I imagine that this is how heaven and angels smell. MAGICAL!!! HEAVENLY!!! THIS IS FEMININITY AND CLASS IN THE BOTTLE! I have been postponing this review, because I wanted to find the right words to describe this miracle... and I feel, that i still can not do the appropriate tribute to the most beautiful fragrance for women in this world! So I will just emotionally give names, that come to my mind regarding this perfume: feminine, sensual, seductive, elegant, sophisticated, tender, attractive, charming, pompous, luscious, luxurious, bombastic, powerful, unique, opulent, exclusive, one in a million. I don't want to use expression sexy, although this perfume is like a magnet. Sexy in this fragrance is not cheap sexy, Organza is sophisticated, elegant, grown up woman. Organza is the embodiment of godess, Fairy Queen, White witch, Queen of Wonderland, Queen Cleopatra, old hollywood glamour movie star. The first few minutes after spraying are literally overpowing. This is such a power bomb that it needs an hour to calm down into its beautiful, magical, charming, intoxicating symphony of white flowers - creamy gardenia, charming tuberose, beautiful jasmine, peony and bergamot on the base of spicy nutmeg, beautifully prominent walnut, amber and woods, sweetened and softened by the veil of sweet vanilla. Organza is sweet, floral, spicy and woody, slightly green. It's a special occasion perfume, best in cooler weather. This fragrance has no equal in the world of perfumes! It is almost forgotten and very overlooked, yet it is a masterpiece that should be on a pedestal. I first sniffed Organza in university, when one of my roomates used to spray herself with her mother ́s Organza, and I remember, that I thought, that once, in the future, when I will earn regular salary, this is on my shopping list. But time passed by, life happened, since that time milllion new fragrances has been introduced and I forgotten completely. Then, 25 years later on a perfume shopping spree, I blind ordered Organza. I had very, very distant memory, that it was something I liked once, very long time ago. And BINGO! It is even more beautiful, as I remember. Much more beautiful! Needless to say, my nose is more refined today and I can appreciate fragrances from different perspective. I have to say, that I have both vintage version, and new reformulated version. It's a real shame that Givenchy messed up the original formula, because the bottle and original perfume is a masterpiece. I will probably add to this review, because I still think that my emotions about Organza has not been expressed for more than 20%. It is so majestic!

This perfume is incredibly beautiful, just like the lovely, elegant, sinuous and graceful Grecian lady bottle that it's in. I feel like a beautiful high priestess at a Grecian temple when I'm wearing this! The opening nutty and slightly spicy nutmeg is a real treat to the senses and it doesn't overwhelm my nose. It adds an extra facet to this lovely slightly Oriental white floral perfume. I then smell the gardenia and African Orange Flower in the top notes, giving it a lovely creaminess with a slight zing. The other notes at the top don't come through to me. The heart notes are then all about the tuberose, honeysuckle and mace to me. The honeysuckle (the strongest note in this perfume for me) gives it that sweetness, the mace gives it that slightly spicy tinge that is similar but softer than nutmeg and the tuberose makes this a big and bombastic white floral. The tuberose doesn't overtake the other notes, but it's definitely the most prominent here. I don't smell the other notes in the heart, meaning it's probably just blended very well. Finally, I can smell the vanilla, the amber and the guaiac wood at the base all melding perfectly together, creating a beautiful, warm, cozy and slightly sweet vanillic base, without things going into awful gourmand sugar cookie territory. It's not super spicy or fruity either. It is classic, grown-up and beautiful smelling. No old lady vibes here too. This perfume has a fairly large and strong projection and it lasts about 10 hours on my skin. I could imagine it being especially appropriate for going on dinner dates, going to galas, going to the theater or any other nighttime events. Especially if I could have that gorgeous long, white organza dress that Yasmeen Ghauri is wearing in the advert, looking like a beautiful Grecian queen. (I'm so getting a skilled seamstress to remake that dress for me, so I can wear it while wearing this perfume!) It's a very sexy, bombastic, sensual, feminine and va va voom perfume that I could imagine someone like Raquel Welch or Sophia Loren wearing. Absolutely stunning composition and I highly recommend this to everyone, especially to those who want something that smells like nothing else on the market right now and is unique. 9/10!

