L'Homme Idéal Cologne Forte

Imagine an extremely juicy and aquatic smelling grapefruit, no harsh edges or synthetic vibes AT ALL. This smells like real grapefruit. But now imagine you took that grapefruit, and you took some incense, and you held it underneath the grapefruit until the grapefruit finally starts to smolder after a few hours. It looses its cool aquatic edge, turning sweeter and darker, but never smoky. The grapefruit still shines through a certain aromatic presence, however the scent of the smoldering sweetness has now mostly overtaken the air around you. That is EXACTLY what L’homme Ideal Cologne Forte smells like. An aquatic grapefruit that is slowly lit on fire, unveiling an ambery heart of incense, vanilla, and vetiver. The citrus is never quite lost here, and the heart notes are immediately noticeable minus the vanillin for me. Where the citrus is the main star of the first 2 hours, it politely trades places with the heart notes after they mingle with each other for about another 2 hours. When you hit that 4th hour, this turns into an amber scent for me. It’s like an utterly different scent after that 4 hour mark, it’s really incredible. It goes from citrus aquatic to sweet amber, and it works so beautifully. I got lucky with this one with longevity, I get a beautiful 12+ hours. The dry down lingers for so long on me, I love it so much. I would wear this any time of the year, although in 90+ degree weather I would think twice. The dry down isn’t the most heat-friendly smell, though I have yet to try it in that type of weather, so I don’t really know. This is pretty much appropriate for any occasion as well. Grocery stores, weddings, beach days, party’s, lounging around at home, work meetings, truly anything. I do believe this works best dressed up a little for nicer occasions though, it’s definitely one that people will take you serious when you wear it! I would say this is perfect for anyone 25+ looking for a versatile signature fragrance. Buy this up while you can, I’ve already got 2 and when they restock the site, I will be getting at least 1 more, because I doubt they’ll be restocking again after this.

This is Straight 🔥 .... and 🧊 - I totally get the marketing, Bright fresh grapefruit & almond (per tradition) in the opening with a unique Ginger & Cinnamon warmth. This IS NOT Platine Privé. Full Stop. . Super lively, same Cologne DNA but different (outside of Platine Privé & the OG Cologne). A True flanker of a flanker. Its a Fresh Spicy summertime fragrance with a PUNCH!- Little to no sweetness. This is the next modern adaptation of OG Cologne and Guerlain did not disappoint. If you liked the OG & Platine Privé, you'll absolutely love this stuff! **Sample first still** The dry-down is different than the other 2x. Cologne Forte is heavily weighted down by Incense and Vetiver (w/ a touch of cinnamon) from the base that start to appear in the early mid; its not too dark but has enough heft to hold down the rest of the fragrance thru the mid & dry-down. You get that classic almond now accompanied with cinnamon as well (lol it matches the note-breakdown I didn't even realize that). You get the opening for a good while as the top notes cling and transition to the mid - I get aspects of the opening up to the 1 hour mark. This comes off more upscale & sophisticated than most freshies out there. Perfect for an outdoor formal event, wedding, or vacation especially when outdoors when its warm & windy 🔥 Wear this and you'll smell like the fanciest guy there 😉 IMHO would work best in Summer, late Spring, and early Fall. Longevity 4-6 hours 1-2 hours its noticeably there. 2-3 hours closer to skin good silage 3-6 hours closer to skin. 9.0/10 - Longevity is 4-6 Hours - smells incredible though - Highly recommend if you're into freshies 🔥🧊

