Guess Seductive Noir Women

Another successful cheapie blind buy. I still don't know what Mon Guerlain smells like (odd because I'm a huge fan of that house), but I can't imagine it being any better than this. I was expecting more of the heavy herbal top note (Lovely by SJP and MG both have lavender; this has sage instead), but I mostly smell delicious tart bergamot in the beginning, along with some sweet piquant peony, which creates a kind of lavenderish-vibe with the sage. But on my skin it doesn't come off masculine or even pleasantly medicinal like Lovely by SJP--a fragrance I like, regardless of how much it smells like MG. From the SN I get extremely well-blended vanilla and jasmine, with a little grapey iris and some green lily-of-the-valley. Even though I haven't had it on very long, I can smell the vetiver coming through--and surprisingly the bright citrus note of the bergamot is still perceptible to me. This smells expensive and not too gourmand--you smell like the person who gets to eat the fancy pastry, not the fancy pastry itself. It also smells very clean to me--possibly because of the bergamot and lily-of-the-valley, with a perfumey aldehyde note that helps with projection. I do get a faint hint of tobacco, which isn't listed, but I think it's sage or possibly just coumarin confusing my synapses again--there is definitely a nutty almond quality to the base, which might just be a characteristic of the vanilla. I don't really understand the "velvet" note, insofar as velvet is odorless, but maybe that's just branding talk for cashmeran or another musk. Update: I read some more reviews and learned that the Guess website lists the notes differently than Fragrantica (no velvet!). As this dries down on me, I'm really enjoying the way the vanilla and vetiver interact with the jasmine. I don't think I'm smelling tobacco--certainly not the pronounced note that I get from the coumarin in Joop! Le Bain--but the vetiver is so deep and rich that it smells a little smoky without smelling like incense or oud. It smells to me more like peatmoss and wild grass. So pretty that I'm tempted to buy a backup bottle but will resist the urge, since I already have more perfume than anyone needs. According to Texas Orange Blossom below, the real notes (as listed on Guess website) are as follows: Straight from the Guess website.... Top notes: bergamot, sage, peony Middle notes: iris pallida, jasmine sambac, muguet Dry notes: vetiver haiti, white suede, vanilla Update: I have the Mon Guerlain now, and I wear it fairly often (the EDP), but I won't stop wearing the SN, too. I'm glad to have both in my collection. I treat the SN as a flanker version of MG--except in this case it's a much less expensive one, nowhere near as pricey as any of the sanctioned ones. Yes, the Guerlain is better blended, and it seems to have better ingredients--the longevity is also better, although it's unfair to compare them, since the Guess is an inexpensive EDT. I do find them both to be in the general fougère category, with SN leaning more masculine (with its sage and stronger tobacco note) than the SN, and maybe equal to the SJP, although I see Lovely as more of a barbershop fougère, and MG and SN as borderline gourmand fougère, if such a beast is possible.

Finally got my hands on this after years of it being on my wanted list. It does remind me of "Mon Guerlain" but without the icky nasty licorice note. And that, makes this PERFECT! This goes on very creamy and yet spicy but the vanilla takes over completely and the iris gives a powdery feel as the sage provides a spicy kick. I didn't get that long of a wear from this, it lasted about 4 hours on me where i could pick up on it, But stayed a skin scent for at least 3 more hours. I just reapply from my pocket decant that I always carry daily. This is a very moderate, well behaved and yummy vanilla. A mature vanilla that has all the softness of deep-drydown "Mon Guerlain" but without the heavy Lavender and that hint of Licorice. Great pricing as well!! Honestly, i like this waaaaaaaay better than my "Burberry - Goddess" and "Lattafa - Angham" and i wish so badly that i would have bought this way back when i first considered it.....BEFORE i ended up 3 bottles deep in B.Goddess. 😤😤😤 I could have bought 5 full size bottles of SNPF for the price of just the FIRST bottle of BG. Stupid me...this is what i get for procrastinating. 😭😭😭 I'll keep the remainder of my current bottle of BG, but I'll send my backup bottle to my Aunt that loves the sample i sent to her earlier this year. Once i get more bottles of SNPF, i won't be wearing BG anymore. Backstory: I used to see this in Burlington every day 3-4 years ago and i never picked it up. As soon as i finally decided to get a full size bottle of this....every store in my area no longer has any for sale. Ross, Burlington, TJ Maxx, Walmart....none have it in stock within a 50 mile radius of me. I had to pick up a bottle while out of state...and the one i got is only a 30ml. So i guess I'll be ordering a few full-size bottles online. 14FEB25 UPDATE: I've been wearing this layered with another fragrance and I've gotten soooo many compliments on the combo!! A lady at the post office even stopped me on the way out to say that my fragrance smelled sooooo good and what was it because she wanted to buy a bottle. I told her it was a combination of two fragrances and gave her the little decant I always carry around of what I'm wearing for the day. She thanked me, gushing that she wasn't expecting to be able to have some of it. I really think that made her day, and i'm happy to have been a part of someone elses happiness. :) I also went ahead and bought a full-size bottle of SNPF and sent the remains of my little bottle to a fragrance friend. I hope it gets her as many compliments and positive receipt as it has for me. I am definitely ordering two backup bottles as soon as I can. I'm still kicking myself for waiting so long to get this beautiful vanilla...It used to be in every discount store that I went to in my town, now it cannot be found AT ALL....ANYWHERE! I never thought I'd have to order this online...but such is life.