I agree with all the odes written to praise Organza. It's soft, yet strong. Bold, yet delicate. Sophisticated, yet passionate. There isn't much I can add to the loving reverence and reverie. Personally, I think this is the perfume that has the best gardenia note, one of the most beautiful vanillas (sorry Organza, but Shalimar really is a strong competitor in this regard) and my favorite interpretation of spices. There are other perfumes that do spices really, really well, but I suppose one has to be the best. Maybe I chose Organza's nutmeg and mace because they're notable, but not domineering. They don't turn her into a gourmand, don't make me think about Christmas, which isn't inherently a bad thing, but I adore how they just add dimension without setting a theme. As to the gardenia - yes, there are a lot of other fragrances that contain a beautiful gardenia. Again, this one is just my personal favorite. Just like the spicy notes it adds dimension, but it's not overbearing. Honeysuckle is another very noteworthy scent in Organza. It permeates everything else, ties in with the stronger notes and the serious ones sitting at the base and helps to render the fragrance's sweetness and woodiness into a lightweight, airy component. Organza is bold and strong, but she doesn't weigh you down, she's uplifting and reassuring, never boorish or simple-minded. I remember her from the 90s, when my mom had it and it smelled wonderful on her, so even though I was still very young, I had to try it and she let me! I had to get used to how strongly Organza projected. I feel, in the time that has passed since then, I grew to fit this scent better. Bought myself a new bottle a couple of years ago and figured it might be better to only wear her in cooler weather, but because I love this fragrance so much, I did give it a try in the summer as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't too much at all. To be honest, all the accords just shine in warm weather, they connect to your body and feel natural in a way, always well composed. To me this is now a perfume I can wear all year round. Happy!

Olfactory perception is a truly fascinating subject to consider while diving into the endlessly giving world of perfumery. Our sense of smell often jumps neural circuits in lieu of other sensory passageways. And because of these transient impulses, we are able to receive odors as not only emotionally memorable, but also in ways that associate scents with color, numbers, or textures. As I sit with my blotter at half mast, I am reminded of this phenomenon. How to express Organza in a way that doesn't discuss the deft title itself? I've been deliberating on an avenue of discussion for sometime. Lacking any more clarity in the matter, I thought it best today, to describe it just as it manifests in my mind, and hope the rest will sort itself in the capable hands of the reader. Early in, a veil of soft florals, as if caught aloft with warm currents of velvet soft wood, breeze by. Arid and intangible; sheer curtains come alive with each ivory breath from wind swept inwards. A dance begins as cashmere kisses, so soft with feminine transparency, illuminate sultry skies. Tuberose, jasmine and gardenia only whisper by, almost unrecognizable in this form, they step back into the distance, until their images become silhouettes nodding in vanilla and nutmeg. Every moment capable of mighty insurrection, yet entirely satisfied to remain aloof. Warm, sensual waves of suggestion, like stepping into a gauze draped dream world, serene and soft. To call it anything but Organza, would be to deny the very nature of Sophie's creation. Ever evolving evocations of light and air combine into a delicately divine surrender. A celebration in the fruitful expanse of womanhood, and a provocation of peace.

The bottle is the prettiest I have ever seen! The cap is the cherry on top. Looking at this masterpiece is enough to make you smile! I bought a used bottle that was 30% full because I wanted to try the fragrance and give it enough wears to form an opinion. My version must be newer since no part of the bottle is frosted. It is 100% clear glass. The scent is just as stunning as the bottle it is housed in. Upon wearing it for the first time, I realised it was quite soapy. It was a very pleasant surprise since I appreciate soapy perfumes. It stills smells very expensive and classy, though. It is also slightly nutty with a hint of spice and vanilla. There is also a "perfumey" note to it which I can describe as smelling like a very well-blended perfume. Like a perfume where you cannot pick out any individual note because they are mixed so well in order to create the final scent. There is just a hint of that. The drydown is less soapy and more toned down. It does not change that much on my skin. Overall, it is a warm scent great for autumn and winter. Performance is above average. It projects for about 3 hours before turning into a skin scent for another 4 hours. However, it could definitely be a tad stronger. Surprisingly, I can get away with overspraying this - 10 to 12 sprays. Perhaps the juice in my bottle has lost some of its power over time. Newer, fresher bottles will probably perform even better. I am not sure why I love this so much. I would actually repurchase it despite having a ton of other fragrances to try. I will keep both the empty bottle and the box. They are gorgeous. I used to have a bottle of this. I bought it after I met someone in passing and it smelled amazing on her. This was a while back, too. It still smelled recognizable and pretty good on me, but I never wore it often. Organza is one of those rare instances where I love the white florals. I remember it being so smooth and intoxicating. Worn lightly, I can see this as a spring scent, or for winter when you need something fresh in cold air. I know everyone's rec'd this for fall, and I guess you could, but this feels so opposite of everything I'd want in a fall frag. I agree that it's too much for summer-- if you live someplace warm, make sure you're wearing this when you know you'll be in the AC. All that said, I did eventually pass this bottle on, and now I kinda wish I hadn't. The sillage and projection were incredible and it lasted so long. It was a really nice, big bottle, and I just didn't feel as though I used it enough (ha! silly past me). I think I'd only blind buy rec this to someone who knows they like white florals and who really enjoys gardenia. That's what I remember most about it, is how easily it resonated with my memories of the real smell. I do think that stranger I met wore it better, but it was still good, and this frag is a classic for a reason. It's elegant and powerful without being abrasive, and I always appreciated that. I don't know that I'll ever buy a whole new bottle, since I still don't think I would use it very often, but I'd pick up a decant in a heartbeat. Good memories, this one.

