Rosa Sublime

I usually dont make reviews, but as a brazilian, i kinda feel in need to show the wonders of granado to the world. It is a very velvety Rose/fruity/sandalwood/saffron based fragrance with a strong sillage and longevity. As a Quentin Bisch rose creation, we couldnt wait for anything less than exceptional, wich indeed, this is. Just a amazing fall/winter fragrance, wearable to the day or night. Niche perfumery at a acessible price range.

Opening reminds me of Fashionably London by Zara. I get the rose note a lot here at the beginning, then it warms up and it gets a bit more resinous and woody. At least that is how it behaves on my skin. I would say this is definitely a mid season scent, like a mild to cool weather. I feel like wearing it on a hot day could make it cloying and headache inducing. But overall a beautiful scent. Granado hasn't disappointed.

Diferentemente do que estão dizendo nas reviews, não tem projeção boa, muito menos fixação. A fragrância é excelente, tem uma rosa intensa e um sândalo cremoso... Porém a performance é medíocre. Perfume bom pra se usar em casa ou pra passeios simples / curtos. Não é algo que sustenta um evento inteiro.

Eu queria muito amar essa fragrância, mas sempre dá dor de cabeça. É um perfume maravilhoso, mas infelizmente não consigo usar.

Smelt this drunk at a gift shop casino in palm springs and really liked it. I remember it smelling like a smoky/spicy rose.

A rich rosey saffron scent that intrigues and indulges in equal measure. Rosa Sublime is different kind of rose scent as it opens almost fruity with fresh apples and cassis but the almost synthetic rose and full bodied amber give this a powerfully powdery persona. It is quite metallic in its presentation, and sticks to the skin with a 12 hours performance. For me it is kind of like a rosey remix of Pegasus by PdM with the Jasmin, Sandalwood, amber and almonds providing the base of the experience. Definetly a feminine scent that rose lovers will enjoy, but I wouldn't purchase a full bottle.

Here, the rose is far from soft or delicate. It’s sharp, spicy, woody, intense, and slightly creamy. Right from the first spray, there’s a “punch” of spices alongside the rose, and there’s no doubt: it is the star of the fragrance. As time passes, the spices begin to calm down, and the rose starts revealing other facets — more delicate, slightly green, almost reminiscent of a blend of carnation and rose. In the drydown, the saffron becomes quite intense. To be honest, I think it’s already present from the very beginning, but it becomes more noticeable as the fragrance settles. Even so, I still can’t identify its scent in complete isolation with total clarity. Longevity: absolutely insane, easily around 16 hours. I sprayed it in the late afternoon, went to sleep, and woke up still smelling it strongly on my wrist. Projection: powerful during the first few hours, then it gradually settles closer to the skin. Anyone who enjoys fragrances in this style will probably appreciate it. It reminds me a bit of Essencial Oud by Natura, but without that heavier punch of copaiba and oud. It also has a touch of Hadya, though without the oud and without that creamier rose bouquet. Overall, it’s a beautiful fragrance. Will it become a full bottle? Maybe... there are other perfumes calling my name right now. To my dear Fragrantica followers.

Wow!!! What a perfume, which arrived with a bang, left me speechless, simply captivated by the magnitude and presence of this rose. A majestic, grandiose, striking fragrance... A force of nature. A semi-oriental rose, striking, heavy, mysterious, gothic, totally dark. Rosa Sublime is strong, opulent, and seductive. Forget everything you imagined about delicate, girlish, romantic princess roses; this perfume is nothing like that. The rose in this perfume is a black, heavy, very gothic rose. It's a perfume Morticia Addams would easily wear. Rosa Sublime has a strong and mysterious personality. I absolutely loved it. This perfume has an incense-like touch, with a subtle nutmeg accent, reinforcing a moderate oud scent, but all in a very balanced and perfectly executed way. This perfume isn't one unisex; it's very feminine. It's a totally nocturnal scent, for winter and autumn temperatures, not at all versatile. It's for women who don't mind the opulence of this mysterious rose. It's a powerful scent with incredible staying power. I'm in awe!!!

Rose notes surrounded by heavy, harsh, metallic aromachemicals, it feels like a mix of ambroxan and amberwoods, scratchy musk...and patchouli. This is not sublime. This is not charming. This is a chainsaw against the nose. Yeah, I know Quentin Bisch is highly praised for his creations but he really likes heavy irritant aromachemicals. I am surprised about the reviews...no ...not really. This should come in a black bottle with gothic, decaying roses.

An intense, spicy, lush and jammy rose, with something of a ripe exotic fruit nuance to it. It has a dense, velvety depth, with an ambery, almost incense-like background. There's a touch of mysterious. It's quite potent and long-lasting. I like it on its own, it's a good fragrance, but the fruitiness isn't quite to my taste for wearing.

My partner tried this in their boutique in Chelsea today, the opening reminds me of Lust in Paradise by Ex Nihilo. Dries to a rose-y sandalwood, not bad.
