Bloom Ambrosia d'Oro

I was new to the Gucci Bloom line when Ambrosia D’Oro was just out. I find it much more interesting than the OG or other flankers currently out. It is uplifting, a bit sweet but not too much or bubble-gum, at least on me. Just enough to round out any potential sharpness from the florals. It is tuberose forward, as others have mentioned. Others described the notes, and while I know there are some synthetics in this to help lasting and projection, it has a pretty natural smell to me, especially compared to other florals out there in the designer realm. It lasts well (6+ hours on my skin, next day on clothes) and has decent projection. Unless you overspray, people arms-length will notice the scent, but it doesn’t overpower the room. I did get compliments with this, and even my fussy husband likes it. Definitely a grown-up fragrance, imho. Youthful- not dated or aging- but I don’t see a teen gravitating toward this. It’s marketed feminine and I think it leans that way based on the typical notes, but there’s no reason to be “typical” if you’re a guy and like a good floral. You’ll smell good whoever you are. This is office/work/school appropriate unless you work with people who are especially sensitive. I think this will be good for any season, but especially spring and even summer. It’s just a lovely, happy, mood-boosting floral. It’s uplifting and perfect for getting in the Spring vibe. It kind of reminds me a bit of the spirit of Bond No.9 New York Gardenia, but I haven’t tried them side by side yet. So if that is out of range, this might be a good alternative if you like that vibe.

Gucci Bloom Ambrosia d'Oro is like the original except it doesn't just smell like muted hand cream. Ambrosio d'Oro still smells lush white floral and actually maintains that jasmine, but I get mostly naturally sweet tuberose like a lite beachy version of Amouage Tuberose Love that has whipped cream. The opening is smooth like white floral lotion. There are fresh ginger slices that blend so nicely into the tuberose that develops more carnal during the mid. Both notes aren't overpowering at all and don't make this fragrance beastly, but this flanker overall is still better projecting and more present than the original. The ginger just adds a little sweet zing and the carnal tuberose a bit more enticement than just dull and flat hand cream. As it dries, the carnal nature simmers away and the jasmine comes forward smelling a little perfumey and softly sweet. Nice and bright on top of a softer Chanel Coco Mademoiselle patchouli, not a dirty and earthy patchouli. I don't notice any molecular musky notes; it's good they blended it well enough and didn't overdose on it. The ambroxan is not invasive like the Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powders eventually ends up as. This is also way better than Gucci Bloom Parfum with the same label design.

White floral compositions are what I think I have least of in my collection. I appreciate them but they tend not to be my thing. I have smelled the orivinal Bloom many times and have wanted to like it enough to buy it because i love the bottle but it has never done it for me. This I smelled by chance after watching a reviewer give it praise and I LOVE this. I shouldn't but I do. It is floral and feminine but a womanly femininity no girly here. I wouldn't even call this mature but rather modern and elegant. I feel all woman and beautiful when I wear it. It isn't groundbreaking but there is just something about it that is so captivating to me. Not surprised to find out Alberto Morillas is the nose behind it as many of his creations work so well with my chemistry. Beautiful.

This scent is addictive.. creamy, lush, dewy white florals, cool at first, but with a warmth coming through as it sits on the skin. Very sensual yet pure. It reminds me both of the EDP and the yellow Profumo Di Fiori, but it keeps the best parts of both. The clean and bright nature of the EDP without the flatness, and the creaminess and warmth of Profumo without the feeling that it’s doing too much. I tested it in the morning and by the evening I was still getting wafts of it as I moved around. Even after a shower I could smell it on my wrists. The scent is still persisting on my top the next day. It is beautifully done, the best in the Gucci Bloom line in my opinion.

This is a stunner, and I'm kind of surprised it doesn't get better reviews. It's a pure white floral that is at once rich and delicate. The ambroxan is not overpowering, it's just enough to allow the scent to warm up and meld into the skin. It smells like the most luxurious jasmine lotion you've ever used. No harsh edges or weird dry-down. It's obvious that everything about it was designed to be a bridal fragrance, from the gorgeous bottle to the scent itself. Is it redundant? Probably. If you already have one of the Blooms, you don't need to splurge on this one. But if you're looking for a rich, clean white floral with a modern skin-like quality, this is perfect.

I love Bloom d’Oro, it’s the polar-opposite of the Parfum, which I also love. While the Parfum shouts bold confidence, the d’Oro whispers quiet elegance. It’s the smoothest blend of all the Blooms to date. It is milky and dewy white florals with just a light touch of honey. The ginger enlivens an otherwise muted white floral profile, it adds depth rather than warmth. And there’s a freshness that’s quite akin to vetiver, I’m guessing from Cypriol. I find the whole composition from opening to dry down very charming.

