The scent is pleasant, but it has a very unusual effect: for the first time, I got the feeling that it somehow combines everything a person could theoretically like — peonies, citrus, apricots... But the notes don’t quite blend together. Because of that, the overall sound feels a bit patchy: one note sticks out sharply, then another; there’s no real balance. Maybe this jagged, contrasting effect was exactly what the perfumer intended — a provocation, a play on shifts and contrasts. Whatever the case, the fragrance has the potential to become a summer crowd‐pleaser: it’s bright, noticeable, and overall uplifting. If you can just get past those strange transitions in the top and middle notes, there’s a nice surprise waiting: a soft musky base. It smooths out the earlier contrasts beautifully and leaves a gentle, unobtrusive aftertaste.

Reading the reviews here and on other sites I can understand why some don ́t enjoy the opening (one comparison was ,,cheesy feet"), because it is a biting ,,in your face" litchi-note which remains until the dry-down,but becomes sweeter with a burst of peony.The litchi-peony mix is very intense,almost overpowering, later joined by jasmine and a sweet musk and you must be a great fruit-flower lover to enjoy this fragrance.As a tribute from Luca Gritti to his wife I must say I ́m impressed with the intensity of his feelings.It lasts very long with a strong sillage and is very feminine,like a Delina ,,on steroids"

The opening of this I don’t enjoy, it’s very vintage/mature and has a sharp aldehydic note. However the dry down is much nicer. It becomes an aquatic lychee with florals, feels very fresh and uplifting. You need to appreciate florals to enjoy this one, if not you will likely feel like this is for older women

smells a tiny bit like japanese family marts? or im insane. maybe its how the lychee is framed, but still its drowned out by a whole lotta meh
