Gucci Guilty Love Edition Pour Homme

I’ve been binging on all the Guilty fragrances lately, and this one stands out as the lightest and most airy, and it’s more citrusy and crisp, less sweet. It feels like the Dior Homme Cologne of the Gucci Guilty line, where it differs quite significantly from the OG edt version and presents itself as a super casual, light, clean, totally inoffensive fresh citrus fragrance that you really can’t go wrong with in summer. This excels in hot weather and gives a very refreshing and energizing vibe. The opening is gorgeous, it’s fairly bitter and a bit tart, which is what makes it work so well in hot weather... it stays fresh and never too sweet or cloying. The opening has moments where reminds me of Mr. Burberry EDT, just a sort of bright, tart, and crisp citrus with some bright green/floral elements mixed in. They both have patchouli, vetiver and lavender in common. The green elements mix with the opening citrus and pepper and add a crisp kick to it, mixed with the warm, underlying floral notes and some very light resinous/woody vibes, but for the most part this feels like a purely citrus/green/floral concoction. Like I mentioned before, the opening has a note that really reminds me of Mr. Burberry EDT, and the heart and drydown reminds me of Dior Homme Cologne and Dior Homme Sport. This does almost feel like it could be a CK One inspired unisex scent at times especially with the floral notes in the drydown, but it’s never feminine and leans more masculine the whole time. Great scent, very refreshing, but as usual with the Gucci Guilty line, performance is not the best, be prepared to spray this one frequently. It’s not abysmal as far as performance but it doesn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped. My third favorite in the Gucci Guilty line behind the EDP and Eau, and a very solid and welcome addition to the line.

Gucci Guilty Love Edition Pour Homme is an aromatic, citrus, floral and woody fragrance. Its opening is citrus and aromatic, where it is possible to perceive the freshness of some citrus fruits accompanied by fresh spicy notes such as pink pepper and rosemary, as well as floral notes such as lavender. As the minutes pass, a note of geranium is also noticeable, which gives it a slight metallic smell, until reaching the drying phase with some woods, particularly patchouli, although there is also something that gives it an earthy sensation, which I want to assume is due to vetiver. The smell in general retains part of the DNA of several fragrances from the Guilty Pour Homme line, being quite close to Guilty Black, where herbal elements predominate that bring it closer to an Aromatic Fougere. This version of Gucci Guilty Pour Homme is fresh and aromatic, providing a very pleasant clean sensation, which makes it ideal for use during the day, in outdoor activities, office work, at school or even in closed spaces, since Its projection is discreet. In terms of longevity, it lasts between 6 and 7 hours, and its sillage, as I mentioned, is discreet. Guilty Love is an easy-to-wear and very nice fragrance, but since it is a limited edition I would only recommend it to those who like the DNA of the Guilty Pour Homme line, especially if they know Guilty Black

I first stumbled upon this fragrance while browsing in my local Sephora. My first sniff on the test strip I was instantly hooked! To my nose it smells quite unique for a designer fragrance. I initially got like a pine smell but very natural pine not synthetic which I guess is from the rosemary. It somewhat resembles the dna of former Gucci guilty releases but not to the point of imitation. I noticed a lot of people on here said the longevity is weak at least on my skin I got a good 6 hours before it faded to a subtle skin scent. FYI that was with only 2 sprays on my forearm. Once I try it again I’ll make sure to not have another fragrance on so I can spray my usual amount on my neck and wrists. Can’t wait until after this weekend’s cold front when the weather is much warmer that way I’m sure it will prove to be it’s best performance in the Florida heat. All in all, so far this new Gucci guilty release seems like it will be a welcome addition to my collection.

