Gucci Guilty Pour Homme Diamond

oh my gosh this is SO MUCH BETTER than the original, I dont now why, but I dislike the original but fell in love with this at fist sniff, even though they are similar, there is something much better (better blend of the notes??) in this Version, I didnt happen often to love a cologne at the first sniff so it must be The One :)

I can understand why those who owned Gucci Envy are disappointed in this series because I am one of them. Even if you just walked by a fragrance counter once, long ago, and smelled Envy wafting through the air, you will remember the difference between its lush and intoxicating bouquet and the much weaker Gucci Guilty series. Even the name is less provocative. Guilty? Guilty of what? Aren’t there enough things and people in life that make us feel guilty? Must Gucci make us feel guilty, too? I would rather people be envious of me than I feel guilty about anything, including wearing this. Nevertheless, I did take a sniff of Gucci Guilty Diamond and decided if I could set aside my memories of wearing Gucci Envy and the feeling I was “settling” for something less glamorous than I expected, I might be able to enjoy this fragrance mostly because it does have the most distinctive leafy, green patchouli aura of any of the Guilty series. GGD certainly has flaws.It does not project especially well and its longevity is questionable; however, if you really like lemony patchouli with a splash of neroli, as I do, then you might wear GGD when lazing about on a summer day poolside or when in bed with somebody who will be close enough to you (skin on skin close enough) to really enjoy your aroma. These I can recommend. Maybe next time they'll start over from scratch and pick another Deadly Sin like “Lust” or better yet, “Avarice“. Yeah, how about it Gucci? Just drop all pretenses, get down with your own bad, avaricious self and call the next release “GUCCI GREEDY INTENSE”. That may fit just right!

it sooo crazy to me , i just notice i have this version .. i didn't think for once that i have a male perfume 😂😂. but it soo feminine and smooth and similar to twilly d’Hermès ❤ . i its more feminine than the female version 😂

i wore it to highschool in 2016 and all the girls loved it, so this is the fragrance that got me into cologne. don't remember what it smelled like tho, just remember i liked it lol

Gucci Guilty Diamond Edition is masculine citrus aromatic. It exists as an artisan version of the original Gucci Guilty, that's been blended up to be fuller-bodied and more complexified. In the cologne facet of this fragrance, you get Gucci's signature Italian lemon. Deathly potent. Stingy, but icy. Then a sweet, seemingly unique mandarin backing it up—with what seems to be like a little bigarade (or Seville orange); and the faint presence of some seemingly indistinguishable fruits that form a ghost cocktail in the distant background. Probably white peach, fig, pomelo, and lime—if I had to guess it. In the aromatic facet of this fragrance, you get an extremely well-blended array of textures and accents that give the fragrance its depth and appeal. The most prominent is an accord of sweet leaves, lavender, orange flower, pink pepper, and coriander. The sweet leaves aren't distinguishable, but the body that they add to the fragrance is noticeable and very nice. The lavender is unique and has a beautiful smell to it. I'm not normally a fan of lavender, but this one has been fixed up perfectly, or is seemingly perfect itself. The orange flower seems natural, yet is sweet and perfumey; while the pink pepper and coriander seem to provide the finishing touch with a subtle abrasive texture. I would consider this a flawless version of the original Guilty as far as a well-rounded composition is concerned. Another thing to note is that this fragrance is super potent. I almost killed myself the first time I put it on. I had to dilute the last of my sample with a little water. It doesn't seem to carry well in the cold—but in the heat is absolutely stunning and beautiful. Sweet, stylish—and flawlessly cut. I personally love it, and it will be a staple in my collection for as long as it's around.
