Iconic Nuit Pour Homme

I have never smelled BE but I like LNDL, sprayed a whole lot of them at the airport, both departure and arrival. The price is expensive here in JP, should have bought it in Paris during transit because it was at 50% discount (stupid me). Anyway, back in JP, want some LNDL, too expensive, looked for some clones, reached this. To my surprise, this is exactly like LNDL but a tad bit fresher, no kidding, maybe this is what BE smelled like. Around 90% the same as LNDL (not BE), opening same, dry down same, longevity similar (not very good, definitely medium to overspray this, if you sissy spray it will become skin scent after 2-3hrs, maybe to clothes it will have longer longevity). For this low of a price? The quality of this smell is a bargain. I actually bought this with Al Haramain Detour Noir (Layton's Clone), I think this copies better, smells better and cheaper as well. If you like aromatic, spicy, woody based scent, just blind buy this. It costs basically nothing. 9.5/10 (-0.5 because weak magnetic cap, good atomizer tho)

I must preface this review by disclosing I am relatively new to this fragrance hobby, so do I know what I am talking about with any degree of authority even on a good day the answer is no I do not. So with that understanding here we go, I was originally looking for YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Blue Electrique, but could not locate it anywhere, so I purchased this dupe based on YouTube suggestions. Upon purchase and first impression I have to share my nose went to fragrance heaven! Really, even after two hours my enthusiasm and attraction to this scent is extreme happiness. To me this was a very gratifying purchase. I would think that this fragrance would have a very broad appeal and could be worn anytime. I know I will be wearing it without any reservation anytime I wish. I cannot comment yet on longevity (since I just purchased it), but for the price I paid ($28) this is a win for me. Hopefully after a month or so I will be able to come back and comment further about the compliment factor and performance. Stay tuned.

Hey, Fragrantica! I'm not sure by what process you go about updating your information, but, it would really be nice of you to make available the information concerning more, others from Grandeur's line-up. I recently was made aware of & purchased Grandeur Pacific Woods. I haven't been doing this long enough to tell you that it's a dupe of this, or, inspired by that, but, having only had it for about a month & a half (I give 'em all a month to macerate/mature, before I begin using them), I can say that I'm feeling it to be of similar feel, quality, as is Iconic Nuit Pour Homme. Had I known it existed, I probably would have acquired it much sooner, based on how impressed I was with Iconic Nuit, but, fortunately, through a process of actively looking for the ones that aren't being hyped, and, just keeping my eyes open for those under-recognized gems, I was made aware of this one, and, feels like it's going to be a great addition to my warmer-weather line-up.

I am testing with the real thing on one hand and the Iconic Nuit on the other. Compared to the original, the opening is a bit muted: that fresh intense sparkling of Bleu Electrique, which in my opinion is the best part, is more subtle. The first 10-15 minutes where a little bit of a letdown. That said, the dry down is unbelievably similar (I'd say it's about 95+%) although not quite as fresh as BE, I think the ginger just isn't as strong in the opening. This is one of those cases where I think I wouldn't even know unless I had them side by side. It's fantastic for the price and closer than any of the other clones I have tried, and I own all three of the most popular (JoC, ANC, this). It definitely seemed to improve after a few months of oxidation, although performance was still decent out of the box. One of the best clones I have ever tried, and I've tried many.

Finally got this after hunting it for a while. It's the closest of the big three (Jack, Caprice, Iconic) by far to BE. All of them are good fragrances, but this is the only one I recognize as BE. Nashama is the strongest but also kinda thick and powdery, more of a fall/winter/evening variant. Longest lasting by far. Jack is a solid LNDL clone, but lacks the freshness aspect to be a BE dupe. Medium longevity. Iconic has the quality and the freshness (has the same "pop" as BE), basically lacks the opening and goes straight into the BE drydown. Weakest of the three in terms of longevity, but not terrible by any means. I think it may even be worth it to own both Caprice and this if you really like the DNA. Signature scent worthy, anytime and anywhere with the exception of the properly hot summer days. I paid 16€ which is a bargain for this.

This might be the most accurate clone I’ve ever purchased. If you’re a fan of the original LNDL Bleu Electrique, this is one of the safest blind buys of the year. I own a well-aged (and almost empty) bottle of the OG, so I did a side-by-side on both test strips and skin. The OG has a slightly denser opening, but after 30 minutes there was no noticeable difference between the two. None. Even the middling performance (the only negative I’ve ever had with the original) was a 1-to-1 match. With a $20 price tag for 100ml, however, you can afford to overspray or reapply Iconic Nuit as much as you want. I can’t wait to see what this does after a little aging. The fact that a clone performed this well next to an original bottle which has been open for over a year is simply incredible.

