Seductive Blue

Why the hell does this $19.99 Guess Perfume bought at Ross smell so much nicer, well blended, and better quality than other perfumes I have in the over $100 category??? Some $280 fragrances that I have are more like a fleeting whisper. This isn't beast mode but it does give me lots of wafts and it's good. Longevity so far its been 6 hours and i can still smell it everywhere i sprayed. I was happily surprised when I picked this up for what I got it for. It's the 75ml for about $20. Let me just say - the Pear and Plum are fresh and JUICY. Not sure how cyclamen smells but it works. Peony is dainty. Freesia is watery. Something is watery in here..it's cool and breezy. Like a sunny day with amazing breeze...the clouds have silver linings. The rose water is soothing. It just smells like a luxurious spa in a beach side resort. Clean, uplifting, CAREFREE. I'm picturing myself diving into deep sparkling blue waters off of a fancy yacht... I'm wearing a white bikini and I'm 30 lbs lighter lol. 🤪 I'm so glad I bought this because I almost rolled my eyes at it when I saw it. (Red got nauseating even tho it was good quality and I havent reached for Noir in a long time) but this one -- you could put the juice in a high end niche bottle and I wouldn't even know it's actually less than $30 retail and even $10 less than that in ross 😅 I keep talking about money but I mean fragrances are having a moment right now and people are starting to become fragheads and are shelling out for high designer / niche prices but this one is a lovely gem IF you're into fresh/ citrus/ fruity/juicy/sweet/airy fragrances. Great for summer and spring. Which would be year round for where I live. GRAB IT IF YOU SEE IT. 👀 I do not have anything else like it in my collection.

I am so glad I got to test this today because it's an instant love. I was intimidated by the amber note, but it's only the dry down that is a sweet mellow resinous amber. It opens with its fruity notes - bergamot and pear juice over plush peony and freesia. The rose water note is light and aquatic. I was instantly transported to summer vacation bliss, hanging out by a lake on a sunny day with some cool breeze. I love fruity aquatics. This one does not smell cheap. The plum and faint patchouli give it depth. I would have to classify it as an amber fragrance by the end. It's amber and ripe plum. These base notes survived three hand washings. Guess perfumes aren't known for great performance. I would say it has moderate sillage and lasts up to 6 hours on my skin.

Really nice for the price, it was a little sharp and messy at first spray, but after letting it sit for a few days before wearing again, it smoothed out a lot. I can certainly see the resemblance to Versace Dylan Purple, about 75% of the way there, but not as nice. Don't think it smells anything like Ocean di Gioia, the pear hits totally different in this, and also don't see much similarity with Sea Rose. This is nice, nothing amazing but its a fresh, sweet, summery fruit cocktail. I enjoy the fragrance but man the longevity is awful, I swear it's almost completely faded in an hour even layered with the lotion. Nice to use as a refresher at the very least since it is super affordable.

I love it. I saw it in the shelf in store and was like, oh something new, let’s try. Immediately I felt in love. First it feeld a bit cheap and overwhelming but after a minute perfume settles down, and it’s fruity floral sweet jam, it boosts my mood the whole day and motivates me, to live in a moment and enjoy it. I know it sounds like too much from 14 euro perfume, for me it’s a little miracle. The whole autumn and winter I was wearing seductive noir and now its time to change for summer version. Maybe not for everyone so try and make your mind

I was in Germany last month and picked up a 30ml of this fragrance as that was the only size available. Very little stock of this and haven't seen it sold in my neck of the woods. Anyway I am loving this and have already used most of my bottle. It is very light but still lingers on the skin for about 2-4 hours. Would definitely repurchase if only I could find it!

This one is pretty! I am pleasantly surprised! It is clean but not soapy and very uplifting. Typically, I am not a huge fan of anything rose but I don't smell it here. It isn't at all screechy and I found that it was a great mood booster on a gloomy rainy day. It's an easy reach for sure and I think it will be a great one for spring and summer!