I knew I loved Organza because I smelled in Ulta years ago when they still sold it, but I didn't buy a bottle. My husband didn't like it and my signatures at that time were YSL Opium and Elizabeth Arden's Red Door. I dabbled in other perfumes here and there but always remained true to my signatures. I've had this perfume in the back of my mind for years and now I have a bottle. Organza is probably one of the prettiest tuberose perfumes ever made. It rivals my beloved Moon Bloom and at a much better price. Heady, voluptuous and still delicate, tender and soft at the same time. Organza opens w/ a blast of slightly camphor greenness, the smell of wet green stems of tuberose and peony that have been crushed under foot. As the fragrance develops, I get tuberose w/ its buttery animalic sensuality. Tuberose is a flower that I never tire of and every time I smell a tuberose perfume done right, I am in heaven. As the perfume goes along it becomes more vintage smelling w/ bouquets of florals. Honeysuckle, peony (peony done right like it is here is a treasure) they shine here w/ their tender girlish charm. Gardenia, tuberose, and jasmine come in w/ cream, white and gold enough to make any floral lover swoon. Subtle spices of nutmeg and mace along w/ a slightly oily walnut make this a beautiful floral perfume to wear in winter. Opulent, womanly, voluptuous, but still delicate and tender. Vintage Glory at its best. I am so glad to finally have a bottle of this beautiful fully feminine fragrance in my collection.

The first few times I tested it, I disliked the dense vanilla sweetness. However Givenchy Organza has grown on me considerably since I first received my decant. An enveloping cloud of soft spices accompanied by a bouquet of thick, carnal tuberose, jasmine, and orange flower. The base is a deep, savory vanilla note with soft amber and subtle woody touches. This perfume is a bit heady and sweet for my taste so I cannot wear it often, but it smells sophisticated, decadent, and unapologetically feminine. Absolutely gorgeous in the cold weather, it surrounds me in a cloak of much needed warmth. I disagree with a lot of these reviews, I do not think it smells old fashioned in the slightest. I'd be inclined to say Organza is a superior alternative to many designer/niche releases I've tried. This is essentially a more realistic and refined version of modern white floral releases like Armani My Way or Givenchy L'Interdit... half the calories, with better texture and longevity as well. Givenchy still manufactures this scent for a reason. They could probably repackage this perfume, stick it in the exclusive collection, charge $250 a pop, and people would be none the wiser. It's luxurious, classy, and smells far more expensive than it is. A true 'rich auntie' perfume. The bottle looks incredible too, it reminds me of ancient Venus sculptures.

There’s nutmeg, and then there is NUTMEG. This is not the dash of nutmeg that makes creamed spinach sing. This is a sweet pastry nutmeg that says holiday to me. Organza demands attention and is not a casual wear. It’s absolutely gorgeous, but I find I really have to be in the mood for it. Somehow it manages to be cozy and elegant at the same time. I love gardenia and this is possibly my favorite non-soliflore deployment of it. A delicate dab of the splash is much more enjoyable to me than a spray, which can create an unwieldy blast radius. Perfect for a holiday cocktail party or as a mood booster. I would love to smell this on a confident man — I bet it would be impressive. IMO the bottle is off-puttingly cheesy. The perfume and bottle do not match, at all. I have both the vintage spray and splash. 8/24 — I’m not sure if my spray EdP bottle has macerated or if I’ve gotten acclimated, but the nutmeg note is not as strong as it was previously, and some of the softer florals — the peony and the honeysuckle — have shown more in recent wearings. Love this stuff. 12/24 — I hate the way this smells on clothes the next day. It almost makes me gag. Have no explanation for this fact, but I’d recommend keeping it on skin, only.

Forgive me all you lucky souls that had this in the '90, but for me this is still a masterpiece! I have the newer version and can't get enough of it, and this happens to be one of my most complimented perfumes! It pulls very floral - gardenia, jasmin and honeysuckle cuddling in a big bed of vanila and amber! Timeless, effortless elegance, simple but striking! Unfortunately, when I was a child and this perfume came out my mom couldn't afford it, those were some heavy years. I was lusting over it, seeing the beautiful commercial in every fashion magazine. Nobody in my town had money for French perfume so I have no scent memory connected to this fragrance. But when I sniffed the newer version some years ago I had to have it. It's a true universal floral, good for casual and formal, day and night. It is beautiful in the heat, just not +40 (nothing is good for that heat). If blooms, it is sweet but in a cosy way. Bottle is perfection. Silage is arms length and it lasts. People usually tell me I smell deliciously and floral at the same time when I wear this. If this version is so good I cannot imagine what kind of masterpiece the older one is ❤️

Organza does not give off a professional boss vibe but a very sensual classy woman (dreamy, heady white floral in the opening – honeysuckle and gardenia are the most distinctive notes), and then when you get to know her more, as the scent transforms, you will find a true confident woman underneath who knows what she wants, is independent, authentic, wise with emotional maturity (spicy woody creating that character). Mature sass with class I would describe, and that is what I call 'sexy' and who I aspire to be like. She does not need to wear too revealing or fancy clothes to get attention but rather draws people in as who she is and with her magnetic aura. If you know tarots, this would represent the 9 of pentacles and the Judgement (rather than nurturing and motherly Empress). Organza is more grown (notice I do not use the word old), grounded, solid, and serious while Boudoir is younger and adolescent, smells pink, more aromatic, a lil naughty, and makeup-ey; hence I find Organza to be a lot sexier (I love Boudoir but never find it sexy nor skanky / animalic). I am seriously in LOVE with this fragrance.

