L’Interdit Elixir

as a disclaimer, i love the linterdit line, i own or owned almost all flankers. i blind bought this one because i also love cherry but im pretty disappointed. the cherry is fruity and dark but doesnt last very long, its gone within the first 15-30 minutes. it has a faint cherry cola smell but its very hard to smell after sprayed. not sure if its my skin or if it needs maceration, but the perfume is gone in less than 30 minutes and you're left with a very faint vanilla floral scent i enjoy it, but i would definitely try on skin before buying.

A lovely dark deep cherry with a boozy rum accord. I love this. The cherry is tarte and rich . This differs considerably compared to all the other flankers because the white florals are not particularly prominent here. There are numerous flowers mentioned, but I honestly am not picking them up. This fragrance reminds me of Killian - a dry woody base with a syrupy boozy dessert accord. This is a truly lovely fragrance and a must try for cherry lovers. However, regrettably the dry down is much flatter and less inspiring than the beautiful opening.

Tried this today , and i'm little disappointed. It reminded me of Mugler-Alien Extraintense which doesn't have cherry note in it but they smell similar and they both smell sour on me. This has the same sourness too. I think I don't like [tuberose + any sour note] combination

I am so excited for this! L'interdit EDT is a signature scent for me, and Rouge & Rouge Ultime I have and adore .. especially ROUGE. I want this mainly because of the cherry - I hope it comes out soon and smells somewhat unique! Looking forward to this!

I truly don't think L'Interdit needed a cherry flanker, this kind of smells like the cherry flanker of every other perfume at the department store. And mind you L'Interdit Rouge is one of my favorite perfumes ever.

Not a review, it’s not available here yet. To the reviewers below, are you testing in the heat? As we know that can change performance and perception greatly.

I smelled it today at Macy's, fruity initial spray but dry down smelled like burnt wood, disappointed in this flanker :/

Looks like it will be a powerhouse. What a perfect bottle, all the red reminds me of Hypnotic Poison.

Smells like cherry cola to me. This flaker wasn't needed :(
