Flora Gorgeous Gardenia

I love Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia! It is a captivating masterpiece that has quickly become one of my very favorite perfumes and I can't get enough of it. It is perfect for me and I highly recommend it to anyone of any age who is looking for a gentle, warm, unique and special floral-oriental perfume. This perfume is supremely balanced, well blended and full of depth and complexity. I detect each of the listed notes in a gorgeous harmony but with a twist that makes it stand out unlike any other fragrance. It is at once soulful, innocent, captivating, sexy, delicate, natural and gently bold. It is not just one thing and it is not defined by any conventions. It is magical and mystical. This scent to me is in the floral-oriental category and has a beautiful warmth. This perfume opens with the top notes of pear blossom, Italian mandarin and berries. These offer a gentle sweetness to the opening and play a supportive role to the mid notes of gardenia, jasmine and frangipani. Each of the flowers are present, tender and caressing. They are not sharp, cold, linear, powdery or heavy as some florals can be. At the base is brown sugar and patchouli. The brown sugar is blended in a way brings a warmth to the composition. It's sweetness is not like a gourmand and is not edible. As a result the flowers are soft and warm. The patchouli is gentle, woody, softly sweet and grounded. It plays a supportive role and is not heavy. For me this perfume projects between 4-5 hours. During this time, the perfume exudes a capivating aura of scent. It is diffuses delicately and is not agressive. It has lovely sillage that lingers in a unique way. The base notes then hold it as a skin scent for an additional 5 hours or more. On the clothes, this scent remains for days. Even when I think nobody around me can detect the scent, my husband says I smell so good. It works well with my skin chemistry and the environment where I live. This scent exudes a quiet confidence. It is not meant to be extroverted. This scent is not for people who want their perfume to enter the room before they do in order to grab attention. There are plenty of strong perfumes on the market that do that well. I was looking to get away from that. Over the last several years I have found heavy, overly sweet or sharp perfumes to be unappealing because they are often too much and too distracting. I have even started to feel that they make me nauseous. I have a very sensitive nose. I was looking for a floral oriental: something warm, inspiring, quietly strong, unassuming and divine; Something not too strong, not too sweet and not too sharp or cold. Gorgeous Gardenia is what I wanted. This perfume makes me feel happy, peaceful and beautiful. I am exactly where I want to be with this. This perfume can be worn at any time depending on what you like. I am very happy wearing it day or night in all weather for any occassion. For me it goes with everything. This perfume, the bottle and the campaign captures a return to innocence, divine beauty and joy in nature. This perfume captures the magic of being happy and content in your own beautuful space, freeing you to be completely yourself and not defined by conventions. My happiest place is being outdoors in the sun amongst the wildflowers with my husband and dog. For me, this perfume represents the inspirational magic of simple moments in nature that must be recognised and celebrated. This is where true bliss lives. The bottle is gorgeous and very fitting for the perfume. It is the most beautiful perfume bottle I have ever seen. It is creative art at its finest. The flora artwork, the warm pink porcelain bottle, the golden cap, the spray atomiser, the description on the bottle and the matching box: this is exquisitely packaged and absolutely stands out as an ode to the wonder and beauty of nature. This coupled with Gucci's comittment and leadership in environmental responsibility, makes this perfume truly special and meaningful. Thank you Gucci for this finely crafted divine creation. I simply adore everything about this. I feel like it is a daily gift to use this perfume. Thank you for the magical, mystical, mesmerising masterpiece that is Gorgeous Gardenia!

White florals are not really my cup of tea, but the salesperson at Sephora convinced me to give this perfume a chance and oh my I'm in love. But also cause it comes across as more sweet than white floral to my nose, probably because of the brown sugar. Come to think of it, I don't get any gardenia or jasmine at all - I'm not complaining, I promise! It's a creamy, sweet fruity-floral scent, perfect for spring and I would say summer as well (I live in a tropical climate country, it's not cloying which is good). I can see this perfume is perfect for those who are in their mid 20s to early 40s. This perfume carries the image of a lovely, soft-spoken, but joyful feminine person. This is a happy scent with an elegant touch. Imagine a woman with the loveliest smile you've ever seen in a flowy summer dress picking flowers for picnic. An easy reach, everyday wear, and a crowd pleaser. I wouldn't say it blew my mind but nonetheless it makes me happy every time I take a sniff. 9/10 I might buy another bottle lol

