Described on Youtube by a notable and prolific reviewer as "classy" and "classic". Maybe. I am not so sure. Leather, petrol (or something flammable like petrol) and a somewhat animalic note are dominant to my nose. Imagine, if you will, an artist's studio. There are paints and brushes. Turpentine is in the air. There's also a leather sofa and other leather items - a jacket, a bag perhaps. And there are Persian or Afghan rugs lying around. The scent exudes strength. Dry as a bone. Good longevity. Quite a powerful scent but not overbearing.

Very refined leathery, oudy scent, but it lacks originality, as this DNA is everywhere, unfortunately. The leather is smooth, and the oud isn't skanky at all, but it does have a smokey quality. The fruitiness/sweetness is kept to a minimum, just enough to balance the two other ingredients mentioned above. Nothing to dislike; just a bit "typical" leathery, oudy, fruity scent à la Oriental/Middle East.

this is utterly bizarre: i tried this in the store (alongside their hudson river one) i heavily debated between the two, since both smelled great to me, but ended up going with hudson, since i figured it would be more versatile where i live (warmer weather). but i got a sample of this from the store. at the store, this felt interestingly smoky (but not 1:1 like anything else i smelled before) - but the sample at home literally smells like piss on my skin. now, granted, i tried both of them only on paper in the store, so it could be just my skin making it weird --- but i've never experienced such a huge contrast between paper and skin before. i literally saw the seller use the same tester to pour into the 2ml sample bottle, so it can't be a "bad sample" or something. just bizarre. the urinal aspect of it is even stronger than some musky stuff from Bortnikoff which are INTENDED to be funky and animalic... what a shame. the hudson river frag on the other hand, smells almost exactly the same between paper and on my skin, and it's wonderful. and yes, i agree with Hazel that there's something really offputting about this massive wall of obvious bots commenting on this...

Is there a raspberry note in this? Gross! Opens as BBQ scent on my skin, then sharp amber (ambroxan?) scent comes through with something that resembles raspberry... Altogether, smells like baked piss! Ew! Update: this also would not come off my skin, no matter what I did... This is one of the worst smells I have ever smelled!
