Guess Seductive Homme Blue

FRESH POWDERY SWEET SLIGHTLY SPICY WOODY the powderiness over shadows the aquatic "sea notes" and oakmoss making them faintly noticeable, the cardamom note however is noticeable (& a gourmand lover’s dream) moderately sweet (the powderiness actually cuts the sweetness some, especially in the dry down) with slight woodiness (together smells choco-nutty) plus a hint of spice, it all blends rather smoothly (didn't pickup on any other listed notes), can't be over-sprayed (not too bold not too light); cozy, versatile fragrance suited for casual, office, day or night-time, Fall, Winter, Spring, and cool Summer settings. Projection/Sillage' is GOOD, provides a nice scent bubble around for the 1-2 hour(s) then within arm’s length; isn't "beast mode" as far as projection goes but it's definitely noticeable on person and in the air, the powdery freshness makes it aromatic as the sweetness allows it to project. Performance/Longevity is GREAT on fabric last about 10+ hours.

Wow. I rarely post actual reviews, but anyone looking to buy this may benefit from the comparisons to La Nuit d'Lomme. It seriously smell JUST like it! Definitely lighter, not as loud or in your face on initial spray, softer. Of course it has weaker performance, but I mean you can't expect much from a 20$ 100mL bottle. At least it smells awesome. If you like YSL La Nuit D'Lomme, go for this. If you wanna get an idea of what LNDL smells like before spending the money, get this. I think it's odd that it's called "blue", however. I think this should be in the "Seductive Homme" box instead. Typically, in my experience, the "blue" flankers are usually marine or aquatic like, this is definitely not. I don't smell anything marine about it honestly. And that's okay because I still love it. Great for cold weather.

This cologne surprised me. I think it's pretty versatile since even after having cardamom, black pepper and cashmere notes it still has that blue dna from the sea notes and citruses. Lasts pretty long enough on my skin. I don't recommend this much during the daytime in summer but you could rock it during the night time. The opening is pretty smooth I mainly get cardamom in it with some salty aspect. As it dries down a bit marine yet with a mixture of cashmere and sand does pop up. Just one problem I faced with this bottle was that my bottles' atomizer came broken sometimes even after pressing it multiple times the fragrance doesn't come out . But if we ignore that a 4.5/5 fragrance. Yeah the projection isn't greatest but it is still pretty good like about 1 feet for about 3 hrs after that a skin scent.

Very much a sweet, almost calming cardamom/powdery vibe. Yes it smells VERY close to La Nuit de l'Homme YSL, but with a more aquatic note. Probably the best cheapie I've worn, along with CK One Shock for Him. Longetivity, silliage and projection are all low, so it's safe to overspray. Just know it only lasts like 90 minutes even if you douse yourself in it. Edit: tested La Nuit de l'Homme by YSL again, and yes this is an amazing dupe/clone. There are slight differences, but if you don't want to spend $100 on the YSL, get this and you'll be happy. Update: 6 months later the bottle is almost empty. Think budget YSL La Nuit de l'Homme but with some fresh/aquatic vibes. Pretty awesome for $19.99

This one surprised me. It smells very close to La Nuit de L’Homme by YSL, to the point where it’s almost one-to-one in the air. You get that same smooth, spicy, slightly sweet vibe that makes it easy to wear and hard not to like. For the price, it’s hard to beat what you’re getting here. I honestly don’t understand the low ratings. If you enjoy that DNA, this delivers in a very convincing way and smells great from start to finish. The only downside is performance. Projection and longevity are weak, so don’t expect it to last all day. That said, at around $15, it’s easy to justify spraying more. Just go heavier on the trigger and you’re good.

Some have called this seductive fragrance a "watered down La Nuit" by YSL. I find the comparison to be mostly accurate. Only thing is, for me La Nuit projects pretty poorly itself and disappears even quicker than this cheapie. I was pleasantly surprised when I first sprayed this on my wrist and continually sniffed it as I walked throughout the store. GSHB has close projection for about 2 hours and remains on the skin for a couple more. Not great performance, but for the price and the smell, It is definitely a good buy in my eyes. It will be perfect for a low key date on a warm spring or summer night.

