Super Nova de la maison @grittifragrances s'ouvre sur de fabuleuses notes aux facettes minérales évoquent un univers olfactif bien particulier. Je ressens une explosion de fraîcheur, à la fois humide et salée. note verte s'y mêle, rappelant la salade verte, très fraîche et l'herbe après la pluie avec une nuance légèrement épicée. Cette sensation de vert est enrobée d'une énigmatique et sensuelle absinthe légèrement amère et verte. Ce parfum est une sensation explosive de notes aquatiques, qui sont fraîches et même froides par moments. C'est extrêmement beau! Des notes qui évoquent l'air frais du bord de mer, et l'odeur propre du linge qui ondule doucement au rythme de la brise. De subtiles nuances de chlore et de métal ajoutent une fraîcheur cristalline unique à cet accord ozonique. Il y a dans cette fragrance une note que je ressens comme une note fantastique aux facettes poivrées, sulfureuses et Pyrocaustiques. Comme l'odeur de la poudre des pétards lors des fêtes de ma ville Alicante en Espagne. Puis, un parfum boisé, noisette et très opulent. Sans aucun doute c'est une note de Oud qui va devenir délicieuse. Je détecte alors une note qui dégage une douce odeur purement métallique et qui va rester ancrée sur ma peau pour se mélanger aux accords aquatiques, ozoniques, boisés. Le résultat est très plaisant, je l'adore. Un côté sérénité extrême comme transporter dans un moment de voyage vers l'insouciance et l'élégance. Un parfum qui rend heureux, donne une élégance magistrale, et possède un côté très sensuel. Car ce parfum après quelques heures devient extrêmement attirant. Un effet salé et chaud, similaire à celui de la peau. Ce qui le rend sulfureux. La longévité est très bonne et je dirais que les effluves deviennent narcotiques les heures passant. I went into the perfume store and, because of an IG suggestion on how to smell like the moon, interstellar, and Area 51, I decided to smell the bottle and I really liked it. It was so unusually fresh. I love fresh scents, and this was something new — not flowery fresh, not laundry fresh, no sweetness, no saltiness to it, nothing, and yet so pleasant. I spent some time in the shop and could not stop coming back to this bottle, trying to understand why it was so pleasant. I couldn’t resist and I bought the sample. I came out, sprayed it, and omg... it was so bad. It smelled like gunpowder too much. I regretted it so much. BUT WAIT! I arrived home, showered, and I could still smell it. But it wasn’t the gunpowder anymore — it was that pleasant smell I had felt in the shop. I had to repeat the experiment also on my boyfriend’s skin and on my colleague’s skin and all three times, I got the same experience: 💥 Explosion — gunpowder, a sharp scent lasting for about 2 hours, and then... ⭐✨🌌☄️ Something extraterrestrial and beautiful like never seen before. The experience is exactly as the name suggests. The fragrance is preaching long-lasting it even survived a shower +few h after it. I love this scent. It’s genius.

I first encountered this at a niche perfume shop (Sabina Scents, who are top-notch) in Sorrento, Italy where I was choosing a fragrance to commemorate my Summer trip. I narrowed it down to either this or Blue Talisman by Ex Nihilo. In the Summer heat after the opening of each—the two were nearly indistinguishable for me. For the price, I ultimately chose Blue Talisman, but they gave me a sample of Super Nova. Wearing that back home, I felt crazy to have thought they were so similar. However, I don’t feel as crazy now that I’ve read reviews where others compare both to Ganymede, which I’ve not smelled before. Blue Talisman is a better fit for warm weather, whereas this is slightly more suited for cooler weather, to late Spring. I found a bottle from a reputable discounter for $130, so I couldn’t resist it any longer. This is super high quality juice with great performance and sillage. It smells so rich and smooth. The oud is a Western oud, which is to say it is easy on the nose without worrying if it’s going to smell like a barnyard to others. At a time when I’m trying to downsize my collection and am being more intentional about adding to it, I’m very glad to pick this up!

Gritti is a lavish clone house, no question, just like many other niche houses. Super Nova however, is an interpretation of Ganymede which happens to be a designer offering with a niche enthusiast following. Now, I don't particularly care for Ganymede, as I find it too sharp, synthetic and aldehydic for my taste. But this one is a bit more refined, more natural smelling, and greener with sparkling ambergris thrown into the mix. None of those florals, saffron or synthetic akigalawood. No curry note. It’s also not as sweet, making it far more wearable than Ganymede could ever be. Ambergris should be ranked higher as the dry down has a distinct cement ambergris accord that I truly enjoy, which reminds me of Escale en Indonesi.

