Picked up the Starter Kit that included 7 Guy Fox fragrances, along with the "Secret Set" which included 3 additional fragrances. JP was my personal favorite of the 10 i tested. Super fresh, soapy clean, sexy and playful scent. Has that classy, barbershop vibe which i love. As another review mentioned, it definitely smells more like a deodorant then a fragrance, but i dig it. Simple and clean 10/10 scent if you like a freshie.

This is my favorite from Guy Fox that I've tried. Fresh and aromatic without being overwhelming, and the most unique of their fragrances that I've tried. Like the rest of their line, it leans a little soapy and smells a little more like a deodorant than a fragrance, but it's a good one. This will likely be the bottle I buy from the sample set, I'm a big fan and my girlfriend agreed.

Fresh and clean. Superior fresh and clean fragrance. Reminds me of the first batch of Get Right/Clean Team Signature (1st release). Smooth, clean, fresh, somewhat creamy (thick), but not heavy. I imagine clean laundry owned by the wealthiest man alive. Detergent ONLY available to the UPPER upper class. Guy Fox knocked this one OUT THE PARK

This was my first time purchasing from Guy Fox, I just about blind buy all of my fragrances and this was actually a pleasant purchase. First impressions are very impressive it’s a mix between ysl and Gris Charnel oddly enough it works and makes this very refreshing yet spicy in an airy sense. All in all it’s a heavy like 7.8/10

Middle aged Georgia cowboy here: Just got in my fragrance sampler (10 samples in just 3 days across the country - impressive) and JP is the 6th one I'm trying. Very similar to me to the bottom 3 on my list below but a bit more elegant for some reason. This would work any time of the year. For me 7.5/10. Of those in the sample I've tried so far from fave to least: Palmer (9/10) (piney/woodsy) Primo (8/10) (smoky/leathery) different from the others so far, very manly JP (7.5/10) (limey/woodsy/classy) Vince (7/10) (limey/woodsy) Marra (6/10) (limey/woodsy) Tyler (6/10) (citrussy/coconutty/woodsy)

Sampling Guy Fox JP, a multifaceted fresh fragrance featuring notes of apple, ginger, and cashmere wood, a bright, zesty harvest that has a background spicy quality, but feels authentically outdoor, like market or an orchard, a really nice, versatile option with respect to situation or season. An easy winner at the price point, with good performance. JP, like the rest of the house, is priced at $68 for 50ml in EDP concentration, and sold through the house website (based in California) as well as the boutique Ministry of Scent in San Francisco, from which I bought a sample set. 7 out of 10

JP is a soft fresh scent that starts of with some nice citrus before moving into a fairly linear soft woods type scent. It is a nice all around fragrance that resembles YSL Ultime. If you are looking for an all year round scent that is pleasing this might be for you.

This is a great easygoing scent. Very fresh, neither youthful nor mature. Professional and outdoorsy? Yes to both. I’m a female who enjoys many masculine frags, and I’ll use my sample up quickly I’m sure.

I have to preface my review buy saying that JP is not my kind of scent. This resulted in the OK rating. It comes across as too floral to me, rather than fruity. That said, for a guy who does like this style, it can be a viable option. JP's opening is citrusy and it quickly dries down into a smooth, creamy and floral scent with a touch of sweetness. It strikes me as a masculine scent because of subtle wood and musk. There's also a slight underlying bite, probably from the cedar and vetiver, although those notes don't stand out. The scent is overall pleasant and somewhat formal, although I wouldn't wear it myself. Longevity is surprisingly good - at least 9 hours - but projection quickly dies down into a skin scent. UPDATE (1/18/2025): I've completed testing all of the Guy Fox fragrances available in their two sample sets. One set is for the "Founder's Reserve" Collection while the other contains all their standard releases. Here's my ranking of all of them, with a few notes: First group, ranked in order of my preference. These are the top Guy Fox fumes in my book - full bottle worthy, with Nightcap being the best: 1. Nightcap 2. Fairway 3. Vince 4. Nelson Second group, no rank or order, just grouped together. Nice scents. I like them, but not enough to buy a FB: Aspen Primo Mikul Jefe Preston Third group, no rank or order, just grouped together. OK, somewhat generic. Mediocre performance for some: Palmer Tyler Marra JP Fourth group. Just plain awful. Was almost a scrubber for me: Riviera

Ladies and gentlemen if you were still looking for the discontinued YSL L’Homme Ultime then you can stop. Just get this. I thought I was going crazy when I got my bottle then I looked this up. The note breakdown is the EXACT SAME as L’Homme Ultime. Now I don’t know if they meant to clone it because this came out in 2018 and I think L’Homme Ultime was still in production or almost done but yeah, smells great. Don’t overspend on L’Homme Ultime if the prices rise from it being discontinued. Just get this