I'm wearing Seductive Noir EDT the day after I wore Mon Guerlain EDP, and indeed they are very similar, although it would do a disservice to the wonderful nose Laurent Le Guernec to call Seductive Noir a dupe of the Wasser/Jelk composition. Sometimes very similar ideas arrive to people independently, and all the best perfumes in history (that we know of anyway) are responses to or revisions of other fragrances. Just as all literature is intertextual, perfumes cannot exist in a vacuum, untrammeled by cultural associations and the influence of other minds. So I suppose if you want to get all fancy about it, SN and MG are in conversation with each other and with our personal or cultural associations--many people are going to describe both perfumes as masculine or reminiscent of shaving cream because of the fougère-like qualities of this perfume, more specifically the lavender-tonka or sage-tonka accord that defines these perfumes and makes them recognizable (and in this way most like each other). Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely, also created by Le Guernec, shares this barbershop vibe and is, not coincidentally, also often described as masculine. But my associations with lavender and sage are wider than those attached to conventional gender norms. When I smell SN on myself, I think of expensive soaps and spices from Provence, and, yeah, sure, OK, hugging my grandpa, maybe a little, but that's a loving scent memory, not a way of saying that SN exudes butchness. A friend once described SN as smelling like birthday cake with blown-out candles and never mentioned the sage (or the subversion of gender norms) at all. I hope Guess never stops making it. I find the longevity to be quite impressive, especially for an EDT, and the price simply can't be beat. I have a good stock of Mon Guerlain, but I don't really consider Seductive Noir to be redundant, even though it's a lot like MG and might easily be mistaken for that one if smelled on skin in the wild. To me MG's base and its snazzy little flourish of licorice or anise with the herbaceous lavender give it an overall more aromatic aspect. Also, the Guerlain vanillas are among the best in the world, so it's a little unfair to compare them to the humbler iteration available to Guess (which is to say whatever major international corporation is servicing Guess, or vice versa). I think it's possible to acknowledge these differences without diminishing the value of Seductive Noir, whch smells far more expensive than it actually is. The MG smells expensive because it is expensive: big whoop!

I ordered two new Montale gourmands, and three Guerlains and threw this in the cart for $20 because I heard good things. Then I was trying the Montales and this one all at once with my husband and he asked me which was my favorite and I said Cafe Intense for me, (I love a dark, brooding, rose - its the same one in Cafe Rose and Atomic Rose and Infini Rose), Guess SN for going out, and Chocolate Greedy for going to bed (with him)." Chocolate Greedy is kinda like if Choco Musk was an expensive dark chocolate with mandarin oranges and a hit of coffee instead of a linear powdery Tootsie Roll that lasted and projected like a Montale (until you wash it off) instead of ghosting after 3 hours (tops) like a $8 perfume like Choco Musk does - which I love for the 3 hours I can smell it on me...but I gave the rest of my bottle to my 4 year old after I got Chocolate Greedy and it smells perfect on her clothes. Really like a baby girl should smell not a 30 year old married mother. Choc Greedy of course smells and performs amazing like all Montales do. BUT I asked my husband which one was his favorite and he said, "Oh definitely the one you said you'd wear for going out (GSN)." Lol my husband is 35. GSN does smell BEAUTIFULLY crafted. But be warned kids, it does smell like a perfume - not like you spilled a couple of the ingredients for your cake. I haven't got my Guerlains in the mail yet so I can't compare it to them yet side by side and don't trust my memory of how it smelled when I first smelled MG a while ago to give an amazing comparison breakdown but Ill come back when I do get them and compare it to all 3 MGs. I ordered Mon Guerlain EDP, the Intense flanker, and the Sparkling Bouquet flanker so if this smells anything like any of those then my husband is going to be one happy man. I DID hear the Mon Guerlains were "wifey" scents. Rumors confirmed. This was my husbands favorite, so IF this smells like the MG EDP, and considering the votes, it must smell like it at least a little bit, "wifey" scents indeed...which I consider the highest compliment from a man for a women's perfume. I'd wear this in all weather's and seasons. It's not "too" anything. It's lovely. And who and how is someone smelling Barbisol shaving cream? That isn't the perfume that's your upper lip.

