This fragrance is quite literally a journey. Imagine you are put into a room with a stranger for 12 hours, and at the start they're quite stand offish and aggressive. But over time as you get acquainted with one another they lower their defenses and that's when they truly start to warm up. Nearing the end of the hours together you've grown quite fond of each other and its time to say good bye, and it leaves you with a lovely memory of them. If this sounds like something you would like to experience, buy this. The opening is a very potent incense, and syrupy passion fruit and raspberry. but after an about an hour or so the incense mellows and out comes the rose and boy, its it delightful! There's still that woody incense smell but once again as time goes on that fades, and near the end of its life it has a very calming vanilla suede to leave you with as a bit of a skin scent. I would never give anything a perfect 10/10 but this one comes very close too it. and for its price I think its safe enough to pick up and have it for a collection. I wouldn't wear it as a daily, this is strictly a night out, cool weather scent that could be all season if the temps are low enough. Final Ratings Longevity: 9/10 very long lasting on my skin I get about 12 hours out of it. never been tested on clothes so no ranking Smell (subjective): Again a 9/10 this is a very unique scent. Sillage: 9/10 Very strong go light on the sprays with this. 2-3 at most will get you great projection. Price: At the time of this review its being sold for $30 and for that I'd say your getting a steal and if you don't like it, justify it as the cost of a meal eating out. Overall, I can't recommend this one enough if your looking for a unique scent.

TLDR: Extremely Juicy passionfruit paired with a coat of leather 10/10, 10000% NOT blind buy safe I am not going to lie, at first, I absolutely hated this fragrance. However, after giving it a few more tries, I learned to appreciate its beauty. The passionfruit Opening is quite strong, matter of fact, it really just stays throughout the span of the fragrance. Furthermore It could just be my nose but this fragrance is so strong that i can still smell it after leaving the room It has been sprayed on; the way the scent stays in my nose is a little scary. this leads into my next point. The performance on this is unlike anything that I currently have. This beauty lasts on my skin a solid 12 hours. FInally I would like to address something very crucial, this is not a people pleaser type of scent. I have recieved polarizing opinions from my peers. My girlfriend is not a fan, my friends love it but think its too strong and my very own mother thinks it nice. if i were to best describe what this smells like It would probably be a juicy passionfruit being squeezed by a pseudo-biker who is wearing an expensive jacket.

This is absolutely gorgeous! A very wearable interpretation of oud maracuja. The leather and oud are soft non animalic and not aggressive like in azzure oud or the og. My girlfriend hates those 2 fragrances, but she likes this a lot. The passionfruit in this is heavenly! I only got it today so I can’t comment on performance yet. So far this seems to project an arms length for 1.5 hours before gradually turning into a skin scent. The drydown is lovely too it turns a bit sugary sweet with some incense and vanilla. I don’t get much oud/leather at this point, it’s there but in the background. It’s been 5 hours and I can still smell it pretty clearly on my hand. If the reviews on this are true then this will turn into a monster performer when it matures. Will update if anything changes

Excellent value. To my nose, its just a great smelling scent. Good complexity, very fruity for a dark oud with a touch of rose floating behind the fruit. Its not a leather forward scent, but if that note bothers you, you should probably sample first. Its the kind of fragrance I find myself sniffing my wrist all day long. I do not generally like comparing to the original unless its trying to be a perfect match. This one isn't, but I am sure its not trying to be. Standing on its own, what a great scent for this price. I have many fragrances in my collection, plenty that cost me 10x the price, and I still reach for this bottle regularly because it smells good to me, and I like wearing it.

9/10 Very, very approachable fruity oud fragrance - and I say this as not being a huge fan of the barnyard stinky, stanky ouds that are out there. The leather and rose in Exotic Oud even out the sweet raspberry opening really well, and the coffee note begins to enter the mix on drydown but it's very subtle. As a blind buy, I was a little worried about the first sprays onto a tester strip, but the first time on skin was a nice surprise. After a month of maturation, she's loud, the performance is now over 6-7 hours with a skin scent long after. I can't get enough of it, my wife absolutely detests it, says it smells like bug spray. I couldn't care less about her opinion.

I got my bottle yesterday so all my impressions are pre-maceration if that makes sense Right of the bat; what a burst of tropical fruits, mostly passion fruit, Wow!!! It is so juicy and rich. I was even expecting a bit more oudy notes smeling azzure aoud before. Exotic Oud smells AWESOME. Longevity is sick too, I sprayed it on my forearm at 1am before going to bed and now at noon time I can easily smell it of my arm. Atomiser is very solid, spreading a lot of juice so all in all for the price of £30 (~40$) it is a phenomenal buy. I can't wait to start wearing it But I will give it few days to settle and open up Beautiful scent !

10/10 fragrance in my opinion, very polarising and definitely not a safe blind buy Initial first spray out of the sealed box was putrid and medicinal, the oud and leather notes diminished the fruity top notes but after around 2 days of macerating the change of its profile was insane Now it’s a very fruity fragrance with the oud undertones for the first 4hrs on skin and dries down into almost a mix of vanilla oud and leather, a surprisingly smooth fragrance for what it is Definitely don’t regret adding this to my collection. Easy 10+ hrs on skin and lasts for around 2 days on clothing

This is such a beast. Unbelievable. Since I bought it I knew it's great but now ~8 months on the shelf this is amazing and Unbelievable strong Even tiny spray on wrist is like an entire journey. I dont even use it outside too often cause it's too obnoxious. I guess. I don't care I will start wearing it. Adjusting spray accordingly from tiny drop to 4-5 sprays max going out somewhere. Crazy good Juicy tropical and oriental oudy at the same time. Evolves so well on the skin Wow what a clone I guess it is much more than just a clone-inspired It's surely inspiring 9.8/10

I still need to smell oud maracuja but holy shit this ones insane. I haven't worn it properly yet so I cant say what the silage is like but the projection is genuinely insane, it stayed on my skin the whole night, all in all maybe 12+ hours. The scent itself is easily at least a 9/10. Update I recently got Oud Maracuja and im genuinely kinda torn between which is better. This one is a lot fruitier (not feminine) than oud maracuja, but oud maracuja is slightly more refined.