Certainly a great buy. I blind bought a gift set at Ross for only $15. Like many others have said, this cologne has a warm spicy feel to it. The citrus and black pepper notes are the strongest to me, and I can detect them for most of the fragrance life. Regarding fragrance life, it's nothing to write home about. On my skin, others will be able to smell it for about 5 hours. Silage was quite decent for a $15 fragrance. It was average on my skin. I would put it on par with some of the big brands out there. I am certainly glad I bought this fragrance, and I would suggest others to do the same.

This frag is very, very nice. It smells much more expensive. To me it fits perfectly to autumn/spring. It is similar to YSL and if I had to choose between those of two I would go wit Guess because it costs 1/4 price of YSL, perfroms same or better. YSL just uses the fame gotten from the old batches - beatufiul scent, very good performance - nowadays it is wattered down and the price remained same. I am not gonna pay for such poor perfromance. So if you are fan of the YSL La Nuit de l'homme and you do not want to support this politics poor performance with a high priice, try this one!

I paid 16$ for an 100ml tester.. The opening is not great - just a basic fresh burst, but the dry-down is good! The cardamon-tonka combo is super nice here (even if tonka is not mentioned as a note) with a slight green freshness (I think that would be the geranium).. It lasts a day on me if I spray twice the spot, but the projection is noticeable in the first 1-2 hours, then it dies down... (fragrances tend to last longer on me than on most people and I also generally go heavy with the sprays) For the price I paid, this is great! Hope this helps! Cheers!

im not take a bath for full 1 day. and keep use same clothes. can u imagine? yikes. but i sprayed this weak safe sweet frag 8x times. my friend really like it even, i know i feel i smell so bad. but she keep sniff in to my clothes lol. thats my story. and this weak frag only get compliment night time only. even tho u can use it everyday anyday because its smell a lil bit fresh but different fresh like aqua or anything. idk. but girls really like it. idk. just be smell good guys. especially u college guy same like me lol. sorry bad english thats my story.

OH MYYYYYYY GOD!!!!!!!!! This is a very unique creation. It was love at first smell. This was something that the perfume store recommended after numerous Karen Low garbage colognes. It's very romantic and not your typical spicy or overly nautical men's scent. Although I can like those I tend to go towards ones like this or Le Male. The caviar note shocks me though I don't know what that smells like, I know it's fish eggs so im assuming it would'nt smell too nice but this smells amazing so caviar must smell good i guess.

I can't tell you how amazing this scent is. It's basically a fresh, masculine, marine-aquatic scent. BUT it doesn't last but 30min-1hr on me. I have a large bottle that I bought at Ross discount dept. store for like $14. I now keep the cologne in my car and whenever I pick up anyone I do 3 sprays in the car and I always get the same reaction. "It smells great in here what is it?" You'll will love the scent but hate the performance. The scent is great but that's no good if it fades away quickly.

When i wear popular fragrances sometimes I get compliments and sometimes I don't. To be honest, most of the times I don't. With this, I can tell you all right now that this has never failed in getting me compliments. "You smell Fxxkin GOOD!" A random attractive woman was standing about 10 feet away from me, and she kept looking over to me. Then it was if she couldn't fight it anymore and said "YOU SMELL NICE!!!!!!" It just smells good! Underrated fragrance. Very cheap.

This is a nice fragrance. Opening is kinda strange at first blast with the aquatic ozone and "starfish" element. But, it is quickly taken over by citrus and cardamom which is very warm and pleasant. The dry-down is a nice, slightly powdery cashmere and oak-moss with a bit of pepper and floral peeking out here and there. Can't say I can single out any caviar scent but it is slightly alluring in an animalic way. I think it's a great scent for the $$$/quality ratio.

I really love this ! I smelled it at Ulta and found jus what I was looking for. A unique mens fragrance that I didn't know I couldn't live without. Found it, with this one. It has a essence of powdery blue on a summer day w a few citrus notes. Calming and soothing. Works good for summer and winter. I jus buy the deodorant spray cans . I'm gonna get the cologne soon. I've gone through 5 or 6 deodorant spray cans

This is the affordable version of YSL Del Homme La Nuit. Even though the note break down is different, It smells almost identical and for 1/3 of the price. Don’t let the “blue” in the name confuse you. This is not an aquatic or oceanic freshie type scent like most blue fragrances tend to be. Give it a try I promise it won’t disappoint. 100% a blind buy in my opinion. Go get you some.