90% of the reviews here are misleading. Not very unusual when you’ve never smelled it, nor bought it. The fragrance is superb in many ways. Initially you get completely blasted with freshness and aromatics. After an hour this settles into a mix of ambergris, saltwater and slight florals. It’s very rounded and extremely soft. I dare a comparison to Green Irish Tweed, for those who remember the ambergris in it. Yet the fragrance is so powerful that it radiates all day. Superb. You get noted, yet it’s not overpowering. It’s the first Gritti for me, I trust not the last. 🌤️🔥🤩🌊🌊 If you like my thoughts hit the 👍 button.

It smells as if I were murdered — forcibly drowned in pickle juice. The brine filled my lungs until I could no longer draw a breath of air. I fought desperately for my life, but death was stronger. At last, a small light appeared at the end of the tunnel, and suddenly I felt an unfamiliar calm — a deep, gentle peace I had never known before. But then something changed. I woke up in a hospital room that smelled sharply of iodine and sterile medicine. I had been saved. Unfortunately. 10/10, would recommend.

When I wear this, I feel like I’ve unlocked some hidden area in a video game. This is, as the name somewhat suggests, other worldly. Yea, Supernova and Ganymede are related. Yes they both share a beautiful backbone of the controversial akigalawood. But whereas Ganymede is the flirty glance across the bar, Supernova walks up and grabs your ass.

Read the article by NASA.gov "December 2021: What does space smell like?" and you'll get it, Super Nova is supposed to replicate the smell of space described by astronauts and the fragrance itself gives this metallic, spicy, gunpowder smell.

Just wow! I was skeptical at first, but the perfume develops fantastically! It's very strong, cold, makes me feel fresh. Sillage is bold. Longevity is about eternal. Gunpowder note is very dominant, gives me memories of a shooting range

This is my new signature scent. I get a lot of citrus and mineral and it's a comforting scent. It's notes would suggest something weird but you just have to try it. I bought a back up bottle. This is a must try.

Green Irish Tweed had a day at the ocean 🌊. What a beautiful masterpiece 🏆 you’ll have that on you all day, the mineral notes and the ambergris will delight you all day. Just gorgeous 😍

Woah. This thing is metallic, mineralic, and green. It is fresh but also weird as hell and is sure to be a divisive wear. The year is 2040. Humans’ general lack of environmental consciousness coupled with pollutants from war after war have finally rendered our home planet uninhabitable. Only a select demographic (i.e. the rich, white, cishet, and physically fit) have been allowed to ascend to the next frontier on a nearby planet we have colonized. You have stowed away on the space shuttle and successfully made it to the new planet in order to conduct research and bring your findings back to the rest of your middle and lower class, POC, queer, disabled, and elderly brethren back home. You are the everyday human’s only hope. Make your observations count. The elite have set up an intricate network of greenhouses on the new planet’s surface. You stroll through the gardens and notice waterproof robots continuously monitoring the temperature and moisture levels in the enclosure. Their gleaming, metallic bodies are slick with water as they mist the crops. The vegetables look healthy and have grown to four times their usual size thanks to genetic modification. The skin on some nearby bell peppers appears thinner than usual and threatens to burst as the organisms struggle to adapt to their accelerated rate of growth. In another sector, members of the elite stretch out on an artificial beach to relax and tan. The sand is black and smells unsettlingly similar to gunpowder, but you push the thought from your mind and try to act natural as you unfurl your beach towel and lay down. The water has been artificially marine-scented and dyed with chemicals in order to remind the elite of the good ol’ days going for a swim before the beaches on Earth turned toxic. You hear the constant thrum of machinery as a large metal structure in the distance rises from the water. Its submerged mechanisms churn methodically, generating artificial waves. You stifle a grimace from behind your sunglasses. Nearby windmills generate an ocean breeze by atomizing the air with natural ambergris and creating sporadic gusts. Super Nova is a very cool piece of olfactory art. My partner thinks it’s beachy and my roommate hates it. As for me, the jury’s still out... I need more time for observation.

The great gig in the sky plays in the background as you watch the sun go supernova. You are in a spacecraft, with the last humans of Earth, rejoicing in a new cosmic adventure. Everything is made of silicone, and a synthetic smell of glue and high-tech materials nauseates your nose. There is all sorts of greenery throughout the craft, bringing a crisp cleanliness that makes you feel safe in this alien environment. Soon after, the gunpowder and metallic notes from the explosion reach the craft, but only for a couple minutes. On the dry down, the nauseating industrial and synthetic scent fades away, leaving the memory in your mind. Now, the fragrance is more inviting—green, watery, a bit creamy, and metallic—reminding you of the vast proportions of the universe. I blind bought this fragrance because I was sure I would love such a creative endeavor as what this perfume proposes, but I was wrong. It’s very creative and interesting, but it’s such a tough wear, and it’s the only fragrance I’ve ever smelled that makes me nauseous. I literally cannot put it on and leave the house because I know I’ll get dizzy. But gladly, after around 10 minutes, the fragrance becomes much more pleasant, and I no longer feel nauseous. I just feel like it’s a fragrance you should only wear in open space because of how intense it is. But if you want to smell like a bell pepper in an alien world of metallic water, go for it!