This is a very beautiful tuberose dominant fragrance. The ginger just adds warmth and the ambrox super wasn't harsh or annoying at all. A very warm intoxicating white floral with a heavy tuberose. I have 2 in this line and don't need another but this is lovely. The bottle suits the smell and feel of the fragrance. IDK I may buy this in the future. It is just beautiful. Warm, lush, wet cream colored flowers.

Shocked by how much I like this. I am usually extremely sensitive to Ambroxan and Ambrox (as a migraine trigger among other things) but I am not getting it at all here. The creamy ginger accord here is just gorgeous and really adds something special to the classic Bloom DNA. I already own Profumo di Fiori so I’m not sure I can justify getting a full bottle of this as well but I am definitely tempted.

This perfume smells old and classic, in the best way. It literally reminds me of my grandmother's hand cream smell, a white floral, timeless, slightly creamy and rounded. I really like it, feels nostalgic but it is still pleasant and can be used all year round. It develops amazingly on the skin. It is not girly or playful, it's grown up and fancy.

The best white flowers perfume around, in my opinion. It is jasmine and tuberose, a touch of green, subtle sweetness, not pronounced ar all, not bubble-gummy at all, which is a big plus for me. Good longevity. A wonderful creation from Mr Morillas!🤍🤍🤍

It's like the OG with an added light spice/musk/warm note. I prefer the OG or Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori. But I am biased towards Florals and not the spicy notes. Your nose may differ 😉

This is the perfect scent for floral lovers, it is beautifully made, lasts a long time on the skin, you can't get enough of it, I will probably buy it again when the bottle runs out.

Soft elegant Tuberose scent. I love it!

No one does florals better than the Gucci Bloom line. I own several Bloom flankers, and believe it or not, the original is actually kind of bland to me. I much prefer the EDT version. My favorites are Bloom Di Fiori (the yellow bottle), Bloom Nettare Di Fiori (the creamy bottle with the black floral label), and I’m also a fan of Bloom Intense — not the parfum, which is much darker and bolder. This Ambrosia d’Oro is somewhat similar, but it definitely has its own boldness compared to the original Ambrosia (the red bottle). To me, it’s creamy with that rich, bold floral punch from the tuberose and jasmine blending together beautifully. I just wish I smelled more of the ginger. I get hints of it from the sharp spice, but I would’ve loved it to be more prominent. A creamy tuberose with stronger ginger and some musk would’ve been perfection. That said, Bloom really does florals — and they do them right. Do you need this? No... not if you’re like me and already own four or five Blooms. They do start to blend a bit, but they’re all beautifully done. I only have a travel spray of this one (same with Bloom Parfum). If I finish a full bottle of one of my others, I could see myself upgrading to this. But realistically, if you’re building a collection, I think you only need two or three Blooms max. Just figure out which florals stand out most to you and which perform best on your skin. I will say — this version of Ambrosia has great longevity and feels versatile enough for year-round wear, both cold and hot weather.

While I'm a huge fan of white florals I have never really been a fan of the Gucci Bloom or any of its flankers. Yes of course there exist marginal differences in their dna, but they all sit too saccharine for my taste, which I found a shame because that issue aside I am really impressed by how they portray a jasmine & tuberose duet. For that reason I was really skeptical when hearing about this, but also quite hopeful. I'm glad my hope was not misplaced. The first spritz is fresh, intoxicating tuberose and ginger. Then, on the initial drydown and for the first two hours it is a gorgeous milky, (rice? oat?) powdery white floral. Very gender neutral take on tuberose in this state despite not yet quite being woody to me. Later it settles into an inoffensive, sunscreen-y scent with the ghost of sandalwood hanging around in the background. Very pretty. Lacks the kind of longevity some of the others in this line have, but I sort of expected that; you don't often have long lasting white florals without them erring screechy or sticky. On my skin this is not the floral bomb people may expect from the Bloom line, so watch out I suppose if that's what you're seeking, but this may be my new go-to office scent for the season.

I love the entire Gucci Bloom series, and my favourites are the original EDP, the very first 'green' flanker Acqua di Fiori, and the 'red' flanker Ambrosia di Fiori, while the black 'Intense' version left me underwhelmed due to its patchouli overload. I was eager to test the newest version, Ambrosia d'Oro, but I regret to say that it does not bring anything new to the table. First, the tuberose is weakened, which is a shame, because it is precisely the dewy, greenish tuberose that makes the original so great. The addition of Ambrox Super and ginger does not make the scent fresher, just more 'neutral'. The 'creaminess' that other reviewers have mentioned is, unfortunately, barely detectable. Kuty22 has compared this flanker to NR Musc Blanc, but I don't see many similarities there either, because Ambrosia d'Oro lacks precisely the strong musk that NR perfumes are known and celebrated for. So, I would say that Ambrosia d'Oro is a nice scent overall, but nothing special, and certainly redundant if you already own any of the previous flankers (except the black one).

