Sweet Heaven Ice

When I first saw this it sounded really good, but I was afraid it would be too sweet for summer, and too cold for winter. Well I think I may be right, but it also smells amazing so I don't even care. I've said that there is no more beautiful fragrances in my collection than Lattafa Vintage Radio/Al Nashama, and that's still true, but Gulf Orchid Sweet Heaven Ice is very close behind. It starts off with this beautiful fresh fruity sweet spicy plum, and some booze. It reminds me of some fruity spicy drinks that you would drink in the winter time(think Blackberry brandy or wassail but with plum). After a while you start to smell the florals, vanilla, tonka and wood, but the top notes seem to really hang on especially the spices and plum. It truly is a beautiful fragrance, and I just got it it's only going to get more smooth over time. I think if there is one thing I can say is a mark against it is I can see someone saying it's a little harsh, but I like that prickly feel in my nose and the realistic alcoholic booze note. I also don't find it to be all that fresh or aquatic it's just enough to make it not a winter scent only. It works most times of the year maybe not the highest of temps. Absolutely fabulous fantastic gorgeous fragrance. I look forward to trying the other Sweet Heaven fragrances, and more from Paris Corner in general. EDIT: So as it dries down more(about four hours in for me) the spice and sweetness die off a bit, and it starts to have a lightly sweet, soft powdery, woodiness similar to some popular fragrances from the 00's, and 10's. It's kind of giving me LaNuit, L'Homme, Mustang, Ed Hardy, D&G The One vibes. I would say anywhere or weather you would wear any of those this one would also be good for. Love it!

I have no idea how this frag is rated at 3.9 In my collection of 180-200 frags i have smelled many that were worse and had rating anywhere between 4.2-4.5 and even multiple angel's share and it's flankers clones, and even amongst them this is in my top. This is very lovely addition to my collection, i love it. The only reason i can see this being so low is many woman rating it low because they anticipated it as another angel's share clone they can use and this is clearly unisex but has harshness pushing it towards men. There's a reason it is voted as unisex but at the same time so few votes meandered to the feminine side, which doesn't happen often on fragrantica. That or someone intentionally trying to keep the score low.

Pay no attention to bozos using words like asphalt, rubber, or burnt. He's either stroking out and smelling toast everywhere, or the drugs have destroyed his logic and ability to form opinions that aren't just trying to drum up attention. It's boozy, yes. Strong, sorta i guess. Displeasing in any way, to anyone?? No chance. Cherry, tobacco, ice...... Really they all f'ing rip. Obviously you pay attention to which fragrances bring the most positive attention. Day 1 of S. H. This one will be polarizing because it is an angel share clone with a twist. It’s fresher and a little bit more citric in the top, even though no citrus is listed in the top notes. I personally love it and think it smells really good. No complaints last all day and I get compliments when I wear it to work. I wouldn’t consider this a safe blind by because some people is going to consider it too sweet. Some people’s gonna consider it too masculine. Me myself personally I am a whore for plum notes so this scratches that itch for me and I personally think it’s a winter wonder but deep winter this will get more appreciation when it’s cold AF outside.

The reviews on this one seemed really mixed and based on notes I blind bought it. Perhaps this is one of those fragrences which varies greatly depending on your personal skin, but I absolutely love this fragrence. To me, I get soft fruit notes from the plum on open but very subtle, alongside spice from the cinnamon. Leading into that hint of floral and the cashmere. And a sweet but earthy undertone under it all. It's been a compliment getter for me. My only gripe is silagine is pretty poor. Otherwise the cost to quality on this one makes it a regular part of my rotation.

Bought this a few months ago and pumped out several sprays to get the maturation process started. Got it out of the drawer yesterday to give to my Hubby for his birthday. We are impressed! It’s gorgeous, the plumb note lasts throughout the wear, balanced by the smooth cashmere and sweet vanilla, with a few warm spices to add to the complexity. It’s very well balanced and got him compliments from young and old, male and female at his birthday party. Surprisingly long lasting with great sillage. We love it. He smells so sexy wearing this!