I tested Super Nova because it was recommended as a gunpowder scent. It really isn't that - whatever gunpowder is there is pretty well blended, perhaps only adding to the mineral/metallic accords. So, that was a disappointment but I ended up really like the fragrance. Super Nova evolves like a wave. It opens very metallic and mineral. Suddenly, a citrus-y and somewhat sweet scent appears. That doesn't last long and it returns to a scent that's almost identical to the metallic/mineral opening. The dry down scent is a bit deeper than the opening. To describe the scent, it's almost like the smell of a newly printed magazine, similar to Ganymede but way better. Super Nova's performance is also way better than Ganymede (current version tested from a sample). Longevity is quite good, still going strong after 8 hours. Projection is more modest after the first hour. While I was disappointed with Ganymede, I'm definitely picking up a bottle of Super Nova. Super Nova is the fume that Commander J.J. Adams wears.

Opens up faintly-ozonic metal foward, with a faint mineralic facet, a faintly citrus sweet accord shows afterwards, then it goes away, but I feel like it goes back to a metallic facet with an amber bias (much like how @Smirky is describing it). Though grey amber is the formally acknowledged note, it really bears the smell of calone, much like in HUNQ Lifeguard --maybe they're just similar to the nose. It's a bit "dirtier" than Lifeguard, but only from the amber facet. Thinking about it a bit more...this is actually a captivating aquatic frag. It definitely piques my interest more than Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrois. This frag isn't so heavy by itself--in a way, it lends into layering with another frag if you prefer. Great performance, but not quite eye-gleaming to warrant a full bottle.

Like Ganymede with green pepper instead of citrus at the beginning. I smelt more gunpowder in Megamare than here. Just pay a bit extra and get Ganymede instead, that is more elegant I would say.

Somebody said this smells like widows XP, totally accurate hahahaha it smells like you are smelling an old pc. What i smell is a metallic green moss, Salty ! the ambergris undertone is very present. Not sweet at all, totally opposite, Very harsh pungent, not for everybody it remembers it a lot Ganymede edp from marc-antoine barro and Megamare the ozonic and mossy part. This doesn't smells natural at all... Honest opinion ? I don't like it... it's not my genre at all... This doesn't appeal me i doesn't give me the confidence. This is a truly subjective taste. Does it smell bad ? Not at all, This smells Plain not good not bad not appealing not revolting and that is how i feel about it. 5.5/10. Does it last long ? yes The sillage ? Moderate, not amazing not bad. Does it gets you compliment ? No, Most defentely people with hate it and not understand it.

smells just like ink on bleached printer paper, and a little bit plasticky, like a bic pen that exploded. it smells watery too, like the dock at a freshwater lake. there's no beach, just rocks and a deck to stand on. it feels fresh, creative, and lonely, the big wide world staring back at you and forcing you to reckon with it. i'm transported to those times when things aren't going my way, but i'm so determined to cope with it that i'll go on a long walk by myself and use whatever i have around me to make art and express how i feel. i can picture the frustration of someone who went to the lake on an overcast day to write in their diary, only to find that their pen exploded in their tote bag. not wanting to give up on journaling, they dip some nearby pebbles into the ink and use it to make impressions on the paper, creating an image.

Не могу сказать что Super Nova похож на Ganymede, минеральное звучания отчётно слышно и озон немного дыма ( совсем немного), но откуда в этом аромате сладость, водяная сладость. Нету глубины как в Ganymede не играет контрастом, высыхания происходит быстро остаётся свежий и чистый, слатковатый аромат, сам по себе аромат классный, оригинальный и с изюминкой. Покупать в качестве замены Ganymede не стоит, а как что-то иное от Dior Savage или Blue de Chanel отличная зделка 😁. Super Nova Gritti стойт внимание ведь направление минеральных ароматов не такое большое,

I get saltwater and gun powder. I never smelled Ganymede. The projection and longevity is extremely good. I like this but it's nothing spectacular.