I was fortunate to snap up a near full vintage bottle (crackle patterned cap and frosted glass body) of this in perfect condition and I’ve had it a couple of years. This year I’ve been all about the florals. On a cold spring day - the kind of early spring day that’s colder than winter - I decided to resample. There’s a thickness and warmth immediately, a rich apricotty type fragrance followed quickly by a mellow spicy nutmeg (oh how I love nutmeg far above a cardamom note) that adds some heat without overpowering things like true pepper can. Golden orange blossom and a boozy candied syrup note weaves through. I get hints of greenery that feel almost stemmy helping to break up the sweetness somewhat. And a mellow spiced vanillic dry down that thankfully never smells too literal in the food direction. My bottle is a deeper red-orange. I recall the spice being much louder when the perfume was in its heyday. Far too floral for my young skin. Now it works and I’m able to appreciate it. Rather lovely for cool to cold days.

im in love . people throw timeless around a lot but this one will always get new fans because of its complexity . ive tried the older versions and loved the scent profile, but the one i own is a recent one from dillards and its much lighter in projection but honestly im okay with that, i find more occasions to wear it than i thought i would get with a vintage bottle . at first spray its sappy and a bit heady from the orange flower and nutmeg . the white floral arrangement comes in animalic and loud but the small dose of peony+iris keep it tame . the ending smells like palo santo and amber (and surely sandal and at least some civet) bringing this coziness to it . theres a certain skin-like indolic tenderness to it, as if the white flowers have been baked in the sun two people who know me well have said: “this matches your skin” and “it smells like you” . this actually does reminds me of the scent of silk when its a little bit wet or freshly pressed . the song it reminds me of is rilkean heart by cocteau twins

Eternal longevity, beast mode projection when oversprayed - an achievement considering Organza never feels particularly heavy or dense to wear. Such a beautiful vanilla-tinged floral. I’m not a fan of the most recent flatter formulation, so my opinion is on the vintage version of this juice. Creamy, sumptuously rounded, spiced ripe florals. The flowers in this are so ripe, they’re almost apricot jammy. The nutmeg isn’t overbearing and the bergamot offers just the right amount of bounce to the amber composition. A classic for good reason. Doesn’t dry down soapy on me at all. Despite Organza’s vintage-ness, it doesn’t come across as old fashioned or overly powdery from the iris. Still smells relevant and there’s something about this that has the same ‘nose-buried into my arm’ effect that Dior’s Addict has on me. I reserve this for Autumn/Winter eves when I want something elegant and comforting. Perfume Parlour does a very good dupe of the vintage formula. I prefer that over the current formulation of Organza.

Beautiful, classy and elegant! Please note I bought a vintage formula. The bottle makes you think the perfume will be overwhelming and feminine, but I find this to be actually mild, timeless and dries rather unisex to me. It has a very green floral opening, the nutmeg to my nose is like a soft cinnamon smell. There is an underlying powdery quality, that stays throughout that feels very rich. In the opening, at first spray I am briefly reminded of Amarige by Givenchy and LouLou by Cacharel due to the kind of Tuberose used, but as it settles the unique qualities start to come out. There is also something about this that hints Pi from Givenchy, but very vaguely. It leads more towards being a simple version of LouLou and the projection on me is moderate. I do see how some people smell a root beer like quality to this, might be only the vintage formulas. Give it time to settle, there's a lot in the opening but I promise it becomes very mild to be honest. Classics are never outdated, only trends are!

I haven’t had the privilege to smell the old/original formulation, so this is my review for the current one. When I first smelled this, I was immediately inlove. It’s absolutely gorgeous! They don’t create perfumes like this anymore, so it stands out from the crowd. In saying so, it has a beautiful warmth and complexity that are only found in vintage perfumes.✨ At first spray, it is a very warm and deep and spicy tuberose. I definitely smell a rich tuberose mixed with nutmeg and amber. A few minutes later, the vanilla starts to come through. It is not an edible or overly sweet vanilla, but a classy and deep one. This fragrance overall is not too sweet at all, but it’s very enjoyable. Once it completely dries down, I get a creamy tuberose with a warm vanilla base. Also, this smells very expensive and classy! Love love love ! The longevity is very good on this one, and the sillage is also good but not enormous. Overall if you love tuberose in your fragrances then you MUST test organza out. 10/10

My mother had this when I was a child and I remembered it as too strong, too mature. A while back I rediscovered it from an old bottle of hers, and boy was I wrong. Ever since, I can't get enough of this. It feels like a warm embrace, a homecoming I didn't know I was missing. The vanilla and amber are so balanced, so enchanting. It's a very sophisticated, yet seductive scent. My first instinct was to only wear it as an evening scent, but I enjoy it too much to keep it for special occasions. It's turning into my signature scent, and I'm finding it can fit in any season, day or night with the right style and attitude. It just suits who I am. One spray on the wrists and one spray on the neck is already plenty. With this one, less is definitely more. Edit: The bottle I have is the Gold collection, and I just discovered the notes are different (simplified), not just the packaging. I sure hope the original won't be too different, as the Gold collection is very difficult to find, and very expensive.