Absolutely a safe blind buy. Smells really good and projects like a beast. The notes are really well blended together. It smell like a fresh sweet take on the infamous Angels share💯🔥😤 it’s an Awsome work or date night drag. Also Macerating is expected for at least a month for the notes to blend wonderfully 🫡

Love this on my man! This is not at all Angel Share inspired. This is a true spicy-freshie all the way through. It projects moderately and is quite long lasting: I could still smell it on his skin after shower. It is a must have warm weather fragrance in my opinion.

Mine arrived today! Picked up the double-pack, SH Cherry & SH Ice, from Aroma Concepts 👍🏿 As is my custom, I macerate upon arrival, so, did my 10 spritzes, and, I'll sit it down for a month. At that time, I'll revisit, and, give an update/review.

One of my top compliment getters. I love this . I personally think it’s more of a winter /fall scent however I could see it being worn year round. It’s eternal in clothes and lasts all day.

Fresh, boozy scent. A little powdery. I actually enjoyed this fragrance a lot. Moderate sillage and lasts about 4 hours before becoming skin scent.

Very amazing for its price, so is the longevity and sillage. Makes me want to get the tobacco one as well.

Smells like Invictus mixed with Angels Share.Sounds weird but it actually great.

Honestly, I'm surprised, because for a long time I associated this brand mainly with absurd prices and quality that even the most inflated marketing could not defend. I had their pathetic older releases way before online shills started turning Gulf Orchid into some kind of revelation, so there is no sentimentality or special leniency here. This basically is Khamrah in a marine version. But not in the sense of some deep, mineral-salty ocean. It's more like a normie Invictus built on a base that brings Khamrah to mind. It sounds like a stupid idea, and yet somehow it works in the end. Right from the start, you get a plum-cinnamon, slightly boozy base with a cool, ambroxan-aquatic breeze on top. This is not marine in the style of raw salt or iodine, it is more in a deodorant way. So it feels fresh, clean, and synthetically aquatic rather than deep and naturalistic, as in Atlas, for example. What you get here is easily approachable and wearable. Because of that, the whole thing does not come across as fully heavy or dessert-like, even though the foundation clearly leans in that direction. Instead of sticky cake or liqueur, you get more of a fresh-sweet, slightly masculine vibe. Beyond that, nothing really happens here. What matters is that, in terms of performance, it works. On me, the longevity is very strong, much better than this deodorant-like style would suggest. The projection may not be massive, but it is perfectly acceptable. I think this is where my reaction shifts from admiration for quality to appreciation for the fact that the product delivers better than it has any right to at the €15 retail level. It's more of a practical, perfume-deodorant approximation than something genuinely refined, but maybe that's exactly where its strength lies. And that very lack of ambition, combined with the remnants of Gulf Orchid's hundreds of (now mostly deleted) fake reviews on every bottle, oddly is not much of a problem. It take the woody gourmand booze forward DNA of the latter and blends it with the sweetness and freshness of the former. Surprisingly, the result is not a trainwreck. You get a good blend of sweet, woody, gourmand, boozy, spicy, floral and powdery aromas with standout notes of cinnamon, cognac, vanilla, iris, and caramel. A common issue with gourmand fragrances is that they tend to be sweet and lack a fresh note to liven things up. Well, Sweet Heaven Ice actually solves that issue. But don't expect an aquatic or minty influence here, and the name and presentation mislead you into thinking there might be. In fact, Gulf Orchid in the future may even want to try to blend the Angels' Share DNA with a full-on "blue freshie" DNA and see what they come up with. This is more like Angels' Share livened with a touch of Invictus/1 Million/Phantom style sweet freshness. This is completely unisex, great for gourmand lovers and very good value for its price. If you're at all familiar with the Angels Share/Khamrah/Royal Blend DNA, this nice twist on it is up your alley. Do note that performance is good, but the sillage and projection drop quite quickly in comparison to its longevity. Recommended.

