Lesedi La Rona VI

This is my go-to gym scent—a truly beautiful fragrance that grew on me over time. Initially, I wasn’t drawn to it, but its charm unfolded, revealing a perfect balance of powdery lightness and rich oud. It’s ideal for the gym, as it motivates me to push harder. When I smell it, I’m transported to an expensive, dimly lit room with warm wood-brown tones, high ceilings, and exquisite interior decor. Or the image of a cozy jazz bar in Soho, intimate and luxurious. You must love oud to appreciate its depth.

I’ve smelled thousands of perfumes in my life but this one has seriously left me speechless. It’s so opulent and rich. You can definitely recognise high quality ingredients here. It’s a sweet rose (orchid/Jasmin?) and Oud combo but it’s so intoxicating and different from anything I’ve smelled before. It’s unisex but feminine leaning in my opinion. Sexy as hell!

Delicious oud-vanilla combination. Sweet and smoky with the right amount of texture from the oud to prevent it from getting too creamy or cloying. It's nothing new, but it smells pretty good.

It’s just straight oud with a bit of sweetness. I like it, but it’s not as complex as something like oud ispahan.

Heavy, sweet, smokey middle eastern stinky oud. Another Oud bouquet/shagaf oud.

A decant from my Niche Swap Box. It opens with orchid and a natural spiciness from clove, evolving into a floral heart of jasmine and orange blossom. To me, it leans towards a classic rose-oud blend with jasmine, reminiscent of Arabian Shaghaf. While interesting, it was too rich and heavy for my taste, though clearly unisex and best suited for winter. Great price in a discount store, beautiful packaging.

Smells like Oud Bouquet, but does not have the praline note and oud is stronger here. I prefer Oud Bouquet.

Incredibly potent, sillage powerhouse, and incredibly long lasting. Maybe one of the most concentrated perfumes I've ever tried, handle with care. I found it headache inducing even in very small amounts.

this is a perfume where you have to take the time to get used to. it has an incredible chic poise. the oud immediately reminds me of Montale, Ex Idolos Thirty Three, Histoire de Parfums al Oudh, Juliette has a Guns Midnight Oud and somewhat of Dusitas Oud Infini. but it is more demure and yet, it isn't demure. tamed or, dancing with the white flowers Jasmine and Orange Blossom. strangely it has almost the same effect as a majestetic Rose does with Oud. oud needs strong flowers. I love the combination here also. in the beginning I found the perfume fleeting.... but it really isn't, it is as if to know her, takes some time and then all kinds of depths come forward. the cloves make me think of a strong Dominique Ropion fragrance. there is a haute refinement. I must have mistaken that of a demureness in the beginning. bought at the same time as with Cartiers Oud-Rose they share definitely similarities. with GRAFF I must always think of their watch 'Hallucination", bedappled with coloured diamonds at $ 65, million. now here we have again the Lesedi di Rona. I mourn the loss of the haute joiallerier de Grisogono, because there were some fine perfumes cooking. the other perfumes look promising. there is an awkward thing with the cap. in the beginning I thought it was a turn-around cap. I almst pulled the whole enface off... the plastic cap has a circular inside,save for a straight strip. all inviisible due to the facettuousness. this strip shoves over a counterstrip in the metal neck. once you have seen it, the problems are over. I marked the strip zone with nail lacquer.... a fabulous, regal and sheerly deeply enjoyable perfume !

Undoubtably one of the most beautiful perfumes I’ve ever smelt. The notes tie up well and leave you mesmerised to say the least. Without a doubt unisex. The Oud is not strong or skanky whatsoever, instead you’re left with a floral and smoky bukhoor.

Sweet woody animalic.... castoreum maybe! with some vanilla, amber, & cedar poowder. I wouldn't call it oud! it's like the animalic touch in "Oudh" by L'artisan rather than oud. Maybe bokhoor powder but def not oud. It's nice after all.

This smells...wealthy. The oud brings a sophistication to the vanilla that makes this feel powerful and sexy. I like it. Definitely unisex. This is one you have to let sit and evolve. Sillage is decent.

For me this smells really similar to Swiss Arabian - shagaf oud
