2022 version in the clear bottle with white label and black cap: The most beautiful musk, rose, and iris scent. This is a clean musk fragrance that isn’t complicated. It’s a rather straightforward scent that possesses a mixture of rose, iris, and musk. It dries down to the base of musk fairly quickly with a hint of vanilla. The musk smells very similar to the one used in Shalimar Cologne. In fact, I think the drydown of Eau de Lingerie is the same as Shalimar Cologne with less vanilla and more muted. The musk does have a powderiness to it. I don’t get any sandalwood. Lasts ages on clothing and its lasted quite a long time on my skin as well although I have to put my nose to my wrist to smell it. On clothing it pleasantly wafts around me for hours and hours. This is a decent fragrance in terms of longevity and what it’s marketed for. I don’t spray my underwear with it at all. I wear it on clothes, skin, and spray on my bed sheets. Don’t let any negative reviews deter you from this if you enjoy soft powdery musks. This is worth the bottle.

One of the best fragrances I have ever smelled. It is sophisticated and light but it has just the right amount of sweetness added by the vanilla. It is not gourmand though, which I appreciate. The musk, iris, and vanilla are the most noticeable notes and they are blended beautifully. This is very versatile and I can see it being worn in all seasons and in all occasions. It almost reminds me of Glossier You, but without the spiciness from the pink pepper, which was the only thing I didn't like about that scent. To me, this is what Glossier You should've been. A light, slightly sweet, beautiful skin scent. Definitely signature scent worthy, I am in love with this and will hopefully have my hands on it soon.

Eau de Lingerie is one of the most comforting fragrances I know. The sillage is next to zero but it lasts all day on my skin, at least my wrists...

Good golly gosh, this stuff is amazing on my skin, and clothing, etc. My screen name gives me away! It's light, but the clean musk lasts as a skin scent, especially through the night. It's sweet, but not sugary. My husband loves it on me. There's a tiny touch of cashmere in the musk. It's only slightly powdery so it's a bit more modern. My only wish is to have a stronger edt (the iris and rose). Otherwise, I'll be getting another bottle. The others in this collection are nice too. Oh Guerlain! P.S. - there's a bottle change. Hope that doesn't mean a major reformulation.

This is a VERY SOFT scent, which of course makes sense because it is aimed for intimate wearing. I personally adore it. It is very fluffy and smells of light vanilla, almond and powder on my skin. At first when you spray you can barely detect any smell which had me worried, but eventually it DOES warm up on your skin enough to detect a light skin scent. This will not project. I adore Guerlain's vanilla base and while this has it, it is not as heavy. This is perfect for when you want to wear something for yourself and not offend those around you in a public setting.

This is a very pretty musky, iris skin scent. It is soft and has that undeniable guerlainade base. It slightly reminds me of l'instant magic but is of course much weaker. I'm not sure that I would rush out and purchase a FB but I will enjoy my decant.

Perfect blend of makeup powder and baby powder. Touch of fluffy vanilla. Smells like feminity, plush blankets. Narciso Poudree wishes it were this

To me, this is the definition of coziness: Eau de Lingerie has a good balance between musk, powder and sandalwood accords. The scent itself is rather soft, which makes it suitable to wear indoors at home without risking a headache. The scent profile hardly changes during dry down and even though the scent is soft, the longevity on my clothes is easily 24 hours. All in all, this is an unpretentious and simple scent, but I think this is exactly where its charm lies.

Huge like. Soft, sweetened powder with musks. Very silky and lowkey. Not technically meant for skin. I haven’t gone ahead to purchase it because it’s so soft and quiet for what it is. But very lovely nonetheless

Guerlain Eau de Lingerie is very soft, gentle, clean smelling. It reminds of my beloved Kenzo L ́Absolue. However, Kenzo stays on my skin a whole day. Guerlain lasts only for one hour.

I tried this in the Guerlain Boutique in Paris last week and i loved it. Soft and sensual. There was also a complimenting scent for bed sheets!

The scent is so delicate, perfect for nightwear, although I prefer the cashmere version more. It felt a little bit sour for me, a citrusy more than musky or floral

Smells a lot like baby powder to me, which has always been a scent I’ve disliked, and definitely doesn’t say “sexy.”