I have to admit, I really enjoy this fragrance. "Generic" is not the right word for this. It is a safe, fresh, and great smelling scent. I enjoy it right through the opening to the deep dry-down. I own and also like Gucci Guilty Pour Homme and the Intense version, but this one adds a different level to the fragrance. Definitely get that strong fresh aromatics from the kumquat and the mandarin in the opening and then plays down to a really nice dry-down with that nice earthy/herbal blend. I got complimented right when I walked into the office, really refreshing and inoffensive. Longevity: 5-6 hours (Average) Projection: 1.5-2 hours (Average) Scent: 9/10 (Love) Would recommend if you like the aspects of the original Gucci Guilty Line.

Delightful. Bright citrus notes at the top initially reminded me of a CkOne Summer release. And as pleasant as some of those are, they are typically linear and a bit boring. This one has much more depth than I anticipated. The juicy opening gives way to a subtle, drier freshness (evidently rosemary and lavender, though I don't pick up much of the former). The vetiver lays nicely against the patchouli, which, like in all other Guilty releases is very smooth. I don't get as much of a clean laundry vibe as others have described. But maybe... the outdoor terrace of a juice bar that is located directly adjacent to a laundromat. Yeah, I think that's the vibe I get from this. Very nice. Easy choice for spring or summer.

I think it's really nice ,it is different enough and just smells great. It's a great smelling scent ,that's the point right? Sorry to all the frag nerds that want to smell like a piece of wood that was shoved up a donkey's ass and then dosed with gasoline and dipped in garlic butter , I just want to smell good for different moods and occasions and this is a damn good smelling scent. I think it veers off a bit from guilty black into something that is a little better, and it actually performs pretty well if you give an extra couple sprays. It just smells super clean, but different from other standard clean scents. Its worth trying if you're a fan of the guilty line

Gucci Guilty Love Edition Pour Homme Such a bright juicy zesty lovely opening from the ginger kumquat orange and spiciness from pink pepper. Some of you may feel it's kinda generic amongst the freshie but it still smells really lovely, a little tard sweet yes but juicy sweet. The lovely opening goes off rather quickly and opens up to lavender and rosemary and drydown to more earthy and herbal. Folks who is into designers and freshie will like this. Overall fresh juicy lovely soapy laundry vibe. This probably performs better in cooler conditions as it's performance is just about average settling becoming a skin scent rather quickly.

Really enjoying all the moves that the Gucci Guilty line has been making lately. Gucci Guilty Love Edition smells even better than it's predecessors. Gucci Guilty Love Edition probably isn't going to appeal to newer noses, and may fall short within the niche/premium/indy group. Despite its niche-like quality and smell for for being a designer fragrance. But wow, Love Edition would make for a lovely casual or office spring or summer fragrance. Definitely going to cop myself a bottle once it hits discounters. Performance/Longevity are above average. Most people will achieve an easy 6-8 hours with 4-6 sprays. 8.5/10

People are gonna say this is generic, but in my opinion it’s quite an awesome people pleaser. It’s in a similar category as Acqua di Gio Absolu, but it seems to have a pear note and also more gourmand elements. Can’t remember exactly what “mall” designer fragrance it resembles the most, but whatever it is it smells better than that. My girlfriend said it is amazing and she’d love to fall asleep to the smell. The bottle is also awesome and there is a Love feminine counterpart too so if you have a girlfriend you can get her that and get yourself this one

I bought this for my husband at Christmas. In store, on the dabber, I really smelled the spicy ginger opening. On my husband's skin it smells much different. I really like it on him. It has a slightly sweet and aquatic smell yet still masculine. The notes do not point to this at all so maybe it is his skin chemistry changing this quite a bit. It is great for those times where you don't want a pungent, in-your-face men's cologne. He really likes it, too!

This fragrance describes " LOVE" as bright,+fresh from floral ,citrus and spices aromatic, This smell of love bring happiness to life for sure, (unless you are negative person.) In my opinion the bright side of this smell can be medicate for stress or mental health problems too. It will not make you calm but Happy and love the moment in your life. ❤

Smells good ignore the negative hate your gonna see.Def something good for warm weather and differnt from the usual strong citrus summer scents you get usually.A clean scent that will not offend anyone.Just nice to have a lil something that dont burn your nose like most citrus heavy scents.

