Really great take on Sauvage DNA, specifically Sauvage EDP. Very well blended, smooth, not harsh at all. It’s better than Sauvage EDT and Kajal Faris. If you find it in a discounter, price will be around 120$ and it’s a good deal. Don’t mind score, as you know d..kheads already reduced score when they see sauvage in reminds me of section. Let them worship and use really shitty clones like Armaf CDN Urban or whatever))

A very natural, calm, gentle fougere that wears better than Sauvage. The similarities are there, but this comes off very different as its more natural, with more body, more depth, and sophistication. Heavy on lavender, which I happen to enjoy a lot.

Combo of sauvage, touch of Elysium, little aventus, hint of kajal faris. It's a really clean, fresh, masculine, wearable frag. Smells modern but mature. Does not smell "exactly like sauvage" in any way shape or form. Nice and functional

One of the best perfume for the hot days, literally a mind opening experience when you smell it, it is cooling your mind and soul with a fresh breeze.

Love 19-68. I layer with Molecule 01. Wearing this several times a week. Great office fragrance. Love it.

I bought 19-68 by Gritti as a birthday gift for a friend as an introduction to the world of niche fragrances. I chose it based on its similarities to some of the colognes already in his collection, with the added bonus Gritti is one of my personal favorite fragrance houses. Dior Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel were on that list, so thank you to the earlier reviewer who pointed out the similarities! I was going for something refined yet approachable, and didn't want to get too adventurous as I wasn't too familiar with his preferences, so 19-68 fit that bill perfectly. The scent opens with a fresh burst of citrus, thanks to the vibrant blend of bergamot, grapefruit, and tangerine, balanced by a subtle hint of cassis and pink pepper for just enough edge to round it out. It's uplifting, refreshing, and clean, which is perfect as we live in California and I find a lot of mens' fragrances can be suffocating on hotter days. The lavender and magnolia come through in time, adding an aromatic and slightly floral dimension, while vetiver and patchouli ground it, giving a classic, almost "aftershave" bubble. It’s definitely a safe choice for someone who enjoys those clean, traditional scents. As it dries down, the base notes of ambergris, tonka bean, and musk create a warm, smooth finish. It ends as a clean, freshly-showered skin fragrance. The sillage isn’t overpowering, making it a great day-to-day scent that won’t overwhelm the room, but its longevity is solid, sticking around for several hours. Overall, this is versatile and easy-to-wear. It's perfect for those who like fresh, slightly spicy colognes but don’t want anything too intense. I find that it paired well with other masculine and unisex fragrances I have, including the combination with Molecule 01 that another reviewer mentioned, which bumped up the muskiness and added a wood facet to round it out even more. 19-68 feels polished and non-offensive, making it a great introduction to niche fragrances without straying too far from familiar territory.

stopped by Profumeria I Muschieri di Rosa e Antonietta in venice today. ( a must visit tiny shop close by the museo correr) one of the sweet and patient owners guided me through several fragrances until i picked this as my 165euro buy. what attracted me was a certain "solidness." something that said well tailored but not overly serious. now it has been renewed and drying down and remains "solid." lavender and citrus a bit old school with moderately strong sillage and a charming finish to it. no one under 50 should wear this, for real. this is the grandpa who you might hope will leave you lots and lots.

27C and sunny. a bit heavy for today, but nonetheless pleasant and enveloping. summer time in a flower garden, the overall effect is nice

Yes, sauvage inspired. Beautiful bitterfruit spicy opening. Floral Vetiver dry down. Eventually masc leaning scent. Not so good performance. Not much to see here due to its "generic" behavior. It's as if people who wear dior sauvage had matured and now they have wealth and courtesy lol.

Woody green. I didn't feel any special whiffs in the air that would make me like it. It smelled interesting on paper but semi-generic on my skin. While opening and mid phase were pretty loud, dry down stayed pretty close to the skin.

Im not badmouthing this fragrance. Its good. Nothing wrong with it. But theres simply no reason to buy this fragrance. Point blank period. Its literally dior savauge & prada luna rossa carbon etc..nothing bad about this scent, theres just really no reason to buy it. It just serves no purpose that the others dont already serve. And I might even say that it is less interesting than either, as 1968 seems to remove Dior's Sauvage's Ambroxan and Prada Carbon's trademark soil tincture note, to instead replace both with straight lavendar. (I dont really get much tonka or vetiver or any of the other notes in the drydown.) Edit - Returning 7 months later to say correction: this smells like Sauvage & Carbon IN THE OPENING and mid. The far dry down is kinda fire though..almost completely different from either of those. This is actually some good stuff. I even got a compliment on this. Thats not the reason Ive changed my mind on this fragrance, but I didnt expect this to even make an impression on anyone else. I just noticed that I kept getting wafts of something really good smelling all night. I actually thought it was someone else's fragrance at first that I kept smelling, and I was literally looking around to the neighboring tables near me at the restaurant to try to pinpoint the source of the smell, until I left the restaurant and realized I was still smelling that pleasant aroma, at which point I finally realized that it was the drydown of this fragrance on me that I was smelling. Its still nothing crazy or outlandish, and the performance may seem anemic, but its persistent. This is actually pretty well done and very pleasant in the air. Im gonna have to quit wasting this stuff lol

I heard this was like Sauvage but better. But this is pretty much Prada Carbon. I mean it is nice and wearable and i will use it a lot but i don't really know why i should wear it buy Carbon seeing the big price difference.