I have close to 60 fragrances in my current collection, and this Exotic Wood has by far the craziest longevity, easily over 12 hours after only 2 sprays on my shirt. Its sillage is also strong enough that after 8 hours, my colleague at work could still smell it after I walk past them. Great scent profile! Dark and mysterious, well blended according to my wife. What a pleasant surprise for a $30 blind buy! Make sure you don't overspray this Exotic Wood.

I was hoping for a stronger coffee note, but I can't really smell coffee at all unfortunately. This smells just like my other Oud Maracuja dupes, of which I now have 3. This is my second favorite, with Anfar Sabbia coming in first, and Armaf Eter Desert Rose third, but only because it doesn't perform. They all smell really good! (Edit: oops I forgot Lattafa Art of Nature I. I guess I have 4 OM dupes. Haha!)

This smells soo interesting..juicy dark passiin fruit bursting through and just under there a note id smoke abd passiony incense and a touch of oud...so beautiful. Ordering my second bottle cis i already know this will be my scent for a while..value exceeds its pricing for sure

The fruity notes bring some complexity for me, and I love it. This scent feels distinct from the sea of blue and vanilla fragrances out there. No regrets whatsoever, it’s strong and long lasting.

I think I had my first nosegasm with this amazing scent. Goodness what a scent. 🥰 10/10

how much this changed after one day of sitting is mind blowing to me. the very first spray nearly smoked me because the only thing I could smell was bubble tea with burnt rubber, but for some reason the burnt rubber is always a case with leathery clones so I immediately put it back into the box and the next day tried it- completely different. Hands down the most unique premium addictive sophisticated and seductive smell I own. It’s oudy smoky and leathery well enough for winter obviously but no one’s talking about the fact that it’s just so tropical just enough to be worn on summer nights. This is a straight masterpiece, though not blind buy safe, you need a certain character for it. You really need to know how to pull this off. You have to be sophisticated enough yourself and very comfortable in your own skin- because given how unique and attention pulling the scent this combined with it’s brutal sillage and longevity I could literally for the first time ever see people turning around as I went sniffing the air and wondering what the hell smells so good and when realising it’s you then somehow you are like a magnet. Maybe it’s just for me but this frag does wonders for me. 20/10

@lfir3 I never said it was maceration and I know it takes weeks. Sometimes when I buy dupes, they smell how they should even on the very first sprays, but usually there is something funky that needs to sort itself out (like performance or one weird note) that’s what improves after weeks. But then again some dupes just smell literally terrible on the first sprays which was the case with this one too and you might be partially right with the using all that’s in the straw but not the way you’ve put it. Because we all know that when you buy a new frag, the straw is empty. What I think happens there is a chemical reaction of the alcohol touching the metal in the atomiser for the first time that messes up the juice that comes along the atomiser for the next couple of hours. So it’s this combined with I think oxidation not only in the metal but also in the juice itself that definitely takes a place in the changes in those couple of hours.

Oud with a passion fruit twist, no direct inspiration I'd point to - this one's got its own character. Statement piece, cold weather. 4 stars, beast mode performance across the board. Smells more expensive Gentlemen, classic. Pricing around $30. Would buy again.

Nursing home. If you have ever smelled the awful cleaner used in a nursing home, you have smelled Exotic Oud. I am not critocal of most fragrances but this is the worst smelling fragrance I have ever put my nose on. It is literally sickening!!!

god how can a fragrance be so awful. before this i thought i was mostly open to different notes and it would be fun to try out something new - oh how wrong i was. genuinely smelled like feces and burned rubber.

There's nothing in the description of it that indicates that the perfumer envisioned it as a cold weather (cold as in Europe/North America/Russia cold) scent at all. It's just that all these "knuckledraggers" think that if a frag comes with a strong (relatively) oud accord, it has to be a winter scent, which is of course nonsense (Mind you, most of these raw materials that scent accords are trying to emulate through accords created in a lab come from tropical areas, and are used in said areas year around (since they don't get cold weather like New York/Moscow/London gets cold weather)) . I can't comment on the fact that it changed for you after only one day, but I'm glad that you enjoy it, and now I'm even more primed to get myself a bottle of it. Cheers!

Man im in love with oud maracuja dna, and this one in the beginning is a blast of passion fruit like the og, but its the middle notes and dry down that idk add amber or something? I cannot tell exactly what but it makes it even more sexier and sweeter, very very sexy stuff im in love, and spray this heavily at ur own risk, I did like 15 sprays and it made me nose blind, but later after 12 hours it could still be noticeable without having to put ur nose close to where u sprayed, id say this lasts for 18 hours plus and projects well for 12 hours, im not joking try this out for urself, I love it

Wonderful smooth fruity leathery fragrance with the juiciest passionfruit note I have ever smelled with a little bit or raspberry syrup in the middle, to mee this smells like a Smoky (not tobacco) leather jacket that sombody spilled an exotic mixed drink on. The performance is pretty nuts aswell with 4-5.5 hours of projection but lasts on skin 10 and clothes even longer.

@tominnoss It’s not a one day change influencers have tricked you into believing incorrectly how maceration works. What is most likely the case is you’ve used all the fragrance that wa sin the straw.

I want to like this and Al Qiam Gold but I just can't.
