Gucci Bloom Intense

Sensuous & velvety, the floral heart of this fragrance is freshened & warmed by the addition of ginger, which is present more as an effect than as a clear & crystallized note. Similarly, the florals are made soft & lactonic by the addition of coconut which is not evident in & of itself, but, like the ginger, plays a supporting role. The heroes of this fragrance are the white florals—namely tuberose—which bloom creamy & hedonistic, lifting like great pale moths from an inky cocoon of oakmoss; this dalliance resolving to a gentle haze that is both fuzzy & waxy, velveteen & buttery. I do not find this fragrance to be powdery or soapy, as some reviewers have noted. I do, however, sense darkness in this perfume where others may have felt it has fallen short; no, this is not “dark” in the more obvious or common uses of the term, nor yet may it deserve the name “Intense”. However, the darkness in this perfume is a nuanced one; the darkness of privacy & of intimacy, of that which goes unspoken, the darkness found between bedclothes & caught between hands held together, the shadow cast on a lover’s cheek by lowered lashes, melancholic in its beauty. When I wear this perfume, I feel its presence around me, diaphanous & snug as fog, & feel terribly romantic about my own life—dreaming of those who will walk where I have been & pass through the wraiths of blooms I leave in my wake.

I love the original Bloom and love wearing it when I want to feel ladylike and feminine. I just purchased this and love this too!! It’s definitely a warmer sexier scent! I find the patchouli gives it such a beautiful depth. I typically don’t care for a mossy scent but it’s stunning in this and not overpowering. The coconut is subtle but definitely there. These base notes complement the white florals so beautifully. It is not for those who prefer gourmands or sweet scents. It is more sophisticated and grownup. It’s really beautiful for date nights in dimly lit restaurants in the warmer months. I love my deep sexy scents in the evening in fall and winter but struggle to find ones that are good for warmer nights. This one is perfect! It could be worn all year if you like your florals. Longevity on me is good, 6+ hours. The sillage is good but they won’t smell you before they see you. It could go slightly unisex but definitely leans feminine in my opinion. I love scents that are a bit unisex! This is really nice, and I actually love this entire line. I’ve yet to find one I don’t enjoy. So, if this is too grown for you, try others in the line and you’ll probably find one that you enjoy!

I wanted to like the Gucci Bloom line and it's flankers but to me they smell dated and heavy in a headache-inducing way. Do we need another heavy-handed white floral with a shot of bergamot at the top? No, I don't think so. But I dutifully tried each one... the Alessandro era of Gucci was killing it in so many other ways but not this line. So I didn't have high expectations for Intense. First, is it intense? No. I think they should've named it Bloom Sensuelle, or even Bloom Estate ('summer'). It's lighter and smoother to me - addition of pear & coconut make this more fresh and the moss has an interesting green depth that the others are lacking. The tuberose definitely leans 'bubblegum' in this one, compared to the others in this line. Eddie did a review of this one (that he did *not* enjoy it) but he says one thing I agree with: if you liked the rest of the Bloom line, this might not be for you, and if you *didn't* like the others, you might love this one! I find it the most wearable and enjoyable and I'm grateful to have it in my collection.

I'm so thankful that I only applied one spray of this, and that being on my wrists so I can hold them away from my nose. Don't get me wrong, this is really enjoyable, but Alberto (big fan of his BTW) didn't pull any punches with this. It's really beautiful and jumps straight into the heart notes...simple because they're so strong. Yes, there is some citrus. But *no*, this didn't really have an opening sequence. It all serves to uphold the tuberose and jasmine. The patchouli is rather clean as well, and further supports the malange of white florals (which are...sexy). I don't smell anything oakmoss actually, but this could of course be due to restrictions and that the oakmoss is less of a force than it used to be in throwback perfumes. Speaking of throwbacks though, this doesn't smell current, or modern (I mean this in the best way). It's a classic, well-constructed white floral beauty. And it's unsurprising that younger generations largely dislike it.

