Candy Bite

This fragrance is very pretty. It doesn’t smell like a typical Western candy, but rather like an authentic Turkish delight (lokum). I get a lot of sweet roses (just a hint of jasmine), plenty of sweet fruit—especially apricot—and a sugary note that leans more towards honey than sugar. There’s a subtle hint of bubblegum as well. It’s not a dupe of any fragrance I know (definitely not Kayali). If you’re expecting a typical candy-like scent, you might be disappointed, but if you’re open to something more natural, floral, a bit more mature, pretty and feminine you’ll fall in love with it. Smooth, without sharp edges or harsh alcohol, and with a light to moderate projection (I hope it will get stronger with time).

Hear me out: I smell Elizabeth Taylor's Passion with the added notes of cotton candy and an almost effervescent bubblegum. Fear not, though, because the Passion part is very faint. So, it does have a slightly vintage tone with added candy notes. However, it smells excellent! The second I smelled this, right out of the box, I knew I loved it. This does not smell like Confection or Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar to me. I found this at Burlington for $30

This is candy rock sugar with marshmallows and cotton candy and a bit of floral notes added to give strength and enhanced performance. Easy to wear, love it!

first thing you smell is the bubblegum scent with a little sweetness and something else i cant quite tell. i think its the pear/ apricot. it dries down to this marshmallow vanilla, jasmine scent.. I'd say its sweet, floral, then powdery.

It took me a while to get used to it, its like a fruity candy (like starburst) with florals. Sweet but not too sugary sweet, the perfect balance. Not juvenile at all but youthful. The opening is like bubblegum and once it settles, its really fruity and feminine. The pear is noticeable and i get rose in the dry down. Initially i hated this fragrance due to the sharpness but now im kinda in love after i gave it some time to mature. Its been like a week since im using this one and liking so far. Thought this blind buy would be a fail but i guess not hehe

So I just receive this today. The overwhelming amount of jasmine is crazy. For a split second during dry down I smelt almost a bubblegum smell, but it vanished quickly and the jasmine is back. In my opinion this is no where near a candy scent as it stands, it’s floral. I hate floral. I’m hoping maybe if it sits for awhile it’ll sweeten up but as is, I can’t wear it. Update: it’s been 4 weeks and I decided to test it out again. My god the scent difference is crazy. It’s actually not half bad now. Not gonna be a go to scent for me but definitely a lot sweeter and I could see myself reaching for it occasionally now. Thank god

I had high hopes for this fragrance based on notes, but sadly I am disappointed to report that they were NOT lived up to. this fragrance opens with a BLIP of sweetness akin to what I was expecting. however, it very quickly became a jasmine bomb on me. I am unable to pinpoint any other notes, and it’s as if the sweetness completely disappeared. it’s a dated, heavy jasmine floral fragrance. pass. luckily I only purchased a 2 mL sample!

I’m getting a vintagey bad breathe note. Not blind buy safe. I’ll pass on this one.

This is one of the worst fragrances I have purchased in a VERY long time. It is extremely cloying; with a very cheap dollar store air freshener type vibe to it. For a split second after being sprayed I had hope, but the longer it dries down the worse it gets. Gulf Orchid has some great wins, but this was an absolute fail. The cheap florals in this overwhelm any gourmand or candy notes - there was a reviewer who posted about the jasmine being overpowering, they were spot on.

I am just getting the florals, haba tonka and wood, zero gormand vibe. I hope it changes with maceration, otherwise this is a terrible blind buy

It smells like turkish delight and cotton candy, such a lovely sweet scent. It just makes you feel happy. To be very honest when I first smelled it, it wasn't my cup of tea. When I recently tested it again, it just made me feel so happy and comforted. Purchased it and I have no regrets. Agree that it is similar to candy rock sugar, but with a fluffy cotton candy more middle eastern twist. It is different enough to have both (to me!). I also pair this with baklava bite (besides each other, not on top of each other), and it makes me so happy. A VCRS dupe with a middle eastern twist. Update: There's a pungent note that's developed since I last used it for some reason, it's so sad. I won't be using this any more.

upon spraying it smells like those hard candies from the machine very candy like smell , the dry down is strong jasmine its definitly leaning floral .