Doing a side-by-side comparison of Guerlain Mon Guerlain EDP on my left wrist, and Guess Seductive Noir EDT on my right wrist. Opening: MG is much sharper, probably due to the lavender that sits on top of the skin. SN opens with a slight blast of alcohol, which disappears quickly to reveal a similar opening to MG, but much softer and rounder and slightly less strong. Middle: MG remains more herbal, as the lavender is still noticeably present. SN reduces in its herbalness and instead goes more floral. The rose in MG starts making a presence, whereas the floral notes in SN lean more towards white florals. Still very similar. Dry-down: MG remains a little bit more sharp, with more of the lavender still present, whereas SN brings out more of the soft and round vanilla. The sharpness in MG does remind me a little bit of the sharpness that is present in YSL Libre and some fruitchouli scents, even though MG is not a fruitchouli. SN stays a soft vanilla, soft and round like Sol de Janeiro SOL Cheirosa 62 EDP, although without the sweet caramel notes. Its softness does bring it closer to "simple" vanilla body sprays, whereas MG keeps balancing the vanilla with lavender. Verdict: I owned MG before SN, but I prefer SN. The lavender note in MG does not blend in to my skin, and seems to stay awkwardly on top. This is something I also had with YSL Libre, so maybe it's something lavender does on me. SN turns into a soft cloud of vanilla -- sweet, but not caramel or sickly and keeping just the tiniest bit of an herbal edge from the sage. Because of scent associations to similarly soft and pleasant vanilla body sprays, SN does smell a little bit cheaper than the sharper MG. But this is not a judgement of its quality at all, and is purely based on the lack of herbal MG/Libre-like vanilla scents as body sprays. They are very similar, with SN being the slightly softer and rounder one out of the two. As Seductive Noir retails for about a quarter the price of Mon Guerlain, I would say it's a clear winner. Edit: 3 hours later, both have turned into skin scents, but Seductive Noir smells slightly stronger.

This fragrance instantly made me create a persona: a college student raised by her witch grandmother, spending long hours in her university greenhouse while working on her graduation thesis. Dark academia with a tomboy vibe. She knows every herb by name, rides a motorcycle, and wears a leather jacket with high-waisted baggy jeans. Short dark hair. She spends her holidays exploring medicinal plants in Southeast Asia rather than relaxing on the beach. To me, the sage and suede make this fragrance feel slightly androgynous, and I absolutely love that blend. Is it similar to Mon Guerlain EDP? I’d say yes—but it’s much more casual. If this fragrance belongs to a witchy tomboy, then Mon Guerlain belongs to a feminine witch working at the Ministry of Magic. She wears a dusty lavender Max Mara dress with 7 cm Christian Louboutin heels, while Seductive Noir throws on a white ZARA T-shirt, COS baggy jeans, and Dr. Martens. By the way, I received my bottle today, and the little front sticker was sooo off-center! 😂 I peeled it off immediately, and honestly, it was the best decision. Now it looks like an anonymous medicine bottle sitting on a shelf in a witch’s laboratory. Also, I think Guess chose the wrong name. To me, this isn’t a particularly seductive fragrance. I’d have called it something like Glamping Night or The Tomboy Witch. Those names fit the personality of this scent much better.

Seductive Noir is a SERIOUS perfume. Very rich, warm, sexy and deep deep down a little masculine (in a good way) that makes it perfect! That masculine vibe is so balanced with the sweet notes SN has (Vanilla - Iris - Velvet tf?) and is similar to that feeling I had with one of my top favorite perfumes: Lalique Le Parfum edp. It is dark, really seductive, ideal for nights out (or in) throughout the year. For an edt it has a remarkable longevity. Overall, I could say that Seductive Noir shares some similarities with: - Lalique Le Parfum edp. (A true sweet beast - longevity wise, with that heavenly Bay Leaf scent). - Love Potion by Oriflame. (This one is very close to SN imo, maybe 75% although the notes listed are completely different. Lol) *I adore Mon Guerlain, I believe that is the ultimate woman perfume with the most luxurious vanilla ever made. I cannot understand the hundreds of people that finds them sooooo similar, even a dupe! Yes, they are both vanilla oriented, they share Bergamot, Iris, Jasmine Sumbac, they have a similar vibe in some (abstract?) way, BUT when the party starts for MG it has already finished for SN! Of course I don't whine about anything regarding that surprisingly good and affordable find! LOVE IT!