Fragrance Review For Eau de Lingerie By Guerlain Notes Iris Rose Vanilla Sandalwood Musk Ambrette Guerlain and lingerie perfume don't really go together in my book but I thought I'd give this a try. The Agent Provocateur and Victoria Secret perfumes can also smell more like day to day casual scents and body sprays. Guerlain has also made the Petit Robe Noir scents which I think are school-girlish. This is not. It's more a body lotion and light body spray type of aroma. It does match up with little slips and nighties. But this is not a pheromone or sex bomb. You wear this with your nightie to bed, to sleep, not to sleep with someone. It's a comforting relaxing sweet floral and vanilla scent to ease your entry into slumber land. There is no top middle or base note progression. The whole thing is linear and quite simple. The fragrance is floral with powdery iris and rose so if you like roses and iris that smell like powder this is what this smells like. Little scented clouds and puff of powder. Very delicate. Feminine. Almost like baby powder. The longevity is an issue as it does not last longer than 40 minutes but that's just about the amount of time you need to smell it as you fall asleep. This is great for spritzing on after a shower before bed. There's also vanilla and light touches of sandalwood and ambrette. The vanilla powder is very lovely and matches with the rose and the iris accords. This is a skin scent that really does smell like your skin but 10 x better. It reminds me of other body skin type perfumes like Boudoir (only Boudoir is more spicy and not calming at all) or Desnuda as well as Bronze Goddess. This is simple and mature but very nice. It won't be to your liking if you don't care for powders. I haven't worn this in a while but I do like it and it's also pretty good to spray in the bedroom or your bed sheets. Smells like a pink bed with floral prints on it.

This is not a review but when I manage to get this gorgeous bottle of underwear fragrance I'll write a full review about it. I know that I haven't wrote any review lately because I'm passing by some awful events in my life & no money or time could be spent shopping at uxurious paces like sephora or paris gallery or such. Anyway,I always used a small pink dove soap bar to scent my whole wardrobe & I always use eizabeth arden 5th avenue to scent my expensive underwear & sleeping wear. I think Guerlain products are exeptional & totally worth their prices. I always loved their fragrances & now I'm a fan of their cosmetics line that I can't go anywear without, now that they managed to make a line of lingerie & lingerie scent I have not only make a makeover of my boudoir to match the scent but to change my whole warderobe of lingerie to go with the gorgeous bottle. I think this is made for ladies like Marilyn Monroe & I think the scent is so faint not to offend the fragrance the ady is wearing. There's also some deodorants that is specially made for intimate areas so why not using a fragrance specially made for underwear as well? and before you guys speak a single word I'm not working in guerain company or for them though I wish I can cause I always &forever will be adoring fancy stuff & glam ♥ I'll be back with a review later this year with a thread specially written for this fragrance if you ladies want so.

Lingerie is pretty expensive for such a simple fragrance mist or body mist that I could have bought from Victoria's Secret. I'm not complaining because it's such a pretty smell but it's pretty shocking that the price was so high from their online store. This is one of my most expensive frags from this year! I was expecting something a tad more mature from Guerlain. This is a very light powdery floral fragrance. My nose detected rose and iris as powdery florals very dainty and similar to the rose and iris pairing in Shalimar Initial. There's a dry down of vanilla which is very nice. It all turns into a very nice sort of musky amber and woods with a lot of vanilla. The scent is not very long lasting. It's pleasant and makes for scenting your closets, lingerie drawers, and pillow/sheets/bedroom. I love the bottle. I have a huge bottle and I love the pink color but it's not something I'd wear out in public with friends/girlfriends/dates. I'm keeping this in the bedroom. A boudoir fragrance of sweet vanilla and roses. I love roses and vanilla so this was a treat. Could have been worse. I like it. Thank you Guerlain.

I got this in an online swap, so the bottle was part used. I don't think that's affected the fragrance though. It's lovely-a very light evanescent skin scent, more of a mist or the lingering notes from a body wash rather than an EDT. It's not at all sexy or erotic-the term lingerie makes it sounds as though its designed for silk and satin clad seduction, although its far more innocent (I suppose 'white cotton panties' wouldn't be too good a name for a fragrance though!). I've been using it as a pillow spray rather than a fragrance-its subtle and understated but far nicer than the harsh chemical scent you get from fabric conditioners. I don't think I would have bought this as a full bottle-it is expensive for what it is, but its a lovely touch of luxury. It's not a complex fragrance, its fairly linear with very soft notes of iris and violets, and some smooth vanilla without being overly sweet. It's creamy and smooth, very gentle. I can't comment on longevity because I fell asleep!