Lo avevo provato nel 96 di sfuggita e ricordo che mi era piaciuto. Ma dopo quella volta non lo ho mai più sentito. Poi giorni fa mi è capitato un tester del 98 e lo ho preso. E' meraviglioso,speziato e pungente in modo meraviglioso,caldo,esotico,mi ricorda Jungle di Kenzo,è molto carnale,il cuore floreale è denso e non fa l'effetto "fiori bianchi sintetici" che usano oggi, è un impasto che sulla pelle esala calore e sensualità. Credo che fra le spezie ci siano anche cardamomo e coriandolo,una fragranza che vedo bene in questo periodo,le feste natalizie e il pieno inverno. Portandolo tutto il pomeriggio ho notato che cambia spesso; ci sono momenti in cui da lontano può ricordare Tresor, oppure Tuscany, ma appena credi di aver capito,senti che non è vero, ha odori animali,densi, profumo di tuberosa che appare verso metà dello sviluppo,spezie piccanti,cremosità. E' un profumo affascinante,pieno di sfumature,con un cuore animale e selvatico.

Well I got this yesterday and what a surprise! This beauty opens with the perfect amount of indolic gorgeous white flowers, This and Gucci Bloom are perfectly balanced examples of white florals for beginners, for people starting out in this category. She opens with the most beautiful Arabian Jasmine and Gardenia and within a few minutes she settles into the vanilla, orange blossom and nutty walnut base and the sweetness from the honeysuckle. Overall this fragrance is a vanilla, jasmine gardenia perfume. 10/10! She is stunningly beautiful, a truly seductive and sensual fragrance. It’s so creamy, cozy and there is nothing over the top. Oh and I find you don’t have to be careful with spraying because it’s not to strong, it melts into your skin so well. Honestly haven’t enjoyed a fragrance this much in a long time also I love all the notes listed. I’m so glad I ordered a bottle because It’s a perfect perfume for the Autumn and Winter.

Organza by Givenchy is absolutely my favorite one: vanilla, african orange flower, nutmeg, walnut, gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, guaiac wood and amber. This fragrance will have a special place in my heart forever, it's the last fragrance I gave to my mother as a Christmas gift, and I smelled it during all the last year of her life. It's the representation of the woman in all her various faces: elegance, sensuality, womanliness, in a word MUM. I loved this fragrance. It's the first object I searched in my mother's wardrobe when she died, it's her last scent, her trace in my olfactive memory. Anytime I miss her, and it happens often in the last days, I can't restrain myself from sniffing it from the bottle that I will treasure forever. This the magic of perfumes. A fragrance can transfer you and your mind to the past. Love forever. Only two drops and it will last for all day long with an exceptional sillage and projection.

This is another perfume that smells better on my mom than me. I'm not saying this is old or dated, just better chemistry with my mom. And on her, this is extremely divine. Elegant, feminine, mature, a perfume for a goddess. Not sexy or flirty but womanly if you know what I mean. The opening notes are the allure for my nose. Gardenia, one of my fave flowers married gracefully with green notes that're intense but fresh, not like the decaying leaves I get from Chanel 19, sorry to say. The green here is that of spring, enveloping gardenia and then you have that magical pinch of nutmeg. I swear it smells like pistachio gardenia, amazing nutty flowery green. It is unique. And then the white flowers become more opulent and dry down elegantly too in ambery vanilla. It has moderate longevity but great sillage. I can smell it from 2m away. And I always compliment my mom whenever she wears this. Another win from Givenchy!

Mon Dieu !!! Alléliua les filles !!! Après des années l'avoir rangé au fonds de mon armoire pour incompatibilité d'humeur entre lui & moi... Hé bien ! Je l'ai ressorti et v'là t'y pas qu'il me va à merveille !! Il ne me donne plus la nausée et des migraines terribles !! Sur ma peau de vieille (59 ans en juin prochain !) il me fait des câlins jusqu'à mes narines !! Si ! Si ! Il a mûri lui aussi.... Il s'est ambré dans son flacon (la couleur pas la senteur).... Et sur la peau.... Holala !!! Un gardenia en majuscule !!! Le plus beau gardénia que j'ai pu sentir dans toute ma vie de femme.... Encore plus beau que dans le 24, Faubourg d'Hermès.... Un gardénia accompagné de notes florales comme la vanille, la tubéreuse, et cette fameuse noix de muscade que mes narines n'arrivaient pas à supporter.... De 1996 à 2024 elle s'est assagie.... LOL... En tout cas merci Organza d'être devenue mon amie.... tu es magnifique !!!

