Jasmin Grandiflorum Extrait 30 is definitely my favorite from the Extrait line and the others can't hold a candle to this fragrance for me, which is why I bought it after almost buying the Rose Centifolia Extrait 1, which had too much patchouli and woods for me. This perfume is a very natural and sweet smelling jasmine to me, sweetened up by a hint of strawberry. This is a good and interesting combination for me, since both strawberries and jasmine share a lot of the same scent compounds. I can't really smell the sandalwood at all though, but I don't mind that, since I don't like woody fragrances. I got very good sillage and longevity from this scent, since it could be smelt from about 6 feet away and it lasted about 8 and a half to 9 hours on my skin. It would also be perfect for both a spring or summer day and would be perfect for a very classy and sophisticated woman to wear. For some reason, I could imagine a woman with porcelain skin and strawberry blonde hair (like Nicole Kidman) wearing this while dressed up in a white satin and lace dress. The price is of course extortiante and it isn't really worth that much, but it is an experience going to the Guerlain counter and buying this with its beautiful bottle filled with gorgeous golden-colored juice and then choosing its cap and the engraving you want on it, then watching the robot etch your name and symbol you chose onto the bottle. I chose a crown as my symbol and a beautiful and iridescent mother of pearl as my cap! I would personally give this perfume and almost perfect 9/10. It is lovely, but still not quite as good as the much cheaper Jasminum Sambac from Chloe's exclusive Atelier Des Fleurs line. The original Gelsomino by Santa Maria Novella was a great naturalistic jasmine fragrance too!

I’ve been looking for a floral fragrance for a while now. I smelled this for the first time and instantly decided on this. I no longer want a floral fragrance, but I will be using this to add a floral touch to all of my fresh and Ambry Fragrances. The purity of this smell is so well done that I no longer have a desire to search for a smell resembles white florals because they will never be as fresh and green as this. I swear it is almost like they are high-pressure, squeezing the juice out of The whole plant to give you a single drop of bliss. Concentrated is an understatement. Of all the fragrances that make this collection, The jasmine had the best initial impression followed by the Bergamont, which I bought both. All six are the closest notes to the real substances that they respectively represent. Very well done.

It seems unfair to me that every time a niche/exclusive house launches a vanilla or tonka fragrance, folks go crazy about them but white florals got all the hate. I like both good gourmands and nice florals but in case of this collection, I find the Jasmine the best. I’m underwhelmed with the whole line, including Tonka and Vanilla; this one I, however, find lovely, though not worth the price tag. It’s a very gentle jasmine, with greenish tones without any harshness or indolic smell. It’s like Muguet, bright and fresh and optimistic. If it was in the standard L’art and Matiere line, I would consider purchasing it but with this price tag no. And again, I can understand the idea of purchasing a $500 perfume which is unique and make crowds turn heads but this collection is definitely not close to such effect.

I’ve tried at least dozen Jasmine Perfumes over the years and non appealed to my olfactory senses. This one did me in. I work with fresh Jasmine and first hand know how intoxicating and lovely real Jasmine flowers. This is the only Parfume imho that reflects that aroma. Guerlain House somehow was able to captivate the essence of Jasmine. Non of the others compare or even close to realness of the flower. Projection is strong but pleasant. Longevity on clothes over 48 hours like all the extraits that I tested from this collection. About 10 hours on skin. Little goes long way as with any extracts.

One of the most realistic and sophisticated jasmin i have come across this is female dream but a men can wear it to definitely unisex not a typical feminine jasmin this one is so so good its performance and projection is incredible but when you smell closer it doesn't smell over powering this is wht i love about Gurlain extrait they are good strong fragrance but smooth at the same time also i love rose centifolia from the line along with others I got fragrance discovery set for all extrait and i love them all they all are quality fragrance and top quality perfumery ❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙

After I've worn this beauty for a couple of times, I can honestly say that you get the "same" jasmin from Shalimar Millesime Jasmin 2024 edition. I have both and while I really love how elegant this Jasmin Grandiflorum is, it's not worth the price. It's definitely a special occasion scent, when wearing big gold earrings and a silk dress, or maybe even a bridal scent, or more like mother-of-the-bride scent. Absolutely feminine and gorgeous. I would suggest buying samples or a decant, to spare some money.

Jasmin Grandiflorum Extrait is one of the most refined jasmine fragrances I have experienced. The jasmine feels luminous, creamy and beautifully natural, capturing the elegant indolic character of the flower without becoming heavy. As the fragrance settles, it develops a soft powdery quality that makes it even more elegant and comforting. The quality of the materials here is exceptional and truly difficult to compare with most other jasmine perfumes. Smooth, luxurious, and remarkably sophisticated.