Another Guerlain fragrance to forget...The scent itself is pretty. Very musky, not a laundry clean musk, not animalic either, but the kind of musk that you find in Mon Precieux Nectar and Annick G. Quel Amour!, which is that vintage old scent that was very used to scent the clothes and wardrobes. Itis very powdery as well and flowery-sweet...really a beautiful scent, but extremely WEAK!! after 3h it is even vanished in the clothes...and btw, a perfume just for clothes?? since when you can't use an average perfume?? actually most of them last pretty damm good in the clothes...I honestly think this was a pretex from Guerlain to make a super-wwatered down scent and still charge the price they are charging... TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Guerlain please...stop being so greedy..you are starting to look a bit desperated after our wallets..

Meaning bed sheets? I don’t think so. For bed sheets Guerlain proposed us ( decently) EAU DE LIT even since 2006. It is powdered, subtle , vague almondy. Skin, skin, skin scent .( and I’m not a stutter, just highlighting it’s subtility). I don’t find anything provocative in this smell, as the marketing setting intended by using this shameless “LINGERIE”. But oh, that’s right ! “Lingerie” sounds better than “underwear" when it’s whispered in your ear or when it’s labelled on a bottle. I ‘d rather see it as a fragrance for the pijamas ( with teddy bears) than for the Axami corset. My conclusion? Beautiful but ..totally devout. PS : If Sharon Stone would have worn it in Basic Instinct, Michael Douglas would have taken a nap, totally relaxed about the beautiful but dangerous blonde.

sugarshield, I agree with you.. look at its content.. 125 ml! a "real" perfume wouldn ́t cost 65 euros if launched by a house like Guerlain.. maybe the difference between this perfume and a "real" one, is the concentration in its ingredients; if dedicated to lingerie, they should be less aggressive to skin, especially if sprayed on underwear.. I honestly wouldn ́t spray most perfumes I have on the underwear.. since it ́s something it is renewed daily, why spray perfume on them? a weird concept indeed, but I ́d like to smell it to try to appreciate the difference.

Going by reviews was hoping for more from this fragrance, something warm and musky with a hint of baby powder... not on me, my chemistry is obviously all wrong for this, my first thoughts were, what a cold fragrance, it reminded me instantly of a cold day with an icy wind and icicles hanging .. no warmth, no rose, no babypowder, just an awful dusty cold fragrance .. dont rely on the good reviews here try a sample as I did.. Nothing at all about this perfume would make me want to buy it, just the opposite.

Vie Cafe: You're right, I just remember some old time rich and famous, one of them I think is Duchess of Windsor scented her curtain with L'Heure Bleue mixed with Mitsouko. There's nothing wrong to scented out lingerie or bed sheet, it's a personal matter, and Guerlain sees there's a potential niche market for crazy lavish women like Duchess of Windsor.

Not bad, but I like the Eau de Cashmere and Eau de Lit better. This smells a lot like Prada Infusion d’Amande on me, actually. There’s a almond-like dry vanilla feel and a hint of that almost pasty edge that never quite appears fully here or in IdA. It’s not bad, but I don’t adore it like the Eau de Cashmere.

So Guerlain rebottled this one too into their (L'Art & La Matiere )Les Matiere Confidentielles Line and its $180 USD along with 3 others like Eau de Cashmere, Eau di Lit and renamed Eau de Bain into Eau Secrete. in case someone is looking for the scent and doesnt want to overpay for the discontinued bottle.

The scent is incredible, but longevity is awful on me. And on my clothes. The scent is close to L'instant Magic, which i already own, so I might send this back unfortunately. I would keep it if it performed better. If you are looking for a softer version of L'instant Magic, then this is for you.

In French, the word « lingerie » means underwear for EITHER sex. It is a neutral word and doesn’t have the same connotations of sexiness that the same word has in English-speaking countries. Many of the reviews below have missed the point. This is not supposed to be a sexy fragrance.

Guerlain is clearly starting to downgrade their image, Eau De Lingerie...I mean it doesnt make any sense. and the bottle looks cheap and boring, something you'd find in the dollar store. It might smell good but so far the composition is not that promising or a new breakthrough.

Never underestimate the power of sex and love. Products that related to both are the world's second sell-able items after gold (I think, maybe should be drugs). I think the bottle is ok, match the image that you may find this kind of color tone at the lingerie department.

Soo so cozy. If the fresh blanket scent could be coupled with your favorite powder and your flowers blooming beside you - it would be this. It smells sensual and soft and comforting. This is great if you want a pretty scent.

This is a Room Spray! I have two other Room sprays from Guerlain. They last for days and smell so amazing! If you like something special for your Boudoir....give a special gift to yourself. I look forward to trying this!