This is sweet but not cloying, fresh, uplifting, and beautiful. It is not particularly long-lasting, but for $12 at Ross I think you can afford to respray liberally. Don't pass this one up if you want a fun summery perfume that is lighthearted but doesn't veer into childish territory. A+

When I tell you, if you see this little beauty at Marshall's or Tj Maxx pick her up, i mean it! Fresh easy to wear scent, Very clean and aquatic. I could see this being a hit with a lot of people. Lasts about 6 hours on me. Very pleasantly surprised by this blind buy!

Pretty similar to Dylan Purple! Fresh, fruity, so CLEAN and bright smelling. Very "shampooey" but I have such a love for these kinds of scents. Also has that wonderful "magazine page" type of smell, which I can never get enough of.

weak sillage and subious longevity (i can never tell) But a VERY refreshing and lovely scent. I love the way it smells and I'm so excited to wear it all day long in the summer! Its floral but fruity and aquatic....very pleasant

Aquatic, tropical and fresh !!! This smells like tropical fruit shampoo to me. Only downside to this fragrance is the weak longevity but apart from that I love her 🍒🌺

yummy candy shop fragrance. It also smells like a delicious soft conditioner. Unfortunately very weak though. Perfect to wear before bed.

tested this a while back and found it very nice! gave me intriguing mix of seductive femme and carefree beach girl. at first I didn't think the scent was that special but I found myself constantly sniffing my wrist trying to figure the ingredients out. very unique which was surprising, since I think most of Guess' scents are quite ordinary. the sillage was rather intimate, but the longevity surprised me - I could detect one spray on my sleeve perfectly for several hours. so good value for money, I'd say. this gives me the vibe I expected from Light Blue, so maybe I'll reach for this next spring or summer!

Bought the body mist of this and I have to say I expected more from this. It's very "meh". Luckily it wasn't expensive. Will probably give it away Edit I'm once again revisiting my old reviews and am thinking what the hell has been wrong with me! This is so nice. I bet I was just upset because it wasn't a dupe of Ocean di gioia that I wanted it to be. This is a very nice juicy, almost mouthwatering and refreshing aquatic scent. Smells very much like Dylan purple but I like this one more. I'm definitely not giving it away. Eagerly eaiting for summer so I get to use it more

A really lovely perfume. Seductive Blue is unmistakably youthful, like the essence of fresh ocean breezes captured in a bottle with a simple sweetness intertwined. It opens with a crisp fruity note and dries down with a marine, ozonic quality that keeps it from smelling like another fruity-floral fragrance I've smelled countless times before. It’s girly and cheery, as though I’m relaxing on the beach with freshly showered skin and flower petals trailing softly behind me as I walk. The longevity is rather weak but given its price, I can't complain.

I bought this to complete my guess seductive collection and the tester smelled nice enough. Unfortunately this scent actually takes a little bit of patience; It opens up with a very fresh but very sweet smell that is convincing enough but that opening ends up quite synthetic on my skin. It dries down with a lot more floral notes but the sweetness stays, also slightly aquatic. I like it, but its not my favorite, I would really only wear it in warm weather, despite the fact I'm not the type of person to categorize perfumes like that.

As one that strongly dislikes aquatics and freshies and my skin chemistry almost never cooperates with them, I'd say this one is good. On my skin it's more "marine" & beachy, than aquatic and a bit neutral/bitter; I don't get any sweetness or fruits. It's kinda fresh, and salty (!) but there is a note that kinda ruins it and makes it leaning towards the typical "perfume-y" drugstore type of scent. It's surprisingly (for me) pleasant! "Taking a walk by the beach in Greece during a windy summer afternoon". 💙

Too bad it does not last. It’s a unique freshie with the contrast of the citrus and the muskiness and subtle spice of the base notes. If it wasn’t so fleeting, I would have bought a big bottle. Such a nice bottle in the picture! And this is more cute or pretty than seductive.

Ok, yes, the perfume lasts longer then expected, and yes it smells good when you first spray it. But! After maybe an hour or 2, it smells kinda cheap-ish. The middle notes can be only smelled then and it feels like a perfume that a teeny bought alone.