Smells just like the jasmine flowers that grew in the yard of my home growing up. I am not a big fan of white florals, but this is just insanely good. I kinda wish they just kept it fresh and not add the strawberry note, because i did feel it got a little too sweet in the dry down. Part of why i hate white floral perfumes so much is because they tend to smell grape-y and sickly sweet. This one doesnt go near that territory at all, thankfully. Just really high quality intoxicating stuff.

Guerlain Jasmin Grandiflorum Extrait 30 (2023) - realistic jasmine - Glorious oh glorious Jasmine! I have been trying to find a perfume with an accord that creates the most realistic expression of the flower and #delphinejelk has managed to summon one. Animalic and indolic, but remains fresh and dewy. This is not muted or shy and a jasmine worth its salt to those that love this ingredient. It is like covering oneself with thousands of petals. Persistent through time.

This is how I envision Heaven to smell like. My goodness, this is one of the most beautiful jasmine-centered fragrance I've ever smelled. Yes, there are some similarities from the reminds me' section, but JGE is so smooth, classy and elevated! Three sprays on my skin was just the right amount to put me in a blissful state. This could easily be my new signature and **gasps** knock my beloved Marfa off her throne. Can be worn all year long with ease. I.Am.In.Love 🤍

This Jasmin is my favourite from the extrait range (I found the iris very beautiful but slightly too vanillic for me and the rose has a citronella note which I wasn’t enjoying.) If you like pure, realistic jasmine that isn’t indolic, it doesn’t get much better than this. After a while the strawberry sweetens and makes this slightly too jammy for me. But Guerlain has certainly returned to their finest with these sublime extrait range.

My absolute FAVORITE Jasmine. NOTHING beats it. Splurged on a 125ml bottle and have NO REGRETS. Like crushing a bunch of jasmine petals in your hands and sticking your face in it. Not deep and sexy, but bright and solar! The most accurate jasmine I’ve ever smelled to my nose. Just incredible. 10/10. If you like Jasmine this is worth the splurge. Excellent longevity and performance too, fantastic year round.

This has got to be the best thing I ever smelled. I received a couple of samples of this with my last purchase and immediatly fell in love.... But then I looked up the price :-(. Does anyone know a good alternative to this? I just can’t justify paying €550 for this, it’s about 5 times what I usually pay for perfume (even though I’m starting to consider it)

Had to purchase a bottle. This perfume received the most positive reactions I have ever got from family and friends, especially from my mom who is very sensitive to perfumes. Iris pallida was love at first sniff for me but this one has probably taken first place as favorite for the extraits for me.

It's gorgeous. At the beginning of the indole dense jasmine. Later it becomes creamy. Maximum feminine. On hot skin or in the heat can be ravenous. The price bites, but it is definitely worth it

This very lovely white floral scent with decent longevity on my skin smell like creamy tuberose which remind me of Le labo lys 41 and Diptyque Do son. I'm surprised tuberose noted is not listed.

i have a sample and it's so strong that you can smell the jasmine through the box , it is so strong and beautiful but very expensive but it lasts very long and it smells like heaven

Favorite of the collection—more complex than the rose

Holy jasmine. That's all I got to say.

Although it's a showcase for GuerIain's jasmine absolute base material I could pick out four stages in the perfume's progression. It opens with the unmistakable scent of the thick absolute: creamy white floral, tinged green and magnolia-like. There's an odd strawberry / red fruit acid-sweetness which pulls the indolic facets of the jasmine in an unexpected fruity-gourmand direction. It's more polite than the usual funk of straight-up jasmine absolute but as I'm not much of a fan of fruity notes this isn't my favourite stage. The natural camphor of the absolute takes off as the perfume warms on skin. The strawberry retreats and an intense eucalyptus-like note comes through. There's also a soft mushroom quality that I associate with tuberose, which may or may not be lurking. The perfume opens up, filling my nose, but it also seems... somehow uninspiring. Despite the camphor it lacks sparkle. Or radiance as @andrewatic says below. However it's improving all the time. Around the three hour mark the perfume peaks, the jasmine is at its most sublime and addictive. It's less indolic, cooler and more gardenia-like now, airy rather than mentholated, greener. And maybe there's even a hint of ylang ylang alongside the gentle buzz of barely-there sandalwood making its first appearance in the base. It finishes with the long dry-down as the perfume settles into a subdued jasmine absolute scent hovering a few inches above the skin in a cool, demur white floral bubble. A bit too polite for me again but still enjoyable. Longevity is great and I get whiffs of jasmine and camphor from clothing days later. All-in-all a pleasant few hours. There are some elements that didn't quite work for me and there's little here to rave about — particularly when price comes into the equation — but it's worthy of a test and I'd be happy to wear it again sometime.

