Pacific Rock Moss is so green it made me consider photosynthesis as a lifestyle choice. One spray in, and suddenly I’m a rugged lumberjack who vacations exclusively at coastal national parks. It smells like a forest that heard the ocean was hiring and decided to move closer for better benefits. The opening is a blast of lemon - not the polite kind you garnish water with, but the kind that slaps you awake and tells you to build a canoe. Behind it comes a full supporting cast of moss, cedar, and sage, all sharp, crisp, and aggressively outdoorsy. If this scent had a Tinder bio, it would just say “6'2”, owns flannel, chops wood recreationally.” As it settles, the green notes get even louder - like the trees formed a union and negotiated for more screen time. I left the room and came back five minutes later, and the scent was still there waiting for me like a loyal golden retriever made of pine needles. The sillage is impressive (people will know you were there), though the projection is more “firm handshake” than “bear hug.” It lasted about seven hours on my skin and even longer on clothes, basically clinging on like it also paid rent. It absolutely screams spring - fresh, outdoorsy, optimistic - like you just opened all the windows and evicted winter by force. That said, it does smell suspiciously similar to other green fragrances, and at this price, I might adopt one of its cheaper cousins instead. Why pay full price for a forest when there’s a perfectly good park down the street? Overall, if you’ve ever wanted to smell like you wrestled a pine tree by the sea and won, this one’s for you.

Such a beautiful and elegant citrus-moss scent. It feels like freshly washed clothes on a breezy summer morning. Too bad for the poor performance. You really have to get close in order to smell it, and it doesn't last. For the price point I was expecting more. Nevertheless I will consider it for my already cluttered collection. later: I had to edit this after a few hours. It's just such a beautiful and addictive smell. I think that people saying that it's a horrible scent that you'd want to scrub off your skin bought fakes, not the original product. Pacific Rock Moss isn't the 'smells so weird but l still like it' kind of fragrance. It's clean, fresh, marine and has nothing that would put anyone off so that they'd have to scrub it off. Get it from authorized resellers and you will love it. much later: So I got to the others' conclusion that this fragrance does indeed cause nausea around 1-2 hours after spraying. It's weird because it's not due the heaviness of the smell, but due to the long exposure to the smell. It's not by any means intoxicating, but simply difficult to handle for an extended time. Having second thoughts after buying it. 3rd one's a charm: just spray it on the back of your neck, or the sides, and you will be fine. Never on your chest. This fragrance just screams SEX on a sandy beach and it would be a loss not to wear it if the occasion calls for something like this.

An absolute gorgeous fragrance today! The intial spray is a little strange since there is a strong mossy alcohol like note but this doesn’t last more then 30 seconds. Immediately a beautiful fresh clean scent starts to shine, with wonderful mossy and woody undertones in it. Hints of citrus, earth, and spice are lightly present as well. Pacfic Rock Moss smell almost like a very sophisticated Irish Spring shower gel but lacks any off putting soapy notes. Performance was quite good, nothing crazy but nothing to complain about either. Longevity wise I got about 5 hours on skin and a little less on clothes. There was another 2 hours of a very close skin wearing scent that made for 7 hours of wear in total. I would give Pacific Rock Moss a 7/10 for longevity. Projection was a little bit subtle, with Pacific Rock Moss staying well within my arms length the entire time, probably about 3 feet of total projection. A 5/10 here. Pacific Rock Moss has a gorgeous scent profile that is slightly more complex in a perfect way. It has an easy wearing grab and go nature but it has a complexity that most of these fragrance don’t. This is a fragrance I can happily see myself wearing again, especially on a hot day. A 8/10 overall for me!

The contrast between the sparkling citrus brightness and the darker, grounding moss creates a beautiful balance. It’s a fairly linear scent, but when something smells this good and lifts your mood, that’s hardly a complaint. The main drawback is performance—projection and longevity leave something to be desired, which is frustrating for a fragrance this enjoyable. Still, Pacific Rock Moss is one of those spring/summer staples that feels both easygoing and refined. It’s fresh, earthy, refreshing, my favorite from the house, and one of my favorites in my collection.

I generally don't like aquatic or ozonic scents, and I assumed I would not like this one based on the description, but as it was included in the house sample pack, I grudgingly gave it a test run. Boy, was I in for a surprise! The first blast knocked me off my feet, and within 15 minutes I knew I was going to buy a full bottle. This is nothing like the aquatics and ozonics I grew up with in the 90's. I didn't think there was anything new that could be done this genre, but Pacific Rock Moss came along and presented the freshest and most realistic beach feeling I have ever encountered. The salty notes are balanced with a streak of citrus to create a breezy effect, while the moss acts as an anchor and gives it depth and volume. Performance wise, I get a consistent 4-5 hours regardless of temperature or season. It suits summer best as it is so fresh, however I find myself spraying it in winter as well, when I need to remind myself of the beach and sunshine. The development is linear, which some may see as a negative, but in this case I think it is appropriate. If you are standing on a perfect beach in perfect weather, why would you want it to change?

