Lavanda

Good Lord this is good. SO good. Lovely true lavender. Fresh, fragrant, beautifully photorealistic delicious lavender. It has replaced my natural lavender aromatherapy oil in floating me off into the clouds each night for the most sound, refreshing sleep ever. In addition to receiving endless compliments & inquiries about my fragrance when I utilize it for stress-free days & travel. Thank you, Granado! 🥰

The peony/musk drydown is somewhat addictive in this. I wore it all day yesterday and today, playing with some layering to understand the composition better. It opens with an herbal and aromatic citrus freshness that has zero sweetness and quickly moves into the kind of lavender scent I would want to smell like after emerging from a hot steamy bath, more fougere lavender than essential oil lavender, if that makes sense. The peony and musk combo almost smell like fresh pressed linens without the iron steam, but it’s very cotton-y and fresh. I layered earlier with Choco musk to create a lavender vanilla marshmallow which was very pleasant, but was swooning for the layering combo tonight of vetiver elemi by 7 virtues, as some of the green freshness of the fragrance makes the musk note in this sing. It’s been a rainy day today and this has felt so fresh and aromatic to wear. Not a safe blind buy in my opinion.

A herbal, sharp lavender in the opening. Then it gradually softens, becoming more floral and diffuse, over a dry, powdery-woody base. The wood is very pronounced. I suspect the "amber" in the notes is actually amberwood, not traditional amber.