Perfect for slightly cooler days i.e. spring/fall. Haven’t really used it in summer or winter since it can’t compare to dedicated winter scents and since I feel like it might be overpowering in summer at least for the first 1-2 hours after you apply. Definitely need to macerate as it has a very harsh green opening when you first get it but after macerating it smells less sharp and synthetic but instead balanced. For longevity it’s around 6 hours but after 3 hours it really fades away to a more up close, intimate scent. In the air it smells like a sweet dominant fresh fragrance with ginger coming through making it smell like a luxurious blue fresh ginger ale which is definitely a plus. Overall just a great scent.

So glad to see Grandeur has finally made its way on here it's long overdue! I have Jack of Clubs, Al Nashama Caprice, Lattafa Ejaazi Silver and Iconic Nuit. JOC and ANC are pretty close in scent profile, with Ejaazi Silver being the furthest removed with heavier ginger notes, and a clear liquor type of scent. Iconic Nuit does go a little heavier on the baby powdery/barber shop notes up top, but it settles down really nice. Great bottle, great scent, and pretty solid performance. The magnetic cap can't be trusted so do not pick this up from the cap lol. I'm hoping to see more from Grandeur on here asap!!!

This is one of the best clones in my collection. I have never smelled Bleu Électrique, but comparing to La Nuit de l'Homme, which I own, this is very good quality. Bang for your buck, can't beat it! Very nice, smooth cardamom fragrance. Good La Nuit de L'Homme alternative. My only knock would be that it is very linear. Not a lot of evolution in the dry down. Good performance. I get approximately 5 solid hours and still very present as a skin scent 8 hours later. Excellent performance for the price. Scent - 9/10 Performance - 7/10

I own all blue electric clones. Personally and objectively, Iconic nuit is I think the perfect and most balanced clone it’s the really well polished perfume good middle ground. Good projection and longevity. I recommend that one if you had the original. 8/10 like-ability , 10/10 clone Clone comparison: Caprise is nuclear level of power, which I find sickening. Just baby powder. Jack of clubs is more lemon ginger which i like but performance is ok. It’s not offensive and you can overspray. It’s closer to La Nuit L’homme.

For the price, this is such a steal. Very nice, fresh aromatic scent. It comes with a magnetic cap, a pressurized atomizer, and it's only about 20 bucks, I mean, come on. It's like a bimbo who promises you some action if you take her to Burger King. This fragrance is a total "pick me". It's true though, performance isn't great. But at that price, you can just overspray the sh*t out of it. I tried this one and Illusion from Grandeur, two no-brainers in my opinion. Easy 5/5 at that price.

Hear me out, first spray out of the bottle smelled great, very satisfying. The next day it smelled like a citrus bomb and bamboozled me tbh (it probably reacted badly with my skin chemistry). After a bit, I decided to use the Vaseline trick, this fixed the citrusy smell and also helps with longevity. You can also just carry around a 5ml bottle for reapplication. Extra pros: Magnetic Cap + Good Atomizer. You can easily make this your signature due to price(16$) and versatility.

I have the La Nuit de L'homme Bleu Electrique, Al Nashama Caprice, and this Grandeur Elite Iconic Nuit for quite a while now. Al Nashama Caprice smells much closer to LNDL BE with a slightly less gingery fizz on the opening. Iconic Nuit is still similar-smelling but with flatter ginger notes. Sits in between OG LNDL and LNDL BE Performance-wise (at least on my skin): LNDL BE - 5-6hrs Iconic Nuit - 8-10hrs Al Nashama Caprice - 10hrs minimum

So just got this in a few days ago and I’d say on first initial sniff I was mildly disappointed at the opening it felt like it was missing some of the powderiness and sweeter aspects. Was a bit fresher in the opening however when it dries down it’s 90% similar. Performance is a slight down around 4-6 hours but maybe I’m nose blind I hope if I let macerate a bit it’ll help. I feel at peace cos I was on my last few mls on BE.