This is excellent. Here's my story: Loved Platine Prive, but sold it because I got an incredible offer I couldn't pass up and wanted to reduce my collection. I regret selling it -- was the best one from all the Ideal summer flankers. Cologne Forte came out and I quickly bought it knowing it would be similar. And it is. But Platine Prive was still softer, cleaner, better. I wore Forte for several weeks and realized it smells great on paper or clothing, but turns sour and off-putting on skin. Something was off in the chemistry when it came to my skin. I sold it -- even made a profit despite being used because Guerlain no longer has in stock. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago I get an email from Guerlain saying this is BACK IN STOCK. I quickly ordered again thinking I'll give it a final shot because I heard rumors that this "second batch" release refined some things from the first release. People had complained about something off so it seems they recently balanced things out. Consider it a minor software update. Most will not notice it, but I no longer get that off putting sour thing on my skin during the mid. This batch seems better blended, for whatever that means. Whatever they did - they fixed the glitch from the first Cologne Forte production. Last month's second wave release seems to be a bit softer like Platine Prive. Less in your face, but still a beautiful L'Homme Ideal DNA with incense and citrus blasting you. Guerlain nailed it.

To my nose it opens up very similar, albeit better quality, like Versace Eros energy, but with their signature almond.. (not as creamy as allure edition blanch) I found I was getting the bright wiffs from this for around 5 hours and my work colleagues seemed to like it (one didn't but she's awkward when it comes to mens fragrance 🤣) I found the dry down to take a darker turn, the almond and lemon/ grapefruit were definitely present with a ever so slight smokeyness. The dry down is excellent, and even though it appears more of a skin scent, I think its better than the edt and edp (I hold both in high regard!) it's perfect when you want to wear something uplifting (it seems to have great sillage for approx 5 hours, of my skin anyway) then turns into the elegant quiet luxury that the Guirlain Ideal line is known for. It's elegant but I do find the opening more informal, or you may say playfull. I also think you could wear this anytime and any occasion, though it's not one I'd reach for in the gym (not that I ever attend one anyway!! ). So smells great and seems to last a good amount of time too, I'd estimate around 9 hours maybe a bit more. This is going to get a lot of wearings over the spring/early summer (not that we get much summer here in the UK!) it's worth checking out, though I wouldn't class it as a must have... 8/10

A cleverly crafted L'Homme Idéal flanker. I’m not a huge fan of the original, preferring the fresher versions instead. Cologne Forte opens with a very pleasant citrus blend of grapefruit and bergamot, followed by hints of vetiver and subtle, almost metallic notes. After a while, light notes of vanilla and almond emerge, preserving the original DNA without becoming cloying or heavy. The result is a fresh, invigorating fragrance with a distinct personality. While it may not be an essential purchase, it certainly holds its own among fresh colognes. Performance—in terms of longevity and projection—is average. My bottle just arrived from Guerlain and my goodness this is simply gorgeous. I’m so happy I took the chance with blind buying this release, easily one of my absolute all time best. Now even though it doesn’t smell that much like it, somehow Cologne Forte just reminds me of LV L’Immensite more than anything, maybe it’s that grapefruit note in the opening, but there’s a familiarity for me. If you enjoy that fragrance or the likes of Tygar, you will really like this one. I don’t have much experience with Guerlain but this is so classy and elegant. It’s fresh and warm at the same time and just impeccably blended, none of the heart or base notes really stick out to me, they’re just in perfect harmony with each other and feel seemless. This feels more like a signature scent than a summer cologne flanker. Anyway I’m simply in love with this and I hope they bring this back as it’s currently sold out on their site. I could easily see this becoming the best release of the year, or at least the classiest. Bravo Guerlain, bravo 👏🏻

Ordered it on 1/13/2026, and I got it today 1/15/2026, talk about super fast delivery. Wow is all I can say, I love it. Need time as I just got it but I will update further, but it's up there as far as guerlain fragrances for me based on first impressions and my style of fragrances that I like. And yes it's EDP. Update: Very interesting fragrance, there's a play between the semi sweet and creamy almond note and the bright citruses, that combined almost give it a sort of incense feel. It's not a in your face type of fragrance, it's restrained, but it's no slouch either as people will notice you. I think it's unisex down the middle with maybe a slight masculine lean, but the dry down gives me vibes of byredo's gypsy water. I don't see the comparison's to LV imagination personally. I think this scent profile suits spring and fall, day or night; day because of the opening and middle notes and night for that incense dry down. Overall I'm digging this and am happy I got it.

