Mojito Obsession

Purchased this after getting the Old Fashioned in this line. Being that I have a decent number of middle eastern fragrances, opened the box (Lovely presentation) sprayed it a couple times and tossed it on the shelving in my 65 degree frag cave. Initial sprays were alcohol, and strong wood with mint. 4 weeks later, it was time to actually give it a real run. Wow! This is tropical beach Mojito on vacation relaxing. 78 degrees today with a proper wear and it’s truly uplifting. The citrus up front is well done. Feels like the perfect amount because a few seconds later the mint comes in. They compliment each other immediately. Through the mid and dry, it spices up a bit, but not to much where it takes away from the feeling of a relaxing drink on the beach. It is slightly linear, but that’s not a bad thing. Specifically because it’s called Mojito Obsession. For 30 US, buy this now. Open, spray 3 times, toss on a shelf in the basement or even in the fridge if you’re impatient. Come back in a month, and enjoy this in the summer sun. I know there are haters to that theory of letting a fragrance mature, but I can absolutely say it’s true. Almost 400 fragrances later, even my Niche fragrances get better with time.

Esse perfume me remete a um mojito bem gelado e docinho em um dia quente, refrescante e gratificante, abre frutado, cítrico e mentolado, logo depois, evoluindo para um cheiro confortável e limpo. Um perfume perfeitamente balanceado e agradável, achei ele um perfume que não tem um gênero específico que possa usar, o cardamomo fica imperceptível ao meu olfato. Recomendo e muito a compra desse perfume a qualquer um.

This smells exactly like a mojito I bought it for myself to be a fun freshie but my husband loved it more and gets many compliments. It lasts all day but we are oversprayers. Smells like a bright fresh mojito. Super citrus forward. I’m not sure about the other reviews saying they get no citrus or mint?? Huh?? Lol

Absolute citrus bomb, lemon lime goodness. Hard to say I could compare it to anything out there. It’s almost on its own. Maybe Torino 25 on speed? If you can get it cheap, it’s a safe blind buy if it’s under 30 and you like citrus. 9/10

I didn't expect to like this one as much to be honest, the bottle is giving lemony fresh vibes. but its better than what i thought. SO GLAD I added this to my collection..

everything you can wish for from a minty lemony drink sorry perfume, so refreshing.

Fresh citrus and mint. I was very surprised because I was looking for a mint fragrance besides Torino21. Voux Zingy wasn't it. You or someone like you is good but didn't convince me 100%. Torino21 is what I wanted, but the price ... This one, for the price point, ticked all the boxes.

Smells like a slight minty sweet lemon candy. Great if you like sweet scents. Get a slight mint but don't get any other notes. Unfortunately I kind of get window cleaner with the lemon but otherwise it’s great

A refreshing fragrance, perfectly suited for summer escapade. Lasting needs to be improved, but a great value product overall.

Just a incredible summer smell

It's okay for the first couple of minutes. I get the fruits mostly the passion fruit and peach. There is a green note but its not minty like gulf orchid was playing it safe. After about a few minutes, it flatlines all the way to the base, where I just get nothing but sweet notes. Then you get a cheep gas station incense musk. Its pitiful this perfume is sad like a bunch of valley girls saying its "so sad" yea its that . What is gulf orchid doing?

I just blind-bought this perfume, and here are my impressions. In the top notes, I detect very little lemon and mint; the peach and sugar notes are very prominent, making it quite sweet and not quite living up to the perfume's name. But since it's a cheap perfume, I didn't expect too much. I'll probably let it sit for a month or two to see if it improves. By the way it like 6/10 to me

The opening is a very clear burst of bright, tart lemon juice. It smells like a mojito packed with plenty of lemon slices. The mint and lime are quite realistic, and there is also a touch of peach and passion fruit, so the freshness comes with a little fruity sweetness. The scent itself is very pleasant, but it fades extremely quickly.

This fragrance sparked my curiosity because of all the notes but also the name of it. I had high hopes for it. Turns out, at first, it smells really close or identical to a mojito. Like really you took a whiff of your mojito on a sunbed next to the pool. Mind blowing. But then, (this is where it turns 90 degrees) the drydown is a little weird. There's some strange notes that takeover like peach, sugar and some lemon. It's really messy and not well done in my opinion. After 1h, it left a plastic / rubber smell on my clothes and it wasn't great at all.. The sillage doesn't exist and the smell itself is a skin scent for sure, the notes quickly vaporate in the air. I have to say I'm disapointed..

It was a blind buy, I was really excited, cause I wanted something fresh and citrusy for the summer. Boy did I MAKE A MISTAKE with this one...it straight up smells like a smoky arabic super masculine, dark parfume. Nothing in the appearance of that pretty bottle suggests a harsh, dry, cigarette smelling, lemon sprinked in the background kind of male scent. No mint whatsoever, which is regretful in particular. Unfortunately, its the opposite of freshness. I honestly dont understand how can others feel it refreshing. So disappointed...I hope that in some kind of a magic way this will change till summer when its time to use it, but quite frankly I really doubt it. I think it will turn even more masculine and smoky based on my experience with other arab perfumes. :(

Update on 7/1/25: I still enjoy the scent profile but there something about this perfume that smells a bit cheap, and not long lasting. Update on 6/21/25: Mojito Obsession is everything I hoped it would be and more. Its a clean, sparkly, fresh, fruity citrus fragrance that actually smells like a minty mojito on the rocks. The lemon note is not artificial and does not smell like pinesol or lemon cleaner. The incense and spicy notes are undetectable (perhaps just giving subtle sophistication but not detectable in a khamrah kind of way). And the fruit notes are very well blended without being overbearing, distracting or too sweet. The sweetness is mingled with a bit of passion fruit tartness so it doesn't get cloying or boring. Perfect minty lemony fragrance for the summer. Gulf orchid got it right this time. No maceration needed. Oh and did I mention the bottle is gorgeous!! One of my best blind buy purchases of 2025. And no, the lemon in here doesn't smell like devotion, or giggle puff or empire victor....it smells effervescent as opposed to gourmand, if that makes sense. Original review on 6/16/25: I purchased this perfume on launch day. Will report back asap. Hoping it's smells like a unisex minty fresh mojito. I'm a bit nervous about those spicy cinnamon/cardamom notes. Fingers crossed it doesn't smell like a khamrah mojito flanker lol

@Hotdoglegend it's supposed to be an original creation from their new "mocktail collection." But I've heard reviewers compare it to Platine Blanc or Voux Zingy.

I dont know why its called Mojito Obsession. All i get is a peach with a bit of lemon. Its really sweet because of strong peach note. Cant find mojito at all

Great fruity mojito. It does have a smoky undertone but fresh and sweet. Very nicely done
