Eau de Tulle

I have finally found my wedding day scent. This is absolutely stunning! To me Eau de Tulle is a delicate vanilla with light citruses, refined orange blossom and the scent of Italian sugared wedding almonds lingering softly in the background. This is grace and elegance in a bottle. To me this has similarities to Dans Paris by Celine, which I adore and was my original wedding day pick, however Eau De Tulle is lighter/arier and more refined. I don’t see any similarity to Dama Bianca, which isn’t a scent I personally enjoy. I wish Eau de Tulle came in a 200ml bottle! While it says it’s available in the bee bottle under the Bouquet de la Marie name, I haven’t been able to get it on the Guerlain website in the UK. Either way this will be a forever big! 10/10! Since this is a re-release of Bouquet de la Mariée, maybe a re-release of Baiser de Russie will come in the L’art & La Matiere collection in future 🤞

Stunning stunning stunning. I owned a bottle of LPBJDMV a few years back and was hesitant to repurchase because of how ridiculously expensive the bottles go for now. This smells 95% similar and the only difference is this is slightly lighter and a little more gourmand whereas LPBJDMV was a touch more floral. That being said, the performance of this is STRONG. I can smell it strongly hours after applying. The scent will linger even after you’ve taken a shower so be careful not to overspray. One of the most beautiful perfumes I have ever smelt. It smells like if you combined Angelique Noire and Mon Precieux Nectar, with a touch of Cuir Beluga. This is an elevated Love Don't Be Shy if you're into that scent profile. Im so happy Guerlain brought this back.

This was such a surprise to me, because I was expecting something much lighter. It's not that it's heavy, but it's a middleweight rather than ephemeral perfume. The prominent notes that I get are patchouli and chocolate. To be honest, I was searching for the Angelica, since I love it in Angelique Noire, but - perhaps it was the heady-scented environment of Harrods that disguised it - I really couldn't detect it. However, while it wasn't what I expected, I do really like it. It somehow felt like 'me', and was incredibly comforting. I need to test it more to get more of a sense of it, but my early thoughts are that (i) my family would probably not like it; but (ii) that I think this could be something I wear just for myself, and that always feels right.

Having tried this and also compared it to Bouquet de la Mariée at the Guerlain boutique, I can safely say that they are 90% similar, with Eau de Tulle being more gourmand, heavier on the tonka. It's a gorgeous, ethereal scent that sensually blends vanilla, orange blossom and almonds. Think sugared almonds at a wedding, spritzed with orange blossom water. I would love a bottle, just because it would be a pretty addition to my perfume wardrobe. However, performance isn't amazing for what you're paying for. One generous spray on each wrist lasted for about 5 hours, it became a skin scent after an hour of spraying. But then again, it's Guerlain. You appreciate its artistry.

This is was an immediate full bottle purchase. I did not need to wait for the dry down on this to know that this would have a home in my collection of fragrances. This is a masterpiece IMO. This starts out bright, fresh green citrus on me and then melts into a creamy, sugary, incense-y almond orange blossom. It almost takes on the “doll head” note, but in the best way possible, delicately sweet and incredibly feminine. This fragrance made me tear up at the fragrance counter as it transported me back to time with my grandma as a child. I feel so incredibly lucky to own this fragrance. Also can’t wait to layer this with my Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21🤤

Guerlain Eau de Tulle is a soft, airy fragrance that still manages to last. It feels light and elegant without being too faint. It smells very close to the current version of Le Plus Beau Jour de Ma Vie that you can get filled in France. The older version of Le Plus Beau Jour de Ma Vie is sweeter and heavier, while Eau de Tulle is lighter and more delicate. Even though it’s soft, it lasts really well. I sprayed it on my hand, went outside, and could still smell it hours later. Overall, it’s a beautiful, easy-to-wear scent—light, refined, and long-lasting.

It really does remind of Le Bouquet de la Mariee and Le Plus Beau Jour, but this is much lighter and airier. It will be perfect during the warm days in California. It lasts a really long time on me, but sillage isn’t that great. Which again, is fine for summer. I also find it to be not nearly as sweet as the other two, esp Le Bouquet. I am very happy with my purchase. Also, if you hate patchouli, don’t worry. I never get any here, and although it’s my favorite note in perfumery, I don’t think it would go too well with the rest of this fragrance.

Holy shit?!? This might be the best fragrance I’ve smelled since I fell in love with De Profundis back in 2022. This has very similar vibes to scents like Dama Bianca and A Kiss of Bliss. Powdery, sweet, ethereal. This is sweet but so incredibly classy. I don’t even have a boyfriend but if I got married today I would wear this. Not sure if I should take the plunge and get the bottle. Unfortunately this doesn’t really come in smaller sizes than 100 mL, and I vowed never to buy 100 mL bottles again...hmmm..

