This one surprised me. I was planning to pass on it, as some of the notes just didn’t appeal, however the company sent me a free sample with my order and it was an instant love! This is actually my favourite out of the collection and I’ll likely buy a back up bottle! I’d never tried Gleam before, but I now have the full Villeggiatura Collection! Each scent is super unique and takes you on a journey in the heat of summer sun. This is Domenica for me - You’re on holiday and have been relaxing in the summer sun on the beach all day. It’s maybe late afternoon/early evening, but it’s still really warm outside. You’ve just put on a clean cotton dress or shirt, but you smell remnants of your suntan lotion as you pack your stuff up for the day. You’re catching the last of the sunshine, walking along the beach while the sun sets. You can also smell the salty sea water on your skin and through your hair, while you breathe in the ocean. Domenica is the mix of smells you get in this moment. It’s a cotton fresh, oceanic (without being aquatic) scent. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s a clean cotton with a beautiful uniqueness. My boyfriend instantly smelt this as soon as he got home from work (two rooms away!). His instant reaction was “it smells really good in here!” So the sillage and projection on this scent is strong, but overall very relaxing with an ocean freshness. I absolutely adore it! 10/10! I love every scent from this entire collection that I now own them all. My favourites (in this order) are: #1 "Scottatura | Gleam" - A unique aloe Vera, green tea and ocean breeze. UPDATE (June 2025) - Ive already used 1/2 of my bottle and have a back up on the way! I wear it daily for work as a Nurse. It’s light and amazingly cooling in heat! Out of my full collection of over 100 fragrances, this is my ultimate favourite currently. I just can’t get enough of it! #2 "Domenica | Gleam" - The one I thought I wouldn’t like. A relaxing, solar/ocean breeze and clean cotton scent. Stunning! Also nothing like Cocoyster which is awful! #3 "Cocco Bello | Gleam" - A beautiful coconut water and banana scent. Also very relaxing. Shared #4: "Afa | Gleam" (the most unique one. It creates the scene for me of sitting with a glass bottle of Coca Cola, surrounded by flowers in the summer heat, sounds weird but it’s a must try. It’s addictive!), "Camporella | Gleam" (hay, camomile tea & wild flowers) & "Gelatino | Gleam" (An ice cream cone dipped in hazelnuts, melting from start to finish. Amazing dry down!) To me these are olfactory masterpieces! I have reviewed every one of these in depth. I highly recommend trying these. Well done Gleam! This scent is very dream like. It smells like what I think the sun from Teletubbies would smell like. It definitely smells like something familiar but I can't figure out what that is. Very sweet with an artificial quality to it and if yellow had a scent, this would be it.

I’m desperately trying to wait for people to review this and not to blind buy half the collection! I wish there was a discovery set! 😩

I am THIS close to scrubbing this and this rarely happens to me. Salt and petrichor and very chemical, not well balanced for me.

I love the notes, but the combination here isn’t working for me. I’m getting a harsh, chemical smoke drowning out a strong balsamic green. There’s a modest ammonia in the background- definitely not pleasant for me. It had a smell reminiscent of a commercial grade cleaner to me.