Clones have gotten so good over the years. This one is one of those. Incredible scent profile that’s 90% to my nose Bleu Electrique. For a fraction of the price and easy to find. Only knock I have on this cologne is the weak magnetic cap. Lasts all day on my skin. Works for near all year round, just wouldn’t wear it in the summer. 9/10 definitely worth the small amount of money. It’s on Amazon right now for under $30

Only just received but it does smell 90-95% similar to YSL LNDH Blu Electrique. The opening is mainly Bergamot and Ginger with a slightly spicy undertone which must be the Cardamom. The Lavender is also present but I don't really get much geranium tbh. I also get a creamy Sandalwood base note more than the Cedarwood and Vetiver. Great blind buy and amazing value..Really good clone of an Iconic scent..

I think it's the best and closest BE dupe around. Abit rough and sharper at the opening. But any nose will put it at 85-95% similar. So inexpensive and yet it's silage and projection is good. I think iconic nuit is better than ANC is more powdery to me and very strong too. JOC doesn't seem that close like a BE and LNDL hybrid. So for it's price this is good solid stuff from grandeur

If you're okay with spending a bit extra $$$ I would reccommend D&G the one edp, or le male le parfum over this just because the sillage on this is below average, I could barely smell this on myself but when you can it still smells good. The blend of the notes is also as much as a designer fragrance. Overall this one gets a 7.5/10, if the sillage gets better It would be an easy 8.5.

This is my favorite dumb reach. It's so close to Bleu Electrique in the drydown it's indistinguishable to me, just need an extra spray each spray you would apply with BE, but this is just fine because this stuff is $30! To my nose, this is probably one of the most impressive clones out there.

Grandeur is probably making some of the best dupes, this is the first one I got from them, $15! Damn, how? Presurized atomizer, magnetic cap, thick heavy glass bottle, the scent is rich and strong, just right let's say, have to wear it some more. And I have to try the Montage Intense next.

I very like this shit. Pretty linear, but super wearable and nice scent any occasion. Cheap hidden gem. It reminds me a bit Cool water intense by Davidoff, what I really enjoy as well. If you want an affordable and quality fragrance what everyone like, just buy it. A big blind buy for me.

Although I have never smelled the Original YSL but this 15 Euro perfume smells awesome. Yes, the performance is nothing to write home about but for this price you can drench yourself with this juice. Can't imagine anyone not to like it. Any occasion, any weather, simply beautiful

This is the best lndl be clone ever, its very similar to the original but has something that reminds me of the og lndl , its a little bit sweeter and fresher, AND it projects and lasts. Very good fragrance. I actually think its a dupe of eau electrique, not be

LNDL is one of my favourite dnas and this is indistinguishable start to finish. I’ve bought a few clones over the years and they were always close to the original but lacking slightly. This is bang on to BE.

4/5 I like the drydown after an hour or so, its smooth. idk about the opening I feel like it doesn't blend together well, bit sharp, stingy, or something like that...

It's a great clone at a good price/presentation. I don't know why this perfume from this brand is the only one, since it has other gems to show.

The price/quality ratio here is insane. The juice is very high quality.

TL;DR: awesome scent; accurate clone of LNDL EDT (green-tinged bottle) with slight sweetness; terrible projection and terrible longevity. No one will smell this on you unless they actually press their nose to your skin/shirt within 2 hours of spraying. Very similar (~95%) to YSL LNDL EDT but slightly sweeter. I haven't smelt the Bleu Electrique flanker, but I own the LNDL EDT original (which has 4.5 hours longevity on paper fyi). Also slightly sweeter than Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice (7 hours longevity on paper), which isn't sweet and is actually even drier than LNDL EDT. This Grandeur Elite Iconic Nuit has the same sweetness and the exact same smell (99% similar) as Guess Seductive Homme Blue (which I own), and basically equal performance (they both have terrible projection and terrible longevity of 2 hours). My advice is skip the Grandeur Elite Iconic Nuit and get the Lattafa clone, unless you really want a slightly sweeter twist at the expense of performance. I much prefer the slight sweetness but performance sucks. I haven't tried the Fragrance World clone though so that's worth looking into probably.

Excellent clone of original YSL LNDL BE....very good quality and price is so reasonable...$36 CAD on Fragrancebuy.ca...I also have the original that is discontinued but can be found for very high price....Iconic is like 95% to the original....its just a bit more fresh in the opening which I like and the dry down is the same....may have to spray a little extra but it is just perfect.....so addictive in the opening and sensual in the dry down....proven hit with the ladies

Great scent, extremely close to original, closer than both al nashama caprice and jack of clubs ( have both of them and also smelled LNDL BE many times ), weak performance and longevity though, below average and worse than the other two, will have to give it some proper wears and see how it performs with overspraying and spraying on clothes, hopefully will perform

Never smelled the OG, but I really satisfied with this, unique smell, decent performance, the juice blend quality I get for this price (20$) is a Miracle

Everything has already been said. This is a blind buy IF you know LNDL (BE) smell 9 /10 (amazing) performance: 3/10 (vaseline trick helps a lot!)