Beautiful. This is extremely similar in DNA to La Bouquet de Mariee and Le Plus Jour. The orange blossom is prominent in the opening but dissipates quickly. It adds freshness unlike the originals if only fleeting. I own the original formulas, treasuring them for special occasions. I am ecstatic for this reformulation so that I can now douse myself in this beauty without fear of using my treasures all up. Well, at least until the inevitable discontinuation. 🙂

Yes! It’s similar to Le Bouquet de la Mariee. For those in the United States who can’t easily purchase Le Bouquet de la Mariee, this will give you an essence of that fragrance. This is so Pretty. Wedding scent appropriate. I love it. Edit: I must be a lucky one because I have been wearing it for 4 hours with moderate projection and silage. I hope it will Be permanent otherwise, I’ll probably end up getting a back up bottle. Huge blind buy success for me.

This went from Meh to Like to Love quick! Pretty much obsessed at this point. Wearable all year and anywhere IMO. I think $250 is kinda of a steal if you think about it, with today's fragrance prices. It's an EDP with fairly strong projection and great longevity. The bottle is exactly the same as in their L'Art line. Only a matter of time before Guerlain realizes this and up the price to $275 or $299.

Ignoring the scent notes, the opening smells like green patchouli - then followed by a beautiful airy musk and vanilla. Very light but beautiful. Unique and perfect for spring. The dry down is spectacular- airy fluffy vanilla and musk. This is a perfect signature scent if you want something that gives a “your skin but better” scent.

It's aight... to me this is just Mon Guerlain but with orange blossom instead of lavender. The patch in the dry down is just like MG. it's not earthy or dirty though so I can thankfully tolerate it. I engraved my bottle too so I guess I am kinda stuck with it. Update: After a few wears, this is changed to a ❤️

LOVE instant on wish list to buy a full bottle orange blossom creamy chocolate but light and airy with the clean musk. And for a new formulation of Guerlain this projects 💯 will be buying

It is delicious—addictive. To my nose, this fragrance smells of sweet white flowers, slightly powdery. Guerlain's quality is unique!

This is the only EDP in the line, and at first I really did dismiss her a bit. On spritz I thought she was one of those perfectly nice, well-bred, faintly boring vanilla-musks that smell alright but are ultimately forgettable. Another musky-aromatic-vanilla-powder? Fine. Next. But she grew on me! Which, frankly, is a much more flattering trajectory than smelling impressive for ten minutes and then collapsing into generic beige sweetness (looking at you, Eau de Cashmere). The opening instantly made me think of Mon Guerlain, an almost lavendered (?) softness. What reaches me first are not the listed top notes in that tidy sense, but a sort of airy warm aromatic-sugar cloud, a perfumed haze, powdery but a touch too old-world. Then the scent deepens and that is when she stops being generic and starts being classically classy. By the drydown I get quite a lot of patchouli, but it is wonderfully folded in, not at all loud or muddy. The note here is darker and smoother, more like the shaded underside of the perfume. It gives beautiful depth without murkiness. The vanilla changes too. What started as something airy and aromatic becomes more vanillic in a richer, fuller, almost resinous way, and I almost get this incense-y orange-hazelnut praline feeling. It is toasted, ambered, and faintly confectionary, with the texture of smoke and polished wood. I love how the scent goes from floating lavendered powder veil into something warmer and much more knowing. Ladylike but not prim. The kind of scent I'd imagine as a self-possessed young woman who looks entirely contemporary from across the room, but then you get closer and realise she has inherited certain tastes intact. Old lipstick cases, handwritten letters, proper blouses, a fondness for things with history. She shares roots with her grandmother and is, secretly, a bit of an oldie. I mean this as the highest compliment. By the end, it even reminds me of Zouzou by Celine. Softly shadowed femininity, powdered ambered elegance, sweetness but with depth. Unmistakably of her own time, but carries wistfulness somewhere in the grain. Aristocratic in posture, but not in soul. I like it.