Timeless scent, memorable. I so despise all the smells like grandma and this is a mature scent comments. This is what real sophisticated perfume supposed to smell like. GIVENCHY is made in France for heavens sake!!!!! The one of the Best of the Best! You can be classy at 18 and 70. Good juice is good juice. The trail it leaves makes people turn their heads- from experience. To the young damsels, do not be afraid. Organza, this timeless masterpiece! This sensual and captivating creation! I say this often when I write an “old school” perfume review; wait for all the notes to appear otherwise you will miss out on many wonders... Here, we have a fragrance totally imbued with sensuality, a symphony of spicy flowers enhanced by a woody, oriental side, and sprinkled with delicate vanilla. Some will say that it is the perfume of an assertive woman, perhaps even of a femme fatale and that is true. Organza is a warm and strong fragrance but which remains soft and feminine. A gem ! I find the bottle sublime; I like bottles that are out of the ordinary and have their own originality. Just like the divine scents that the perfume leaves behind, it is immediately recognizable, no need to read its name, it is already on your lips...

Such an elegant scent! It opens up a bit sharp and powdery but as the day progresses it becomes more and more woody and soft. I love it. It's complex and unique, and doesn't feel dated at all. You can wear it in any setting and place; but I do think it performs best in colder weather, since it IS a strong fragrance, it might become suffocating in the heat. I always find it puzzling when some people say what you can wear or can't to the office/gym/school/etc. A person should wear whatever they want to wear. Organza (or any other perfume) is no exception. You can easily wear it to the office, a party, a movie date - your fragrance is your fragrance and as long as you don't overspray it to the point where it gives people around you migraines, you can wear it wherever and whenever.

The name may refer to a sheer fabric, but this scent is a thick OOZE of SENSUALITY with honeyed & spicy white-florals. Multi-faceted GARDENIA is the show opener here, presented in an enhancing white floral burst with nutmeg, orange-blossom and green nuances. I'm not usually a fan of gardenia, and can easily dislike a scent with too much gardenia, but the soft mushroom nuances of gardenia aren't off-putting here, as can sometimes be the case, but elevate the bouquet. The opening melds into a white-floral heart of TUBEROSE-JASMINE with velvety, powdery, honey, peppery & licorice-y nuances, all resting on a vanillic amber-woody base. I'm treasuring the last third of my vintage bottle. A little goes a long way. It's a longtime love for me. 10/10 for a rich amber-floral. Enjoy!

Organza is a perfect mix of florals and vanilla with soft spice and wood accords. It has a grounded quality, but also an ethereal touch that strives towards the skies. It combines strength with delicacy, directness with subtlety. Wearing it enhances my well-being and confidence - it's the cherry on top of the cake. Golden, soft, sophisticated, warm. Its timeless beauty and well-blended ingredients have made it a favorite of mine and certainly -the- perfume from Givenchy. My current bottle is from July 2021 and I can say the scent itself hasn't changed in any significant way compared to older versions. The longevity is good - lasts a good six hours on my skin, before it completely fades; sillage maybe not as strong as it used to be, but I'm fine with it. It's a love story.

Ahhh love... what can I say about this little marvel of a perfume. For me, this perfume has a very special place in the world of perfumery and truly takes its own place alongside the greatest. It is not an everyday perfume, nor a common scent, but a precious juice. Its for a romantic outing to the theater or to a nice restaurant. This perfume is truly very elegant. My bottle, my third, must be almost 20 years old now and still feels just as good. (I keep all my perfumes in a dark room) The juice has taken a beautiful amber color (thanks to the vanilla). I only wear it for special occasions, but I love it. I must say it has a beautiful story; the first time I bought it was when I met my husband. So this perfume will always have a very special place in my heart.

I'm starting to explore powerhouse perfumes from the 90s. The more I explore, the more I'm wondering, "Why do I spend so much money sampling expensive niche perfumes when unique, powerhouse perfumes were already here?" Organza is a decadent, luxurious, spicy masterpiece that exudes mystery and elegance without sacrificing sex appeal. The nutmeg and vanilla are right at the top. The dark, ambery woods are holding it down. This is what modern unisex perfumes are made of. I cannot get enough of this. I bought a vintage one from Ebay and they are not even hard to find. In time, these perfumes will become scarce but for now, I'll be collecting them. Maybe my spirit angel is in the 90s and for her, perfection was already done!

Organza by Givenchy is a masterful creation from 1996 by Sophie Labbé. I was lucky enough to find a magnificent bottle in a perfume shop in Rome which I jealously keep in my personal collection. Organza is an enchanting riot of white flowers among which emerge victorious: gardenia and tuberose accompanied by the freshest floral citrus notes of African orange blossom and the sour notes of bergamot, surprisingly immersed in a lively and unexpected cloud of nutmeg. The blend is strengthened on dry down with its enveloping woody notes, suffused with sweet but not gourmand vanilla, with sensual amber notes that give a grandiose creamy and powdery aftertaste of great charm. Amazing fragrance.