What a absolute MASTERPIECE this fragrance is! Opens with photo realistic fresh cut grapefruit that is sparkly and has just a hint of almond and bergamot with no sweetness what so ever in the opening. As it dries-down the sweetness and creaminess from almond, vanillin and incense starts to come out. It is wonderful and unique fusion of sharp, bold, fresh opening that turns into this creamy, sweet, rich scent as it dries-down. When you first put it on (3-5 sprays) you get about 3h of good projection and then is becomes an intimate skin scent that last for hours especially on clothes, on clothes it is eternal, like 2-3 days. After first 3 hours it becomes much less citrusy and becomes a mix of almond, vanillin and incense scent. In my opinion this is warmer weather fragrance because of the opening but after 2-3h it smelled like year round fragrance. All in all unique perfection in a bottle, but not blind buy safe because of it's uniqueness and pronounced opening.

The fragrance opens up with a big burst of citrus that smells like grapefruit and lemon with a slight creamy undertone from the almond that makes it a bit powdery. On the dry down is where I was hoping it would’ve redeemed the initial opening but smells like a lemon scented baby wipe with hints of incense and vanilla in the very background of the fragrance. I bought this as a blind buy from a couple of reviewer’s recommendations but to me I’m slightly disappointed on this release. I’ll have to wait to see later on if this fragrance does grow on me but for now it didn’t impress me. Update: After a couple wear's the dry down did change, the opening is a bit in your face with the citrus and can be a bit offensive but the blend on the dry down is pretty unique. The scent on the dry down is like a grown up verison of Louis Vuittons Imagination and Terre D'Hermes Eau Grive. Overall rating is a solid 8/10 with strong longevity and pretty decent projection.

Thank God I was successful in acquiring 2 bottles of this beauty, one which is almost 60% done and the other still unboxed, I’ll be looking forward to keep it as long as possible and sell it to someone who will want it maybe 5-6 years later 😛 Talking about the notes, let me break the ice: there’s a drink in Kerala (South India) called Nannari sarbath. A good lemonade mixed with a little soda and the special syrup. If you wanna get to taste it just walk into a local supermarket like LULU and ask for this syrup called Nannari (sarsaparilla). Heavenly, compliments guaranteed, perfect!!! A sensuous blend and creation!! Masterpiece I would say. The performance is very weak to be honest. I almost do 10 sprays over my arms and neck on my skin before I wear my suit and it does its magic of radiating for a good MAXIMUM 3 hours and dies. Whatever COLOGNE FORTE IS LOVE! I love how delicious the citrus is.

I will agree that this is similar to the Cologne (never smelled Platine Prive), but for me this is leaps and bounds better. I'm not a big fan of neroli, and here with Forte, it's toned way down if it's even there at all. Instead, Forte replaces the neroli with bright and sharp citrus (grapefruit/lemon) backed by incense right off the bat. It's almost immediately apparent that Forte will be more woody and less green than the Cologne. As it dries, the citrus backs off and you get more of the incense & cedar. It eventually gets to a slightly sweet, lightly smokey wood with smooth remnants of citrus from the opening. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but it seems to perform better than the Cologne as well. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of the "fresher" variants of this line. I ended up selling the Cologne after getting this.

Its okay. Its like the cologne, but a little heavier in scent. You get the citrus and almond right away, but in the background is a heavy backbone. Has to be the vanillin. The incense is there as well. I could smell it for my entire 10 hour shift, but like with all of this line it stays close to you. Unless someone gets close, they wont notice. Not necessarily a bad thing. I always thought the cologne and the edt were pretty similar. With that being said, its alot like the edt. Being a le, and a Guerlain fragrance. It most definitely will sell out fast. Mostly because of hype and limited availability. The scent is not spectacular. I purchased mostly because I love the ideal line, and I was late to the party with cologne and platine prive. The edt is still number one imo. Edp second. Extreme third.. Trust me. The best is the OG!