The dry down is what sold me on this one. This starts out as a clone of Mon Guerlain. I sniffed it for the first time and my eyes rolled back in my head but then I realized why I liked it - it smells exactly like Mon Guerlain which is my signature scent. I already have that so why would I need this? It is a more vanillic Mon Guerlain which I appreciate since I do love vanilla. But that still wasn’t enough to sell me on this. Then, the dry down and the magic happens. Where did Madonna Truth or Dare Naked come from? It’s like Mon Guerlain and TOD Naked had a baby who smelled like vanilla custard. The sillage and longevity are decent considering the price. Nowhere near Mon Guerlain which lasts on me for eons and garners compliments from five feet away. But that’s ok. For the price I can afford to re-apply. And it’s honestly not bad. It still outperforms a lot of other expensive designer scents, in my experience (I’m testing multiple fragrances today). This is like the best Mon Guerlain flanker ever if, like me, you love a Tonka bean and vanilla type sweet scent.

Edit: I wear this ALL THE TIME. It’s beautiful - and addictive! I just love it. I often wear it to bed to wake up to soft, powdery, dark vanilla. The scent stays a long time on fabric. I buy a bottle every time I see one at Ross for myself and to gift. It’s appropriate anytime, anywhere, and even if it were not, I wouldn’t care! It’s hard to believe what a great quality perfume this is for such small price. So easy to love it! Guess Seductive Noir kept getting in my way as I looked through the offerings at Ross. After months of pushing past it for other selections, I finally had to just ignore the name and the 80’s bottle design and put it in my basket. Well, I’m impressed! It’s much better than I expected and it may end up a love for me. Previous reviews have thoroughly described what it smells like, so I’ll just comment that the vanilla is a standout to me - soft and really pretty, and I get some light tobacco as well. Warm, confident, and sexy, longevity is 8-10 hours. Lovely for fall and winter!

FAVORITE SEDUCTIVE FLANKER FROM THE RANGE !!! It is deep, sexy, strong and long lasting for an EDT and especially from Guess making weak lasting power usually imo. Think of a Sage that doesn't smell synthetic or old like what my detestable dadside grandma used to overspray anywhere in her house. It's deep, rich, sultry and creamy complimented by florals such as Iris, Sage, Peony, Jasmine Sambac, Lily-of-the-Valley. A bit of fruitiness with a fresh Bergamot It's strong because of that noble Haitian Vetiver and Velvet facet. Creamy with the white florals and the Vanilla offering a slight powderyness to the blend. A blend that's deep but not in the bad way, intoxicating but not in the bad way either. Something dark, yet creamy, sexy, fruity-floral. An affordable signature scent that reminds me of Mon Guerlain which is a strong lavender mature scent. It is even better than it's French inspiration. 9/10 I fell in love with it, definitely buying other flankers until the production stops.

I bought this so I can cross compare for myself based on comparisons to Mon Guerlain, which I also own and enjoy. I have to say, it’s a stellar, less expensive alternative for sure! I will say, the one thing that stands out the most is what my nose picks ups as an interesting dry element. This comes from what I perceive as more wood and powdery notes. Perhaps from the vetiver which I adore in other perfumes I have as well. I don’t feel this dry element from Mon Guerlain. I would consider MG a little juicier and maybe even boozier in comparison. Nonetheless, this dry nuance makes it more sophisticated and comforting than I thought it would be. Great for an evening out, date night, or even before bed. Although I own MG, I would totally purchase Seductive Noir again. It was a successful blind buy for me. At least this one I can spray with liberal abandon because of its more reasonable price point.

Guess Seductive Noir...you are indeed seductive. This fragrance opens with a banging burst of sage, bergamot and peony. Talk about an introduction. That initial whiff is juicy, spicy and delicious. From my first sniff, I knew I was gonna be hooked. As this fragrance develops the iris, jasmine sambac and lily of the valley appear. This floral combination makes this perfume smell even yummier. Then there’s vanilla, hatian vetiver and velvet in the dry down and they’re perfectly blended. Guess Seductive Noir is a winner. I’m blown away at how gorgeous and beautiful it really is. Seductive Noir did what Seductive Red and Guess Seductive couldn’t do because Seductive Noir is actually sexy. I tip my hat to the nose behind this bottle of juice. Guess did its thing with this one. The sillage is great. The longevity is good and it’s affordable. I’d wear this sexy little number in any season.

Three scenarios spring to mind. Concurring contradictions. The First. The deep dry down of Guess original. (The fragranced body oil in the signature twist shape with pearlescent pulverized fish scales.) Circa 1993. I’m 15, crushing on a cutie football player with gorgeous brown eyes. We kiss for hours. The Second. Badlands. Fallout. Hot pine needles and tumbleweeds. Painted hills and waves of heat Turquoise jewelry, cowboy boots, short-shorts and a spliff. Top down in the Jeep. The Third. Autumn Harvest. Cool dew on dead grass in the morning mist. Spiderwebs, and smudge sticks, and the melancholy of summertime gone. Guess Seductive Noir delivers. I’ve tried Mon Guerlain. I’ll take sage over lavender, hands down. I’ve tried Mon Guerlain Sensuelle with the amped up vanilla. Side by side, while similar, I prefer Seductive Nior. Guess takes me places.

