'HelloGigi' is quite right - with the first spray it does smell very very animalic - it surprises me, not to see civet or castoreum among the notes of this fragrance. The animalic wears down after about an hour, and a very warm leather takes its place. Although I do love strong fragrances, this one is too strong (especially in the beginning,where I could smell only oud) even for me

It's not animalic in any way on the opening guys sorry but I have to disagree. I have a lot of perfumes with Civet, Castoreum and Hyrax notes and to compare those with this is worlds apart. The opening of this scent is boozy and leathery in a very intense way. It is reminiscent of TF Tobacco Oud as the Whiskey note is almost identical. Once this dries down though it moves away from the Tobacco Oud vibe and moves into a Nasomatto Pardon and Bentley Intense vibe, except sweeter. The sweetness mixed with the leather note and cardamom creates a very smooth almost chocolate accord. Absolutely incredible creation. 9/10