Update review. Wearing this today. Had it for over 6 months. Sprayed my arm like 12 times. Can't smell anything an hour later. Up close, it has kind of a foul smell. The cheap "woods" ingredients I would assume. I'm throwing it in the trash. I've only ever bought two "dupes." What I've learned - they are shilled harder than designer fragrances. If I had to guess, only less than 5% are actually decent and worth buying. No dupes are worth buying if you can afford to spend $75+ on an actual designer bottle of any type.

It’s an amazing fragrance in terms of the notes and composition. There’s just no performance, 12 sprays after 6 months of “maceration” and it’s a skin scent in under an hour and gone entirely in 3. The reformulated EDT YSL LNDLH is a better performer. This is sad because this is a truly beautiful fragrance.

A great cheap fragrance. Powdery musk scent. Opening is not the best you get hit with a very synthetic citrus but the drydown is good. Projection and longevity is okay. Good everyday fragrance

All I can smell is the synthetic vetiver. Nothing else.

I just bought it second time for about 8 Euro / 100ml. Grandeur is quite heavy on limonene and geraniol . BE is more lavender ( linalool acetate, linalool, ethyl linalool) and less ginger and geranium ( geraniol ). I am hobbysit perfumer - have some aroma chemicals ,essential oils etc. And what can i say straight , is weaker on Lavender - exactly Lavendula Diva ( French ) which is high in linalol acetate (55%), 30% linalool, 2% borneol, 6.5% beta caryolyphene. If You want improve Iconic nuit to BE and balance it - add more linalool acetate (and linalool (5:3) and very important borneol crystals ) https://www.perfumersworld.com/view.php?pro_id=1BW00064 which is important for iceberg coldness which is lacking in Grandeur. I would also add some more cashmeran because its prominent in OG BE and also it have aspects also of iceberg coldness and is very projecting Aroma chemical, some more helional ( aquatic , ozonic ) and just a very very small amount of anethole ( anise star EO ). I dont know if you know but there is Anise EO also and of course Nutmeg EO in Bleu electrique when it comes to very potent oils.

This is really really good, its even more projecting and has more longevity than OG and is very close to OG. I have a 5ml sample of OG. It`s reaaly nice and has sweetness and top notes are very noticible maybe a bit more than in OG and me personally added some nutmeg extract to it - just few drops and WOW! it has that narcotic vibe with ylang ylang and makes cold freshness twist like BE. ( about it says Aaron T Hughes on youtube review of YSL BE ) so i copied his clever note on BE and added to Grandeur to increase that "narcotic" vibe :D Nutmeg also makes it more woody and with ylang ylang its narcotic . Overall its more projecting than OG even without nutmeg . It s very good and I only check OG its still the same or maybe better now ;)

Grandeur and Arabiyat Prestige are the best clone houses on the market. Grandeur fragrances aren't projection beasts, but they smell very pure and are easy to wear and have a decent sillage. Skip that Lattafa crap. Fragrance World usually lasts a shorter time than Grandeur fragrances, but aren't synthetic like Lattafa projection beasts that will surely give you a headache. Grandeur fragrances smell superior to the other clone houses, especially bottom of the barrel Armaf and Afnan. Much more wearable and overall pleasant.

I honestly blind bought the frag. I was drawn to it as a result of the cool-looking bottle and the magnetic cap is a plus.Had I first smelled it, my nose may have shut down my credit card. It is a shame that with such a cool bottle that the scent cannot last a few hours longer and smell a tad stronger. I guess that goes without saying for most of these clones/dupes.

Smells very similar to discontinued Bleu Electrique but performs much worse - becomes a skin scent fast and the longevity is maximum 3-4h if you overspray. Edit: after maceration for couple of months the projection and performance seems better - after 8h I can still smell it on my skin.

The ginger and cardamom together create a chai-like smell that I enjoy a lot This effect gets stronger when sprayed on skin. Very comforting, calming and addictive. Just flat out wonderful.

haven't smelt the OG bleu electrique but this is close to the EDT, i prefer caprice but that's more powdery