Probably the best cheapest fragrance I've bought and I'm not even exaggerating. I think it was a rack buy at Ross for like 15 bucks? I heard about it on a review video prior to purchasing it. Otherwise, I wouldn't even pick up a bottle of Guess anything. But I'm glad I did. Go get you a bottle of this gents. Spray away its cheap and there's lots of it at Ross. Lol

This a very pleasant fragrance. I'd say you can wear this in any season and its perfect for most work environments. The opening is a little off-putting but within 5mins the fragrance really opens up into something nice and approachable. I wouldn't wear this on dates or special occasions but it'll work for just about anything else you can think of, imo.

Hands down one of my new favorite colognes. Has such a sweet and fresh fragrance. Lasting power is pretty good, but its not the strongest cologne (which is actually a good thing since it has a more subtle effect). I really like this one and will continue wearing it.

This was gifted to me for christmas and tbh i really like it its somewhat generic but comforting and smooth i like the way the cashemere wood in this really pops out on my skin its definitely well priced for what you get but the sillage is pretty dogsh*t.

I love it, now received. I bought it beacuse I heard it is close to YSL La nuit, and it is :) One of my favorite is YSL, and this is very close to it....I m happy, It is cheap, now I can use it more often as YSL because it is cheap.

Its opening has alcohol blast but after it settles down it starts to smell very pleasant. It has a very nice warmth to it very cosy smelling. The cardamom is very prominent. Performance is average. Good for evening time.

Elegant masculine fragrance, unlike the name it is NOT a "Blue" type of a scent, this perfume is heavy, smells like a fresh unburnt cigar in sweetness. The performance is above average.

Very nice scent and smells really close to LNDL, I own both. Hard to dislike. But sadly this has no projection and it doesn’t last at all. Skin scent all the way. Such a waste.

I like this scent. I pick up the scent of sand very strongly and the cashmere softens it. Picture a warm but overcast beach. Feels formal. A little bit peppery and fresh.

It's a great alternative for la nuit de l'homme... Almost the same smell and of course, a little bit weaker performance...

This is YSL La Nuit de l'Homme with a mild-to-moderate sweetness. Purely scent-wise, this is just slightly better than YSL LNDL and is the very best take on the DNA. I own almost every clone and own the original YSL LNDL purchased in 2024. Longevity: The only downside (and a major downside) is this has a total longevity of ~2 hours on paper (tested this once), which means its practical longevity beyond a skin scent might be 60 minutes. Perhaps layering your sprays on the same location should prolong longevity by effectively turning this into an EDP/extrait, though you'll burn through your bottle and probably intoxicate yourself from the alcohol fumes. The longevity renders this useless except for a gym scent and a home scent. At least recent batches of YSL LNDL have a total longevity of 4.5 hours on paper (I tested once), which is still poor. Clone comparison: Below are the YSL LNDL clones from sweetest to least sweet: - Guess Seductive Homme Blue (the sweetest, but in absolute terms this is mildly-to-moderately sweet. And terrible longevity.) - Grandeur Elite Iconic Nuit (actually supposedly a clone of Bleu Electrique) (terrible longevity and projection, and essentially the same sweetness level as the Guess) - (the original YSL LNDL ranks here in terms of sweetness, just for your reference) - Fragrance World Jack of Clubs (actually supposedly a clone of Bleu Electrique) (still distinctly slightly sweeter than Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice below) - Evaflor Whisky Red (terrible longevity; both spray and deodorants smell the same, and they smell the same as Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice) - Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice (actually supposedly a clone of Bleu Electrique) (best total longevity of 7 hours on paper but distinctly the least sweet) Finally, there are two more clones that missed the mark and aren't included in the ranking above: - There's Palermo's YSL LNDL clone which f*cking sucks and starts off with a dominating synthetic green apple note, then dries down to a cardboard smell. Nothing like YSL LNDL. Smells like a good toilet freshener. Total longevity of 8.5 hours on paper. This bottle was purchased at the very end of 2024. - Then there's also Bujairami's YSL LNDL clone (Bujairami Crave) which smells decent but is soooo far off that it can't be considered a clone and barely can be considered a twist. They added a prominent green apple note, so it smells closer to PDM Greenley than YSL LNDL. It's like the PDM Greenley DNA with body from a faint creamy cardamom in the background; though I have only smelt a supposedly accurate Greenley clone and not the real Greenley. Total longevity of 9 hours on paper. This bottle was purchased at the very end of 2024. Edit: There's a possibility that my nose is detecting a synthetic cardamom substitute as smelling like green apple. It's also possible that these last two clones just suck ass though.