One of my favourite retro-oriental scents, because is less retro than others and really refreshing at the same time (due to iris maybe). I do believe that it's suitable for more personal occasions, especially romantic ones, yet it's neither a heavy fragrance nor only for winter. Suitable for older people or those who express maturity vibes. For many years, this perfume was not on the market - today there are a few and are overpriced. inspiration in words: "When passion screams and you can't express it, just wear this fragrance. One whiff and you'll feel it deep inside you. Suddenly, you've just entered an expensive bar that smells of whiskey and you tasted what is to follow..."

Voluptuous luxurious floriental. Organza is opulent yet delicate (think golden organza fabric), sensual yet classy, a gorgeous, stunning, and mature perfume with so much character. How many perfumes do you come across with notes of nutmeg and walnuts? I have a huge arsenal and very few have these notes. The creamy white florals have various facets: a bit spicy (nutmeg), a tad sweet (vanilla), nutty (walnut), green (green notes), warm and resinous (amber), and woodsy (guaiac). It is such a rich, warm and deep composition but the real magic starts when you smell it in the cold breeze of autumn or winter, it is absolutely enchanting and mesmerizing. Breathtaking beauty 😍🥰😘

This is a scent of nostalgia back to my youth years Jasmine ghoury posters inspired me as young thin dark haired girl to say that’s mine I bought it without any testing but I wasn’t wrong it was really mine it fitted me like a glove everybody use to ask me about specially in summer afternoons it was unique not similar to anything those days ,it was new and different compared to other perfumes that time the nutty woody smell combined with powdery notes wehn it cools down made everyone say mmm I smell something different what are you wearing?in my life I repurchased this iconic many many time until I start noticing that its not like before or maybe reformulated sadly.

A potent and long-lasting (lasted about 10 hours on me!) concoction of tuberose, gardenia, nutmeg, vanilla, amber and especially honeysuckle that lasts for ages on the skin! Organza is simply a 1990s classic fragrance and something I think that every woman needs in her fragrance wardrobe. I feel so womanly, successful and powerful when I wear a sensuous veil of this heavenly liquid from the gods. I want every other woman to experience that feeling too! It is a very classy fragrance. I have never been without this perfume since the 90's in high school and I don't plan to do so anytime soon. Simply stunning and why I'd give this perfume a perfect 5/5 stars :)

Totally agree with the other reviewers regarding the "woman who get things done" vibe. Way too strong for the office, but I'm digging it for the boss-b*tch vibe while teleworking :) Very strong, very 90's. It starts full blast white floral with a hint of nectar - predominantly honeysuckle and gardenia. Honeysuckle has a strong, dry nectar quality. Not sweet. The fragrance shifts into jasmine and vanilla. Again dry rather than sweet vanilla. During dry down, the jasmine calms down and the wood becomes more forward. Despite the notes of vanilla and nutmeg, this is absolutely not a gourmand. There is warmth but no sweetness.

One of the most feminine fragrances I have ever experienced. Very refined and elegant. A timeless classic which is not dated. Gardenia and tuberose are predominant and the jasmine and peony add to the delicate initial impression. What raises this fragrance out of the Ho hum floral category are the wood base notes which provide structure. This is a fragrance for romantic encounters. It is so feminine and lovely in its affect that it would be perfect for wearing a soft, full skirted dress, made with the fabric organza. Sillage and longevity are both moderate. I believe this is a safe blind buy and office appropriate.

One of the few oriental perfumes that I like. It.s not common,I smell menthol in it but in a good way, more like fresh sensation, gardenia,tuberose and woody powdery notes , I don t feel any vanilla in it. This give me a good mood when I use this. This one I think I will buy it again.It.s a great and unique perfume. It is not girly perfume at all, it's a vintage one that's why I don't see this perfume to be for this type of girls with fake hair, fake long eyelashes and instagram makeup but for a classy, elegant and sophisticated lady, something like Audrey Hepburn style or like the models of Ralph Lauren from 1980.

Very pleasing soft-spicy white floral. The nutmeg and gardenia go together like grated nutmeg on a baked rice pudding. Makes me think of wearing white ... not sure where the organza element is meant to stem from though, but I suppose that isn't important. I find this to be surprisingly underrated, especially given that milky creamy white florals are pretty 'in' right now (see the various Kilian and, to an extent, Kayalis on the US market). Fine by me though, as this one is still easy to source despite being sort of half in half out of production from what I can see. Rice pudding gardenia... who'd've thought!

I forgot to add that the Jasmine in this fragrance is Arabian Jasmine. I’m very picky what kind of jasmine is used in perfume because it’s a very particular scent, the jasmine they use in this fragrance is amazing! I used to wear the pure essential oil mix with Jojoba oil and roll it on, it was so beautiful and so much better then regular jasmine. They say Star Jasmine is the best but I prefer Arabian variety. Such a difference in quality. Most of the jasmine we get in fragrances is from India and that is really nice but Egyptian and Arabian has something special about it, it just smells better. ❤️❤️

One of the most beautiful scents I've ever smelled, an instant favorite. It's deep, rich, and elegant, so lovely and timeless. I think it's more suited towards evening wear, and to my nose the woody nutmeg spiciness makes it best for cold weather, but to me it's too delightful to limit when I wear it honestly, it's great for any time. Good longevity and sillage too, has quickly become a staple in my fragrance collection. I believe I have one of the original vintage, as my bottle has crackles on the lid, but I'm interested in trying the more modern formulations as well, I hope they hold up!

