Baguio Verde

I took the plunge and blind bought this on the recommendation of a TikTok influencer (Adrian | Fragrances) and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is average, but the drydown is where it truly shines its calm, cozy, and quietly comforting. It evokes the feeling of cold weather, wrapped in a cardigan, sipping hot chocolate far from the city noise. The patchouli and violet are present but restrained, which makes it very wearable for those sensitive to heavier base and floral notes. A unique, unhyped freshie worth exploring. Sir Adrian salamat sa push. You made me discover a scent that’s tahimik pero panalo. 😊

When I first tried this, it instantly reminded me of minty mouthwash because of that cool, piney freshness. It wasn’t love at first sniff, but the dry down really won me over. As it settled, it became surprisingly calming and comforting. I love how it truly captures the feeling of fallen leaves in a cold forest—very much like its inspiration, Baguio City. It’s cool, misty, earthy, and incredibly relaxing. One of my favorites from this line.

Sorry, but this one isn’t for me. I blind-bought it expecting prominent pine, woods, and leafy notes, but it turned out to be very citrus-forward instead. Others might love the bright, citrusy profile, but I personally gravitate toward woody scents.

i really wanted to love this but it just sits as a "i like it" vibe... it doesnt really remind me of baguio but it reminds me of the cold weather of baguio and doesnt really smell like the place - surprisingly a good fragrance to wear on a hot/humid day in the philippines... first spray has that fake/plastic smell for me - im not sure if i got a bottle thats f*cked but that's what it smells like for me. fake plastic tree. but dry down is very comforting.
