Biassanot

One of Gritti's newest fragrances. Animalic musk, smoke, leather, big time medicinal oud. It smells like a Montale. In ffact it strongly resembles Montale's Black Musk. Biassanot starts with a hefty dose of musk and smoke. No hay, no coffee on my skin whatsoever. After 10 mins or so it calms down to a blend of leather, smoke,very sharp musk and medicinal aoud. It smells very middleeastern and harsh, almost chemically. Veeery bitter. Personally I don't find anything appealing in this. Longevity- here is where Biassanot truly shines. It detectable after 24 hrs on my skin, the sillage is great for the first 3. After that it stays around the wearer for another 6/7 and only after the maybe 10th hours turns into a skin scent. On textile this lasts for days. For whom it is? It's masculine to the core. Notjhing sweet, nothing floral, nothing unisex. Ages- 30 and up. Seasons- cold, bitter cold weather. It's a winter only frag. I wouldn't use it even in the autumn as the animalic notes and smoke tend to amp up even in mild/chilly temps. Night use is best imo. Occasions- serious types of settings only. Funerals, bussiness meetings maybe. I don't see it as a casual scent at all. One should be properly dressed as well- tux/ suits and ties. Official attire only. In conclusion- super dark, sharp, middleeastern animalic. Bitter, aoudy, leathery. To my nose reminiscent of something that Pierre Montale would create. Great longevity, great prijection. Not unique at all. Masculine to the n-th degree. Cold weather only. Serious occasions only. Proper attire as well. I would not get it, as it's practically unwearable- the bitterness and harsh musks/ animalic notes turn me off completely, wven though I fancy challenging scents. It doesn' smell expensive to me, quite the contrary- it smells like a Montale( which is bad in my book). Would never pay retail, nor a discounted price for ot ever. 2/10 a dud unfortunately