Testing my sample; this is so fruity! Like fully-bloomed jasmine coated with candied strawberry glaze. Leans indolic when it opens but turns creamier on my skin as it develops though the scent keeps fairly linear. Can be worn all year except winter and too cold autumn days. Needs heat. Quite strong, got a compliment from just a spray per wrist. It's nice, but not groundbreaking enough for the current price tag. Worth sampling.

INTENSE jasmine. I like jasmine but for a jasmine lover.... This would be perfect. The sillage is amazing and so is the longevity, completely fills up a room. The price point is completely obnoxious and outrageous though, this isn’t realistic for most people to own. I’m enjoying my 2ml sample of this. Not something I’d wear casually though, or something I would buy.

I have to agree with cranky137... The Shalimar Millésime Jasmin uses the same (BEAUTIFUL!) jasmine accord as this... Obviously it's not EXACTLY the same but... Millésime Jasmin is HIGHLY underrated and so much cheaper... Besides... If you really want to throw away your money, try the Iris Pallida 6... 10/10...

Jasmin Grandiflorum This is s such perfect, pure, natural jasmine scent for me. I love everything that contains this note, and this is ....beautiful💎 (I still love better the darker jasmine scents😅)

Midnight jasmine type of scentl. Very good interpretation of a natural jasmine flower. Feminine, sensual, light yet deep. More raw jasmine than a jasmine ft. something blend.

Meh, it's beautiful but so are countless others for way less. It reminds me a lot of Melodie de l'Amour.

It starts almost identical to oud jasmin from royal crown (beautiful and fresh jasmin), but then it becomes a bit "foodie", not in a strawberry way (although you can detect the strawberry) more like paprika chips. Overall it's ok, the jasmin is beautiful but the food note is annoying. Not worth the price. The longevity and projection is not the best.

It’s the same jasmin from Jasmin Bonheur, minus the fruits. Nothing ground breaking. But if you like Jasmin Bonheur, you definitely will love this too.

I don't know who created this one but later, modern Guerlain's all share a nauseating smokey note that turns my stomach. I cannot pinpoint it but it is there, Tonka Sarrapia, all the Shalimars too. What a shame. Total scrubber. 🤢

The first thought I had when trying this one was: how often did Jelk and Wasser reached for a living Jasminum Grandiflorum flowers while creating this fragrance? And because I know that Wasser is actively involved in material sourcing and puts his nose in fresh jasmine flowers on regular basis, the more surprised and disappointed I am by the outcome in form of this particular concoction. I'm not a professional perfumer, but I am a Guerlain fan, and I used to be surrounded for years by Jasminum Grandiflorum growing in my garden, so I dare to say it loud and clear - this is NOT Jasmin Grandiflorum! It has not even been standing next to it. To me this a generic, man-made, not very natural smelling reproduction of jasmine made from memory, you can get from any fragrance house by a truck-load, with clear emphasis on slightly "salty", green- vegetal aspects rather than floralcy, making overall a very poor and disappointing impression in my opinion. If natural jasmine essence of any kind was used, than it is very well hidden or of minuscule amount. It lacks the radiance, the overwhelming opulence and almost narcotic sweetness, which are typical characteristics of the living Jasminum Grandiflorum flowers. Although what we smell here is the standard jasmine in perfumery you would get anywhere else these days, it is simply NOT good enough to be put in a title role to play as "Jasmin Grandiflorum" for a reputable house with nearly 200 years of know-how and tradition, and for the price tag of 550€. So, calling this perfume Jasmin Grandiflorum is simply inadequate. Any of the classic extraits by Guerlain are way better than this new proposition.

Guerlain went absolutely bonkers with this prices, with all the due respect, 550 euro for a pure Jasmin scent is daylight robbery, even thought they get the best Jasmine in the world, either they got scammed buy their source, or they didn't figure out that there are a LOT of amazing Jasmine pure extrait scents, one is Fleur De Portofino, it cost less than half and is the purest form of Jasmine you could find (is discountined unfortunately), Eshal is more Tuberose and WAY more complex, but thats a masterpiece and even that goes for at least 300, wich is still alot, but is ridiculous that others can give you those prices with the finest Jasmine in the world, and Guerlain have to pump it up to the moon. LVMH you gotta stop, you are killing the passion for collectors.