I love it. Bright, smooth and sweet citruses in the opening with woody and even sweeter dry down. Great choice to spray in the morning before leaving for work/running errands. Obviously best in spring and summer. On my skin performance is just average, might have to reapply during the day but I wouldn't expect anything else from such scent profile. My only problem is the price. Fragrance is great, quality is high but it's not 170EUR high. I got mine for 90EUR which is fine but I would like to see it available for ~70. Hopefully this pops up at discounters at some point so I can scoop up another bottle. Not sure if that will ever happen though since it's limited edition :( Good alternative to this would be Sospiro Vibrato or if you want something on the cheap side, Théorème Homme Rue Broca.

A Masterclass in Contrast: Jelk’s Modern interpretation of the Ideal Man. Delphine Jelk continues her winning streak with Cologne Forte. While many claim the incense is missing, it is the very first note to greet my nose—a sophisticated smokiness that sets the stage for what’s to come. The genius here lies in the "fire and ice" dynamic: a cooling, sharp grapefruit immediately cuts through that smoke, followed by the signature L’Homme Idéal almond note. The dry down is incredibly smooth and comforting, maintaining that fascinating push-and-pull between hot and cold accords throughout the wear. Guerlain remains the gold standard of French perfumery for a reason—there is truly nothing else like this on the market. Longevity: 10/10 (Fills a house with just a few sprays). Scent: 10/10.

Finally got a chance to try this in Europe. It’s very reminiscent of Imagination, at a more affordable price. I’d say a bit “fizzier” and sweeter than Imagination. Dry down has a nice spice to it. Blue amber-like. Don’t get almond here unless you want to imagine marzipan like, I guess. The sales rep said this will NOT be sold in the US. If you’re in Europe and don’t own imagination yet but enjoy that profile this is a no brainer especially as it’s basically half the price, too. Also, shaming people who are frustrated they did not even get a chance to try this because they’re not chronically online enough to sit on a website to immediately purchase an item that relies on scummy scarcity marketing/FOMO is extremely pathetic ,just saying.

Get this now. Just blind buy it, right fucking now. Whilst you still can. Even if you don't like it, and I can't imagine there are many at all who wouldn't like this, it's a limited edition L'Homme Ideal summer flanker that will be worth two or three times what you paid in a year or two once it's discontinued. You are practically guaranteed to get your money back, and then some, if you decide it's not for you. The way that citrus sparkles off the top is stunning, and has bumped Eau Givree as my favourite designer summer scent. The kind of quality, and craftsmanship Guerlain consistently offer at that entry-medium level designer price range (say between around £60-£80 per 100ml) is absolutely unmatched.

I’ve tried L’Homme Idéal Cologne Forte and honestly, it surprised me in a good way. It smells super clean, fresh, and classy without trying too hard. The opening is bright and citrusy, but it also has this creamy almond vibe in the background that makes it different from the usual “fresh summer fragrance.”Performance isn’t that strong though — on my skin it lasts around 5-7 hours, so don’t expect much. But the scent itself is really smooth and easy to wear. It’s the type of fragrance that gets compliments because people around you just think you smell really good, not because it’s loud. Overall, if you want something elegant, fresh, and underrated for everyday use, this is honestly a great pick.

Been wearing this one for a couple months now and it’s easily one of my best pickups of the year. Might even be my favorite, or at least top two. Opens up with a really fresh blast of grapefruit and aldehydes that gives it that cool, almost icy feel. As it settles, you start to get that signature almond from the line with a touch of spice that keeps it interesting. It comes across classy in that classic French way Guerlain does so well, but still feels personal and easy to wear year round. Performance is solid too. I get about 2 hours of strong projection and around 8 hours total before it sits close to the skin. Super refined, super easy to wear, and just smells quality all the way through.