First off, does this smell like La Nuit De L'Homme as people report? Meh-- sort of. It's certainly not a clone of LNDL. Is it in the same scent family? Absolutely. I'd say LNDL has a a bit of a brighter opening and more of a spicy dry down. Guess SHB has more of an oceanic opening and a powdery dry down. But, they both have that kind of soft, fuzzy cardamom vibe. I'm not sure that I would recommend Guess SHB as a replacement for LNDL, but you could probably wear it in the same situations. Now, what does Guess SHB "smell like." If you took an evening stroll on the beach with a loved one and bottled the experience into a fragrance, it would be Guess SHB. I don't mean that it smells like the ocean, per se. I mean that Guess SHB "smells" like that feeling (if that makes any sense). It has something of a light oceanic twinge in the opening, and a good amount of warm cardamom. But, what I mostly get is a kind of cozy, powdery "sandy" feeling. Of course, who can say what sand smells like? But, if sand under a sunset had a smell, it would smell like Guess SHB. What I'm saying is it smells like spiced talcum powder, I guess. Now, here is a connection I have never heard anyone make before. My immediate impression of Guess SHB is this... Guess SHB is like the summer edition of Burberry Brit for Men. Burberry Brit for Men is a powdery fragrance with cardamom, ginger and rose. I love Brit for the fall and early spring-- especially on rainy days. Guess SHB is a lot like Brit to me, except that it replaces the ginger and rose with oceanic notes. So, if you love Brit but don't want to wear it into the late spring/summer, you might give Guess SHB a try. Update: After reading the Pros and Cons above. I see that a listed Con is that Guess SHB smells like a women's underarm deodorant. I wouldn't have thought about it without seeing it above, but now that I have read the comment, I can't un-smell it. The deep dry down does veer into the lady's deodorant territory. So, buyer beware, I guess.

A good pickup if you can find it under the 25 USD price point. Guess Seductive Homme Blue takes a very familiar fragrance for many and gives it a welcome twist to make it fall in line within the blue fragrance genre. Guess Seductive Homme Blue is heavily inspired by Yves Saint Laurent's La Nuit De L'homme and to a degree, its Bleu Electrique flanker. While that alone might be a turn off for those looking for the original, don't count this one out just yet - this makes for a fantastic cheapie that can be thrown into a gym bag, left on your desk at the office, or even worn casually. Guess Seductive Homme Blue opens up with that familiar LNDL DNA with it's aromatic cardamom, and while LNDL tends to go woody and spicy, this one seems to go in the sweet, creamy, and powdery direction. The sand note listed is peculiar, but I guess that could explain the fragrance's "fuzzy" characteristic. It certainly helps it to give the fragrance some depth to rival that of the original LNDL and its infamous flanker. Performance is below average, but considering the price that you can typically find this for, just go heavy on the sprays. 3-5 hours depending on the day, not too bad. Throw this in your backpack, reapply after every other class, coming back from your lunch break, after the gym, you can really afford to go heavy/frequent on this. Overall Rating - 7.3/10 This is a great pickup if you're looking for something functional, cheap, and something to scratch that LNDL itch, especially if you're still looking for THAT flanker. While I tend to go for more interesting fragrances and I'm sure many of you would too, don't discount this one yet. This one sits on my desk at work, and it's because you don't even have to think about it. It. Just. Works. Every. Time.