I have been a fan of tuberose for a long time and often reach for the original when I want a strong, confident white floral. I also enjoy Ambrosia and Nettare di Fiori, for different aspects of the scent. I do agree that Intense takes a different approach and does not feel completely as a part of the "Bloom" family, yet I enjoy it immensely. From the very first time I wore it, I felt enveloped in this mysterious aura of a fragrance that is strong enough to be detected at all times yet brings me joy every time I get a proper whiff. To me, maybe also due to the branding and the flacon of the perfume, it has a witchy feeling to it. It is not daring enough to be the perfume of a true villain, but it can add a bit of a dark undertone to the charm of its wearer. I think it's a great perfume from Gucci, as it is likeable and complex enough to appeal to people yet still go a bit against the typical designer scents released in the past few years.

I really love perfumes with white flowers. Jasmine and tuberose are my favorite. Yet the Bloom line has not once convinced me to buy a one. It lacked conviction. I therefore had little expectations of the new Bloom 'Intense'. Especially because of the patchouli and herbs added to the notes. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The white flowers, especially tuberose and jasmine, open the fragrance in a soft and sweet way. They smell so realistic. I think the sweetness comes from the coconut. Soon the patchouli joins the scent. Where I normally detest patchouli it is now beautiful. It makes the tuberose woodier and that in combination with the coconut is great. Somewhere the ginger buzzes around the flowers. The smell does not change anymore. It gets softer and softer, after which it slowly fades out like a candle. Kudos to Gucci for this flanker. Gucci Bloom 2.0 A golden move to add coconut and make the patchouli more dominant.

I received my 1.7oz bottle from Ulta a few days ago.No intense in this fragrance at all,it actualy is very light.I would compate it to Tiffani & Co,where the impression is you smell nice,but you do not wear a perfume.The scents are completely different though ,just the impression is the same.If GBI had more sillage and projection,I would appriciate it more.Other than that,I have never smelled anything similar before.That makes it very unique,but if you can really smell it.I will leave it for a week or so to see if the air in the bottle can make the juice a little bit more saturated,but as for now I am a little bit disappointed.The scent is lovely,white flowers mixed with earthy aromas,as a scent I prefer this one over the original,would be definitely love and I would repurchase it If I can make it to be louder.Barely detected.My cheap Avon's perfumes have much better projection.

The Tuberose takes the back seat in the Intense version & thank god! I had to get rid of my Gucci Bloom, all I got was a hardcore Tuberose, not even the bubblegummy kind. It nauseated me. This is beautiful. Falls along the lines of Di Fiori, which I have 2 big bottles of, (gotta backup in case they change it). The Jasmine saved this one! Edited to add~ I still like it better than GB, but It's not a love for me. This has something weird going on, maybe just the combination, b/c I love every note in this. Doesn't last long at all. Def not a loud scent either. This is going to have to be a no. I'm just a Di Fiori girl I guess.

Although it gets harsh reviews, this is a great parfume for summer! Lightly sweet and delicate floral. I knew I had to have it the moment I tested it in the store. Sampled a few times afterwards to make sure it is not just a crush that I'll get over quickly. Tuberouse parfumes are too much for me, so I prefer this over the OG. Think a semi transparent dark red better describes this scent, as it is by no means a "black" parfume. Defenetly made in into my top six parfumes for this summer. The only complain I have is the longevity of 4 hours. But I can leave with that, just bringing with me a decant to reapply after lunch.

This smells nothing is like the original bloom, which I love bc it comes off as very “natural”. I’m enjoying the mid layer of bloom intense and picking up on something whimsical and airy here as it “blooms”. The dry down is interesting too as it becomes a skin scent. I appreciate the structure of coconut/patch/moss base. It smells clean and slightly musky, but different than other scents that use vanilla, musk, resins, or woods in the base.

