Water Lily

I love Water Lily, and I’m surprised that I didn’t notice it in stores before it was discontinued. It’s well balanced and smells like a zen garden in a bottle; sweet and slightly earthly. For me, this is the perfect scent to wear around the house or on a laid-back warm day. I also tried Avon Forest Lily around the same time, but that one smelled rancid (I got it from Ebay & it's probably too old). This is low projecting and only lasts a few hours; however this is perfect for me, since I’m sensitive to most fragrances. My only complaint is that I have to wear it low on my body or it creates a light stinging sensation in my eyes. It’s not unbearable though, most fragrances either strongly burn my throat, nose or give me a migraine. If I could find a fragrance with this exact scent profile that didn’t cause even a light neg. reaction it would be my go-to fragrance.

Nostalgia in a bottle. I can’t figure out what I’ve smelled before that reminds me of this. Memories of my childhood flash through my mind and I can swear I’ve smelled it before. Maybe my mother’s or a woman figure had shampoo or some perfume that smelled this way. Idk. But, I never want to not smell it again. I rarely wear it as it has very weak lasting power but it’s great for a quick run out of the house on a spring or summer day. Fresh, aquatic and sweet. But just a little sweet on the dry down. Stays on the skin ever so lightly. Beautiful scent and I’m sad they discontinued. The last bottle I bought was used on eBay but it was worth it for me.

Good Chemistry's Water Lily is a very green, aquatic floral scent. It has just a touch of sweetness, but kind of lingering in the background. It reminds me of relaxing on a park bench by a pond, just taking in the scents during Springtime. A very pretty, feminine fragrance that is also great for layering or touching up your fragrance of the day. I keep roller balls of this in my purse, my car, by my bed. Something simple, yet feminine, for when you just want an understated affect.

At first spray, it’s a little sour on my skin, but the dry down is heaven: fresh, floral with a hint if sweetness, and green, not herbal. More like leafy green but not harsh. Wonderful find. I hope to always find this at Target.

Picked this up in a CVS while waiting for a prescription. I own Bluebell and just secured a back up bottle, as it's been discontinued (apparently) so I was feeling both eager and cautious about trying other scents from the Good Chemistry line. Ordinarily I skip drug store brands entirely, as they're generally poor quality, highly synthetic fragrance blends that might smell nice in the store but turn aggravating with extended wear. Good Chemistry changed my mind on that but, seeing what became of Bluebell, I would hate to fall for another something that may be taken away. I second the reviewer who said that there is something nostalgic about Water Lily. I feel the same, and I felt that with Bluebell also. It recalls a simpler, fresher time...maybe a bit of an early 2000s vibe. It's very green, and perhaps a bit aromatic. I'm actually reminded ever-so-slightly of Christmas trees. I don't know that this will be a fragrance I use in my regular rotation, but I knew immediately that I wanted it in my collection. It makes me happy to smell it. And it's calming. I think "tranquil" might be the right word. Especially on this mild but slightly rainy April day, it just seems to fit.

So nice, light and fresh. Not cloying at all. Very clean floral, aquatic without smelling mildewy and green without being cutting. Perfect for spring or summer.

I remember really enjoying this in 2018, during my first year of college, but now? I cannot stand it. I found it again in the back of my shelf and immediately downgraded it to a bathroom spray.

This review is for SEA SALT GARDENIA as it is not listed on Fragrantica. I sprayed it on myself at the Target store over 5 hours ago and I can still smell it strongly lingering! This is quite unusual to me as fragrances often do not last on my skin! I really really like this fragrance! Strong salt note on the top and throughout the wearing of it. Beautiful fragrant gardenia but not artificial or cloying in the heat of the day. There must be some vanilla or amber something else in it that sweetens it up as well. A beautiful long lasting fragrance at a budget price! P.S. I found out the sweetness is coming from the amber and coconut notes, very strong coconut note here. Loving it!

A pretty aquatic. In the same vein as Dolce Floral Drops or Alfred Sung Shi. However, it's not the same as either of those, this one is even lighter and airier. There's something about this that conjurs up nostalgia for me, although I can't say what, just that I have smelled this long ago, in another life maybe. I get little hints of the berry now and again, but it's definitely a floral aquatic perfume.

In Love with this fragrance. The smell is clean, fresh and aquatic.The flower notes is not overpower the perfume as I can smell the berries also. Suitable to start the weekdays as it gives a feeling of fresh start. Got this from my father who went to US. I ask the small size because I'm afraid not liking the scent. Turns out I regret asking the roller size because I love it much.

I just tried this at Target. Light, fresh, clean, and aquatic. Very lovely.