Fresh and zesty ginger. Sophisticated, yet also quite sensual. Perfect for spring and summer. Lasted about three hours on my skin and seemed to project relatively well. A truly enjoyable scent.

Smelling this now. Pretty unique for a designer, a bit mature. Verging detergent with an initial sharpness. I don’t hate it. Not amazed. Edit for dry down.

Not a bad fragrance per say. The kumquat/rosemary combination is quite appealing. But there's better options out there.

Just smelled this in store. This will be a hit in 2020 summer. I will ne picking this one up

I just sampled the new Gucci Guilty Love Pour Homme! I have it on a blotter, and my forearm. Very nice! I definitely get vetiver and ginger. The ginger kind of smells like that designer generic smell. There is a very relaxing floral quality to this. All in all, I like it! But I am on the fence to purchase it! I'm walking around the mall to see if I like it enough to purchase. It is a limited edition. Edit: On the blotter, the citrus notes have a cold feeling to them when I smell it. But that's all I get. On skin, the fragrance actually transforms into a relatively spicy green scent which a touch of floral. It is refreshing, and certainly ideal for anyone looking for a great scent to add to their collection! The bottle alone is beautiful! (My favorite color also). There is a slight, *slight* sweetness which may be from the benzoin. It has faucets that are similar to the "Cologne" with the rosemary and patchouli. Also similar to the way the patchouli is used in Absolute. The dry down right now is definitely patchouli and benzoin. For a first impression, this gets an easy 8.5/10. Edit #2: So I sprayed this probably 7-8 hours ago, and while it is a skin scent now, I still detect it on my arm. Wow! It is not radiating, but still, I'm shocked to see it there still ever the slightest!

Initial impressions, I feel fairly middle of the road about this- I don’t think it deserves the low rating of 3.1 that it currently has, but I definitely wouldn’t be giving this a “love” either. In the grand scheme of mall designer fragrances, you could definitely do worse than this (Original Gucci Guilty, Im looking at you), but is in not way groundbreaking. Solidly mainstream, inoffensive, and unobtrusive, but doesn’t always mean bad. Very light and aromatic, you get more from letting it waft to you than sniffing yourself like a mad person. Average, or slightly above. Edit: After giving this a try for the evening, it’s a take on the very familar orange vetiver men’s fragrance with a slight floral feel from something that adds a softness but just the slightest heft, however it definitely remains very airy and almost fizzy at times. There is a dose of nostalgia also because it does remind me in the dry down to some familar 90s men’s fragrance that I can’t place. There was a chill in the air tonight which Im sure quashed it’s performance, but still fairly fleeting. Only at the very end to I get that ambrox bite in the dry down, it keeps the rest real light but still noticeable until the rest of the notes drop off.

I am not that big a fan of the "Gucci Guilty" line of fragrances but while I was at the store I saw the green bottle of this new flanker & decided to give it a sniff! This is just my first impression off of a paper strip.. Right away I could tell that this new "Gucci Guilty Love Edition Pour Homme" was very connected to the original Gucci Guilty fragrances! The most recent flankers for men "Gucci Guilty Absolu, Gucci Guilty Cologne" strayed quite far from the original Gucci Guilty DNA & are quite daring fragrances! This Gucci Guilty Love Edition takes it back to the original Gucci Guilty DNA & smells a whole lot like Gucci Guilty Black to my nose! Very fresh, very green, very soapy, very Gucci Guilty! I do have to say this may be the most pleasant Gucci Guilty fragrance I have smelled as it maintains that pleasing Guilty DNA while coming off a lot less synthetic & a lot smoother.. There is a really nice citrusy kumquat note in there along with a nice clean patchouli.. It's really pleasant! If you like the scent of Gucci Guilty or Gucci Guilty Black but want something a bit less synthetic smelling, this might be for you!

