Lesedi La Rona IX

It opens with a strong dose of citric ginger on a base of freshly brewed black tea. There is something kind of sour there too in the opening which at first I was unsure of but I definitely like upon second wearing. Throughout the duration of this wear, I notice that while the ginger never disappears that bright citric element definitely takes a backseat and the smell of a smooth almost bitter high quality black tea really shines through with woods and musks. It is super long-lasting which surprised me especially since it took a lot of elements typically associated with freshies and made them cosy, and deep. The first time I tried it, I sprayed it on my arm around 3ish and it literally stayed on my arm until the next day when I was showering. It smells so super high quality too. I can see myself wearing this year round as it is extremely cosy. I’ve always wanted a true tea scent and I feel like I got it with this one. Extremely unisex, leaning masculine but definitely still wearable for me. Something about this feels very formal and serious like the bottle itself which I appreciate since I don’t have anything else that smells like this. While I love this perfume a lot, it may not be as versatile/wearable for some 8.5/10 Update: this smells like spiced ginger lemon tea with a little honey. I notice the sweetness a lot more now since I’ve worn it a couple times and it keeps getting better. It’s still very dry and formal though (which I like)

Invigorating ginger tea with lemon and lots of cinnamon. Has pleasant sweetness but remains unisex.

Tea, bergamot, and cinnamon ginger! This is a weird combination! the bergamot and ginger tea is fine but mixing it with matte, cinnamon, & clary sage tonka makes it chaos somehow!