Pacific Rock Moss is one of those fragrances that instantly puts you in a good mood. The opening is bright and fresh with a clean coastal feel that never comes across as synthetic. As it dries down, it finds a great balance of mossy and woody notes that make it both inviting and addictive. It stands out from many other blue fragrances thanks to that mossy character. I'd compare it to Wood Sage & Sea Salt by Jo Malone, but with a richer mossy nuance. This is an easy fragrance to wear and one that really shines in warm weather. It feels just as appropriate for a beach day as it does around the office. My biggest complaint is the performance. I get about 2.5 to 3 hours of projection before it settles into a skin scent. For the price point, I wish it had more staying power. I picked up an 8ml decant from FragranceNet, and while I love the scent, I'm still on the fence about buying a full bottle because of the performance. I know Pacific Rock Moss has a lot of mixed opinions but I can unequivocally say — after finishing two travel sizes of this — I adore it! 🥰 PRM is the most quintessentially aquatic, beachy, summery mood lifting fragrance I have — and it has some serious tenacity. It’s a perfectly unisex, aquatic perfume with a hint of chlorine / sand / salt/ Je ne sais quoi to make it interesting and elevated (not sunscreeny at all); I find it to be somewhat in the vein of Comptoir Sud Pacifique’s Aqua Motu. I took the Perfume Guy’s advice and layered this with Sunset Hour (another favorite from the house, along with Southern Bloom), and I was so pleasantly surprised when I spritzed these two on one morning before work and found myself catching whiffs of PRM many hours later 🙌 So the lasting power is decent, as well as the projection. I recently listened to an episode of “It’s Just Perfume” with Steve Gontarski interviewing Dimitri Weber and he revealed there’s going to be a Pacific Rock Moss intense! Color me excited!

Contestant 1 of Niche December. First impressions: Nice, well-blended freshie which smells a bit like a peach. Projects at around arm length if sprayed 5 times. Development: Around 5 hours in, it has become a skin scent with a slightly more mossy/herbal feel. It is very inoffensive, with a "soft" feel, and has a very unique scent profile. Overall I expect it to hold for several more hours as a lingering skin scent. This is a great contestant for a full bottle, considering its price is fairly normal compared to others (found a bottle selling for 106 Euro on a discounter), it has good performance, and smells amazing. Solid 9/10. PS: It held on as a skin scent for much longer than expected. Changed longevity rating.

Perfect summer fragrance. Second only to the king that is Virgin Island Water. A great mood enhancing fragrance. Uplifting af. Having a bad day? Give this a spray! I finally pulled the trigger on a big bottle as I've burned through a few 10ml travel bottles. This screams go to the beach. Go outside! Do something out in the sun, near water! In my long list of fresh summer frags that I own, this is top 3. No question. Just something about that super airy lemon that I cant get enough of. A lemon masterclass if you will. I cant think of lemon done in a fragrance that is better, or in the same league. Bohemian Lime is another excellent citrus. This house does citrus better than any other house. Bold statement, I know.

This is a genuinely amazing fragrance. This smells like you are sitting on a beach with waves crashing on the shore, and you're sipping a perfectly-sugared lemonade. This fragrance has the most beautiful lemon note, it's not too bitter, and not too sweet. Slight sage and floral notes in the background, and mossy aquatic lemon notes on the top. The quality that went into making this fragrance is crazy. Somewhat basic bottle, with a wood cap. The atomizer has a perfect spray (if you've ever sprayed one of the guerlain l'homme ideal fragrances, that's what it's like) Personally, I think you could get away with wearing this all year around, and is a good signature scent for the price and quality.

Finally - a masterpiece aquatic fragrance that isn’t only for men! One of my favourite perfumes has always been Acqua di Gio for men, but as a woman I’d never wear this. However I’d practically follow men down the street wearing that perfume... To me pacific rock moss is a modern aquatic with ADG vibes that is perfectly 100% unisex. Finally I get to have my blue scent moment without having pear or some other fruit thrown in to make an aquatic fragrance ‘feminine’. This perfume is a 9/10 as I’ve taken off one point for the name. When you smell amazing and someone asks you what perfume you are wearing I don’t really want to tell them I’m wearing “rock moss”. Bit of a marketing fail there...