A very strong like (though not quite a love) from me, this is an orange blossom, sugared-almond and musk scent, and is very pretty as you'd imagine. It is rather gigantic, white and bridal as the name suggests (tulle being the fabric bridal veils are made from). Wedding favours in the form of sugared almonds dominate through the opening and mid, backed by quite strong, non-acidic mixed citrus. It does conjure the image of a breeze blowing through long, white translucent curtains, but this is a bedroom (or perhaps ballroom) inhabited by only the most high-femme, pearl-wearing girly girl you can imagine. The powdery white musk-vanillic almondesque drydown is like the compression of Venus herself into a perfume format, and as a guy who wears feminine fragrance regularly (e.g. Chamade, Nahema, etc), this is one of very few I find too feminine even for me, and I honestly suspect several women will too (think white and pink frills, the whole shebang). There is just barely something of the glazed-over, frenzied look of a bride in total ecstasy, not for anything illicit but rather that the serviettes truly do match the freesias on the tables, she was able to get the singer she wanted etc. etc. Eau de Tulle is in high, pure white heels, the single curled hair strand is indeed falling as it should from the side of her face, the lashes are done, the makeup is done, she looks perfect and is drinking in every moment of it with the fervour of an addict taking their very last hit. This is quintessential, high-pitched, almost shrill girliness expressing herself in a rare moment where it is socially permitted, and she is taking no prisoners (bridesmaids beware). Even the sun itself is afraid not to shine in just the right way. The only criticism I can offer is that I've smelled such ultra feminine girly musks as this before, but I find Eau de Tulle is more polished and "tighter" in execution than essentially all of them. It's also, to my amazement, very recognisably Guerlain, in that it is powdery and vanillic and also extremely camp. A great frag I shall never wear

The first notes to rise gently are soft, sweet white florals. There’s a hint of blossom, slightly viscous, as if infused with nectar. The top notes feature a subtle citrus accent, making the air feel light. This is the most significant difference compared to the previous version, Beau Jour de Ma Vie. Whilst that had a nutty, rounded sweetness, this leans more towards the sweetness of sugared confectionery, like dragées. It’s slightly powdery, yet leaves no heaviness behind. In the heart, that sweetness spreads like a veil. True to the name ‘Tulle’, it is light and airy, blurring the contours. The sillage is gentle, drifting softly as if following the warmth of the skin. However, the impression changes when applied to the skin. Whilst the florals linger for a long time on a scent strip, on the skin they fade away quite quickly. Instead, a delicate dragée-like sweetness remains, settling into a slightly dry, incense-like nuance. The finish is quite delicate. Although there is sweetness, the contours gradually fade away, and before you know it, it feels as though it has dissolved into the air. It ends somewhat differently from the gentle floral longevity I experienced on the test strip. Therefore, if I were to purchase it, I would feel inclined to keep this veil lingering a little longer on fabric rather than wearing it on my skin.

Got a decant of this and immediately purchased a full bottle. Sweet, smooth, decadent. Like love in a bottle.

This is so orange blossom heavy to my nose it’s essentially the main note you smell, with a weird smoky incense dry down. It’s pretty boring and weak. Becomes a faint, orange blossom, musky vanilla fragrance. It lasts about 2-3hours on my skin - yawn. But of course because it’s Guerlain everyone is going to act like it’s revolutionary. I don’t get the Angellique noir comparisons at all. That is a green vanilla, and smells rich and expensive - this is anything but.

Way, way, way too sweet and my least favourite of the range. I can see why it's the most loved - if you like sweet scents, this is VERY sweet, and it's the strongest of the range. Overall, definitely not "strong" by any means, and sillage and longevity is still not the best. What smells like candied chestnuts (I assume this is the dragee), mixed with some vague citrusy notes and musk is mainly what I get from this perfume. Ranking of this range for me: Eau de coton > eau de popeline > eau de lingerie > eau de cashmere > eau de tulle

I believe it is the Angelica note that I have such disdain for - in this perfume, it pulls like camphor in a medicinal kind of way. This over powers the other notes. Not a safe line buy.

This smells really medicinal and astringent. Like TCP/ Savlon. Smells like something to treat wounds. Eau de bandage.

I'll have decants on my Mercari soon. This is so beautiful... I had to get the little square bottle. No telling when shipping and vats will be back to normal from EU. Plus I decided to just get the 1L of something I love vs. "like." Good thing is I can customize the cap the way I like. Its been a week with my bottle the strength could be stronger. The website says 2 out of 4 so what did I expect. I could smell it the next morning after spraying a few hours before bedtime. This scent reminds me of the orange blossom from Love and Vanille 12:00 mixed together. Toned down version of those 2 though. I hate when people compare every orange blossom scent to Love, but its warranted here. I'll even say the vintage Sintra but angelica instead of petitgrain. I had to sell my bottle of Love and kept Sintra. I didn't like the skany parts of Love. Luckily, this isn't super orange blossom heavy the note gives it a bubblegum feeling. Its not a juvenile scent, although I could see a rich girl late teens wearing this. Plus I like having classic Guerlain but I'm done paying exuberant prices for them! So, its good to see they re-released this. As they seem to be doing with a lot of scents. Before paying high prices for vintage just wait your scent may be reissued! I do urge everyone before buying this to try Guimauve de Nöel 31. Its such a beautiful scent! Don't get worried about the reminds me section. GdN31 beats them all! & I'm not saying this scent smells like Love!!! I'm only saying the orange blossom note is similar! Update: this is pretty strong. The more you spray it and let it sit the stronger it becomes. I can see everyone says the older formulations were stronger. More heavy on this and that. I'm thinking guerlain kind've thrown this one out prematurely? I think as it matures it will be just as thick and sweet (not too sweet) as the previous scents. I crave this scent and wake up wanting to wear it.

