle IMMEDIATELY...this is such a SMOOTH frag!! This is like...smoky jazz club smooth...wow! I might go nuts spraying this on Saturday...lol. I will update this with more as this frag develops...though I can see why it's so beloved! This is really friggin smooth... Update: The wife cuddled up to me and said I smelled nice. Told her it's my new frag "Givenchy - play"... She said "it's nice, it smells like an Arnold Palmer... Like tea and lemonade". Haha... That works for me! I'm really surprised at the level my wife likes this fragrance. I only wear it at the house so far and EVERY time she comments on how great it smells. I get all of the notes listed in the pyramid with the exception of the "Coffee". Not disappointed, but I think it would have been AWE-SOME if I could get that note too... I'll try wearing this out of the house next week...maybe monday. 11OCT22 UPDATE: This frag has been outmoded by "Whispers in the Library"...the simplicity of the notes in that frag are just way better than this one. Especially the "Pepper" note...it's so pure in WITL, while in PLAY it's muddied by clashing citrus and coffee notes. I haven't worn this one since my initial review and doubt I ever will again. Will hold the bottle for another season, then to the donation bin it goes... 23OCT22 Update: Gifted my bottle to a young man that liked the peppery coffee notes in it. I'm hooked on "Whispers in the Library"...don't need this one, discontinued or not.

I tested Play and Play Intense on the same day...I put the Play down and bought the Intense, before it had even dried! At first sniff they are similar, but after the initial blast subsides they are in fact related-yet quite different... Both this and Intense are built around torchwood notes(amyris):a highly flammable wood (hence the torch-wood name) that is the source of the resin elemi(Latin name of the tree is amyris elemifera)and due to the high concentrations of resins is quite aromatic. It grows mainly in the Carribean, Florida and Central America. Here, in Play EDT, the citruses are subtle and sexy , but lighten the overall resiny wood notes. The heart notes of pepper and coffee flowers are particularly inviting; spicy but subdued, alongside a very earthy floral air. These supporting notes make the amyris just come alive. The drydown of vetiver and patchouli is earthy, raw and sexy-but never gets that dark or mean. I genuinely like PLAY, but I am in love with INTENSE... Sillage: good Longevity: good to very good Overall: 3.5/5 If Play and Intense were the Givenchy brothers: Play would be the light haired, blue-eyed athletic, outgoing popular one who every one just loved and found so handsome and perfect; and INTENSE would be the darker brother: an introverted, artistic guy who no one really "got"; but was infinitely more interesting and far sexier, though nowhere near as popular...Play EDT is more on the surface, nice and polished. Play Intense is more raw, deeper, and profound. Similar genes, but entirely different attitudes, feel and spirits.

Oh wow I forgot this fragrance even existed! Was looking at Givenchy Pi Air and I saw this image. I had a whole flash back, and memory resurgence of even purchasing this bad boy. It was either 2011-2012 when I bought this. So I can't give it a proper rating breakdown because it was so long ago, and the product is now discontinued. I was in Macy's before it went out of business. And was doing my usual cologne rounds, smelling each fragrance at the counter. And this one stood out. It was the typical playboy, bachelor, body spray scent with a eau de toilette concentration. And was perfect for high school at the time. I remember it having a suave breeze when you'd walk past somebody. The pepper note was very prominent in the opening. But I remember a leathery, woody, coffee dry down. The coffee not being to over baring either. The notes for this cologne seem weird but some how work well in unison. Projection and longevity wasn't the greatest. But I didn't care because I was young and it smelled good, and I wasn't thinking that intricately about a cologne. I don't know if it was me being impressionable, or the slick marketing with Justin Timberlake. Or just the fragrance itself! That made me buy this year's ago. But I'm happy I did. Wasn't the greatest fragrance ever. Just perfect for first dates to the movies, bowling, or lower lever restaurants like Oliver Garden or Red Lobster. Or quick nights on the town. Definitely wish it wasn't discontinued. And will probably give the intense version a chance when I have some extra money laying around.