This smells deep and dark without being heavy. It has vanilla but feels fresh at the same time, maybe because of the sage, i dont know. I don't find it overbearing or reminiscent of cigarettes at all! At the opening some may find it more "masculine" or sharp, but that sharpness disappears after 5-10 minutes and it becomes a sexy, dark, mix of floral and earthy notes. As others have commented it has gothy vibes and that is the reason I blind bought it. I like it both in the cold and warm months, contrary to what most suggest. In the summer it is significantly sweeter? Fruitier? Juicier? You can smell it on clothes for a day and the sillage is apparently good, because people always notice it, even though i don't smell it on me that much. Also, men tend to like it a lot. All in all, it emanates a sexy but not in any way vulgar, confident aura.

Dark, Velvety & Sweet VANILLA & HAITIAN VETIVER. In the first couple of minutes I can smell the powdery aromatics with soft herbal and faint fruity touches, and already vanilla is there. As the sillage starts to open up, I get a powdery sweet iris with soft floral touches, and the near-fruity touches are continued by a grape-leaning jasmine. The vanilla base is sweet & faintly creamy, with vetiver accents of soft grassy & faint fruity touches. In the drydown the darkly sweet combination of vanilla & Haitian vetiver leans to tonka. The velvet note is consistent with this being a soft and not a sticky scent. Overall, I get a darkly soft & sweet aromatic vanilla scent with excellent performance for year round wear, although the dark & sweet profile makes it most appropriate for fall & winter. It's a love for me. 10/10. Enjoy!

I have a unique body chemistry due to a genetic condition so I tend to get different notes out of perfumes than most, and some of these reviews had me whaaa?! I am an unashamed lover of noir & rich aromatic fragrances and I didn't expect something from Guess to be the 'that's what I've been missing in the rest' blind buy. It is powdery incense bliss. On me the silage is long lasting and my husband, who absolutely hates the idea of wearing any scent, asked if he could borrow. To me it's very androgynous which suits me as an enby just fine. Similars in my collection include Narciso Poudree, Agent Provocateur's Fatale Intense, Kat Von D's Sinner and Just Rock from Z&V. Personally I hate vanilla, so I was surprised to find that in Seductive Noir, it was the balancing note the rest have missed. On me it settles beautifully.

Delicious, sexy, dark and herbal. Vanilla and vetiver are the stars here, so this sweet smoky scent predominates with hints of herbal notes. In the dry down it gets even sweeter. I know it sounds weird, but I have to shake the bottle before I spritz, if I don't do it and direct spray it on my skin without shaking it I get ONLY the herbal notes with the vetiver (which smells like man's cologne). So if you can't smell the vanilla and find that the perfume smells weird try giving the bottle a good shake before using it? This is the perfect date night scent and also perfect for cold weather. It's a safe blind buy for vanilla scents lovers (just know that it's a perfume with a bit more of a unissex vibe because of the sage and the vetiver, you can definitely smell them)

I love overspraying this, it's not too heavy but it's warm and vanilla/herbal/powdery. Maybe a tad bit synthetic smelling, but for the price you really can't complain. I say overspray bc it doesn't project very much after 30 mins and overspraying will let me smell this on myself after several hours when I've forgotten that I'm even wearing perfume, but it's a pleasant surprise. At first I wasn't crazy for Seductive Noir as to my nose it was too much in the same ballpark as Reb'l Fleur and Euphoria, which I both have and barely use, but after wearing it over the past couple of weeks I'm really loving it. Really makes me want to try more scents with sage. And also to try Mon Guerlain. I'd say this is a safe blind buy if you like warm vanilla scents.

After second time of trying this through a sample I was mind blown. The opening doesn't promise much with some sour citrus note that comes off like some generic drugstore perfume, but it takes so short for it to transform into fresh picked iris flowers, sage, maybe even a bit of jasmine, but it is not forward and punjant as usual in perfumes. This is not linear, concerning the price it very deep and rich. Iris goes on for some time as the star of the show, and slowly vanilla and suede start coming out. Vanilla makes it gourmand bud not edible. After sooo many hours it is still going feeling so fluffy, cloud like, comfy.... For me this an ideal cold spring scent. It brings me the sunny feeling. I ordered fb right away and couldn't be happier.