Opens up very boozy, can definitely smell the cognac and cinnamon at the start. Stays that way for an hour before it start getting sweeter. Even though the plum is at the top, I get a lot of plummy red date scent in the dry down. Takes about a month to macerate it for the longevity to kick in. Before macerating, longevity is about 5 hours. After macerating it's about 8 to 9 hours. I'm much prefer the opening vs the dry down. The name is a bit misleading, it's not really fresh, it's more of sweet but in a different way. Not blind buy safe

Sexy everyday scent, perfect for fall. Unlike Angel’s Share, which can lean heavy and boozy, this one has a lighter, fresher vibe that still keeps that rich, addictive depth. Women seem to love this one on me. Projection and longevity are excellent with my batch; it easily lasts all day and stays on my clothes for days afterward. Best part? It's cheap! Now go get it ;)

Smells like if angels’ share was a cherry/plum pie instead of an apple pie, less heavy on the booze and cinnamon, even though you can still smell them, which makes it more wearable than the OG in warmer weather, wouldn’t call it a summer perfume though. It’s pretty strong right out of the box without maceration. Unisex but slightly male leaning.

I usually don't get the burnt rubber smell but this one was a very poor burnt rubber smell and it had fully matured. It has a weak sillage and it's longevity on my skin is low. I would not blind buy. It is very disappointing because I have other fragrances from the brand and they do well. This one is just poor.

I think it smells great, however it really doesn’t have that much going on. Like I can’t really smell it a lot. Don’t get me wrong I can definitely smell the plum and the sort of boozy scent under the plum but that’s it. But yes it still smells great.

While marketed as Unisex, I would certainly say this leans more masculine. A lady could make this work, but I'd suggest layering it with something sweet (like a vanilla/warm vanilla, or something fruity/fruity & boozy) . That would feminise it a little bit. When I sprayed this, I literally said, "WOW! THIS is what a hot guy smells like!" I later went back to the same room I initially sprayed this in, and said, "WOW, smells like a hot man was in here!" Sweet Heaven Ice really is a dream. It's bright, fresh, and ironically somewhat warm (without being cloying). SH Ice has a sweet and spicy mix to it, a slight fruitiness, and some booziness (not too much, though). It definitely tells its own story. It's sort of along the lines of an AXE spray, but way better/way more grown up (I DESPISE Axe anything, but I LOVE this!). It's also very strong, so not much is needed. You could wear this in any season, day or night. Highly recommend! (I especially recommend this for men!)

If you have a strong preference for sweet, rich, gourmand fragrances, Sweet Heaven Ice is a good choice that smells alright. But if you prefer something with a little less sugary intensity, you might find it just a little too sweet for your personal taste.

In the opening and mid, my bottle of Gulf Orchid Sweet Heaven Ice is 80% Orto Parisi Megamare (funky salty sea breeze), 20% By Kilian Angels' Share (adds a slight touch of amber to slightly darken that marine smell). My bottle is a slightly-darker Megamare. My bottle is a marine aquatic in the same general realm of Versace Dylan Blue and AdG Profondo. Disappointing because I don't really like marine aquatics, although many others do. It should've been named Sweet Heaven Sea. Actually, this shouldn't have been a flanker of the Sweet Heaven line at all. Shockingly, Orto Parisi Megamare was already in the Reminds Me Of section but it was hidden from the downvotes until I keyword-searched for it and upvoted it. My bottle isn't gourmand in the slightest. My bottle is absolutely not like a flanker of Angels' Share; it is like a flanker of Megamare. Again, I iterate my disappointment. The listed notes are very misleading - there should be a sea/marine note, or at the very least an ambroxan note. Also, I was so unlucky that the only other review that mentioned Megamare or an allusion to sea notes (rather than fresh water aquatics) was the one below, posted only a few days after my purchase. Did everyone else get a different batch? Possibly. Do some of us have bad bottles? Maybe. Don't know... Spring, Fall, Summer (not very hot days). Masculine. Appropriate for both casual and semi-formal. This scent profile is like blue jeans - looks great and easy to wear but is common. I think most women will like this scent profile a lot. I just personally don't like marine scents because of their ocean-esq funk (I like fresh water aquatics though). Will update this review later after more testing.