I really like the opening. If I had known this smelled like it did, I would have bought this over Gucci Guilty Black. The only difference I'm noticing is the opening. I love it, bright, spicy, citrusy. But it dries down so similar to Gucci Guilty Black that I'm having trouble convincing myself to buy a bottle especially at the current discontinued prices. Maybe if I can get a deal on a bottle, otherwise I'll just have to enjoy my decant until it's gone. Opens like Coach for Men then goes to Gucci Guilty Black.. Edit: Finally got a full bottle, granted it's three years old. I really have to over spray this frag to get it to last but I'm ok with that. After so many high heat summer days with most of my colognes seeming to be suffocating, this is a welcomed change. I can wear it to smell nice and raise my confidence and not worry about being sick of it 8 hours later when it's gone stale because this just tapers off instead of transforming into a nasty hangover. I love how fresh it remains while still having character that's not based on musk.

I want to make note that I believe the advertising campaign actually hints at the general feel of this scent overall which is of fresh clean laundry, almost detergent-like but not unpleasant. As such, it presents itself far better on fabrics than skin, where I notice it can have a harsher edge when smelled close. I’d also like to add now that I’ve had it a couple weeks, my girl actually enjoys it and wears it herself occasionally as well. She enjoys lighter fragrances and this fits that in the fact that its very airy and fizzy but pleasant. Not going to be a standout in your outfit, but a light playful accessory if you’re into this style.

Just added the new Gucci love edition to the Guilty collection. Gucci brought it back home to the original while refining the edges and adding some new character. I was never a fan of the original guilty, but since Gucci’s new direction I’ve been becoming a bigger and bigger fan. Gucci Guilty love edition is very reminiscent of the original but it’s been modernized with unique and quality notes that makes it standout from its predecessor. If you are a fan of any of the original Guilty pour hommes then I would recommend trying out this release.

First 10min I get orange & ginger on top of a touch of Guilty Black in the background. The dry down of GGLove begin to turn synthetic & cologne-y. I find Black to be more fresh & rounded w/ a cooling effect. Sexy ass Lavender & very clean patchouli dominate. Black all day baby 💯 👑 Edit: 11/25 The drydown has changed for the better. No longer is it synthetic, It’s now more of a warm hazy Fougère towards the end, I really like it now.

Green fresh and fougere with aromatic herbs and ginger and a nice peppery woody base with a slight hint of citrus and amber. In my opinion it’s pretty mass anppealing and a great masculine scent for summer and spring. Performance is average but a great fragrance nonetheless.

@rosetinteddream I blind bought this one when first got into frags and I still love it. I don’t think GGLE smells cheap, the ingredients are definitely of high quality. Wish I bought my bottle from you instead of nordstrom’s 😂 Glad you found something you like better though!

Clean fresh fragrance that's perfect for spring and summer. Great for outdoors and or just casually lounging around the house drinking a cold one. It's fresh,it's soapy. It has a clean clothes right out the laundry vibe. You will not offend 1 person with this cologne.

Similar to the OG but with an herbal/vegetal twist in the opening. Nice change up, though may not be unique enough to warrant owning this and another from the Guilty line. Overall, very pleasant fragrance, especially in the dry down.

Smells great. Clean. Should do well in a variety of situations based on first sniff. Have to do a comparison but reminds me of the original. The problem I have currently is the performance. Seems to die down after 1 to 2 hrs.

After a while with this fragrance I decided I like it! It's perfect for out of the shower, work, or laundry day. It's super fresh with a little spice. Pretty basic but I think the kumquat gives it a little bit of an edge.

Mmm, the opening is so great, but the dry down is hideous! Smells like straight-up body odor to me because of the strong patchouli and vetiver combination.

gucci black meets cacharel eden. for about 25 minutes, then it's gone, baby, gone. 6/10

The advertisements looks so promising with the launderette. I usually love soapy scents. Guilty Love seems to me as an aquatic. Smells like a cheap alternative to Versace Pour Homme. Disappointed! Not bad. Just an unnecessary shrug.

smells exactly like gucci guilty elixir but with a fresh citrus opening for the first 30 minutes. if you like gucci guilty elixir then just get this and save some money lol

Lovely fresh smell, crisp and clean, doesn't seem to last long enough though. Several sprays before going out, and it's gone by the end of the night.

