Organza First Light

My first love was the OG Organza, way back idk in the 2000's? But I tried it on my skin recently and it was just a tuberose bomb. Maybe it was always that way, I don't recall. But it is certainly too much for my nose now. I prefer this one. It has the same luxurious white floral/vanilla/wood combo that I adore, but is much more wearable, without the obnoxiously overpowering tuberose. And the lemon & honeysuckle combo at the beginning is just so fresh and lovely. It's hard to find frags with a passable gardenia note in, and this one is very good imo. Gardenia is one of my favorite smells ever 😻 I should note that my body runs hot, so that could be why the tuberose of Organza is so overpowering on me. I couldn't wear Indecence for the same reason...too obnoxiously sweet. Maybe someone with a more yin constitution wouldn't have that problem.

A great beauty. Complex, luxurious. With an amazing start of lemons, ylang and woody vanilla. A worthy sister to Organza, she shines multiple facets. I can detect also benzoin, gardenia, honeysuckle in top notes, jasmin. All the notes create a new quality to such extend that I would not call First Light floral. It is much more. And very elegant, seductive at that. Summer intensifies her. Springtime she is more translucent, floral and fresh. During summer she blooms and heat up like a seducer. A great scent.

Organza first light is a sprakly gold, cozy, very long lasting fragrance. In my opinion it is "first light" not in a morning way but more like after being awake all night with your man. It is a mature sexy fragrance. I am 24 and sometimes I feel that it is too mature for me, and yet, I still wear it sometimes when I wanna feel like a lady. I think that this one is much better than the original Organza.

Rec'd a tiny one in a 5 piece Christmas set, and promptly used it all up. WAY nicer than the original Organza. This one is so beautiful and unique on me. Soft and creamy, crisp & sexy, and warm and golden all at the same time. This one is hard for me to describe. Is luminous and fresh, aromatic, and a delight! It takes me away to a special place, and makes me feel very feminine and beautiful.

I've been wanting to try this without spending alot so I purchased a miniature. I must say I really love the scent. It's sharp and much lighter than the original.

Organza First Light to me smells different enough from the original Organza to justify it as a flanker, but similar enough to identify it as such. Organza's headiness is a bit more muted, instead there is more of a creaminess to First Light. It seems to sit closer to my skin and I think it's the more prominent vanilla that creates those effects, plus of course there are some different notes and missing ones. The lemon is noteable without making the fragrance sour or really fresh, it just adds a very soft cistrus note, never sticks out. The sweetness is about the same as in Organza. First light is almost like a rich body cream. Fans of the OG should definitely check it out, except for people who wouldn't appreciate any changes to the fragrance. I'm like that when it comes to Samsara. Never really enjoyed "Un Air de Samsara", unfortunately - it only made me crave the OG even more. ; )

Unexpectedly, I found First Light to be extraordinarily woody on my skin, aromatic, dry, warm, remarkable, almost bracing. This is a scent to wear when one needs clarity, focus, and calm. Wearing FL I feel forthright, grounded, and in control of my life. I had no idea that you could find this feeling in a bottle! Wood and benzoin are definitely forward on my skin. I can detect the the slightest touch of lemon, and I catch honeysuckle in slight, wispy drifts. The opening accord has an almost celeraic note to it, that fades as a spicy accord comes forward with the woods. Not at all sweet, but fresh, like the air in a sauna as the heat expands your lungs and lets you *breathe* for the first time in ages.

Doesn't smell anything like Organza. Fans of Sensi may also like this as the two have a very similar style. Big fan of this, myself (and of Sensi), but it ain't got nothin' on original Organza. I don't find them anything alike. So, this is great if you're not comparing it to Organza (said a big fan of Organza). A very bright & fresh, warm, syrupy, resinuous, woody floral. I can imagine this being worn on a hot sunny day in Italy or Japan, while enjoying your dinner in a fancy cafe.

After some time from the first day I try it,I have to say this is a nice fragrance,sweet but in a soft way,and soft but you notice its presence,and the best ...it is long lasting in my skin...es decir,al principio no me gustó mucho,lo guardé por un tiempo. Luego le dí otra oportunidad...ahora me encanta...

First Light perfume is my new love! Beautiful translucent fresh, soft and intoxicating aromat.Development great in warm weather!

Beautiful feminine, soft, cozy, sweet, creamy, light, mature, elegant, smooth rounded. Benzoin and woodsy notes are bit prominent right in the opening. Suitable more as winter fragrance.

I'm glad I found this! The twist with this one suits me more than the original Organza...

I cannot improve on Fragrantica's perfect description above of this fragrance. I'm not normally a fan of white flowers with citrus and honeysuckle, the whole affair is usually just so darn fresh. But here, you have a uniquely Organza-esque oriental foundation with the "fresh" accord blended in so seamlessly, it's the closest I'll likely come to loving white flowers with citrus and honeysuckle.

Soft, mild and a little creamy scent. I enjoy the sweet honeysuckle note in it most. The scent stays close to the skin and gives gentle embrace to the one who wears it. Although it’s quite strong at first and it also has very good staying power. In my opinion, Organza First Light is an easy and friendly scent. I prefer to wear it on casual and lazy days. Not my favorite one but still like it.

I never had opportunity to try this one for longer, but my first and only impression was really good. The scent occured to me delightful and luminous, with a very nice blend of honey and white flowers. It has the same warmth and feminine quality as the classic, but the sharp notes of spices were taken away. Lovely, but hard to get.

lighter and more adorable than the classic organza.the flower scents are clean and neat and modern.comparing organza first light with organza is like comparing the dolls of barbie with bratz!this is recognizable with simply looking at the bottles too.by the way I like this one more than organza.it makes me feel clean and safe.

I love the original Organza so much and I like to feel its smell all the time ! So Organza First Light was a great alternative for me, more versatile and subtle , but not less charming... the sweetness of this perfume simulates the sugar cane fragrance on my skin, envolved in a very elegant oriental scarf.

This is so beautiful. A light, fresh, yet creamy floral and a wonderful version of Organza. The honeysuckle, benzoin, vanilla are prominent but sheer and light. Woody, but not extremely so.

A sweet floral perfume with a prominent note of honeycuckle. Very 80ies style. A little bit heavy and more of a nighttime then daytimeperfume.

Not bad, if the original Organza is too intensive for you. But it became one of the army similar scents...