After fannying around waving a paper strip In front of my nose at Heathrow, I couldn’t work out what I was smelling. Woody, paper, some freshness... hmmm... but not entirely impressive. Then I applied to skin. And Bang!! It starts out with a rewarding bright/bitter citrus, plus grapefruit pith. I like this phase a lot. I’d have been happy to have lived with this for longer, but it quickly transitions into a big almond vanilla scent. The citrus floats on top, but the almond is dominant. And no messing around here - this is quite huge. This will be a great summer banger, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs in the heat of the Mediterranean summer.

It is now live on the USA Guerlain website. Just ordered mine. Edit/Update: Got it today (1/8/26). Been wearing now for a few hours. This is fantastic stuff. Honestly. I have to kindly and politely disagree with @Tshahb. I find this sharper than the Platine Prive, and definitely lacking the sweetness. I would be very disappointed if it was too much like a re-release of PP or cologne. This stuff (very early on in my wearing experience) is great. Also (although I downvoted it in the 'reminds', I do get a little tiny smidge of something Imagination-esque. Most noticeable in the opening and first few minutes. Or maybe I'm crazy) I am a happy dude.

Just got my bottle today and gotta say this is something super special. If I smelled this blind without knowing what it was, I would think this to be niche or private line at least. 10/10 superb masterpiece which actually smells more unique than anything in my collection. I get mainly lemon plus almond on the first sniff but it’s blended to perfection and I know there’s a whole lot going on in the background that I’ll probably pick up on the more I get a feel for it. So far this is going in my holy grail all time warm weather fragrance selection. Longevity is outstanding and this projects phenomenally well. Lowkey worth the retail price imo.

Early reaction as i just received this in the mail. But the scent is extremely nice and pretty unique. The opening with the blend of cold citrus, almond and cinnamon almost gives it a spicy lemon iced tea accord that smells incredible. As it dries down the citrus remains in the background and the almond and cinnamon with some woods come to the forefront. This leans more into a more toned down version of that classic l’homme ideal dna. The opening screams spring/summer. But as it dries down I think I could see myself wearing it year round. I’d easily give this an 8 or 9 out of ten depending on where it lands on performance.

First impression: Indeed a contrasting fragrance, I can 100% recognise the fresh Cologne and Platine Prive scent profile and it is still as lovely. But it's like it's mixed with a second fragrance. Not sure about the incense but the vanilla and cinnamon add a really nice warm base to the fresh profile I love. This was a blind buy for me. It's a limited Guerlain. What else can you do :D Edit: it's really great. Prefer it over Platine Prive because the additional notes really make it more interesting. And it has the amazing soapy dry-down of the Cologne too, although a bit sweeter.

This is an interesting one. The sparkling citruses in the opening definitely give you that classic freshie vibe, but after some time the incense comes in, combining it with the freshness from the citruses, making it vaguely reminiscent of a blue fragrance, kind of like BDC. It's like a hybrid of fresh and blue to me and sits right in the middle of those two types of fragrances, quite unique. Add a little bit of sweetness from the almond and vanillin, and you've got a really nice, slightly sweet but classy-smelling "freshie", making it versatile for all seasons, in my opinion.

I am by no means a fragrance expert—just a recent enthusiast—but I do have a decent collection of perfumes. For me, this is the best fragrance I’ve ever worn. It starts off citrusy, and then I gradually pick up notes of almond, vanilla, and wood; it’s complex and long-lasting. I think it’s suitable for year-round use, except perhaps in extremely high temperatures (above 35°C). On my skin, it generally lasts from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM—at the very least... it’s incredible. I bought two bottles, and it’s a real shame that it’s a limited edition. 10/10.

Beautiful fragrance. The citrus off the top blends with the creamy almond in a satisfying way. There’s a really nice masculine backbone to this fragrance, but it feels elegant too. Longevity is not great for me. From two sprays, I get 2-3 hours of solid projection up to a foot or so, then it settles into a skin scent. Performance woes cannot deter me from this fragrance. Hopefully they release more stock in the future. This does smell very similar to Boss Bottled Beyond in my opinion, but this one is a bit smoother and easier to wear.