I think this one is more interesting than the original Bloom, which overall is a fragrance line I do like. I just feel like the Profumo Di Fiori is the best (although discontinued, tragic) with its warmth, but Ambrosia d'Oro is the closest one to that loveliness to me. (Since I'm not a big fan of the sweeter, more vanilla-heavy flankers.) So I think it's worth trying if you like white florals. Although I can see some thinking it's too similar to the other Bloom flankers to be worth buying another version. But maybe it's just separate enough to enjoy differently from the others.

If you like Bloom EDP you'll most likely enjoy this one. It is stronger more intense with the added woody, patchouli, & ambroxin notes. Longevity & projection is so much better. The added ginger is very soft. I prefer this to the OG Bloom EDP which was just too light & disappeared within 3 hrs on me. I really don't want to pay the high price for a so called "skin scent"...whatever that even means. To me skin scent is a poor excuse to even be called a "perfume". The price point is too high for this one though for what it is. Cie La Vie. 😉

A creamier, dreamier version of Profumo di Fiori. Profumo Di Fiori(yellow bottle) is my favorite of the line and I hate that it's been discontinued! Ambrosia d'Oro is similar enough to love it, yet different enough to appreciate having both. The ginger has no bite (I think of a more fibrous root) but adds a nice detail to the sweetness. This flanker lasts well into the next day on clothing and all day on my skin. It's warm, sweet, pillowy, and not nauseating. An airy and addictive beautiful floral.

The most unsweet, Tuberose forward Gucci Bloom so far, at least to my nose. The Sambac Jasmine is faint compared to the original and the other flankers to the point where it's irelevant to the overall scent. The Ambroxan kicks in after the Tuberose blast in the opening and only gives the perfume a modern touch, while not overpowering it, as it infamously does in so many other fragrances. The Ambrosia d'Oro flanker is like the big sister of the original, a more mature womanly version of it.

Tuberose presented in a classically restrained, well-tempered style. It is a polite, pleasant interpretation of tuberose rather than a seductive one. The composition offers the gentle sweetness of white florals without the overpowering carnal or indolic facets that tuberose can sometimes display. Pleasant, linear, and long-lasting, with good sillage. Simple, yet all the better for its simplicity. The bottle is charming, with a lovely color palette.

Despite all the notes listed, to my nose, this is a pretty, soft, white floral fragrance. I'm usually sensitive to patchouli and ambroxan but don't detect them in this fragrance. It's nice for layering and the longevity is decent, lasts at least 4 hours on my skin. It's a "safe" fragrance, and I'd even say blind-buy safe if you like white florals since it is so generic and inoffensive.

At first it gives the impression of being a weaker version of the original... a few minutes in, it takes on aspects of the Parfum version, a bit of that spice. I feel like it's a shadow of both, though, unfortunately. If I didn't own the original and was also interested in Parfum, I'd give this a go. I like the white bottle but that's not enough for me.

I've tried it and this smells really nice. Reminds me of the OG, slightly fresher in the opening and slightly sweeter. The lady at the store said this one smells like the New Narciso Rodriguez Musc Blanc, made me curious so I sniffed the cap, not exactly the same but they do share a vibe

On my skin I liked the tuberose opening, hated the phase after that where it has this almost cypress/ evergreen sour smell (no idea where tat came from) but then oh the dry down is heaven. Creamy, salty skin, milky sandalwood and tuberose. It starts very green on my skin but then..

I can see myself wearing this I am just not craving it. It’s a beautiful soft white floral, very elegant but not very distinctive in my opinion. I would even say a safe blind buy. Lovely just doesn’t have that thing that makes me think about it all the time.

Your run-of-the-mill, non-indolic and non-offensive designer white floral fragrance. However, I must say that the tuberose note is nicely done.

Tuberose & white flowers, a touch of coconut and condensed milk to it. Very sweet, lovely fragrance. More suited to Summer.

Am I remembering completely wrong, or is this smewhat similar to the dicontinued Hugo Boss Deep Red...? Like, the notes are completely, completely different, but that perfume has always smelt like a bag or warm rice to me. It was powdery in a non-sweet, almost slightly chalky way, the way rice starch is. Or even Deep Red mixed with Zadig&Voltaire's This Is Her, maybe...? It has that dry, chalky powderiness, and a bunch of jasmine (the kind that is e-ve-ry-where now). After the powdery-ricy notes go away.... which doesn't take that long, this only leaves a bunch of very, very generic jasmine. Super boring. You can literally get that from 10 other perfumes normally available at stores selling designer perfumes.