I have a decant of this and have been wearing it for a few days. This is an interesting fragrance. This is very powdery and is powdery from the start. The opening is a powdery soft almond and to me, there is something that gives it a brightness, some sort of citrus perhaps. The almond (and citrus) then start to fade but the almond never completely disappears. The overall feel is that this is a softly powdery scent. It gives me a vintage make-up powder vibe. I do I get a white rose and frankincense feel, similar to that in Amouage’s ‘Existence’ but this is fleeting and in no way similar to Existence which is predominantly aldehydic and Eau de Tulle is not. I’ve seen a couple of comments below mention this would be their wedding day scent and I can see why. It is very feminine and would be perfect on a bride. I see colours when I smell fragrances and this to me is the colour cream. In the final dry down, and this may sound strange, it comes across as like a powdered sun cream lotion (if lotions can be powdery!? - almost like the powder is so fine that it becomes slightly creamy) but in the most luxury way possible. I go from visualising a bride on her wedding day to seeing a woman on her honeymoon in the south of France wearing a white maxi dress and wearing this almond scented cream in the sun. This is a “quiet luxury” scent for sure. I love artistic scents which help bring images and colours to my mind which this definitely does but the vintage make-up powder feel makes this a pass for me. I am positive I would compliment someone on this if I smelt it on them though.

I agree with some of the comments that wrote and compared the three fragrances - Le Bouquet De La Mariee, Le Plus Beau Jour De Ma Vie and Eau De Tulle. I own the first two and I love the composition, absolutely adore the scent profile and everything about them. Except I find them to be too loud, too sweet for my taste and I can’t seem to wear them a lot. I really have to be in the mood for it and the weather needs to be just right.. So I ordered a sample (two samples to be honest) of Eau De Tulle and I was hoping this will finally be the version of the composition that I could wear whenever I please to do so.. For me this lighter, airier version is everything! It does not overwhelm me like the first two fragrances and it somewhat feels creamier, less in your face and more subtle. I absolutely love it. I just don’t know if I can justify having three fragrances with the same composition in my well curated collection...

Such a beautiful almondy scent! It's warm with the vanilla, and the angelica gives it a green freshness. The orange blossom gives it a marshmallowy texture, the same one in Oriana. It reminds me sooooo much of Dior Hypnotic Poison with a dash of Donna Born in Roma Ivory edition or mixed with Oriana! Or BTV Bravery. It's very warm and soft for an EDP, but also so fresh and pretty. Although it isn't listed...it comes across as heliotrope to me. Almonds, vanilla, orange blossom, and heliotrope lol. I like all of the scents in this new collection but Tulle is the stand out that I love. Now that I've had it a couple weeks it smells like L'interdit Rouge. Rouge has more floral punch. Tulle is more warm and literal edible candied almond.

An article here on Fragantica mentioned this smelled like Orange Diet Coke and I had to sample it as soon as possible. It smells like frothy citrus cream soda with a bit of sugary incense. I also get faint wafts of powdery cigarette candy and something borderline medicinal, but the medicinal part is only slightly perceivable. The dry down is even better... the citrus almost completely dies out and the almond appears and it smells like a frothy Diet Coke. The dry down reminds me a bit of Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore, one of my favorites, not exactly but similar only in the dry down. It also reminds me of Irmaro by Monom. I never tire of fragrances that smells like Diet Coke or sodas in an elegant way.

Smells like Le Plus Beau Jour de Ma Vie, which I was told by a boutique representative that this is a replacement for. From memory it does smell the same to me which I’m happy about as I always wanted a bottle of it but is hard to find these days. Tulle wears on the lighter side but I found it to perform the best out of all the new re-releases. Gorgeous fragrance! Edit: While I still think it’s a pretty fragrance, the more I’ve worn my sample of it that I got with the bottle the more I realize the dry down resembles Mon Guerlain to me which isn’t a bad fragrance and one I’ve had in my collection at one point, but I could get it again for much cheaper so for that reason I decided to return my bottle.