Because of the name, this is not a perfume I would've thought to pick up since the smell of gardenia gives me a headache, but this one is so pretty and delightful to my white-floral-sensitive nose. On my skin, this scent becomes a beautifully balanced sweet floral, sweetened by the pear blossom and mandarin. While the fruit pear isn't listed, a juicy pear note comes out and really makes this delicious. I can't single out the gardenia or jasmine, and despite brown sugar and patchouli being listed, I don't notice those notes. It's lighthearteded, not overwhelming, a mild floral sweetened with fruit, sweet but not sickeningly or cloyingly sweet and appropriate for the warmer weather. I've received compliments from both men and women and this is such the perfect scent for spring. I only wish this lasted longer on me, but I've been carrying around a mini size to touch up throughout the day. This is so pretty and feminine:) I feel like wearing a sundress and prancing through the floral fields :)

Being on a gardenia kick, I blind-bought Gucci Flora "Gorgeous Gardenia Intense." And while nice enough, over time the fragrance felt cloying, dense and overbearing for my tastes. But I "like" Intense, so I decided to purchase Gucci Flora "Gorgeous Gardenia." So, I initially enjoyed Gorgeous Gardenia more so than the Intense version. And while I do detect a gardenia note or gardenia accord in GG, on skin the fragrance performs as a lovely, intense, mixed white floral fragrance with a citrus opening and a sweet, sugary backbone. I can see why Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and the Intense versions are best sellers. Overpriced for sure, the fragrance is a lovely, mass-appealing fruity-floral-patchouli perfume. Very feminine. Lasts a long time. Silage is massive. I enjoy the overall profile idea of Gorgeous Gardenia and Gorgeous Gardenia Intense. But I'm switching back to the Intense version. The brown sugar dry down in Gorgeous Gardenia is a bit too strong for my tastes.

Gorgeous Gardenia smells lovely: very floral with a hint of fruitiness.🌸🏵️🌺 It's not too sweet or cloying, but gentle. For me, it gives the impression of someone young and innocent, perhaps wandering a garden or riding their bike through some fields on a lush spring day. The opening pear blossom and Italian mandarin notes feel uplifting and bright. After a few minutes, the white florals take over and stay prominent for an hour or so. I never smelled the brown sugar or patchouli, but I imagine those were never meant to be strongly noticable. PROS: Subtle enough for office wear, clean and fresh smelling. The bottle is beautiful with artwork that reminds me of 1800s Victorian era perfumes. If your into Gucci, it will look aesthetically pleasing on your shelf. CONS: Fragrance leans on the generic side, you could easily find something similar for way less money. The longevity isn't that great, you practically have to bathe in it for the scent to be noticed.

My god this is love at first sniff, I recieved 3 x 1.5mls from boots & I'm so glad I found this at the eau de parfum stage and not eau de toilette I've never once wanted to purchase a gucci perfume but this Is next on my list and will most likely be my signature summer fragrance. Review update: I have since purchased a bottle and as much as I absolutely love the scent, the longevity is absolutely shocking for gucci 😢 it is gone off my skin in 2 hours and lasts approx 6 hrs on clothing. Its not worth the price at all I'd love to find a stronger smellalike having never tried a juicy couture perfume I am going to sample some now just too see if I can get a cheaper alternative with a similar dna. I won't repurchase this after its gone as I feel ripped off, as much as I love the scent & I do like it alot. Plus the bottle & it's atomiser is lovely unfortunately its like a body or hair mist performance for such a big brand I expected alot more.

I LOVE this scent, but HATE the price and longevity. There are other similar fragrances on the market with better longevity, but I'm never satisfied with the actual scent. The Gucci is bold, with this invigorating youthful type floral. I've seen several people say it's a granny scent--and they must have some hip grandmas. My grandmother wore Chanel No 5--so take that for whatever you will. I love the sweetness from the brown sugar, and the brightness from the red berries. This is super easy to wear, and I regularly get complimented. If you're worried about the patchouli, I have never been able to smell that note, ever. This use to be my daily wear for 3 years, but I don't find myself reaching for it that much anymore. Probably because it costs over $100 for a fragrance that doesn't last. But when I wear it, I overspray and get an extra hour or so.