I LOOOOOOVE this fragrance. Heard good things about it, complete blind buy for me; but I was absolutely sold on the first spray. The bergamot, sage, and jasmine make a simply lovely first impression; and base notes of lily-of-the-valley and vanilla truly bring this scent together for a sexy, mysterious, even witchy scent. My only complaint is that after about an hour and 10 sprays, I can't smell it on me anymore. Which is such a shame, because it is rare to find such beautifully complex sage scents in affordable fragances :( Not at all disappointed with this fragrance composition wise; it's easily a favorite, lives up to its name. I wish it had more longevity and sillage; everyone in the world needs to smell this perfume!!!

Since I really loved Modern Muse Noir (I think it's been my favourite perfume ever) I started looking for a dupe for it, as sadly it was discontinued :-( (WHY?!) And here it comes... Guess Seductive Noir... I went today to the drugstore to check it out. And wow, the opinions turned out to be true, it is very similar to the old good MMN. It's been so great to be able to smell such a similar fragrance, which brought me those great memories connected with MMN. I think longevity is pretty ok (especially for this price), while sillage has definitely less power. But it's all ok, it's generally a great "copy", so I won't complain. Now I need to have it. Btw, am I the only one who smells tonka in it?

Very, VERY close to MG. MG is, to my nose, a bit sharper with the lavender as opposed to the sage. I love both. The SN inches a bit ahead, however. It’s just smoother. They are almost identical hours after initial spray. I accidentally layered this with Burberry Goddess, and it was the most serendipitous fragrance error I’ve ever made. The combo is now my signature. Just try it. As inexpensive as GSN is, if you have Goddess, you can’t go wrong. I almost hate that I’ve outed myself and my little secret fragrance combo, but, really, what are the chances anyone really read my post and took my advice lol? Yeah on second thought, don’t try it, I’m a crazy person and like to smell like a blob fish.

After unboxing it and spraying it for the first time, I honestly felt a bit disappointed coz of the strong powdery smell. I felt a bit let down and tried a few more sprays.. still couldn't like it or appreciate the reviews.. I let it rest for a few days and now! Guess what???!!! I'm obsessed with this perfume.. I mean seriously, its amazing for the evenings! I cannot touch another bottle for a while now.. It's so beautiful, lasts very well, smooth and uplifting. Its sweet vanilla, herbal.. and woody.. I kinda feel fresh too.. its calming and sensual. It's such a good buy! I blind bought it and I'm glad I bought it.. Guess Seductive Noir.. I might buy a backup soon..

One of my most successful blind buys! (And I don't bb often!) This lovely, affordable dark-leaning aromatic perfume lasts a solid 6 hours on me, and I can smell it on myself in a strong scent bubble that projects moderately off me. Upon initial spray, my husband says he can smell it easily, but it eventually dries down to a bit more of an intimate scent according to him. For me, I can smell it on myself the whole time. It is an easy-to-reach-for, flirty and feminine scent. I don't understand why anyone would say it has any amount of masculine-leaning notes. This is one bottle I will always have in my collection, for its cozy, comforting and sensual appeal.

This is a gorgeous fragrance! It opens with an invigorating herbal blast. Once that initial herbal blast the peony and iris start to come through, making it beautifully delicate and elegant. The vanilla is very present throughout, giving it a cosy softness that is oh so addictive. Next to that is the dark smokiness of the vetiver, giving it just enough of an edge to keep it exciting and seductive. The whole composition works so well together! The safe lifts it and keeps it from being too soft and floral/vanillic, while the vetiver grounds and darkens it. Whenever I wear this, I keep sniffing myself. It’s an incredible scent especially for the price.

I bought this as an affordable all rounder/dumbreach and I wear it so often. As much as I love Mon Guerlain I have in fact never owned a full bottle of the OG EDP or the intense. Even though Mon Guerlain smells of slightly higher quality (obviously) the price difference is just enormous in my eyes, especially since Seductive Noir does not smell llike a 25€ fragrance at all (in Germany you can get a 75 ml bottle for around 25€). It projects fairly good and lasts 6-8 hours on me. On clothes it lasts for days. I get told I smell good when I wear it and people are suprised when I tell them how affordable it is. I highly recommend it.

So far this has become my all time favorite perfume ever. I'm a budget girly as a university student so designer and most niche brands are completely out of my range. The guess seductive line actually caught my attention through my mom who got me red and herself the original (which she later also gave me). Noir smells exactly like it is described. It opens up spicy and slightly woody but quickly reveals a deep sweetness. The dry down is the best part though, a sweet sophisticated rich vanilla with slight hints of spice. It's amazing. Smells very expensive. Longevity is slightly better than what youd expect for that price.

