L'Interdit Edition Couture

I'm shocked at how different this is to the original. I thought the juice is the same as the original with different limited edition packaging like many brands do. But this one is a bit sweeter than the original, which I love! It's sexy but still classy, it's mature but still young. Perfection in a bottle, a signature worthy. However, I do agree on the sayings that this is very similar with or a sweeter version of Elie Saab Le Parfum. If I were to choose between the two and need only one of the same scent profile, I'd take this over ESLE. No brainer for me.

I "rediscovered" this fragrance when I returned to our summer home - to make it permanent. At this point, I'm beyond addicted, ahem, obsessed w/fragrance & I was SO delighted to find this waiting for me! (Can you imagine?!) SHE. IS. STUNNING! The tuberose/jasmine duo on the opening gave me immediate ALIEN vibes - like it or not! She is an evening IN perfume -knowing where this is all leading. She is quite intoxicating, yet elegant. My "rediscovered" bottle was less than half full when we were reunited, so...nothing left to do, except...BUY ANOTHER BOTTLE!

I'm really loving it lately. It is soo good for spring/summer time. I really like the deepness and darkness of this one in the beginning. It is very femine, has a fruit-sweetness and some darkness. Appropriate for a day and evening wearing.

I have never tried the original so I can’t make any comparisons. I was intrigued to try this out because I was told it was a limited edition version so not easy to purchase since it is no longer in production. I bought it online blind early last year and although it is not a love for me, it is a very strong like. It’s the right balance of fruity and floral for me and the only reason it’s not a love is because it doesn’t give me a unique vibe that I prefer when I want a fragrance to be signature worthy. The opening is really juicy and sweet in a classy way. Also I wish the sillage was bigger. Still it is a beautiful fragrance that will garner compliments from people who have good taste. I am glad I got this and I will enjoy it for a very long time because I don’t wear it often so I don’t get tired of it quickly.

Having been a fragrance addict for 30+ years now, I can say that a fragrance this amazing only comes along once about every five years. L'Interdit is a perfect blend of gourmand and white flowers with a fresh, clean, soapy twist (similar to Ralph Lauren's Romance) in a bottle that is absolute class. It's sexy, yet somehow also elegant, it's feminine, but not in a girly, pretty, pink way, more in a bold, seductive, I-am-woman-hear-me-roar way. If you've been searching for that stand-out fragrance for nightclubbing, dates, bedroom, wedding-night, but have never quite found it with the likes of Flowerbomb, Black Opium, Addict, Angel, Poison Girl etc, well, enter L'Interdit. This enchanting and provocative fragrance will cocoon you in a cloud of deliciousness. L'Interdit smells similar to Flowerbomb Nectar except L'Interdit is smoother and even longer lasting. Performance-wise... the longevity on this is over 24 hours. It's almost too long. After one spray on my arm I could still smell it very strongly 24 hours later even after 20 minutes in the jacuzzi. The sillage is perfect too. Two sprays and the scent will waft over the people right next to you, but it won't asphyxiate everyone in the room. I might have to declare Givenchy my favourite fragrance house. L'Interdit is possibly the best new fragrance of this decade.

love this!!! paid a bit too much (overzealous and manipulative - lol - but knowledgeable csr). The pear is one of my fav notes and it comes enveloped in a "cumulonimbus" of flowers; considering I dislike tuberose, this is a beautifully put together frag.Decent performance (silage and longevity)

The first time I sprayed it I thought the scent was somewhat familiar. It smelled like Coco Mademoiselle. First spray you'll smell vanilla. Musk in the middle then floral vanilla on the dry down. It's works best on my clothes and on paper but not much on my skin.

This is lovely but it is very close to Elie Saab Le Parfum as Jacquis said. It was a blind buy which I would of passed on if I'd known. You don't need both.

Love the bottle, but not enticing enough to buy because of it. They should’ve had this as their initial bottle when they launched the new L’Interdit