Not a BAD scent profile by any means - just super forgettable and boring. Smells like any other fragrance you've probably smelled in your life.

Man, Gucci can hit it out of the park (Gucci Guilty Absolue (M/F), Memoire) or fall flat on it's face (Guilty Cologne Homme) and here they fail once again. Love Edition smells like cheap Motel 6 soap. I was in the GUCCI boutique recently and sprayed this in the air to test and a customer making a purchase turned to me and said "Awful, isn't it"? 'nuff said.

Tested this one at the mall today with some friends, safe to say neither of us was impressed, not even the sales lady, she said it smelled like a lot of other releases, and she was right, very boring fresh spicy citrus combo, starts off very artificial too, the drydown was better but by then it was very weak.

I love what Gucci has been doing recently with releases like Gucci Guilty Absolute, Cologne, Oud etc.. but this one is pretty disappointing. I don't blame Alberto Morillas or Alessandro Michele but the higher ups who decided they need to make more revenue. This is just so generic and forgettable. 4/10

Cool! Another flanker that smells just like all the other mall scents! The color of bottle is sure to draw people in. This is a typical sour-fruity aromatic. Very typical smelling. Next.....

My sister works in the beauty industry and recently acquired a load of free perfume. This is one of the bottles that was offloaded to me. Been test driving it for a few days, and it is truly sub-par. You gotta love how the PR departments of these Sephora-shelf houses try to drum up interest and fantasy for their dime a dozen flankers. Kumquat??? Gimme a break, Coty. That’s not what I smell at all. This edition of Gucci Guilty opens with a top note of “middle class suburban man after his post-gym shower.” I can picture this man vividly (I hooked up with tons of them in high school): Eastern European parents, middle management at a bank or something, 30-ish, minimally decorated condo... and just as I get a sense of this man, he is gone without a trace! Two hours of wear, MAX. This makes me feel like I’m 18 again. Would not recommend!

I was walking around Ulta looking for something new for my husband, and this one was my favorite among the new ones I tested. It stuck out to me because it is very fresh & clean and not headache inducing or sickly sweet. I think it would be great (i.e. non-offensive) in hot weather, good for if you're looking to add variety to your Light Blue, etc. summer rotation. I didn't catch any one note in particular, to me it smells like a man that has good hygiene. I quite like it.

When I first got into perfumes, I blind bought this and Gucci Guilty Black. I will say that these two were definite blind buy mistakes. I can’t help but find these as cheap smelling, and very juvenile. I don’t mean to sound so harsh, but after smelling some better quality scents...I just don’t even see the appeal in these besides the packaging and marketing. I sold both my bottles together for $40 cause even though I paid more, I don’t find them to be worth it. 🥀

A surprising fragrance: not your typical fresh citrus-intensive summer scent. A light mandarin is noticeable but soon transforms into a soapy delight. It smells very clean. I don't think is generic at all because is pretty distinct. Longevity is fine in the tune of 6-8 hours but after the first 1-2 hours it is more close to the skin. The bottle is very nice too. Overall a masculine soapy fresh scent that is perfect for the office or everyday. 10/10.

This along with most of the Gucci Guilty line is made to be one thing: people pleasing and easy to wear scent. It excels at that, which is why it receives most of the hate that it does. Is it generic and “boring”? Sure. Is it meant for the people who throw shade at it for being those things? Nope. This is something you grab when you wanna smell nice and get compliments. Whether you have 4 bottles or 400, it’ll still work the same.

The fragrance itself is very one noted. When I spray it on myself it only smells of lime, which is strange as the only citrus in it is mandarin orange. It lasted no more than 30 minutes on my skin and didn’t project at all. It smells okay, but is not worth the price.