I was absolutely wowed by this cheapie! Its lovely, So nicely blended! Starts out super aromatic and earthy then dries down to the most beautiful deep and sexy vanilla floral, almost feel as if there's a tobacco note they didn't list? This is a very deep and sexy scent. Perfect for a date night or any time you wanna feel grown, mysterious and, sexy! EDIT 3/14/25- Layer this beauty with Sand+Fog Vanilla sugar perfume oil! They pair perfectly and makes it last even longer. I cannot tell you how obsessed I have been with this combo!! So delicious and sexy! I think I've got a new signature scent to add to the list 🤔

This is SEXY....It's definitely giving me the vibe of evening date at a rooftop lounge looking at the skyline...this is something you wear with a sophisticated outfit, like business professional with a touch of leather, or it's like a girl at the world's most expensive gentleman's club...I just LOVE it, it's got vanilla but not in an edible way, and the sage and bergamot smell almost herbal, which help it to smell more niche. My family can smell it on me in the car and across the room within an hour of me spraying it. This is definitely worth the money, and I'm so happy I did a blind buy for this.

I blind bought this after another mon guerlain dupe to scratch the itch for it and to see if I’m willing to invest in Mon Guerlain as it is closest to my signature. From reviews I get that Mon Guerlain is smoother/better blended than cheap dupes but DNA is close enough to me to enjoy for now. I layered it unintentionally with a dona born in roma dupe and it was lovely today. Seems like a safe buy as Mon Guerlain is pretty mass appealing. Interesting to note how sage can compensate the lavander from original in perfume at cheaper price. I guess it’s not blended enough but it did it’s job!

This is one of my favorite perfumes ever. When you put this on you don't immediately get "flower" from it, this perfume is kind of floral but not flowery in the same way that it has a sweetness while not being a "sweet" perfume. I get more of a musky depth from it tbh? My opinion on it is that it is a nuanced scent (or at least more nuanced than I was expecting from a 15€ perfume) that with normal application (4 spritzes) isn't offensive or strong, great for everyday wear in a work setting. It's just a great all rounder and quite a few people have told me that they really like it on me.

I blind-bought this for the wife, and I must say, we both enjoy it a lot. She has an older, macerated bottle of Mon Guerlain that admittedly has been sitting in the sunlight (the top notes may be a bit diminished), and truth be told, I find it hard to decern between the two. To the extent that, I'm wondering if a $100+ bottle of Mon Guerlain will ever again be worth it when I can continue to by Guess Seductive Noir for twenty bucks. It does have a elegant, mature, sophisticated vibe which I love. It doesn't smell like something a teenager would wear to school. A+ will be buying again!

I am so happy I bought this!!! My favorite perfume, Modern Muse Nuit by Estee Lauder has been discontinued, and people who still have bottles have been selling them of for about £200 which is just too much for me. This smells 95% identical to MM Nuit, it's so good and im very happy. As for the scent itself, this is Deff a strong / heavier scent. it's a winter/fall perfume for sure, definitely a going-out fragrance I dont think this would be very office-friendly to those who may not like strong scents. This is a sexy intoxicating scent, great for date night ;)

Guess Seductive Noir is so addictive to me! Thanks to Ross, I have a supply that may not be exhausted in my lifetime. It is beautiful in every season, so well-balanced and well-behaved that it is never overwhelming or harsh. In the summer heat, the vanilla adds a surprising fruity facet to the floral notes that is just stunning. The performance is simply outstanding and the cost is so ridiculously low that it feels like a mistake every time they ring it up. GSN is one of my all-time favorite perfumes and the best bargain scent I own.

This perfume really surprised me. I prefer fresh perfumes, cleaner scents. However, this one has a freshness accompanying the darkness if that's even possible. It is a dark vanilla and I think the vetiver makes it lean very masculine. However, there is a brightness to it which balances it out really well. This makes it quite wearable. I really like it. Edit: Some time has passed and I've noticed that the longevity improves as the fragrance ages. Wore it recently and it lasted the whole workday on my skin and clothing.

I blind bought this from Burlington. The set was 19 usd and I cannot pass the good price. I absolutely love it. I am so used to strong ME perfumes so this for me is day time fragrance. This smells luxurious despite the cheap price. It reminds me of Mon Guerlain. Not an exact copy but close and pleasant enough. My bottle, thankfully, does not have the screechy opening that most people get. Side note: I tested this with Khamrah Qahwa (I blind bought that too) and my husband chose this for me. He loves it on my skin.

Sexy, sexy, sexy!!! A lovely evening/ special occasion GLAM frag, not 4every occasion but wow how iconic it is when trying 2make a statement. Not overwhelming or kitschy. Subdued. Old Money. Elegant, beautiful and *Seductive*. At 1st, floraly, dries down vanilla/ sweet citrusy and then there's this mysterious note i can't quite put my finger on but it gives that touch of glamour. Call me weird but i imagine a Mafia boss wife wearing this (a compliment in my books lmao) Just glam, beauty and grace in a bottle.

