Eau de Lit

When I was a baby, I was gifted a perfume called Dragee Kaloo, it was commonly worn in France by kids and such back in my day. This smells exactly like that, though it's much more expensive. Really pleasant smell, gives clean, cute baby vibes. Good night sleep for sure.

I was NOT prepared for how Eau De Lit would make me feel. Fresh from the bottle, it greets with a bright, citric lift tempered by a delicate spiced nuance—crystalline and bracing, reminiscent of freshly pressed linen swaying under a spring zephyr. An undoubtedly charming entrance which strikes only the most harmonious of chord, immediately soothing my senses. As it mellows, the fragrance unfurls a powdery softness interwoven with faintly nutty, almond-esque accents. Comforting, grounded, this amazingly strikes that tricky middle ground between cozy and refined. It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, but it nails what it sets out to do—operate in the periphery as a "fragrance for the sheets", never cloying or ostentatious, leaving behind only that absolutely indelible impression of quiet elegance. A real workhorse for those in pursuit of serene domesticity.

It's not pink at all ;o) Spicy aromatic, even sharp, with citrus nuances. It has no connection with rosy bottle, but with wonderful dreams in aromatic bed.

very lovely keeping it for those special romantic nights as longevity is not long maybe 2 nights. Great smell for sheets but high price tag

I tried this once long ago and remember it as a lovely blend of herbs and woods, with sweet chammomile and hay notes.

top notes: citrusy, fresh-green, spicy, alittle sweet, very pretty mid notes: citrusy, spicy, more subtle nothing crazy for me to be honest. give this a respectful 8/10.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how much this smells like Zoologist Rabbit. That scent kind've makes me sick so... idk about this. I was able to buy a full 125ml vintage edt (not the linen version) for <$100 so no lost. I can decant if needed. If you want to test the old vs new. I do not have the new version though! So, I gave this a wear on skin how pretty! If you like Rabbit you will absolutely love this. Even if you dislike it you can find beauty in this scent. On skin I'm getting the anise, sage, and musk. Like someone else mentioned those anise seed mints coated in sugar for days. This is the exact smell! I also get a bit of linen or cotton think Cedar Chic. This doesn't go licorice-y, I do love my licorice scents in moderation. Its a beautiful scent honestly. The musk is really making it feel cold. I could see this being a cooling mist on a hot day. Similar to The Vert by Bvlgari or those actual cooling perfumes from Thailand. Or an extra dry cologne from 1900s. I almost sold this scent without trying on skin or proper sampling. Once I smelled anything similar to Rabbit I bunny hopped to the hills. 😂🤷♀️ Can anyone say the older version and new smells similar? Or does anyone see a similarity to Rabbit on paper?

It’s springtime, almost summer. You’re in a cozy cottage deep in the woods. Everything is green and sunny. A warm breeze ruffles the white sheer curtains in the bedroom window that’s open while you’re taking an afternoon nap. You smell the subtle herbal aroma mixed with some woodsiness, a light musk and sun-warmed sage tickle your nose. You snuggle down into the clean, soft bed linens and comforter with a smile on your face, lazily awakening. Your partner has thoughtfully poured you a cup of lightly spiced herbal tea on the bedside table to enjoy before you get up to face the world. This is the scent of Eau de Lit. Gorgeously light and powdery after the opening. I can’t wait to spray my sheets with this.

There are two versions: one will read “Eau de toilette” the other “fragrance for the sheets” you can spray perfume on bedding there’s nothing special about that but the one specifically made for the sheets might not last as long on skin. I bought the EDT from 2006 and it’s performance is of a regular edt and I adore it! Soft, powdery slightly herbal sweet. Gorgeous and ethereal. Edit: longevity is as good as any edt and it has very nice projection. Soft fragrance bubble. Nothing like L’instant magic which is creamy and sweeter. This opens herbal leaning green then fluffs up and becomes a little sweet. Sort of like Cologne Blanche but I like cologne Blanche more because it’s sweeter

This is for my bedroom not for my lingerie but then the name fits. In French lit means bed. This is for the sheets. A sweet spicy and atmospheric perfume that smells like fresh country air. Neroli, an orange grove, along with country sage. There is no need to fear because this is very powdery and subtle and doesn't smell like you brought the smells of the farm with you. It's a lovely powdery vanilla toward the dry down. I spray this on my sheets and the scent comforts me as I drift off to sleep.

This smells exactly like the French candy les anis de Flavigny the fleur d'oranger ones. Its the little white candies with an anis seed in its center that come in an oval tin. A very lovely scent.

I use to own a bottle of this. It's not a perfume it's sheet/lingerie spray. Very lovely, soft, calming, herbal aroma, but staying power is not great and it's totally overpriced for what it is.

Not sure why a home fragrance is on Fragrantica...but this is lovely....for the boudoir sheets <3
