This is a really solid release from Guerlain. IMO its a different take on the infamous rose/oud combo. I love rose/oud, but lately I've been feeling like they've become a little redundant. Not with L'Heure Doree. This is innovative and refreshing with the addition of sandalwood & coconut. Ms. Jelk did a great job on this one.

Spicy and woody in the opening, then L’Heure Dorée turns sweeter and shows more of Guerlain DNA. The dry down is sugary coconutty gourmand scent. If you love sugar, you can love this one easily. I have lot of fun wearing this. To me it is a love. ❤️

Gorgeous Oud-y coconut with a little sweetness and aromatic opening. If this was a general release I imagine this would be one of their more popular releases.

I can't wait for the picture of the bottle to be added! Such a gorgeous plush deep red velvet ❤ The scent: a sticky sweet woody ambery concoction. Last year's release for Eid (Perle Imperiale) was way more special and impressive. Not to butcher Guerlain but this type of scent is a very basic arabic release from a brand like Lattafa. Money grab for Eid, and that's totally fine 😄

Smoked cardamom hits initially with the slight cooling/menthol note that is inherently in cardamom. Middle and base notes are very much spot on for Burberry Brit for Men. Not a bad scent, but the price point is criminal. And yes yes I know it’s a collectors/limited edition lol. Pulled very masculine on me (female).

@Meredithe They did use the bee bottle for most of their "mainstream" scents before changing for the heartstopper some 3/4 years ago...

Sharp rose and oud, with the biggest portion is the nuttiness of coconut and tonka bean... Not my cup of tea at all...