This perfume in the opening definitely gives off a powerful sage scent but in the best possible way. Definitely get a little bit of bergamot and then on my skin it just settles into a very beautiful vanilla vetiver- ish scent. I get it why people compare it to men’s aftershave smell as it gives off that vibe. The projection is also good, I once sprayed it on my boyfriend and I could smell it the whole day. The whiffs it give while walking is heavenly. Definitely should give this a try. Rating-8/10

I didn’t expect Seduction Noir to hit this hard, but WOW. This is Mon Guerlain’s sexy little sister—warmer, sweeter, and a bit more dangerous. The plum gives it a juicy bite, the praline adds a delicious edge, and the vanilla‐cacao base? Absolutely edible. It’s soft, but it lingers. It’s sweet, but never childish. It’s feminine, but with a grown‐woman confidence that makes people lean in. This is the kind of perfume that makes you feel like you’re glowing from the inside out. I’m obsessed.

This is my current signature scent. Its affordable, project decently, lasts at least 4-5 hours. The jasmine and vetiver notes are so lovely and really come through. This is a great perfume for day to day wear, and since its so affordable, I have no fear of spraying it to my heart's content. I mainly get compliments from guys on this perfume. This is a wonderful blind buy if you want a sexy everyday perfume without breaking bank. 10/10 would repurchase many times again!

I blind bought this at Shoppers for $21, and I love it so much. At first I was worried; the lavender was way too strong for my liking, and it smelt too much like a typical cologne, but eventually It dried down to a really sexy warm vanilla. It kind of smells like a Victoria’s Secret scent, but more classy. However, this is definitely not a scent for the summer, but perfect for winter and fall, and maybe even spring. It definitely has character and I’m in love.

I honestly didn’t believe it, and yet it’s true; this is a very good dupe for Mon Guerlain! The same vanilla, the same iris, the same jasmine. I tested it on the back of my left hand, with the original on the back of my right and yes, it’s almost identical, and at a very reasonable online price on top of that. I’d even say it sits somewhere between Mon Guerlain and Mon Guerlain Intense. On my skin, the longevity is excellent. A really lovely discovery!

Contrary to a lot of reviews I can't detect a single 'masculine' note in this. There is nothing masculine about this at all, quite the opposite. It's very feminine and comforting, like a mother's hug. And I say this as a fan of ultra feminine fragrances - the sweeter and more floral the better. I'd also like to point out I wanted Mon Guerlain for ages but this is so close to Mon Guerlain it's pointless spending so much money a bottle of Guerlain.

Finally this is in my collection!! I’ve been eyeing this perfume for months now. The second I saw the notes I knew I would love this fragrance. The second I sprayed this perfume I was hooked. It’s a sexy vanilla velvet like perfume with a hint of muskiness, almost herbal like. This is a great budget friendly perfume that will still bring in all the attention and compliments because of how seductive it is. I recommend!

It opens unisex or even a little bit masculine. I honestly didn't see the appeal at first. But something kept calling me back to my test swatch on the box. As I returned to it, the softness of the scent grew on me. It dries down much more feminine. By the evening I decided I wanted to wear this on my body and I wasn't disappointed. The smell I woke up to was even more pleasant than the one I went to sleep with.

I was surprised by this one, especially given the price! It shares a lot of similarities with the Mon Guerlain line (esp. Intense) but with subtle differences in the opening and dry down (a tad more herbal in the opening and a tad more vanillic in the dry down). The biggest difference is that unfortunately the lasting power is pants! But given the price you can spray liberally, so I can't really complain!

This is a perfect date night/night scent! It’s very sexy, feminine and musky. I can see why people would think it’s a unisex scent but it definitely leans feminine with the florals and the vanilla. I can see both men and women wearing this scent & for the price it’s so worth it! The projection, the longevity, it isn’t the kind of smell that you’ll get sick of! It’s just that amazing. 🫶🏽

delicious, botanical fresh vanilla. reminds me of a cool summer afternoon, grey skies and light rain. i spray it on before i take a nap and life is peaceful. but i wear it to a party later that night and blackout on the lawn. beautiful cheapie and lasts fairly long too. definitely a staple for me now! a scent for girls who’s auras are eternally underlined with darkness and sweetness:)

This is such a pretty scent, it's just so dark and earthy and eventually dries down to a lovely vanilla. There is something a bit medicinal about it, but it's pleasant to me. I feel like it's such a witchy scent, it gives sitting in an herb garden after dark or before daylight drinking herbal tea and burning vanilla incense. It's not in the notes but I find it just a bit smoky.

I first thought this scent was very sharp but the moment after it turn into this beautiful mature vanilla. Absolutly stunning! It is an edt so it doesn’t last long on the skin at all, BUT spray it on your clothes and it will last all day. Bought mine for 16$ It’s cosy and extremely affordable! EDIT: This is probably the best cheap fragrance out there, I’m obsessed!