This is crossing into the sport fragrance territory which is pretty cool considering that the rest of the flankers are on the verge of gourmond. When I first applied this fragrance I wasn't very happy for the first hour as I chilled in the house. I went outside and got exposed to some heat and motion and this fragrance awoken. It smells excellent! Very masculine and sporty in my opinion. Performance was acceptable with 4 sprays generating a 3' projection for a few hours. As long as you are moving, this is excellent. 8.5

First impression is the citrus blast. Starts out as a sugary lemon but quickly moves into more of a rindy citrus. Almond starts to come through in the mid, with a bit of creaminess. The citrus stays forward in the mid, with almond and hint of cinnamon rounding out any sharpness in the citrus. I love fragrances like this where notes aren't there just to be there. Every note influences the next creating a refreshing, complex, and non-linear fragrance, which is uncommon and super exciting for a warm weather freshie.

First impression is intense freshness and soapiness with the signature Almond DNA of the line. In the dry down a slight touch of incense and cinnamon appears. I feel this is a mix of the Imagination DNA with creamy nuttiness and a darker contrast in the base notes. Edit: I’m really liking this, I don’t often get excited for a fresh fragrance but this one hits the spot for me. I kept the paper strip and this thing projected off of it for 2 hours. Longevity seems decent and projection too. Thanks delphine!

Usually I don't pay too much attention to these things, but now after reading the post/review from @PhxLax, I am curious. Actually, 'conflicted' is the correct word. Having both batches (I missed the second round from the first release, or I'd have wound up with three bottles), I didn't know there would be such a noticeable difference. I don't want to open my second one yet, just to compare. Maybe I'll search out a few decant sites and see what I can find...

What a beautiful creation! With the initial lemon and lemon peel blast, almond manifests in a gloriously stunning way. It continues forming a fresh creamy luxurious feel even when the base takes in, it's a sweet (in a calm good way) and slightly oriental base. I applied it 8AM, now it 1AM the next day and I can smell it on the shirt I wore during the day. But on skin it can reach between 8 and 10 hours, sits close to the skin though. Bravo Guerlain !

Based on reviews here, YouTube, and other sites I ordered it at full retail from Guerlain's website. I nearly missed out on Platine Privee due to its limited release. Disappointed I didn't get a backup bottle since they went up significantly in price due to it being discontinued. Not going through the same ordeal with this one. If I like the scent I will snap up a backup bottle. Hopefully that one can acquire through a discounter site.

People, especially the dude below me. Quit with the, real grapefruit bs. Have you ever smelled a grapefruit, guy below me? This doesn't even remotely smell like real grapefruit. Grapefruit isn't smooth. Its brash, and especially edgy. It will make you nose tingle. Real grapefruit smells like D&G light blue forever. Ideal Cologne Forte smells like almonds incense and citruses. Not the grapefruit kind of citrus. More like bergomot.

Lol at that one guy selling it on ebay for 249.99. I can't imagine the prices once guerlain's website eventually runs out. That being said I think guerlain isn't dumb, if this continues to sell and it's not even at discounters, I think they will *stretch* out that limited release. Because scalpers will salivate at the prospect of flipping it for 100 bucks over retail price. I bet many are buying balk bottles for that reason :-/

My favourite freshie. It’s just perfect for summer or office. It opens up with a icy grapefruit but after a while it settles into a fresh but warm and creamy scent. Performance and sillage are really good too. Longevity is 10 hours and projects strong the first 3 hours. If this is in the same street as imagination then don’t waste your money on that and buy this. Man this one is just pure perfection.

Glad I got my bottle from guerlain website, because I knew, at least here in the states, that it would sell out before it got to retailers. I think it's worth it for an under 200 fragrance, unique, long lasting (8+) and IMO special. Sold out in US guerlain website now, maybe it will come back since reception seemed to be positive and at 4.50 currently, they would be dumb not to bring this back.