This fragrance holds a special place in my heart. I've had the og EDT in the glass bottle and this version for quite some time. Definitely my signature scent for a while. It starts out with a refreshing citrusy floral pink pepperiness, and fades into a less tart, vibrant but elegant gardenia. The patchouli is also done so nicely in this fragrance. I think the bottle color captures its vibe quite nicely, it's not too juvenile or too sweet, and very refined. I'll combine/layer it with a more vanilla-y fragrance if I want to dress it up at night. However, what has retired this as the main scent I wear is that the longevity has gotten terrible--it barely lasts on skin anymore, which is disappointing for a luxury brand. Side note--I was really disappointed in the bottle when I first got it because it seemed so cheap with the paper label glued on.

This smells so pretty. It doesn't last that long but stays on your clothes and keep you smelling amazing. Sweet berries, fresh flowers with brown sugar, so delicious. Definitely a cold weather perfume. I get about four hours of it. For brunch. church, to run some errands or as a body spray. A first date perfume. For the fair, your Boyfriend walking around with the BIG teddy bear he just won for you while you eat a funnel cake. Great all year round, day or night, but I like it during the wintertime. It's innocent, sensual, shy and daring at the same time. The bottle is really pretty, heavy too. I received the gift set last year for Christmas, it came with a travel spray and a mini perfume that I keep in my baby caboodles. I love it. A very fresh, creamy, feminine perfume. BISOUS

Upon first applying straight out of the shower it smells almost boozey in an intoxicating way — think sparkling gold champagne. The dry down on my skin is very fresh and airy. It’s sweet but not in an overwhelming candy-like manner. It’s soft and feminine. It's sweet but flirty. You have to be up close and intimate to really get a whiff of it. It opens in a way that can be sensual but doesn't lose its innocence. Deep down, she's still a good girl. Snippet: escaping Paris on a summer afternoon for the countryside, white linen dresses à la Marie Antoinette, flowers in a basket, cool tiled floors in Provence countryside home, green fluffy meadow, pink kitten heels, silk mini dress, gamine heroine caught on the sweaty dance floor, edible flowers on cake, breath of fresh air.

This smells like a perfume I have owned before but I cannot place it. Looking at the 'reminds me of' section there are many votes for Viva La Juicy which I had way back in the 2010s and I can't really remember how that smelled but I vaguely remember it as more of a caramelly perfume and less grown up. Anyway this is very nice, sweet, fresh floral, fruity scent maybe even a little fizzy, like bath salts almost. Very inoffensive, a "keeponsniffingitonmyskin" scent, moreish, great for every day wear. It lasted on my skin overnight so I'm surprised at the longevity votes. Got a travel size with a view to testing for gifting purposes. Do not need a bottle but kinda want a bottle now! Very pleasing to my nose and lately I have been enjoying more floral perfumes.

This is my current favorite everyday EDT. I wear this around my house because I enjoy the smell that much. It feels comforting, and when I wear it I feel feminine and more complete. It isn't overpowering or overwhelming. For me, it has staying power which seems to make me one of the lucky ones. It's not any one particular note that jumps out to me, it's the mix altogether. I also love the style of bottle for this line, though I would prefer it were glass. That being said, I find it a bit expensive for what it is. I bought it on sale in a set with the Intense version (which is also lovely). I will continue to buy it when I can get a discount on it, or ask for it as a gift.

I have such a love–hate relationship with this one. On one hand, it’s so pretty soft, floral, and feminine with that signature gardenia sweetness that feels effortlessly elegant. It’s the kind of scent that makes you feel instantly polished and a little dreamy. But... I go nose blind to it almost instantly 😩. Within an hour, I can barely smell it on myself, and the sillage isn’t the best either. It’s one of those perfumes that smells incredible in the moment but disappears way too fast. I do reach for it occasionally because it’s great in the first few minutes delicate, clean, and perfect for everyday wear. Just wish it would linger a little longer!

This smells like simmering cranberries on the stove with brown sugar during thanksgiving time. Other people are saying this is a summer scent but I disagree. Something about it is very cold weather to me, maybe because it’s a bit rich and heavy. It is much more sweet and gourmand than you’d think based on the name, but not in a negative or overly sweet way. This one is hard because the scent is so beautiful, but the staying power is terrible. It lasts maybe an hour or 2 before there’s no hint of it left. If it weren’t for this I would purchase a full size bottle. It’s too expensive for it to be so short lived.

I have this weird phenomenon where a certain handful of perfumes come across my nose and every time my brain says, “Oh, smells like Missoni.” Mind you, they are not even remotely dupes when this happens, and it happened again but this time with my Gucci sample. I do love this scent! But if I wear it side by side with Missoni? Yeah, they’re about 85% similar, especially on the spray, but the Gucci dry down seems to lean powdery on my skin (and very Libre/Paradoxe reminiscent) while the Missoni stays more plum. I absolutely love both of these scents, but the Missoni is ridiculously cheap in comparison.