The white floral scent is very common to my nose. However the mix is quite smooth and comfortable to wear. I looked at my collection and I realize this comes really close to My Way from GeorgioArmani. Then I sprayed My Way on my other arm. The main accord is same but My Way is way more dominant and overpowering in a bad way. So compared to My Way, I like this one better. But still not very memorable and sophisticated to my liking. I find the Bloom black bottle a lot sexier and mysterious. This one is just another boring but safe office day if you know what I mean.

Sweeter and creamier than the notes would suggest - to my personal dismay. Take my review with a grain of salt, as I historically don't like the Bloom line. I was hopeful that this would be the one to win me over, but alas, it's still too synthetic. Smells like a creamy jasmine perfume, but the tuberose is too bubblegum-y for my taste and it just doesn't smell expensive. I could see some enjoying it, but the listed notes led me astray.

In the summer it is definitely too cloying and would be offensive! For the evening, maybe, otherwise I would suggest spring and autumn for optimal wear. The scent itself is quite a safe white floral, although this profile has been done many times. Not groundbreaking, but pleasant. Reminds me of Memo Paris - Madurai and Armani - My way. Also, initially I thought I smelled neroli, although it is not listed in the notes.

Leans a little musky on my skin, smelled a bit sweeter in paper and on initial spray. If you are a fan of the muskier powdery sweet florals this is for you. I like it but it’s a bit too powdery for me.

It’s my favorite out of the whole bloom line but still didn’t wow me enough to get it. Only if I got it on clearance somewhere.

It is a lovely feminine light, dewy white floral fragrance. It is slightly mature leaning. The cypriol gets slightly herbal on me in the drydown, a little like celery. Despite my liking this one, I won’t be getting a full bottle although I would gladly have this as a gift or give it as a gift. If you enjoy but were priced out of owning Amouage Honor or Gucci Tears from the Moon, this might be a good alternative. It is not a dupe for either one but the style of fragrance is very precise. A realistic fresh bouquet of young florals covered in a delicate misty dew. I already own Honor and Tears so this one wouldn’t make sense to also own.

First impression: this just seems like the og in a different bottle. Maybe stronger, but not at all unique in the range. Doesn’t come close to the Parfum for me, which is a bummer, I was hoping for a springtime version of it. I’m not getting any ginger, or much patchouli, it’s all tuberose and jasmine. At least the ambrox is also in hiding. Honestly it smells like lotion moms wore in the 90s. Edit: okay, late dry-down is giving Chloe Nomade Nuit d’Egypte or maybe Rabanne Pure XS for her. Still redundant in my collection, but the bottle rounds out my Gucci shelf as far as bottles and sizes so I’m torn...

Opens beautiful.... Spicier version of the original bloom... and similar to ambrosia... photorealistic tuberose/jasmine. The drydown is where I struggle which is similar to my experience with the OG... On my skin the beauty of the opening dries down to a floral muskiness where none of the sweetness is left. It’s like a vase of white florals sitting in old water that you’ve had for far too long. You don’t need this if you have the OG or the ambrosia (red bottle). My fav is the yellow bottle ...the dry down here is saved by the sweet fragrant heat of ylang

This time, the flowers are green-tinged (although not as much as in the OG edp or Aqua di Fiori); they are still nectar rich, but also the mildest in the line. Their sweetness is ambery, but also green and airy; they provide a fresher (and slightly soapy), sleepy and pale look to the abundant arrangement of the [Bloom] line, now presenting an urban, perfumey and futuristic tuberose hybrid for the new times (a bit like a fresh, romantic new idea of clouds: comforting yet light).

I‘m so disappointed... I was pretty sure I would LOVE this perfume. Was looking forward to the milky-cereal facets some people talked about, which I think fits very well with tuberose. I think I can also not smell some molecules because all I get is jasmine and a lot of patchouli. What a pity! I don’t have this problem with other Blooms.

addictive and smells great on skin (as opposed to paper blotter strip). upon spray you're hit with the ginger, it gets bright and slightly sweet with the white floral, then dries down to creamy sandalwood. has a very subtle sunscreen quality that i like. a little nutty and slightly lactonic. honestly can see this being worn year round.

The drydown on this reminds me of YSL myself. It’s like a fresh clean patchouli ambroxan that YSL myself has. (not the dirty or stinky patchouli) Mixed with the white musky florals. Surprisingly starts out feminine green and floral, then dries down masculine. I’d consider it unisex

I just smelled this at my local Sephora and it's truly gorgeous! I'm not much of a white floral person, but this is done so nicely and not too much. I actually love the tuberose in this- it's not overpowering!

I am really looking forward to this one! It's not available in Denmark yet. When will it be available in shops? I have the original Bloom EDP...

ANOTHER ONE. The initial blast was unimpressive. The OG plus bubblegum. It dries down into a lovely muskiness. It's nice, for sure.

Gucci Bloom Parfum was such a love for me! So excited to try this one!
