Scottatura

I have been so impressed with the Villeggiatura collection, that I now own every one. I have reviewed them all in depth, so hope these are helpful to someone. I was expecting Scottatura to be my least favourite and a boring Aloe Vera scent, but I was wrong! Scottatura is gorgeous! It opens with a fresh burst of Aloe Vera and Green tea, with the ocean breeze in the background. The notes remain throughout, but become a little mellower as it dries down. I wouldn’t call it an aquatic scent at all. It just has a slight ocean breeze vibe. This scent is incredibly comforting, soothing, fresh, clean, calming and relaxing! I absolutely adore it! I can’t wait to wear this on a really hot summers day! I’ve also since smelt “Ghost in the shell” and this smells nothing like that one. I also own After Sun which I liked until I smelt this! This is soo much nicer! This and Dominica are the two fragrances out of this collection. I will 100% repurchase them! My favourites from the collection currently (Feb 2025) are: #1 "Scottatura | Gleam" - A unique aloe Vera, green tea and ocean breeze. UPDATE (June 2025) - Ive already used 1/2 of my bottle and have a back up on the way! I wear it daily for work as a Nurse. It’s light and amazingly cooling in heat! Out of my full collection of over 100 fragrances, this is my ultimate favourite currently. I just can’t get enough of it! #2 "Domenica | Gleam" - The one I thought I wouldn’t like. A relaxing, solar/ocean breeze and clean cotton scent. Stunning! #3 "Cocco Bello | Gleam" - A beautiful coconut water and banana scent. Also very relaxing. Shared #4: "Afa | Gleam" (the most unique one. It creates the scene for me of sitting with a glass bottle of Coca Cola, surrounded by flowers in the summer heat, sounds weird but it’s a must try. It’s addictive!), "Camporella | Gleam" (hay, camomile tea & wild flowers) & "Gelatino | Gleam" (An ice cream cone dipped in hazelnuts, melting from start to finish. Amazing dry down!) Well done Gleam! Every scent from this entire collection is an olfactory masterpiece!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, very rich, long-lasting - over 12 hours. This extract calms me down, I'm in love on the 2nd day 🥰

Not a huge fan of floral scents but this one has a nice nostalgic vibe that reminds me of playing in the sprinkler during summer as a kid. I likely won’t buy a bottle of it but I enjoyed using the sample I had during my friend’s wedding weekend. It was a good addition for spring activities.

I'm impressed by this collection's ability to evoke exactly what they describe as the inspiration behind the fragrance. This one doesn't just smell like aloe vera, it smells like the feeling of aloe vera when you've freshened up after a day of play and you're coming inside to wind down because the sun made you tired. It's a beautiful summer fragrance!