Personally, this screams spring vibes to me. It's the one fragrance that makes me feel like a classy girly girl. The brown sugar note on the dry down definitely gives it that extra somethin' somethin' and yet upon the dry down I still feel as though I can smell the middle notes which is great. I've repurchased this twice now. Considering how many I have, it's curious. Admittedly, I do practically douse myself in it periodically so that it lasts longer. But I forgive the lasting power because I've been told that this is my scent by all of my friends. This was definitely love at first spray.

if you wanna smell like a liar and a manipulator then by this JKJKJK but seriously though buy this, it is such a pretty floral fragrance and the sugar adds such a nice sweet gourmand touch that when I smell this on people and myself, I want to touch..... them and yes you heard me. I’m a dude and I have a sample size 30 ML that I got on eBay cause this stuff is just wonderful so gorgeous so pretty doesn’t last that long but that’s OK. The biggest issue really is the price at a I think it’s 150 for 100 ml and that kind of pisses me off... I don’t think it’s worth all that😭

This is one of my favourites!!!! Its sweet and floral, I can't smell any one particular note listed, it's just an easy light perfume to wear, brings a smile to my face when I spray it, I have received compliments while wearing it, its just yummy! ( not everyone needs complex notes, or 100 different notes competing for the spotlight like niche perfumes) lasts long on my clothes, not so much on my skin, very few perfumes of mine last on the skin. I will definitely repurchase along with the purple, they just super girly and fun to wear!

I mostly like sweet, gourmand scents, but I got this one as a birthday gift. I didn't know anything about this perfume, and when I read the description and notes I thought that I won't like it as much. But I do! It's a very pleasant and complex floral perfume, it's a little bit sweet, but it's also fresh, not overpowering. It's elegant, sophisticated, energizing and youthful. Althought I think pricewise it's okay, it's not a safe blind buy

I love this perfume! I’ve gone through 3 bottles already. This and Omnia Crystalline are my favourite work scents. I smell clean, confident and polished. This doesnt lean too floral, or too sharp or even too sweet. Maybe some will say its a bit boring but I think it gives me just the right amount of ‘you smell nice’ comments to get at the office. Projection isnt crazy but tbh thats what I look for in an office scent anyway

THIS IS IT. It's such a beautiful, girly perfume, floral but NOT basic, captivating, you'll want to smell it over and over again. It's amazing. I've already purchased a second bottle just in case. Longevity is OK, could be better, maybe the intense version works better, but it's not as sweet as this one. Idk why some reviews here are so sharp, don't listen to them. Blind buy safe and if not then send it to me 😊

If I had to choose my signature fragrance, this one would be it without a doubt, though there are some close contenders. It is exquisite. It's soft, but it lasts. It's beautiful, elegant, and timeless. I know all fragrances—whether budget or luxury—use synthetics, but nothing smells cheap or plastic about this fragrance. It is beautiful straight out of the gate and long after the drydown. 10/10. I love it.

Lovely magical flowers in a bottle! Literally smells so nice and clean, this is the perfect floral perfume without smelling too "grandma" or department store. I absolutely need to upgrade to a bigger bottle! it's so feminine, light, and invigorating, but really stands out and gives you such a warm aura when you walk in a room. Such a lovely fragrance for anyone searching for a nice floral perfume!

this perfume opens up AMAZINGLY you can smell the brown sugar and slight fruitiness with floral notes, it dries down to floral with slight sweetness, i love this perfume because it smells exactly like spring, the main downside of this its longevity and sillage is below average, sticks to clothes slightly but doesnt create the floral-spring-feminine-soft aura you would want from this perfume.

I don't know how I have left getting this one for so long. I have the Jasmine. Which is really strong. If you like vanilla definitely go for the Orchid. This is beautiful 🌸 🩷 floral fresh and I get the sweet brown sugar. Not so much the patchouli. I'll wear her over the next few days to get her feel. Buts she's very feminine and think she can be for older or younger women. Glad I purchased.