Smells nice but the performance is very lacking. At first spray you get the cardamom and black pepper but not in a pungent way. Very smooth and maybe creamy. But it lasts just enough to notice them. There is a very light citrus and I get none of the caviar. It quickly gets soapy then get powdery . You reach the complete dry down in like 5 to 10 minutes. You get a soapy powder cashmere with a slight touch of cardamom. This is all about the base notes since anything other than that lasts just a few minutes. I think it smells good but if it had better performance this would be quite the special cheapie . The nice thing is that this is not expensive and it's a non offensive scent so over spraying won't be a bad thing. If you're trying to really project and have it last a bit longer you need at least 10-12 sprays. It's that weak. I've been spraying 6 times on my skin and it becomes an intimate smell in like 45 minutes. It's pretty much gone in like 2 to 3 hours. On clothes it lasts about 4 hours. Overall I give this a 5.5/10 . The performance is a backbreaking

Interesting perfume this one. I can see the comparison between this and la nuit (LN). But it’s kinda unique in its own right. It starts off fresh then goes into the notes similar to LN but with a powdery/soapy note in the background. As it goes into the mid the soapy note becomes more pronounced, I would say 50/50 powdery/soapy and LN. Once it’s in the dry down the LN note becomes less apparent and soapy notes takes over. The note itself is not generic powdery note rather a combination of the top mid which now lingers in the background. I would say it’s slightly unisex but leans more towards masculine. Longevity is 2-3 hours after that it’s a skin scent. It’s not bad , it’s not a dupe of LN rather a different variant of LN. Overall a decent perfume for spring/ summer perhaps autumn as well. Scent : 6/10 Longevity: 5/10 Uniqueness:6/10 Overall : 6/10

It's the first time in my life that I bought a fragrance online without smelling it first in a store. And I have to admit that I was expecting something more with this cologne, however I think Guess Seductive Homme Blue is a nice fragrance that I consider 'safe' for everyday use, specially if you work with all types of people. I don't know why it's called 'Seductive' because I don't find anything seductive here. It' a clean, soft and powdery scent. Nothing sexy, nothing intense and nothing shocking, just a simple and fresh fragrance. I really recommend it because when I'm wearing this, I receive many compliments and the people asks me for the name of the cologne. I don't recommended it if you want to use it for a date with your girl. Remember this one isn't a seductive fragrance, just a clean, nice, fresh scent with good longevity.

Yes, this reminds me of YSL LNDL with a soapy musky aftershave base. Since the perfumer is from Givaudan, I'm guessing he's using their equivalent to IFF Ambrettolide, which is Silvanone musk. It gives it a creamy, musky, skin lipid smell. That paired with cashmeran is building the "sand" accord. The slight blue tinge is probably Dihydromyrcenol which is used heavily (20~%) in vintage Davidoff cool water, but here it's just a smidge.. As far as the "caviar" accord, I think that's marketing, unless you think dihydromyrcenol smells like caviar. Anyway, I like this one. If you like LNDL but with soapy musky base, it may be a good, cheap fragrance to wear around the house or running errands. It smells like it's time period, the 2010's.

very nice scent, blind bought this today off ebay, $23 for a 1.7, wanted to try it because i REALLY like the original seductive and thought this would be one for the collection. First, i am somewhat surprised that it doesnt remind me of the original at all, but i do like it, its fresh, reminds me of a "economy Chanel Bleu" you know, the on a budget type of Bleu in the top notes. Im starting the drydown and now its still reminiscent of Blue but with a slight powder note to it. I will say the projection is pretty decent, just as good as Bleu on the other arm.Soo far pretty nice tho...............will update on middle and base a little later on.