Yes. This is very similar to Ganymede, but as someone who owns Ganymede I can say there are some key differences. To me Ganymede usually reads as a magazine paper and suede scent with sweet mandarin orange. This one tones down the suede and the mandarin, instead it has a butter like richness and a vegetal green facet that does remind me a lot of bell peppers. It's more rounded, it's richer, more natural, but less fizzy and textured overall. While I really love Ganymede, I think that Super Nova is a bit odd and not as charismatic, particularly in the opening, my nose just completely disagrees with that bell pepper note and the somewhat greasy finish. The drydown is MUCH better though, it actually becomes more similar to Ganymede but flatter, muskier, more marine. Unoriginal, but not bad. Overall I'd definitely recommend Ganymede over this, especially when considering that Super Nova is actually more expensive, however, if you like the idea of Ganymede but find it too sharp and synthetic, this one might be for you.

There are a lot of challenging notes in one fragrance. The mineral, ozonic, and metal seem to be versions of the same note that don't work well together for my nose.

Not gonna lie the lady at the desk was very persuasive... smelled good on paper so I bought it, wore it at home and am now deciding to return it. Oh well.

Was given a sample of this and it is disgusting 🤮. Smells like pure metal, I dont pick up any gunpowder, green pepper, or oud in it. If those notes are in here at all, they don't stand a chance against the overpowering metal. This is the most metallic thing I ever done smelled. It makes me wanna puke. This is not warm, not inviting, not approachable, not refreshing, or invigorating. This puke inducing smell is for cold antisocial psychopaths, serial killers. As far as the seasons, occasions, time of day to wear this.......NEVER!!!! This is so disgusting you couldn't pay me to wear it. I'm not fan of ganymede myself, but if you are into these kind of notes and must get one of them....go with ganymede and social distance yourself. Yes, those 6 feet you know good and well

smells like a comet's fart: Gritty, sensory, imaginative- unisex for ET's The gunpowder and green pepper really cut to the point - it's spicy, sharp, and green. The gunpowder, metallic, mineral, ozone: it reminds me of pavement, a cement parking lot: not so much fresh sea breeze, but the realistic smells of everything but the sand. Walking amongst littered city streets, with the green pepper hitting you like a neon sign as you step over garbage. Out of my current sample bundle, I reached for this one the most. Shocking at first, and once faded, has just a cool sweet smell. The ozonic notes really linger- they are bitter, but not off putting. This scent really ignites my imagination and my connection to "place." It is very strong. Does it evoke "space"? Yes, those sweet metallic, ozonic, city-conjuring notes are unearthly/shoot past your olfactory just like a comet's fart. This is what the intergalactic airport smells like.

This fragrance has been truly an amazing experience, I looked into it for it similarities to Ganymede as I now have a great interest in the spicy mineral fragrance genre. This fragrance ultimately has two halves, the first is that it starts off very similar to Ganymede but softer and milder with the pepper note. Now for the best part - the second half! This is where it goes off and does it's own thing and forms it's own identity, creamy with doses of sharpness. It's still keeps with it's interstellar theme which I really like. Overall, this picks up from Ganymede making it more wearable, mass appealing and with an aquatic element. Is this better than Ganymede, I think so but that's my opinion lol. I will look to wear this for the rest of winter and then pop it out for the summer, definitely looking forward to it.

A more fresher version of Ganymede. They’ve blatantly copied it and not sure how anyone could thumbs down the Ganymede votes for smelling alike unless you’re butt hurt or being a troll. Less peppery and cleaner smelling. Really like this, maybe even better?! The addition of ozonic notes and ambergris are a nice touch and make this very fresh the more it dries down and moves much further away from smelling anything like Ganymede. Initial spray is definitely Ganymede but then goes its own way.

It’s isa Ganymede dupe but a very good casual one. I love how the gun powder and green pepper notes in this, makes it brighter than Ganymede, where as Ganymede is deeper and more rich. Both last a long time, but Ganymede has a more hardcore lasting power. I like to imagine a sepia painting that I have of old fashioned Texan cowboys fighting off aliens and shooting UFO’s in the desert. 👽🛸🤠🔫🐴

I prefers this over Ganymede it does not have that annoying band aid smells that is too dominant in Ganymede that I dislike, and is slightly fresher due to the pepper. A great one from the house.

It's not fair to do something that already exists and is revolutionary. Maybe it's just me because I'm attached to Ganymede. For me, it makes no sense to own both, my choice is Ganymede.

Take away the leather and citrus from Ganymede, then water it down and you get Super Nova. It’s a blatant clone. Just get Ganymede, it’s cheaper and lasts longer.

Nasty dirty sea / fish perfume in the style of Sirenis. Repulsive in a wearable way. A combination of sea + fish + metals. A more tame Secretions Magnifiques.

Ganymede direction but yet closer to Glize And it is so ACID... somewhat reminds me of Ganymede Extrait Longevity is GREAT, but not a safe blind buy!

Smells like barbecue :( I think one note is like cumin and leather , and they are very dominante .This in not aquatic scent , don’t blind buy .