I have always loved Organza & never without a bottle of the eau de parfum, the last bottle purchased has a batch code of 9E01 denoting 2019? after spraying I detect a fleeting nail polish remover note (acetone) followed with a protracted drydown of predominately jasmine, I'm picking up synthetic jasmin or a mix of oils, not sure also the newer batches aren't as musky as older iterations, just my sense of the contents of this bottle, may be it's from 10 years before making this a 2009 offering, it's hard to tell, did I mention JASMINE????? would luv to try the pure parfum...

Smells like a VERY rich sexy grandma who lives in a Beverly Hills mansion, in a good way!!, very mature, powdery, woody, old fashioned white floral fragrance, and also gives me 60s Marilyn Monroe, Priscilla Presley vibes, definitely a night out scent to go to a very fancy dinner, not really for every day wear, feel like this would be great for women who are 50+, not that that's a bad thing. Also reminds me of chanel no 5 a bit, Chanel no 5 is ALOT more stronger and 20 times more powdery though, like an upgraded version and even older version of organza

Organza is the new love of my life! I don't know why I waited so long to try it, I feel like I've missed out on a world of floral beauty. I can't even pick out all the individual notes, but they all come together to create something magical. And can we talk about the bottle? It's like something out of my 90s dreams, I can't get enough of it. Even though I'm an ordinary girl, every time I wear it I feel like a sophisticated lady. I can see myself wearing it to a fancy dinner or lounging on the couch, I'm not sure I can go back to my old perfumes.

Wow wow wow. I was slightly afraid when ordering this because I’m a 20 year old and worried that the spiciness in the notes would remind me of my grandmother. That spicy does come out in the first few moments after spraying but then it’s just this wonderful floral warmth that makes me feel like curling up on an old rocking chair with a book in fall. Cozy and warm yet feminine and floral that doesn’t allow it to go to musky and remain clean. Definitely suited for fall and winter to me but I think it could be layered to accommodate more seasons.

New signature. Period. Incredible beauty!!! A fragrance from a time when trees could walk and animals could speak and colorful personalities who were so full of life and realness were my elders. Who were unfailingly kind and who i always looked upto. Artistic and inspiring and humorous. Warmhearted. All the best of my childhood in the 90's, bottled. And on top of all of that, it's an absolutely gorgeous refined, sensual and timeless floral with mood enhancing qualities adding to a vibrant lifegiving atmosphere wherever it's presence is felt.

My review is of the vintage formula. This is a very powerful fragrance! For me I get strong powdery nutmeg, orange blossom, and a very green tuberose smell. It smells very opulent, rich and mature. Although people say it smells ‘feminine’ there is something about it that has a heavy masculine quality to it. It has a warm quality when it radiates. The projection and longevity is massive for the original formula. This perfume stains clothing a pink/peach so spray at a good distance. The bottle is iconic!

I finally got a new, full bottle almost a year after my initial review. The weather was colder today which made me so happy. It meant I could finally wear my favourite butterfly. While I remember this being better, I still enjoy it. Performance wise, though, this is a beast. I kept smelling it on myself for 6 hours straight. The warmth of my skin seemed to amplify it since it barely faded after 3 hours of continuous physical activity. Use it very carefully! The bottle is still my favourite.

It's amazing! I don't know how I didn't smell it before. But yesterday, in a perfume shop, I was practically led to it, and after a spray on a blotter, I sprayed on my wrist. Wow! Just wow! White flowers, a bit of vanilla and a bit of nutmeg. After about 5 hours, it was still there, less opulent than in the beginning, but still awesome. Soooo... I ordered it online. I can't wait for it to arrive! It will be my new favourite, that's for sure! It has some similarities with Amarige.

Opulent, heady tuberose and gardenia, vanillic, nutty, and slightly cinnamony/clovey. Warm, sensual, and womanly, and slightly sweet in a syrupy but not sugary way. Also a bit powdery. This feels very romantic and mature, perfect for date nights and fancy occasions on fall and winter nights. Organza could be an older sister to JPG Classique, or a more night-time appropriate flanker of it. I have a vintage miniature that used to be my mom’s and it’s so cute.

This is so beautiful that I don’t even know what I would write about this. This is very nutty, really milky, a little even sour in milkiness, but never nauseous like some nutty scent can be. Jasmin and spices are just right here. This is not strong vanilla sweet, but rich, honeyd in white flowers. Still not over creamy or buttery like some tuberoses can be. This scent is something that makes me speechless. Sophie Labbe must be genius! I think.