Beautiful sweet Jasmine, fruity perfection. I dont get strawberry, i would have guessed Apricot without looking at the notes. So well blended that it just appears as a slightly fruity, creamy pure Jasmine. A strong but smooth, fresh and very sweet floral scent, similar to Diptyques Do Son, with an added fruity touch and more natural and intense in Jasmine. My favourite white floral in the whole L‘Art & La Matiere Line. 8.5/10 As Guerlain intend for this Line is for us to create our own little Guerlinad-esque mixture I tested layering this with all the other Extraits and my favourite combinations with this are Tonka Sarrapia, Bergamote Fantastico and Rose Centiflorum !

This is so intense...I just put 2 drops on my hand and got enveloped by this strong sweet jasmine scent. Very potent, it makes me think this could have been the Jasmine version of Fracas! wow...I am glad I was able to obtain a small decant but I don't love this scent. I like it ok. It is just too much...and too expensive. This is pure, natural smelling, a little indolic Jasmine with a sweet strawberry note, I almost don't perceive the sandalwood. I guess if I smell this on another woman I probably would imagine she is wearing Fracas, or Do Son, or A la Nuit, what I mean is...this is good, smells nice but way too overpriced for what it is.

Very good, but not something I'd ever purchase. It's probably a sign of my utter lack of refinement, but this to me is just a slightly fancier, less attainable version of Lush Lust. It's a very high-quality jasmine soliflore, I guess higher quality than Lush, but jasmine has a strong character and it's quite recognisably the same thing, with the same gorgeous strawberry nuances I get from Lust. Obviously the whole thing feels smoother and more luxe, also less sweet, but to me it isn't any more/less natural, just different - a bit more old-fashioned, and less fun.

Animalic jasmines... This is literally pure jasmines, but softer than the intense one note jasmine! it's more natural tropical jasmine but.... i was shocked when i saw the price tag of this! 600$+!! this blend is literally identical to any "jasmine only" labelled blends as i can state 10s of similar with way less price! so it's either, guerlain are trying to grab some money by marketing this, or geurlain been punked by the source that they harvested this blend from!

This is going to seduce a lot of jasmine lovers for the same reason the others are seducing their ingredient’s lovers. It’s just so smoothly rendered, with quality longevity and no visible cracks. I’m not a jasmine expert but I’ve worn and owned many a jasmine scent. If you are aware of something better and cheaper than this, please share in the “this reminds me of” because while I really enjoy this, I can’t be buying $600 bottles of perfume. 4.5 out of 5.

This is really beautiful and INTENSE! I put on one spray on my wrist before bed and it’s potent, heady. I don’t smell any sandalwood or strawberry standing out to me, it’s a seamless background, but this is beautifully blended. Sure it’s not groundbreaking in a unique way - not everything has to be - but it’s a well done extrait, the quality of which I expect from Guerlain. If jasmine is life for you, do get your nose on this.

As a lover of all things Jasmine this is a beautiful photorealistic Jasmine however, even after 10 sprays on each arm, you can barely smell it unless you stick your nose into your arm after one hour. Considering the cost, this was a dealbreaker to me since I enjoy so many other Jasmines. It basically has no projection and is a skin scent. However, it is a beautiful jasmine note. Just don’t expect to smell it.

I grew up with huge jasmine growth around my home, so the flower is close to my soul. The opening may be the most realistic jasmine expression in fragrance I’ve experienced. However, after an hour I could smell a strong indolic note. Well done for realism, but maybe I’m overly sensitive to note, so it doesn’t work for me.

this one is addictive to me. i've been eyeing for ages, mostly bc of the cost, but finally pulled the trigger and bought it and i have no regrets. it's heady and indolic which i love since i enjoy smelling it on myself, but also, the trail it leaves behind is just perfect. in my mind, it's the best in the extraits by far.

Beautiful, photorealistic jasmine scent with woody drydown. I bought a full bottle from place vendome before the tariffs hit. All the extraits are lovely. My favorite is the tonka and vanilla but the jasmine is pretty close. Then iris and rose, bergamont. All of them masterpieces and I enjoy them.

Beautiful Jasmine. Almost a soliflore. Price per ml is ridiculous. Its basically 1 pound per spritiz. 500 pounds for a 50ml is just out of the question I found this for less than 200 and still passed.

Jasmin? Not strawberry with generic Tuberose fragrance base? No indole, no sharpness and no freshness of the real one. Well refined, but the price is ridiculous. A La Nuit is more better.

I cant agree more to the privious rivew of Ells bell its one of the most beutifull jasmin fragrance on planet earth and definitely man can wear it too its a haven in bottle.