This is nice. Starts off with a clear fresh bright yellow grapefruit and bitter orange citrus, soft vetiver and gritty pepper tone. The sharp citrus dulls just enough for a very mild and pleasant scent akin to brewed spent coffee grounds and a lovely ambrox/salt note to float up top. Very downplayed. I should mention you won't smell any coffee in the traditional 'fresh in the doughnut shop cup'. Instead it's a spent coffee void of all flavor - it's the discarded grounds which have a slightly metallic edge void of coffee sweetness but still holding on to a washed out bitterness. It's quite nice and soft. I believe this fragrance is about the interplay of complimentary sharp, fresh and clean notes juxtaposed to create something that has a youthful and energetic lean. I enjoy the drydown of this fragrance. It's when the subtle dull coffee ground and vetiver base take over. The nice salty undercurrent keeps it sharp and clear. It's quite loud and bright for the first hour or two but manages to soften up and settle down for the rest. It definitely has a consistent character and doesn't shift it's style although it does change quite a bit. Very nice fragrance for the warm Spring and Summer. Very bright and positive vibe. Edit: I am really enjoying this. Wore it today and it stayed with me for hours. By afternoon it softened to fuzzy, salty, filtered coffee grounds tinted with powdered citrus and vetiver. Really enjoying this one.

This citrus bomb is reminiscent of the citrus/fruity trend in men's frags prevalent in the mid-1990's to the mid-2000's. The opening is very similar to Christian Dior Dune pour homme which was my signature scent when i was back in college & the drydown also reminds me of Burberry Weekend which was my old favourite go to scent in the years after that. The very faint coffee & tobacco blossom notes are almost non-existent but the Amyris note is quite noticeable in the background despite the dominant mixed citrus accord. It's almost nostalgic & classic freshie now, much classier scent than the sticky, generic deodorant/body spray smelling Intense version which i detested. Suitably recommended for the warmer months. Love the nice looking & unique bottle design which is a very telling of that era/advent of mp3 players, ipods & iphones it was inspired by & released from. My only disappointment is the very weak, close to skin performance which lasts upto 4-5hrs max.

A great scent in the designer field of things. I get a aromatic feel, almost aquatic in a way. I think there is tonka, and you get the light and airy coffee in the background. This is similar to how I wanted versace dreamer to smell like. It is different, but is still crowd pleasing. I do not love the smell, but appreciate it, it smells better over time and maybe it did not sell as well because of that. I get 4 hours longevity and it hangs around a skin scent for a while longer. This is not a loud fragrance, but is not business appropriate in my opinion. This is a cold weather indoor fragrance or spring fragrance IMO. Not bad and wished I got the intense version when it was at discounters. I do not believe it is quality or special enough for me to love, but it could fit the bill for your collection, 20 plus.

I was intrigued when reading about this fragrance in particular to see that coffee was one of the top notes. Coffee in general is something that I enjoy allot and like most people, I enjoy the aroma more than anything. Sadly, it is slightly short lived, but the fruity vibes from the multiple citruses make up for it, including the very subtle, soft woody vibes at the bottom (patchouli and moss). Much like Viktor and Rolf "Spice Bomb", the longevity and more so the projection of Givenchy Play is not all that great; you're better off getting Play Intense which capitalizes more on coffee, less on the citrus, but the same dry down. Fantastic fragrance, but low performance. Great all year around in my opinion.

This smells more or less like you spilled a Starbucks product upon yourself. In other words, it has a mild, creamy, coffee note. It's okay... nice. It doesn't project much, however. The bottle is meant to excite the imaginations of modern twentysomethings: it looks vaguely like an mp3 player. Former boybander Justin Timberlake was selected as the face of the ad campaign; be still my beating heart. From the ad copy, about the bottle: "It is made of milky glass, with cafalonium frame and rubber button to press." As near as I can tell from a google search, cafalonium (if it exists at all) simply means "plastic" and the button doesn't do anything. Play!

Givenchy Play is a Play intense without a Tonka, less dark, less sweet and intense, as the name says hehe At night, you can differentiate the notes, because the scent becomes less synthetic. One mix of pepper (lightly) and coffee with a citrus notes (orange in my perception). In the cold, the fragrance resembles the smell of a very cold Shower gel, plastic jelly, citrus iced coffee, all with the DNA of the line Givenchy Play. The fragrance somewhat resembles the products of Starbucks haha, as sayd "wesleyhclark". Smell unlike anything i have tested, one of my favorite fragrances: Scent: 8 Versatility:6 Longevity:7 Projection:8

Really good stuff. I had the shower gel of this for years and was sad to hear it was discontinued. Fast forward a few years and I was gifted an O.G. bottle by my uncle who doesn't use it anymore. This is inviting, sexy, easy to wear. It's a nice blend of not to sweet but still exposing the orange, not loud at all but welcoming enough up close. Also I am a sucker for whenever coffee is in a fragrance, it gives it a little warmth especially since I love coffee. On the dry down what you continue to pickup is the orange, coffee and a little bit of vetiver. 8.5/10 doesn't last long at all but it's unique and an O.G. of the 2000's.

