Royal Rebel

This is a really nice perfume. Not a fan of the opening or how it holds on my clothes, but THE DRY DOWN— to die for. It smells warm and sweet, like sugar cookies, in the dry down. The opening kinda smells like baby wipes with some powder. But, again, THE DRY DOWN— warm, sweet, but not heavy. It’s airy and light and sweet and inviting, like how the house might smell when you bake sugar cookies. It’s got a bit of that powder too for softness and femininity. I might have to break my perfume-snob tendencies and just buy a bottle of this even though I think the presentation itself isn’t too pretty. I really like the scent :)

I found this on sale at Target, and honestly, I wasn't expecting too much. However, I find myself reaching for this one more than my more expensive perfumes. It's so beautiful and intoxicating! It's like vanilla amber incense that you'd find in a head shop, which isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I love it! Nice sillage, but unfortunately, it doesnt last too long. The price is right so just reapply every couple hours!

Since purchasing this a few weeks ago, this has been my most reached for scent. It is warm, sweet, ambery and definitely has that indie shop vibe - in a really good, non-generic way. It is a fantastic layering piece for anything you want warmed up, sweetened up or softened. I am quite worried that this scent is going to be discontinued and considering buying out all of the inventory I see from now on.

I believe this one is discontinued now. Anyways to me this is a comforting scent so I like it. It is somewhat sweet, but indistinct, yet smells good. Hard to describe.

Definitely smells like the incense aisle in a head shop. But, if you spray with a light hand, it’s not overpowering. The pink pepper is fresh and sharp, which helps to lighten the amber and musk. I really like that element. It’s not quite sweet, but it’s soft and warm, absolutely perfect for a cold night. A nice, inexpensive one for date night! EDIT: The more I wear this, the more I feel like this smells like mint, vanilla, incense, and musk rather than any pink pepper or golden amber. Not a bad thing. Just something I’ve noticed.

The roller balls of this scent are at Marshalls / TJ Maxx this week for $5.99. I categorized it as candy sweet in my mind. Now that I am re-applying it and sniffing, I get musk first, then the amber which seems to come off like honey. I don’t get pink pepper, and I am surprised no florals are listed in the notes. The overall effect is “sweet” to my nose. Indecipherable sugar-plus-drugstore hair creme.

I wish I got more of the vanilla/amber that people are talking about. I tested this on my wrist and got straight baby powder. If you like the scent, the performance is surprisingly good. It really projected and lasted even after I washed my hands twice.

All I got was musk on this one.

I got a tiny trio of this company’s perfumes and Royal Rebel was the only one I liked BUT I really like it! For an inexpensive perfume it has terrific longevity and it projects. It’s powdery, musky, slightly sweet. Very wearable. Kind of in the style of Mariah Carey’s “M.” Not a dupe by any means but if you like “M” then this a a good blind buy. If you order from the company, you get a first-time buyer’s discount. I love finding a new perfume that smells good and doesn’t cost a fortune!

The notes are spot on. This perfume is cheap but it's gotten me a lot of compliments. It's powdery but not in a baby powder way. It's more in a clean mature woman way. Definitely feels wintery or fall like but I think that's the warmth of the amber saying that for me. Once when I was interested in a man I wore this and he said emphatically, "You smell GOOD!" Good enough for me!

I have the rollerball for this. It smells like a vanilla cookie but is overwhelming sugary. Not my favorite since I don't like these kinds of scents but if you like vanilla scents it's worth a try

Smells so sweet, I'm surprised there are no sweet notes here. It smells like skin after a whole day by the pool tanning, I love it
