Cherry Blossom 2021 Millésime

I have a generous sample of this fragrance. The color of the juice in the bottle is misleading, this version of Cherry Blossom should not be pink, not at all. It's should be a dusty green. It feels not so much like Japan, but more like Ireland in early spring. It's a lonesome walk, on a very fresh, brisk, cloudy morning in early March with a bit of a haze in the air; the mood is pastel greenish gray, introverted, pensive, quiet. The combination of notes is reminiscent of Bvlgari The Vert, except not as bright and energizing, muted, blurred, veiled, powdered. Very much a green-white tea combo, with citrus, a touch of flowers and sweetish powder at drydown. A skin scent, doesn't project much, doesn't last very long. Not girly. Mature. Unisex. The flirty, frivolous, juvenile floral decoration is completely off. Strangely enough the composition has really grown on me. I crave it in the mornings now, in a cozy way, like a favorite scarf -- soft and intimate, this fragrance is not for the world to admire, but for the wearer to cuddle in.

Ordered mine in Japan, available for pick up on 1/Mar. For the scent, I've sampled it on paper at their Parfumer shop in Hong Kong (and very sadly I have no idea about what real cherry blossom smells like), the scent is like a pink mist of powdery floral, together with a hint of green tea, jasmine, white musk and some citrusy grassy base. After asking the customer services of Guerlain, most of their stock goes to Japan with a very limited supply worldwide (mainly in their Paris flagship 68 shop). They have received quite a lot of complains last year when 2020 limited Cherry Blossom was Japan exclusive. This 2021 limited will not be available officially in UK and only single digit goes to Hong Kong (and all has been reserved by VIC already). If you could find one you should buy it for collection immediately.

حس قدم زدن در باغ گیلاس ، در اوایل فروردین ماه ، در یک صبح ابری و مه آلود، زمین سبز و درختان پر از شکوفه های صورتی، چیزی شبیه رویا... هوا رو به خنکی میرود و درختان ، برگها ، شکوفه ها وچمنها از بارانی که شب گذشته باریده است پر طراوتند. نسیمی که با رایحه ی مرکبات و چای سبز و شکوفه های گیلاس می وزد ، عمق جانت را جلا میدهد... یک عطر بالغ ، ترجیحا بالای ۳۰ سال با ماندگاری و سیلاژ متوسط، با بطری زیبا که روی میز آرایش خودنمایی میکنه ( شاید نیمی از پولی که هزینه میکنید ، پول بطری زیباش باشه) و در درای داون خیلی کم پودری میشه. دوستش داشتم❣