AAAH coffe flower, thats what I could smell. As unique (to me) as this is, and I'm a stickler for unique scents, I actually dont like it :-( If I bought this blind, I would be in love with it by now, as the "well you've bought it, just enjoy it" mentality would kick in and it would have grown on me very quickly. Anyway, at the risk of sounding a lil un-PC, i definitely recommend this for alot of the certain young, hip dudes of Asian decent that I know at work, it has that sort of modern, tech-aged feel about it that would go great with that style, particularly, the guys you see one 'So you think you can dance'

Despite being a a little synthetic, Givenchy's "Play" is very pleasant, especially during drydown. The coffee note here is quite strong, this is what I particularly like about the fragrance. Reminds me of a couple Boss scents (especially "Red" even thou the notes are different) but I have to say that Play lasted very long for me, I could smell traces of it when heading home from work, definitely outlasted the Boss fragrances that it draws some comparisons to. Would recommend for people who want a refreshing scent with a bit of body to it, coffee fans will love it. Nice!

Sweet alcoholic woods with some coffee...maybe a sub-par analog of Polo Double Black. I really doused myself in it, and got more alcohol fumes than usual but then it wasn't as strong as I would have expected. When I sniff it up close, I find that it has an anisy rubberiness along the lines of Bulgari Black, but much heavier and oppressive, so less pleasant. The drydown is a little quieter and more powdery, maybe a bit like Armani Code. Overall, it just smells like the mixed cloud of sweet oriental fumes that surrounds the department store men's fragrance counter.

Forget the cheesy MP3 player bottle...I have walked past this bottle so many times in the past several years and finally tested it and thought - not bad! You get a nice, citrusy opening with mandarin orange, bergamot and grapefruit with a hint of coffee and some vetiver and patchouli in the base. This is a nice, alluring fragrance. It is not incredibly unique or complex, but it has been crafted by two very good perfumers and it is a very underrated fragrance. Fresh, subtle, sexy, and quite versatile....I like this stuff!

You can truly smell the citrus top notes well on this version of Givenchy Play; then again I feel it fails to blend well with the coffee notes, almost forced. The middle Notes and Base Notes on the dry-down are the best parts; however you get more of those sweet coffee notes in the Intense version and less of the citrus. As far as longevity and projection is concerned the citrus does not last long and the coffee notes last a few hours. I would not buy Givenchy Play over the Givenchy Play Intense.

I first tested it back in 2010 and i really liked it, but I decided to buy 1 million instead (great decision back in the day). Recently I found it 50% off and I couldn't resist to buy it. It's not strong and doesn't projects a lot, yet noticeable within the first two hours. Citrus coffee and pepper is what I get for the most par. Smells very good but I wouldn't pay full price for it.

Batch is 1x01. I used to use it and I loved it. Sadly it’s so hard to get these days. It’s a great freshie with a little coffee in the back that is perfect for when you just wanna grab and go. It’s slightly similar to the intense but instead of cappuccino, it’s more of a americano which adds a slight sweet and bitter feel. It’s also light, airy and brighter. Great scent profile.

Wearing this today from a small sample bottle that I was given a couple of years ago. So dabbed on, not sprayed on. One word review: warm To me, I'm getting a smell like a tonka or vanilla bean warmth, but it's not one of those. There is a number of other things under that, but I can't tell what they are. Ultimately makes me think of an intimate evening with someone special.

Givenchy play, A great fragrance that reminds me of a lighter and fresher version of Rochas man, it is fresh but has a very light sweetness to it that almost reminds me of cocoa butter. A great all year round fragrance in my opinion, I live in Florida by the way. Good work, school or date cologne for sure because nobody will hate it.

Coffee? Really? All I get is bergamotty woody pepper, which is very nice. It's a bit cold though, rather impersonal, it's the type of fragrance that many different people would gravitate to and wear. It's definitely not on the level of Axe/Lynx deodorant, but it's not a statement-maker either. Hell, I'd wear it.
