Lartigue

A perfect spring and summer perfume. Of all the Goest perfumes I've tried (I bought the sample set after smelling a couple in a perfume shop in New Orleans), this one may be my favorite & perhaps a future full bottle investment. It's bright and full of light. The peach is immediate and bursting and bold, but it's not a sugary peach and it's not overpowering. Very fresh, although I don't necessarily get "green" or "ozone" on my skin. The peach/fruit notes are vibrant and matched by the citrus. It's incredibly gender versatile too. I see this both as a sexy femme summer day perfume & reinterpretation of a masc sporty cologne. What's so nice is how familiar it is, yet there is a uniqueness and imagination to this scent. Despite the luscious notes, it's top-heavy and settles down into something nice, with warm woods rising up. Some slightly soapy settle-down notes, but not in a bad way at all. I love how clean it is. SIllage is medium and longevity isn't the strongest. A solid 8/10.

I can smell a salty ozonic note, citrus and another fruit that isn’t citrus (peach, albeit a bit synthetic) Very clean and fresh, definitely a flattering warm weather wear. Longevity isn’t great as within 5 hours I start losing the frag. If anyone knows similar who has smelt this or by the notes even please inform me. I’d love to get something like this that lasts all day.

I purchased samples from the site and I'm surprised that anyone would describe this as "fresh"...my sample smells incredibly dusty and dank. Total scrubber. Maybe my sample is off?

While I like some of the fragrances from this house, this is not one of them. This smells like salty, pickled peaches (and a synthetic peach at that) with herbs and a bit of an ozonic vibe. Despite the sailboat on the bottle, I don't get anything aquatic, marine, or beachy; but I do get something akin to salt and vinegar. This is a pass.

This scent comes across as slightly more fresh and pleasant in the hand soap and lotion that I begrudgingly keep in my bathroom because the bottles are cute. I thought I'd give my sample of the EDT a try out of desperation to inject a tennis-whites-on-a-sailboat type vibe into my day and it really did not hit. This is a dark one: smells like damp wood and molded peaches, no salty/oceanic or ozonic notes at all.

super ozonic and expansive, smells a bit like a really fancy salon shampoo. i definitely get the peach in this but it's so well-blended with the woods that i wouldn't have identified it as peach before looking at the notes.