Please disregard the "generic, classic fresh" kinda comments. I genuinely don't understand where that's coming from. This is not generic at all. The opening is heavenly aromatic; it immediately transports your mind to a beautiful beach, putting you in the mood of sipping a fruity cocktail while lounging on a sunbed. However, once the opening fades after about 10–15 minutes, although some traces linger, the drydown becomes quite monotonous and underwhelming. As much as I was blown away by the opening, I wouldn't have bought this without a really good discount because I plan to get Loumari Porthole or Pacific Chill for this summer.

i love it. like nothing in my collection. Granted, i lean heavy towards fall/winter scents, but still I think it's great. If you don't like it, stop btching about it or talking crap about online videos where someone likes it. If you're curious, look for samples on ebay or get one from lucky scent before getting a full bottle. Pricey? yes, but the designer house is all the way in Australia and I doubt that US consumers were really that important. And like all houses, it's up to the consumer. Must be working for them back home because all their products are priced the same. This one is just another one. Enjoy!

(GF&B Discovery - 2/10) Pacific Rock Moss is such a perfect summer scent. It is similar to wood sage and sea salt, but with this beautiful lemon scent added, and less salty. It’s an uplifting fresh citrus and one of the best aquatic scents I’ve smelled, not synthetic whatsoever. Imagine a walk to the beach: you’ve just stepped off the blacktop and onto the sand, but not at the beach yet. First you’re walking through a grove of trees, lemony but deep with cedar. Then it hits you - a salty spray of ocean air and water. All of that combined forms this perfect beachy scent, great for spring and summer

Opens kind of soapy then changes to a citrus aquatic feel soon after, is a little light when you first apply but give it about 45 minutes and it opens up and actually starts to project more, over spraying will help. Unfortunately this one does fade and sit close to the skin after the first two hours, you get 7-8 hours longevity but only you or someone extremely close to you can enjoy it into the dry down. Beautiful scent profile, once again Hamid Merati-Kashani did a great job with this creation, just wish it had a bit more projection. 9/10 Full bottle worthy but sample first.

Heavenly opening, the first few minutes with this fragrance are incredible, especially if you haven’t smelled it before or if it’s been a long time. It smells like the best thing ever if you like aromatic, summery, fruity, fresh fragrances. But once you get used to it, you can get bored pretty fast because the drydown is a bit monotonous, and you start wanting to smell something else. Still, it’s an 8/10 for me. I want to get a bottle before summer, although it might be redundant if I get Pacific Chill first.

To me this smells EXACTLY like its name. Pacific. Rock. Moss. Oceanic, slightly earthy, a bit of dark mossy vibe, absolutely stunning. The lemons is there after the opening, and it's tastefully done, it's not as prominent as in Bohemian Lime, which is mostly why I chose PRM over BL. It's extremely photorealistic, like a breakwater that withstood the test of time, after years of wearing down by the salty waves, has grown a layer of algae. Lasts pretty good all things considered. I'm very happy with it.

Nothing groundbreaking, just a simple refreshing and aromatic lemon with that bit of moss in the dry down to give it a little character that is done really well. Doesn't last too long but it's a refreshing scent that doesn't suffer from a bit of overspraying and is pleasant on the nose in the warmer weather. Not worth at retail, and tbh maybe not even at discounters prices, but I still get my enjoyment out of it either at the gym or just on a quick errand run.

I love this scent so much and am so mad at myself for waiting so long to try it! It’s the perfect freshie. Very unisex (my bf asked why i sprayed so much cologne before bed, but also said it was too feminine to wear himself idk) It doesn’t smell like wood sage and sea salt at all, but i’d consider them to be in the same family and if you like one you’d probably like the other. However, having both in my collection wouldn’t feel redundant in my opinion.

I'm absolutely smitten with this fragrance. Its aquatic freshness is truly amazing. What really sets it apart is the remarkable smoothness, no harsh or bitter notes that a lot of freshies have. It's a beautifully balanced scent that's both refreshing and uplifting. Performance-wise, it's not going to blow anyone away, but for me it's decent enough. Overall, I'm loving it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a crisp, aquatic perfume!

I think people tend to miss the idea of what this scent is. It seems to me that people expect spice and an ultra masculine scent from any fragrance in this price range. To me it is still a very unique profile even though it falls into the blue fragrance category. Despite it being a blue fragrance, I think this has done a good job distinguishing itself from the pack with the rock moss and sage notes. I think it is a justified price point.

Such a nice clean marine fragrance! Very mass appealing kinda gives me clean lv imagination vibes. Projection is moderate and longevity is actually not that bad either. I get around 6 hours and sometimes I can still catch slight whiffs past that. Nice fragrance if you want to smell fresh and clean! Make sure your skin is clean and hydrated because everyone saying it last less than two hours is crazy. This thing easily last me 5 hours!

I just got my bottle yesterday. After a full wearing and 5 sprays I can say this performs pretty well on me for a fresh scent. I got about 4 hours of projection and another 3 before it seemed as if it was gone. Definitely going to be keeping this for my spring/summer rotation. It reminds me of a breeze by the ocean. A better performer on me that Sel Marin and smells very authentic. The color of the juice is pretty cool too.