I went to the store because i really wanted to try this perfume for my grandpa for his birthday. To me most male perfumes usually smell basically the same so i wanted to give him something new and more interesting in profile. Mind you, the stores perfumes are mostly sitting there for a loooong time, so the process of them getting macerated is mostly complete. I have NEVER believed when people said some perfumes smell like burnt rubber, but this was the time i know what they talked about. This perfume smelled like a straight up FRESHLY POURED ASPHALT. Then some sweetness appeared afterwards, but the scent of a fresh road on a hot day lingered... Gentlemen - if yall want to smell like a 70°C road that melts your rubber soles, this is for you. I am devastated. I genuinely wanted to love this perfume... 1/10 (I'd give zero, but there was some sweet notes peaking through the asphalt. The sweetness tried to clutch the scent profile LMAO)

To me, it’s a complete mystery why this exists, why it’s needed, and why it has so many positive reviews. Another dumb blind buy. The first 20 seconds smells absolutely unnatural, though not exactly unpleasant. But after that, it smells (actually, it smells hardly at all) like something distant and rancid. I thought it was just my personal perception, but no — it caused unpleasant surprise in three other people as well. Also, this scent has nothing to do with Angel's Share or its sane clones, nor with perfumery in general. It can be just another fancy ‘formula’ for people with a rich inner world.

REAL REVIEW DONT BLIND BUY. I have blind baught this one and the cherry version from seeing so manny amazing reviews with now realizing there all paid for reviews and not honest the truth is they smell terrible they actually make me nauseous extremely synthetic artificial chemical smell the ice smells like a black Ice car freshener / rubbing alcohol and the cherry smells like cheap cherry chemical / cough medicine with menthol 🤢 I actually returned them both verry disappointed

Sweet Heaven Ice by Gulf Orchid is a semi-sweet and fairly typical version of those popular 'liquor cabinet' scents. I would need to be a much bigger booze-hound to know or care exactly which cocktail this is supposedly mimicking; ...probably (and hopefully) none too exactly. I enjoy sampling such scents, though I usually only wear one if layered, probably by up-dosing the vanilla or amber. It would also work as only an added nuance of intrigue, beside a leather, oriental, or even floral fragrance. The blue bottle and word 'Ice' in the name may have some thinking this is a cool or freshly aromatic take. ...but if there is any of that, it is very understated, pleasantly so. This is very close to the core of the sweet 'booze' genre, with vanilla, spices, and soft woods predominating. The "Ice' in the name also doesn't accurately suggest Kilian's Angel's Share On the Rock. If you absolutely must have a comparison between this to a Kilian product, ...then think of this as something vaguely in-between Angel's Share and Old-fashioned. In truth, this scent is not an exact replica of anything, ...regardless of any marketing shenanigans.

I think my decant needed some time to mature, because for a long time I couldn't decipher what this was trying to smell like. To me this is like if you took the boozy plum note from Lattafa Teriaq Intense and drenched it in seawater. The saltiness takes some time to develop, but it eventually comes forward to balance out the fruity notes. As such, I feel like this is a more summer-appropriate variant of Teriaq Intense, which is far more syrupy and heavy compared to this. For me though, I just feel like it's trying to be two things at once without excelling at either. If I want to smell like the sea, I'll reach for Lattafa Atlas or Autobiography Salty Breeze, and if I want to smell like boozy plums, Teriaq Intense is very hard to beat. I don't really feel like I need this to round off my collection as a result. The one consolation is that this made me realize that Atlas and Teriaq Intense actually layer quite nicely, if you don't mind having the loudest scent in the room.

This is what a hot man smells like. Edit: I’ve been wearing this for a few months and still can’t pinpoint a fragrance that smells like this at all. It’s aquatic, sweet, rich, masculine, and good for all year round, truly one of a kind. However, performance is below average, same with every fragrance in this ‘Sweet Heaven’ line. Very disappointing for such a masterpiece.

So sweet heaven ice for me smells like a unique mix of angels share nuances with khamrah and elements of megamare by orto Parisi. I almost feel like this should not work together but it freaking does! And i am here for it! I think the 100ml bottles are sold out but i absolutely need to get my hand on one eventually!

Very very poor performance, weak longevity and no longer noticeable after an hour. it turns immediately into a weak skin scent, projection almost zero. Testing it now for a week and hopefully it will improve after a while.

I'm sorry but in my opinion smells bad... Kinda like cat peeish, I love all of the SW collection but this one is a no go for my taste. I tried several times during the past few months and simply is bad in my nose.
