It smells alot like Abercrombie & Fitch - Fierce. At least the fierce bottle i bought in 2010. Can't comment on current Fierce formulations. Performance seems to be good.

If Platinum Egoiste got lost in the deep woods. Aromatic & musky. Still versatile & easy to wear. 8/10

My cat selected this one for today, for me. He is male... thus this beauty appeals more to his senses than to my female ones. But it is on the edge - masculine in character, but still does not irritate me on my skin. Some rebellious females will love it. It also gives an impression of escaping a male hug - his scent lingering on you. Nuances of chocolate are mixing with lavender - none winning the first place, none obvious. These are the first two hours of wearing this scent. It is herbal in the background - very natural and classy. Wears very well. As the cat himself liked it, it must have been attractive to his little nose - such a darling, he brought this particular sampler downstairs and offered it to me :) Never left lavender, chocolate, fir, lemon, amber realm on me. Happy with this, on a male it would be even better I think.

A cornucopia of pleasant smells is wafting from inside. They mingle with the evanescent luminosity, creating a fusion of scent and light. The wonderful mystical aromas enfold him ... It is the freshness of lavender and of the fruits mixed perfectly with the intensity of sandalwood and musk, making this a wonderful fragrance blend with strength and purity. It is a pure light!

Another copy of Dior Sauvage...I am not happy about spending money sampling mediocre "niche" brands. So irritating. I am a woman I do not want to smell another "unisex" scent that is just a pure copy of Sauvage or of Aventus. Nasty job Gritti.