This is a good smell. It's on the feminine side and what I mean is this smells like it could be a girl's perfume. I think this is a good gym scent because it's pleasant and it's inoffensive. I get only 2-3 hours longevity which is the big disappointment for me because it is a good smell. Seductive Blue isn't close to the original Seductive Homme. The original Seductive Homme lasts a good 7 hours and it projects a lot better too. Get the original Seductive Homme and skip this Seductive Blue. The longevity really kills this fragrance. It's sweet and kind of girly but it's positive for a man in simple situations. I give this a 76/100

Didn't initially like this because it had the typical guess smell I just didn't like. But then I saw the camparisons La Nuit and decided to give it a 2nd try. As soon as I was able to get the "Guess" out of my mind while smelling it, I started to like it. The initial spray will have an unpleasant platicy smell. But give it 10 mins and it really starts to shine. It smells great, but the performance lacks. You have to be right next to me, practically hugging me to smell it. My CO workers liked it when I asked them about it but they were never able to smell it with me just walking by.

Opini pribadi. Just OK. Wanginya bukan selera saya tapi tidak jelek juga. Menurut saya, occasion yang tepat menggunakan parfum ini adalah saat berada di lingkungan ber-AC. Performa parfum ini di kulit saya kurang bagus. Saya nyaris tidak bisa mencium wangi parfum ini saat digunakan di outdoor. Aman dipakai di kantor atau saat jalan-jalan ke mall. Ada yang bilang kalau ini mirip YSL La Nuit de l'homme yang mana belum pernah saya sniff. Mungkin parfum ini lebih ke intimate fragrance. Kalau begitu, yang ingin berduaan dengan pasangan di bioskop, parfum ini boleh dipertimbangkan.

This is a fresh, powdery, sweet scent - so sweet I'd almost label it as unisex ?!? I really like the smell though, just a shame that the projection is absolutely terrible. Half an hour after spraying you only have a skin scent. Longevity is decent though, at first I thought it was equally terrible, but I've had mornings after wearing where I would wake up and could still smell it. Usually wear it on casual days at home or when I don't have any appointments scheduled. Overall : a nice sweet citrus aquatic smell with a horrible projection.

You know this frag is pretty diverse, its suitable to almost any occasion day and night all four seasons, i think it is this way because it has that same sort of creamy sweet and spicy tang la nuit de l'homme has (which i think is the cardamom). This frag is also very airy and aquatic which makes it smell good, but not excellent like LNDL, still its not bad and it would be a good way to see if LNDL would be a good choice in the future because they smell so similar.

This is my second YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique inspired fragrance, the first being the more popular Lattafa Al Nashima Caprice. It's a kick of cardamom, pepper, and a little bit of citrus in the open that takes on an aquatic floral element in the heart before dropping into a base of sandy cashmirewood. Compared to the Lattafa, this is a fresher more aquatic take, making it ideal for the gym and hotter weather.

This was my first intro to fragrances in high school. I think I would get it at Target. Funnily enough, years down the line, I started liking YSL la nuit de l'homme without making the connection of the similar scent profiles. Regardless, this one holds a special place in my heart by virtue of nostalgia and I'm very grateful for it. It's a good scent for the money if you're just starting out and want to smell better.

This is a pretty good fragrance - it kind of reminds me of Blue Jeans by Versace but that's more sweeter and more floral. This fragrance lasts at least 3+ hours on my skin (on my recent test and I stopped counting at the 3 hour mark) and projects pretty good as well. For $20 USD for 100ml, you cannot go wrong with it. During hot Summer days I'll juggle between this and Versace Blue Jeans.

I quite like this one. It seems pretty versatile, it’s fresh and light which is perfect for day but it’s also quite warm and sophisticated for nighttime. I haven’t smelt the original Seductive Homme from Guess so I can’t compare but as it is I like this one a lot. I wore it for a week at work and had more than a few compliments, it’s also really affordable. Bottle is quite chunky though.

Cheap but performance-wise, excellent. Somehow, this reminds me of Versace Blue Jeans. I really think they smell similar except on their openings. The opening of this one seems really mellow, and dries down to smelling like VBJ, while VBJ might be very strong during the opening. GSHB gets the job done. It smells really good, perfect for those who want to smell good but on a budget.

Love the smell as others have said, but you better buy two, one for home and away because the longevity is no more than a couple hours. Great low key office scent, but Def nice enough to wear on a date. When it comes to dating and cologne, subtle is better than too much, but the longevity issues have me down on this Great bargain for 20 bucks at TJ or Marshalls, can't go wrong