I have been using this perfume for a long time and I could not say that it has any similarities to the very popular perfumes that have been talked about lately. It is special, inoffensive, like a shadow that pleases you so much that you wish it wouldn't disappear, it's a pity that it disappears quickly. There is a soap in Australia that is almost identical to this perfume, it is Australian Botanical Soap Sea Salt.

I bought this while in Orlando with my wife for La Jatee perfumery (check them out, incredible selection) and it is easily one of my favorite summer scents. An incredible Lemon/lime moss scent. It leaves a trail as you wear it and people ask what it is you’re wearing. Reminds me of summer and the beach and a strong drink. And the packaging is just beautifully simple. They did not miss on this one. Gorgeous scent

I strongly believe that some reviewers don’t know what they’re talking about. This fragrance is a masterpiece, compliments for days. This is one of those fragrances that puts you in a good mood, a great scent to create memories and smell amazing in the process. This will be a part of my rotation for the rest of my life as long as they keep making it. 10/10 stop thinking about it and just grab a bottle!

A very pretty summer scent. Very unisex, especially suited for people who don't want to be put into boxes; neither overly floral, nor a basic aquatic. Very uplifting and bright. The performance is an obvious issue, so take a sample out with you if you're out all day. This house does a lot of good, well-composed summery fragrances, and this and Bohemian Lime are front runners in this regard.

im not gonna lie this stuff smells incredible. it has such an invigorating and uplifting scent about it that makes me want to go out and cliff jump on the shores of some beautiful ocean. the italian lemon in it reminds me more of a sort of lime smell thats been revoked of its sourness and i absolutely love it. HIGHLY recommend getting this. 9.5/10 (wished it lasted a tad longer)

The perfect spring summer and daytime fragrance. Absolute summer in a bottle. Some say it’s more unisex but I absolutely disagree, I think it’s totally masculine in a good way. Uplifting and aquatic but more unique than your average summer or gym scent. Slightly woody and mossy dry down that is amazing. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on this.

Lovely. Simple. High quality. But not unique. The opening 5minutes is stellar uplifting aquatic citrus. After about 30 minutes its just Davidoff Cool Water Woman and Tommy Bahama St. Barts. Nuff said. If you have cash. If you can afford it, then its a great spring & summer freshie. Otherwise layer the Davidoff and Tommy B

Really delightful clean scent. Its like waking up on a summer day for a day at the beach, your moms in the kitchen cleaning before you go and i find that cleaner quality people mention nice, i mean its not overpowering and the geranium adds a delightful sweetness. A really easy fresh scent

Super fresh/citrusy that doesn’t fade right away opens with lemon very refreshing scent( not bitter or cleaning products kinda lemon)then settles into a clean floral I used to hate citrus but this changed my mind Two of my friends said it smells like alcohol pads not to me tho

Really great acquatic fragrance and in my opinion the best G&B. A little lemony and sun screeny but i like that, but where this fragrance shines is in high heat, really brings out the great smell of this fragrance. Would absolutely wear to the beach or in hot weather.

Great fresh citrus woody scent, at first spray I thought it was too traditionally masculine for me to wear. However, as it opened up on the skin it gained some complexity and warmth. It’s so stunning and ideal for summer. I can’t wait to wear this more as it heats up.

At first, I loved the opening but after wearing it I’m not loving it as much. The aquatic note is almost nauseating. The dry down is not great, it dries down to a very salty fresh note that smells cheap, kind of reminds me of the saltiness that Armaf milestone has.

Very nice, crisp summer scent. Is has something green, aromatic, citrusy and clean (not heavy salty) aquatic. The perfume smells similar to : Jo Malone - wood sage & seasalt and Balade Sauvage by Dior. Longevity not the best, this is the only drawback

Very citrusy fragrance, from top notes to drydown. Too much for me. It's not super sharp, but when I think of the smell, I imagine just yellow juice. Not lemonade fresh. But just a yellow liquid... Not for me. The oakmoss is what's pleasant.

A beautiful herbal citrus perfume, with a woody powdery drydown..Suitable for any situation and what is interesting to me is that it is very reminiscent of Armani HE (only that it is somewhat sweeter, lasts shorter and is quite linear)

totally underrated,i forget about having this in my collection however the second I decide to wear this Im in love with it, sadly poor longevity kind of ruin it but otherwise this is a summer masterpiece.

Smells like cool cucumber water, but in a classy way. It's very pleasant and soothing, I think it's the sage. But also quite faint, I wish it is a bit stronger

The NUMBER ONE aquatic fragrance. Smells exactly like cold waves crashing against rocks, with a cool salty breeze on a hot summer day.

9.2/10 Really nice fresh aquatic scent. Reminds me of french riviera by Mancera but this is more full bodied and less salty.

I find some similarities here with Sel Marin James Heeley. This one though is far more well blended and refined.
