Noctambule

This line from Givenchy is only available in very few stores in the UK so not many people will have the opportunity to smell them, which is a shame as they are all truly gems. It’s unmistakably a rose fragrance first and foremost but the oud gives it weight and depth, making it lean slightly more masculine. It’s Turkish delight at the end of a banquet in a Middle Eastern palace. At just under £300 it’s very expensive but imo more balanced and elegant when compared to other rose forward scents at the same price point. I’m so pleased I tried this before I bought le sables roses. Much more superior.

This smells like jo malone s velvet rose oud mixed with l autre oud de lancome. Its dark and woody, yet sweet and rosy. Leans a little feminine but a confident man with the right outfit could totally rock this

I love the way of easy to wear Rose&oud that not too intense like other rose&oud designer fragrace that full with ambroxinide or ambermax really well blend.

I love it, too bad its performance is poor.

Full wear (Brought, USD 180) I have worn this one time and I do get a compliment. Actually, a lot but it is understandable. Noctambule is barely be the "Oud - Rose" fragrance. In early year (that using a lot of Thick new way amber). Noctambule, is Ambroxan / dark woody with Spicy and Rose fragrance. The oud accord in this leans woody, the new way oud. You may find this kind of oud in late release fragrance. This is very modern fragrance and I can see that sexy wine-like masculine rose being centric of the scent. When it hits the dry-down, the soft Mineral tone. That they use in MMW show up slight noticeable. Cumin(?), they is soft bite undertone which soft b/o undertone, it desire to be melt on to your skin. The scent develop in peaceful page, good for stable use. Mass appearing and compliment-gather. Another safe fragrance to wear. ===== Noctambule Givenchy (Store test, skin test) Noctambule is modern take on Rose - Oud scent. The base accord of La Collection Particulière seems to be rather modernize material. It is soft metallic to my nose, clean, hyper sharp. Oud in this, I would categorize as soft oud fragrance. What I do like is soft sweet wine at t at the back and this leans more woody, sexy airy woody rose and oud. I don’t find this style in Rose-Oud fragrance before Easy to wear, unisex but sharp on both gender. 8/10

Very dark, mysterious. A winter evening scent to mingle with thick scarves and mittens. A jammy, slightly spicy, wine-adjacent rose to keep you warm, with some rich, honeyed, steeped fruit sweetness peaking through. I like it, but requires a specific mood and atmosphere (aka, not a misty mid-june morning)

The standout of the line; the cumin & oud give off interesting funk while rose, pink pepper, & papyrus keep it sleek & modern.

Very typical oud and rose combination. Nothing different, spectacular, original from many other similar creations.

Just received my bottle. It was a blind-buy. Starts off as a nice blend between rose and oud, then dries down to a tolerable animalic scent. Leans more masculine than feminine despite the bottle color. I was hoping for a more mass-pleasing feminine scent, so I'm a little disappointed.

This post is based on only two full wears from a 2ml decant. About an hour in, walked by a coworker for the first time that day and she commented that I smell good. Another coworker came into my office and asked what smells so good in here. Also wore this on a weekend getaway with my girl and twice, she complimented this fragrance. Once in late morning and again late evening. Honestly, had I smelled this prior to Oud Satin Mood, I probably would have bought this. As much as I enjoy OSM, is really strong and has a very narrow window of wearing opportunity. Noctambule, in my opinion, is more versatile. Where OSM might be more cold weather special occasions date night appropriate, Noctambule, doesn’t necessarily need to be “special occasions” date nights and will be more forgiving on milder temperature evenings. I’m not sure that this is a beast mode room filler, but you will get noticed and very likely get complimented on it. I got 8 hours easy on this to only make point of it handling a solid work day. The reality is it’s still functional as a skin scent for a couple hours (at least) beyond that. This stuff is dark and mysterious but in an elegant romantic way. Highly recommend for those who enjoy the rose oud combo but want something a little more subtle.

Excellent fragrance if you are looking for a premier level rose-oud fragrance with a slightly wine-plum-jam like facets. As a reviewer mentioned below, the opening reminded me strongly of L'autre oud. I own FBs of both and yet I don't plan to declutter either or. I love them both (it's one of my most favourite recipe). Certainly fit for a gala type of event in cool weather. On my following wears I got a bit tired of the fruitiness... I will let this one go.

Wore this today. This whole collection is fire. Very clean western oud. Has a little wine note in the background, but that could just be Daddy’s skin. Best way I can describe this scent is if Ombre Nomade started going to Church more often. Ya dig?

This smells like TF's Noir de Noir pre-reformulation. I might NEED this. It is a dark, spicy rose. A little dirty but very sexy. I stumbled across this line yesterday, and the whole collection is wildly underrated.

I get kind of a 'gluey' rose note. Red wine. Flourishes at night. A civilised vampire might wear this. Like.

To me this smells like rose oud and red wine.