Closest thing I can find to the discontinued unicorn JPG Fragile. Sharing the notes of tuberose, jasmine, ginger, orange blossom, and tangerine. Nostalgia. Buying a bottle or 2 Edit 3/10/25; I have a 30ml of this - I am so surprised people say this disappears quickly, because I find this stuff potent! Lasted me all day and 5 sprays almost choked me out! Large to moderate projection.

This surprised me because I’m not the biggest fan of the OG Gucci Bloom and although this starts out somewhat similar it has much more depth and a beautiful dry down in which I can really detect the night blooming jasmine and coconut. It’s not a sweet tropical coconut though but rather a natural just cracked coconut scent that I find absolutely beautiful.

I love tuberose In my fragrance, and this did not disappoint.. The only downside I would say is the longevity which is expected from a Gucci designer fragrance, house. This fragrance is beautiful and perfect for an office wear because it is quite safe. It doesn’t project much and doesn’t suffocate the room.

This is so beautiful and sexy. It smells like something a faerie would wear. She's sweet, soft, floral, and ethereal. Definitely perfect for spring or summer. I wish it lasted longer, though. I haven't smelled the original so I can't compare the 2, but wow. So pretty!

This is the sweetest of the Bloom line. The pear note is very upfront, the ginger note is quite light. I detect no mandarine. The coconut is very subtle. Overall this is extremely juicy but still sophisticated. If you want a sweeter version of Bloom go for it!

This is so elegant and beautiful, intensely white floral with some spicy undertone. There are no fruity and powdery notes. Crowd pleasing but still stands out. Polar opposite of Gucci bloom, since that one smells like urine to me for some reason.

This is perfection. The original and flankers. Perfected. Strong. Heavy. Thick. Dense. Patchouli heavy. Creamy coconut. Beautiful Tuberose and florals. Just perfect. So much more bold. This may be the best Bloom. Period.

Sweet clean floral fruity. Smells like spring and summer together. Pleasant for morning, effortless sexy and feminine! Makes me thinking of happy sunny days eating fruits in a garden full of fresh flowers :)

First spray is heaven on earth coconut tuberose..night blooming jasmine...but fades away in no time. I can't understand what happened but I love that its something innovative from Gucci.

I get so many compliments every time I wear this. Feminine girl summer in a bottle. The pumped up white floral and tuberose is a hit on me, for me and with me. Love it.

Gucci Bloom Intense is a nice step up from the purely white floral bomb of the OG Gucci Bloom. As its title suggests, this is a deeper, darker and more intense flanker, with added green, spicy and mossy notes. If Gucci Bloom is a garden in a warm spring day, with tuberose, jasmine and sweet, nectary white blossoms, Bloom Intense is that same garden at 4 AM, drenched in dew, bringing out the scent of the grass, the earth, and sharp, pungent, sweet grass accords. The addition of patchouli and ginger adds a slight funkiness not found in the original, which gives it that much darker vibe. However, Gucci Bloom Intense is still a white floral-forward fragrance. The moss notes help ground it, and the subtle citrus adds a slightly piquant edge that reduces the cloying, animalic aspects of the white flowers–especially the vanillic jasmine and bubblegummy tuberose–this is still a sweet scent. The flowers actually drown out the coconut and and pear, and even the patchouli isn't super assertive, though it does make an impression. These additional, earthier notes elevate Bloom Intense as a versatile, all-seasons fragrance. I really like this, however it has little lasting power on me. Maybe a few more tests will prompt me to change my mind. Update: I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND. I love it. I guess the tester I used was weak. It performs for about four hours. This is going to be my go-to fall floral this year!