Tried this on paper 24h ago so was lucky to experience the full picture. 3 full sprays onto the card. It’s still present on the strip and hasn’t faded at all! Opening is delicate, smooth, soft and sweet. Drydown is still very much those things and the vanilla and musk come in. HOWEVER, now that 24h has passed (and I know this isn’t on skin); there’s something a little harsh and screechy and I think it may be the patchouli. It’s not terrible, very much still wearable. Overall this really is excellent and I’m extremely impressed with the longevity. The packaging is also absolutely gorgeous when I saw it at the Guerlain counter!

This is beautiful. I'm just wondering should I get a bee bottle instead. Possibly 1L for $6 or $700. If so I will decorate it with some flowers and jewels. Maybe lace and pink theme like the original bottle. The regular bottle doesn't do it justice. Thb I'm over the basic square guerlain bottles. They are cool but the cap cord and seal offered in the US online look cheap. I want the multicolor cord. I do love the jewel top they have now.

Heavy on the patchouli at first spray. It soon turns into the candied almonds and musk as described, but a light sweet and not a sickening sweet. Becomes a skin scent very fast. I could see a bride wearing this. And since it is very light, it would be pretty ideal for a getting married. Overall, I don't think it's worth the price point. But I will keep it since I'm getting married (this is why I bought it) and it's a nice little memento

I never had the chance to try Le Bouquet de La Mariee but I am glad now it is available in this new presentation. It is really beautiful. On my skin I get a lot of the dragee, neroli, rose and vanilla. I also get a little bit of something similar to Lavender. This scent has good projection and longevity. Very feminine and romantic, it is a dreamy scent. This is gorgeous, I imagine this would be ideal for a Princess in her wedding day.

I bought a decant of this and I really do love it. It's so dreamy and feminine. The performance is poor though. It really reminds me of Angelique Noir so I decided to layer that with Valaya Exclusif. It smells almost the same to my nose and obviously performs better. If you have both those fragrances, try them together and see what you think. Unless you want it for the beautiful bottle and don't mind constantly respraying.

I can barely smell this—it’s so light. I honestly don’t even know where you’d wear it... maybe bed? And even then, it might be too faint. There’s kind of an almondy vibe, even though almond isn’t listed in the notes. It reminds me of a very watered-down version of Tonka Imperial, or even Imagine Guerlain by L'Atelier Truscelli Guerlain. It does have the Guerlain powdery DNA for sure, if you can sniff it out.

Such a lovely addition to my summer line up. It’s such a feminine, soft fragrance. The notes would tell me I wouldn’t like it (patchouli and incense) but it’s subtle. Lands more musk , vanilla and floral to my nose. This is a woman in a white, eyelet dress, sipping a glass of cold Pinot on a warm summer day. It also smells like the crystals mall in Vegas to me. Weird, I know.

This could have been great, but on me sillage and longevity are both very weak. I know it’s meant to be subtle and gentle and it is but for the price I would like it to last longer than 15 minutes. It’s a shame as the notes are interesting and I really tried to like it but I can’t get past the fleeting nature of it.

This is an orange blossom fragrance that would please even the orange blossom haters I think (Like myself.) It’s very soft and comforting, sweet but not syrupy or cloying. It’s lighter wearing but seems to be decent lasting. Very beautiful and I’m glad I was convinced to buy a full bottle.

This is angelique noir when she was a baby before she matures and develops mystery and depth An innocent softer take on the same comforting base of incensy musky vanilla with a subtle kick of angelica. Ultra feminine and soft and my personal fav in the collection

Veeery similar to Xerjoff Naxos, like a softer version of that with a little almond and less tobacco, no lavender. But despite the notes very similar profile, honeyed and calm, and I must say that although this is nice, Naxos is better to me.

Orange blossom laced with sweet almond notes and *that* Guerlain vanilla. Light, comforting and delicious musky-floral scent. Love the new bottles as I found the old one (referring to the previous EDTs) to be very boring.

BTW this is a eau de parfum not an edt... and this is 1000% the same as Mariee. Of course this is more fresh and not as syrupy. (I mean in terms of aged materials) the orange blossom becomes a little too sweet in Mariee.

Does anyone here know how to buy it in the EU? It's seems it's not possible to buy any frags on Guerlains international site (not the us one) which is the only place it's listed/ where I found any information.

So question, if this is a remake of a fragrance how is the perfumer only credited to Jelk? I get the concept but isn't it a collaboration more so than a new creation?
