A Man's Cologne

My Dad wore this when I was growing up. I remember the rocks in the bottle. He actually is the one who started my love of fragrance. In his travels he used to purchase perfume for me. I owned many non age appropriate perfumes when I was young. I still have a beautifully aged Dior Dune with the white tubing for the sprayer. He passed away last year and I would buy a bottle of this just to smell it. We shared our love of fragrance and when I grew older I would always purchase his colognes for Christmas. He was a signature scent kind of man, rarely owning more than a bottle or 3 at a time. So this is a love letter to my father through fragrance. I apologize I could not name a note but this was always a very pleasant smell. Always remember that you never know how much your scent can impact someone. xx

A classic, masculine, timeless fragrance, with citrus, patchouli and woody scents. Pleasant on a man, absolutely worth wearing without being afraid of being out of fashion: it always has its reason.

How strange that not a single wood ingredient is listed here, since that's by far the predominant accord – cedar and inexpensive sandalwood to my nose, a sort of cheapie, lighter and yet more interesting Diptyque Tam Dao. Fun to wear if lacking in depth and subtlety.