It is a wonderful and quite versatile fragrance. It opens with a very fresh, citrusy vibe, and after 2–3 hours, the almond note becomes the star of the composition. It is not a linear perfume — it evolves beautifully over time and keeps changing on the skin. Longevity is very good, with medium to high projection; during the first 2–3 hours, it has a strong projection.

This is one of my favourite DNAs, so I was intrigued as I had missed out on Platine Prive. It’s exceeded my expectations. The almond is still very much in evidence and the initial punch from the citrous is glorious. It’s an EDP so longevity is good. Not groundbreaking, but like all Guerlain scents, high quality and very well executed. Recommended. 8.5/10

I get why ppl saying this one smells like Imagination. The resemblance is mainly in the opening. The fresh, soapy character and citrus notes give them a similar vibe at first, but as it develops, the iconic almond note in the Guerlain fragrance becomes more prominent. It's not particularly sweet, though. Just purchased my 2nd one for backup.

Very fresh, bright citrus backed by a smooth and nutty almond note. Once dry and the citrus fades you get a fresh, spicy, nutty & slightly woody scent that smells super clean. Not picking up any incense. It’s unique enough from everything else out there, and lasts about 7 hours on skin before it fades. One of my favorites this summer. 9.2/10

This is similar to Bvlgari Tygar with some saltiness to it, with hints of something like AdP Mandarino di Sicilia, I think. The drydown is just straight up less sparkly Tygar. It holds up quite well, but I can imagine I will get bored of this scent as soon as I purchase a bottle. However, for rare occasion, you can’t go wrong with this.

To all you children crying about it being a limited edition and reformulations. Guerlain dont fuck around. When they say limited. That means get off your lazy ass and buy one if you want one. They have already done this, in this line, 3 times! Quit crying that you didn't get a bottle. No reformulations so shut the fuck up.

Sprite opening to a Horchata dry down. Its really good. This feels like a smooth cinnamon fragrance more than expected. Sweetness and slight creaminess from almond and vanillin. Rounded out with a non-invasive incense. Feels like a all season, anytime fragrance. The whole fire and ice marketing was on the money.

This fragrance makes me think of a cloudy ass day. That is what this fragrance is. Its got this smokey incense, cinnamon thing going that is dark (clouds). The cirtus (sun) is trying to peak through, but the clouds are making it very difficult... Its stays dark till the end. You never get to see the sun rise...

THIS. IS. CLASS. the end. One thing to add actually - I was patient after initial release and ended up saving over £50 when it popped up on MyOrigines. Seems I got lucky as its sold out again. I recommend when it pops up anywhere grab it! It is even worth full retail as it is simply beautiful.

Ok, something about this parfume is very weird. I had 5J01 batch and all I can say is fantastic parfume. Because of the be limited edition, yesterday I want to buy second bottle but tester is complitaly different parfume. Skin and clothes both. Anyone is here try new and old batch?

I was lucky to get this off MyOrigines for a really good price! This is a stunning fragrance with a bright citrus opening moving on to the beautiful almond notes. So glad I managed to get this at such a good price but would certainly pay full price to get another bottle.

Un perfume fresco para diario con almendra, muy bueno sin caer en un gourmand. Excelente para el diario en todo el año. La almendra le da un toque distinto y los cítricos en la apertura se sienten algo efervescentes. Aunque tiene vainilla y almendra no se siente dulce.

The sparkling citrus opening continues to shimmer in the distance even in the dry down. The trademark sweet Ideal dry down is there, but does not feel cloying nor overwhelming even in humid heat here, because of that. Love this. Hope they don't discontinue it at all.

I just bought this today in the Tax-free shop today, and it is really really nice, citrus, ginger, and almonds! Smells so good and fresh. If you ask me it’s unisex. It has the dna of Widian rose, Viking Dubai etc. but with an almond twist. Great Guerlain release :)