I typically don't like Gucci scents. Based on the reviews and the notes I would've passed on this. I skin tested anyway. What a lovely surprise. I was greeted with the sweet bubblegum-ish opening that reminded me of My Way Intense (although once tested side by side they dont smell alike) but that tuberose is prominent and beautiful. I hate patchouli and moss but I never picked up on it. I dont get the coconut either as a distinct note unfortunately. This is selling extremely well. Nordstrom and Macy's were almost completely sold out today. I was disappointed how short lived this fragrance was. After about 2 hours I had to press my nose on my skin to smell it. I tried to revive it with a cloud like cotton candy body mist I had on me, but the Bloom Intense behaved like it was completely dead and wanted no help coming back. Was labeling it Intense a cruel ioke for my nose? I was standing 2 feet from my cousin and she couldn't smell it on me. Despite no sillage or longevity, I'll still add this to my ever growing wish list.

I was shocked by how much I like this. It does smell familiar to me but I can’t quite place it. Currently “The only one intense” is listed as most similar, but it’s not that. I have that and I compared them side by side and that’s not what is triggering the “I know I’ve smelled this before” feeling. I am hesitant to buy a bottle because I feel like once I realize what it is, it’s going to be something I own. But I really do think this smells lovely. Edit to add: it’s Chloe Nomade that it reminds me of. I see a lot of people mentioning “creamy” and this doesn’t come across as creamy to me at all. It is very sweet though, so I think you either have to enjoy the sweet perfumes or at least have certain days where you crave them. I feel like perfumes as sweet as this, they sorta grab my attention at first, but when it comes down to actually wearing them on a consistent basis, I tend not too. It’s a pretty scent but I think it’s a little too in your face with the sweetness level.

I just happened to get this in the mail and the only thing I've done so far has been to spray it on paper to test smell it. It's gorgeous but it seems like it's really weak for what it should be. I'm going to have to be around it longer than 45 minutes. I'm praying this is just a one off. I wanna love this. According to the notes I should. And I do but... hopefully it gets better. Edit it's now July and I've spent some time with her and... I sold her. I couldn't get it to last on my skin for the life of me. Crazy enough it didn't last much longer on my clothing.It's a gorgeous fragrance don't get me wrong on that but INTENSE it is not imo. I have other fragrances that I own or want that I know will be better for me, so sadly I sold her to a new home on Mercari. I'm honestly jealous of the people that this is genuinely intense for. This is the first intense version of anything that I didn't love the "intensity" of 🫤

This perfume is like others have said super “perfumey” and to me it’s very fruity. I definitely smell lots of pear here with maybe a touch of the citrus. I do also smell the coconut some haven’t gotten. I feel like it dances with the pear and the pear over powers it some. I don’t smell much of the ginger - maybe just a pinch. The flowers in it are toned down to me as I smell tuberose way in the background and more of the night blooming jasmine but almost as if the jasmine and fruit were meshed together if that makes any sense. This bloom isn’t exciting or unique (to me) like the others are. It just smells nice and you might get compliments but I prefer Nettare and Ambrosia much more! I can see it being more appealing to people who like a fruity floral. I prefer more floral florals lol!

Still has the original Bloom’s jasmine and tuberose but there is something deeper here. I’d choose this over the original any day. I think I’m reminded of Nishane Hundred Silent Ways? They’re both fruity, warm, sweet, cloud-like jasmine scents. However, another fragrance entered my mind. If I smell up close, I get the same back of the sinus hitting scratchy scent as YSL Mon Paris. Is that patchouli maybe? They share similarities in the pear, orange, jasmine, moss, patchouli notes. However, Mon Paris is much more fruity and has an aquatic aroma from calone that I do not enjoy. Into the mid and dry down, it mellows out into more of the base notes. There’s nothing that holds my attention to even write about. It lacks longevity.

This is a good well rounded white floral. The different flowers are blended and balanced to not be able to easily pick up on them specifically. The supporting notes are subtle enough that you could layer this with absolutely anything, but it isn’t quite boring all by itself. That’s a very difficult combination of qualities to find. The only other scent I’ve found that fits that bill is Kim Kardashian, but it’s more boring than this.

