Cotton Candy

As a gourmand girl, I was searching for something sweet but fresh and got pleasantly surprised liking that fragrance a lot. The initial sprays are so sweet fluffy/airy like a real cotton candy, you can smell some florals but the cotton candy is the main note. It fades into something more floral heavy (essentially lily of the valley and the rose), you can still smell the sweetness but less coton candy and more something lightly sugary/sweet. Sadly, it lasts up to 2h30 - 3h after completely disappearing from my skin. This fragrance is to me, perfect for spring and summer.

It starts with a cotton candy soap with warm cotton candy notes. Then it goes 100% gourmand and the cotton candy becomes everything. It's a very realistic cotton candy main note in there. You just have to spray a lot, like to cover a larger area of your skin in order to feel it's entire complexity. I will always want to have this in my collection. It's a very beautiful perfume.

I love this perfume in the late winter and early spring. I like to wear it when I’m outside, you can really smell it when the wind is blowing and I love that. It’s semi sweet cotton candy rose scent that’s sure to turn heads. I love the way it projects and lasts a long time on my clothes and my skin. Also perfect for bedtime or lounging in your pjs. I highly recommend.

Gorgeous soft, sweet powdery candied musk that’s super feminine! It actually starts to smell even nicer the longer you have it on! Very clean & fluffy scent, I love!

To me this fragrance has the perfect balance between light and musky clean-girl vibes and subtle yet sticky sweet gourmand. I absolutely love it

Sweet clean cotton candy! The cotton candy and the musk are a odd combo but they somehow work. This is great for layering!

This is a fuzzy pink baby blanket with a splash of canned tropical fruit (lychee specifically). A very oddly nostalgic scent for me. Comforting in a specific way, as it reminds me a bit of both Johnson’s baby oil and the fruit you put on Halo Halo. Not an every day thing, but nice occasionally before bed.

A composition both sweet and delicate. Enveloping the wearer in a pink, candy-like cloud of cotton candy and marshmallow, it quickly settles into a soft skin scent. An ideal fragrance for moments of comfort at home—perfect to wear at night, or whenever you wish to wrap yourself in gentle sweetness.

This does not give off the vibes like it’s advertised on tiktok. It’s a slightly sweet white floral. It’s very pleasant; cozy like a spring cardigan, but not overly warm. I like it better than I thought I would.

I smell more caramel than anything

This fragrance opens with an unexpected freshness, instantly reminding you of the clean, comforting scent of Dove soap or freshly washed linens. There’s a creamy, milky undertone as well as a scent that reminds me of the softness of baby powder. The absence of sweetness from the marshmallow, cotton candy, and caramel notes is instantly evident, as the perfume leans more into the powdery, fresh, and soapy aspects of its composition. The florals—Lily of the Valley, Neroli, Rose, and Orange Blossom—are subtle to the point of being nearly nonexistent. Rather than the delicate, floral bouquet one might expect, this fragrance has more of a crisp, airy quality, reminiscent of freshly laundered sheets. It’s as though the florals have been dialed down to almost a whisper, overshadowed by a clean soapiness. The middle notes, violet, musk, and rose, likely contribute to the overall softness of the fragrance, but again, they are overpowered by the clean, fresh, and slightly powdery scent of soap or freshly washed skin. The perfume, overall, feels like a clean, gentle hug rather than a floral or gourmand experience. Of the base notes—musk, powdery notes and milk—are the most noticeable. Powdery, creamy, clean skin. In short, this perfume is ideal for those who adore fresh, clean scents with an emphasis on softness and subtlety. It’s comforting, inoffensive, and perfectly suited for anyone seeking a fragrance that feels like a breath of fresh air. However, if you're hoping for something with pronounced florals or a sugary, sweet gourmand touch, this may not be the perfume for you, at least not right now. I will need to revisit in a few weeks to see if it matures and offers more than this clean, linear profile.

Kind of a strange one for me. Initially I get a plasticky, synthetic bubble gum. Then the lily of the valley really pops on my skin and eventually dries down to a powdery, rosy marshmallow. I'm not a straight up gourmand girl, so I was excited about the powdery, soapy notes that other reviewers hinted at. I can also see a little bit of LDBS dna in the dry down. Based on what I'm experiencing now, I likely would not have purchased this if I had sampled before hand. It has a very light sillage. Falls somewhere in between Kissing Burns and LDBS to my nose. A tiny bit nauseating as Kissing Burns was to me as well. No cotton candy...maybe it's a loosely translated to mean clean cotton with the added note of nondescript candy ( marshmallow, caramel etc).

There is a synthetic quality to it, kind of plasticky. I don’t know if I can get past that. I will keep and see if maturing it helps. I disagree with cons list, I don’t think this is cotton candy sweet enough for young girls. I am thinking that maybe layering it with a vanilla, cotton candy or even some kind of pink floral perfume like rose may improve it. To me, it’s missing something. I do love these bottles, but I prefer Angel Musk to this.

Smells how it looks. Like watered down pink fabric softener. Someone mentioned a pink fuzzy blanket and that’s fair. One that’s been washed with a generic fabric softener.

I really wish I was picking up the cotton candy and pretty pink florals everyone else seems to be getting. I’m with the reviewers who say it smells sharp, cheap, and synthetic. I really wanted to like this one considering this is the one that was getting all the buzz. It’s not as bad as pomegranate musk, but it’s not really good either. I had to return it, sadly.

This smells nothing like cotton candy kind of a sharp fragrance, that bears no relation to cotton candy.. that doesn't last very long..

It’s just baby powder. Nothing else. That’s all I smell.

This was genuinely a fantastic blind buy. I didn't expect a lot, but now I'm obsessed. Clean, sweet, impossible to offend, but I don't find it too powdery either. I've only tried one other Gulf Orchid musk (the pistachio one, which was just fine) but this is making me think I need to rethink the line because I'm gobsmacked by how much I love this. Perfect spring/summer daily scent. What an underrated gem.

So I’m not getting the marshmallow, cotton candy, caramel, or amber notes. It is very musky more musky than powdery. I blind bought this with 0 expectations so I’m not too mad at how it smells. However, this perfume smells like straight up fabric softener sheets. Or fabric softer. If you want to smell like clean musky laundry, this is your scent. Definitely more feminine.

This is a clean rosy Cotton candy sweeet smell. It smell 100% feminine. For me the rose smells clean and light. The Cotton candy and caramel add sweetnes. It has a soapy feel to it. It smells fresch clean nice. It stays on skin and clothes like crazy. My jacket has smelled for 5 days. On skin it lasts 6-8 hours. It is a really nice scent.

Smells like dove bar soap. Not getting any cotton candy.
