Époque Tropical

This is an absolute beauty for those who love smoky, resinous and balsamic scents. The notes used in this composition are mostly sourced from natural ingredients. It opens with citrusy mandarin and nutty cashew with a touch of cardamom. As the opens rapidly fades the flowers stars to shine. Magnolia, Rose and Geranium are well blended and they work very good together, Magnolia being the star of the show to my nose. Then we have tonka bean, guaiac wood and sandalwood and WOW! It couldn't get any better, elegant and almost creamy. The dry down is gorgeous. Classy, close to the skin and with astonishing longevity Epoque Tropical reminds me a lot of Santal 33. A cooler cousin I would say, but here the suede/leather aspect doesn't exist. Not on my skin. This is a signature scent worthy (no doubt 😉) and if you are in Europe, Granado is easily found in Paris. @deepgreenbeauty

I like the santal33 profile, but the leather note of the original stands out too much on my skin, which becomes overly masculine and off putting. I am so happy I found this, because it has the same profile but with a feminine touch (note: I am also not a big rose fan, but this one is very inofensive). Found this on sale in brazil for around 35 euros 75ml love love love!!!!

Very nice! It's what I wished Santal 33 was, while Santal has a Very woody dry down, Epoque is definitely woody but there is a flower accord that balances better. I like Santal 33 however it smells not good after a while. I don't like to get in the lift and people are using S33. This one is smoother and more pleasant.

Um dos meus perfumes favoritos! Ótimo para ser assinatura e, principalmente, usado no ambiente de trabalho. É um perfume amadeirado que traz seriedade e completa a postura de uma pessoa segura e profissinal. Não identifico muito a nota de caju, mas cheiro por conpleto é sensacional. ♡

My big bottle just finished and I’ve already purchased a 25ml of this that comes in a Christmas gift set. Possibly one of the best scents out there. It’s very well blended. A citrusy, fruity (sweet fruity but also tart fruity) woody fragrance.