The sweetest version of the Gucci Bloom line. Sexier and denser. But the scent is not too special, and the fact that Gucci increased the sweetness in this new version makes me feel that the authenticity of the Tuberose scent is completely reduced. So I still prefer the OG version, it smells fresh, slightly green like a real bouquet of Tuberose. Rating: 7.5/10

Most of the Bloom line is pretty broadly pleasing. This combo of white floral, tuberose, and spicy plus a Very sweet note is a more particular scent. Not a safe blind buy and I'm having trouble making up my mind about it. Doesn't smell like everything else without being a full niche-type "is that even perfume" vibe.

Yea this is a deeper and sweeter floral compared to the original It also has a little grape thing going on I found the dry down very enjoyable and sexy smelling Love that this is quite balanced out, not too sweet or light or heavy. I dont really get the hate this scent is copping right now, I think its great.

This is such a nice every day perfume. I thought it will be more night time appropriate but it's not. I love this jasmine, moss and patchouli combo, smells sweet a little fruity and earthy. Nothing groundbreaking and I wouldn't pay the full price either. Lasting power unfortunately not great.

I love the red and yellow bottles of the Bloom line. This one is another pink bottle and smells right for that part of the line. Moss and mixed floral. The drydown is broadly appealing and completely wearable, it just lacks a standout note which is something I prefer.

Strong tuberose & jasmine bomb with some sweet notes to balance it out. Ultra musky. VERY pretty, but it made my nose itch. I would recommend it to others even though I don't plan to wear it myself.

Very beautiful and sexy rendition of Gucci Bloom. If you like the original and want a deeper darker version of it for going out, this one would be a great pick.

Really just a great date night perfume. It kind of gives 'typical perfume department smack to the face' but i personally like that smell a lot.

The "intense" in the name lives up to expectations. Like many reviewers have already mentioned, it's thick, dense and strong. It has a suffocating quality, unfortunately, especially when you smell it indoors. It may be better suited for outdoors. It is definitely a going out type of scent, suitable for nighttime. Could be overwhelming and distracting in an office setting. It bears some resemblance to other scents which include white florals that were released in the recent years, such as Prada Paradoxe. I would not be surprised if it was created with support of a computer program/AI since it has generic characteristics. Nothing new. I like other scents from this line more. For example, Ambrosia di Fiori, Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori or the original one.

hoo buddy, it sure is a white floral fragrance. “intense” is right. the sweetness helps cut the bouquet a little but it still tends a little too much toward “perfume that smells like a perfume” territory for everyday use to me. I like something with a little niche-house-inspired intrigue, even from a designer brand like Gucci — I’ll stick with my Gorgeous Orchid, thank you very much :-)

As much as I love Gucci Bloom, I find the Intense version so fruity, the floral aspect gets lost. The original Bloom still wows me whenever I crave tuberose and having some jasmine thrown in does not hurt. It's a simple plain jasmine scent. From the hood ones, but still nothing to be head over heels about it. I had high hopes due to the night blooming jasmine which I adore. I like the other Gucci Bloom better, it's also a jasmine one, but creamier and smoother.

I definitely expected more from this. The notes sounded so interesting but it ended up a light white floral scent. Maybe a bit earthy. The bottle is so pretty though :/

A gorgeous white bouquet at peak fragrance, supported by fruity amber. There’s also a subtle coconut and some spiciness like black pepper. It’s very nice.

Don’t waste your mom money I own this one and very disappointed for the price. It smells good but doesn’t last passed 20 minutes.

Intense being in the name is very misleading. It lasted only about an hour on my skin.

This does nothing for me. I barely get it's a Bloom flanker. Somehow the florals are muted to my nose. It may have a moss note blended in there, but it's hard to say. It has a patchouli that is uncomfortably buzzy to my nose. On my skin it's calmer but confusing. Where is the coconut? (If you told me Gucci Bloom Parfum had coconut I'd believe it; that flanker is very smooth, creamy and sweet). On a test strip it's airy, but there's something too fresh. On my skin it's unattractive. I'm thinking it's the patchouli that comes through as textured and the blend overall doesn't work for me.
