Lilyhaze Body Spritz

oh lilyhaze, you were glossier's ugly duckling they don't like to talk about. this was super hyped for the holiday launch and i like a vanilla so i got it without thinking too hard. i really like it - the notes are blended and not super complicated in the first place, a candied apricot meets ambery vanilla, with maybe the idea of the warmth of ginger? but honestly, this one made no sense in the glossier fragrance story. all the Yous, as well as orange blossom neroli and sandstone, had a specific identity in the brand story, but this one was kind of like "oh well we also make a straightforward gourmand!" otherwise, it technically performs fine - frankly it performs better than the orange neroli blossom body spray in terms of sillage. i was also guilty of grabbing multiples when the price cratered because frankly, i don't see this coming back...

This is the weirdest yet most intriguing perfume lol. The blend is VERY muddled so you never quite get a true vanilla or a true apricot and you DEFINITELY don't get any amber that's for sure! Yet, despite this, Lilyhaze is still so intriguing. There is just something soft and gentle about it that leaves you beckoning for more. If you're wondering what this actually smells like it, imagine if Heavy Cream from Phlur did not have that distinct sourness to it. Lilyhaze is pretty much just Heavy Cream minus the sourness! I'm glad I got it. But I definitely think it makes sense that this was a limited edition fragrance from Glossier. The projection is about as good as any other body spray. An hour, maybe two TOPS. Sileage is quite quiet though. Rating: 6.5/10

I actually am so surprised by this. At first I didnt like it because I felt it was too powdery but as it settles it grew on me, and for a body mist it is actually very performative. Yes it is powdery but it is quite sweet, I get more of a peachy apricot skin scent but strong skin scent. I cant comparebit to another scent because it is quite unique to my collection but I would say if you like scents like JHAG you will probably like this too.

This is gross and unbalanced reminds me of expired dollar store body spray.

None of the notes come through with this scent, not even the vanilla. It smells like melted plastic, both on my skin and on paper tester. Not sure what I'm going to do with this bottle since I wouldn't even gift it to my enemy.

Score. Update: Received today (in 2 days),and I reallllly like this! Its surprisingly sweet for Glossier and reminds me alot of Phlurs Vanilla Nectar so far but without the extreme 'cotton candy' sweetness in VN. Its still sweet tho. The tigerlily is pretty and not *too* floral although it does seem to get a bit more floral after drydown and after some of the initial sweetness burns off. The amber comes thru! It seems pretty strong as well and my guy said "yeah this is one of *those* you like" lol and that he could really detect the vanilla. So overall, I'm very pleased with this absolute steal!!

Very interesting smell. Very amber forward, almost peppery. Definitely a winter fragrance. The name throws me off. Lasts for a while as well. Its honestly delicious. Kind of has everything in it because it’s giving an edge of fruit at the end that lasts, but also almost floraly. Everything and the kitchen sink in this one and I like it.

I thought based off the name I wouldn't like this, and that it would be super floral-- so I didn't pay it any mind when I saw everyone on reddit freaking out about the $1 glitch!! Looking at it now, it looks so up my alley, I'm so sad I missed it ;-; :''''((((

Something about this is so nasty to me. Its too sweet and musky to be clean but not well blended enough to be a gourmand. My family said after I sprayed it they could smell it the next day. Someone is getting this for Christmas.