On me, it starts off sweet and floral, but in just a few minutes the drydown smells really masculine. It’s not bad, it’s kind of attractive but not at all what I expected from the look of the bottle and the description. Perhaps it is the patchouli? I had hopes that this would be a non-offensive work scent, but unfortunately I will have to save it for the weekends.

this is the very first expensive perfume i had, and i received it as a gift, this was my signature sent for the whole summer of 2022 and i received so many compliments on it. it starts with a floral fresh note and develops into a sweet one. my partner considers it a sexy scent and used to tell me i smell like sweets hours after i put it. i bought it again.

A gorgeous elegant floral for those who want to smell like a fresh bouquet during spring... this is also INCREDIBLY long lasting. I work in a kitchen and I sprayed around 4 sprays of this and I could smell it even while there was food being cooked and smelled it for almost my entire 7 hour shift. Lovely- ill have to buy a bigger bottle next time!

I’ve had the 30ml bottle since 2024 and I love her so much. Something about this is so innocent (not juvenile leaning), fresh, and just not sharp to the nose at all. It’s almost like a slightly sweet, flowery, clean girl scent. One spray is enough to wear to the office. I can’t believe I’m actively trying to get rid of this perfume.

This perfume was gifted to me by my partner as he knew that I love fruity and floral perfumes. It smells really good on my skin and is my go-to fragrance when running errands. On me this perfume lasts quite a long time and I typically reach for it more in colder months as during summer I want something lighter.

A scent I always find myself coming back to. Very floral and bright, the perfect summer scent. When you first get it the scent isnt super long, but when it macerates wow does it stay for a long time (day and night, overnight if you fall asleep before a shower that day). Find myself repurchasing it again

Women, listen up... You cannot go wrong with this perfume if you want to smell nice for a man. This is feminine, girly, airy, fresh, sweet, cute and fluffy. If you want to go into politics and men to take you seriously, get a short haircut and DON'T WEAR THIS... Angela Merkel comes to mind...

The jasmine is somewhat screechy to me, but jasmine tends to be too sharp. However, if I wear this on the back on my neck, I find it melts down into the most beautiful fresh, feminine scent. I have yet to find someone who doesn’t like it. A safe blind buy and generally non-offensive scent :)

Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Gucci smells wonderful, but it doesn't last long. It is very similar to Cacharel Amor Amor Tentation, which was my favorite perfume during my teen years, but was sadly discontinued. Gorgeous Gardenia was made by the same perfumer Honorine Blanc.

Floral rosado y blanco, puro, es tan limpio! Huele a persona pulcra, decente, inocente. Posee su lado seductor a la vez. Es algo unisex segun mi percepción. Creo que me proyecta más una idea de alegría, felicidad y paz, que de notas jajaja no me concentro. Lo amo!

My favorite from the Flora line! Wearing this makes me feel so girly and pretty, like I’m wearing a pink summer dress. 💖 The opening is fruity and sweet, yet still fresh. There’s patchouli in the drydown, but it’s softened by a lovely jasmine and a hint of sugar.

This smells like a cold catwalk from the 90ies lined with fresh flowers in the best way possible. I'm obsessed. Spotted in my sister-in-laws bathroom. Tried it on, could not stop smelling my wrist. Amazing longevity. I might need to grab a bottle tomorrow.

This one has the most longevity of all the Gucci Floras that I’ve tried. It is very pretty and classy. There is a good balance of floral, sweet, and patchouli. The fruits are there faintly. Over all, I really like this one. It smells youthful and girly.

I absolutely loved this perfume. I had it a few years ago and it still stands to be my all time favorite perfume I've ever had. That being said, I was a tad disappointed with the longevity of it and remain very disappointed with the high price point.

Well rounded, juicy sweet yet fresh and elegant gardenia. A very modern jasmine and the patchouli note gives it elegance as to stray away from the 2000's Juicy Couture vibe, but it still remains somewhat bubblegummy. Medium longevity and sillage.

Delicious deep berry, fresh citrus opening with a warm floral dry down. The brown sugar sweetens and patchouli grounds the base. Lovely every-day fragrance, I would definitely compliment this on someone else

Maybe the most joyful and cute scent that I like. It's not fully this way, I guess that's why I like it. It's also my date scent, it's for these dates when you feel safe to be yourself (silly).

This was a blind purchase, very playful fragrance, if I spray on my headset accidentally it stays for a long time. Smells like spring when you are 16. Very young.

I love this scent so so soooo much I wish it lasted longer!!! It only lasts on my skin for a couple of hours, and I can barely smell it when it is on.

I use to absolutely hate this perfume, but somewhere along the way I fell in love with it. It is a fresh and creamy floral, but also slightly sweet.
